"I have eyes on the target." Obito said as he stayed in the shadows, staying hidden from his quarry. His sensei's voice came to him from his radio. "Good, now keep sight of it until the rest of your team arrives for back up."

"Understood." Obito watched as his target looked directly at him. He knew immediately what it was going to do as he charged at the now retreating target. "It's retreating! I'm gonna try to send it towards you, Kakashi!" He blurted out on the radio as his teammates' voice sounded off. "Oh you got to be kidding me!"

"Oh my precious. Oh who's my little kitten? You are, yes you are!" The cat struggled in its owner's grasp as she paid the Hokage and left the room. Team Minato all watched the cat get tortured with glee as they rubbed their scratch marks. "Serves you right." Obito whispered as he rubbed at his face, Rin and Kakashi both nodding. Minato kept a straight face, but on the inside he agreed with his students.

Hiruzen stamped a piece of paper before setting it aside. "Well it seems that is the last mission for this evening. Your money will be sent straight to your accounts. Have a good night you four." With that they bowed to their leader and walked out of the office. Leaving the Hokage building, Obito sighed as he turned to his teacher. "Hey sensei, when are we going to do actual missions? It's been over a month." The other two looked at him with the same kind of look he had, one that asked when they were ready.

Minato sighed as he continued to walk. "Well, I would have done it sooner but with how everything is, I've been having trouble finding some work." The kids looked worried at that as Rin spoke up. "So, we can't do it?" Minato smiled at her question as he shook his head. "I never said that."

The kids immediately looked happy as their teacher brought out a piece of paper. "We're all going to be going this weekend to a base near Waterfall Country So I'll need you guys to get ready for a mission for the next couple of weeks." The kids cheered as they all ran to their homes, leaving their teacher to only smile as he teleported home.

Naru giggled as she played with a stuffed white tiger, Kushina reading a book on the couch while watching the girl. Naru continued to laugh as she hugged the tiger and even gave it a sloppy kiss on its nose. "Tiggy!" She yelled as she flopped on her back and lifted the tiger above her head. "Tiggy!"

Kushina just smirked as the front door opened, revealing Minato who created the girl's as he entered the apartment. "Hey, I'm home."

Naru looked towards Minatos voice as she got to her feet and immediately ran to the young man. "Papa!" She yelled as she was lifted into the air by a very happy Minato.

"Hey! Look at you! Do you have Tiggy with you?" He asked in a high pitched noise as the girl giggled and showed him the stuffed toy. "Tiggy, Papa!"

"It is." He agreed as Kushina came up to the two as he and Minato kissed. "You tell them?" She asked. He nodded as they both went to sit on the couch, Naru happily playing with Tiggy on Minato's lap. "They're all excited."

"As they should be. Not everyday you get to leave the village." She said as she looked down to her stomach. Minato placed a free hand on her lap, something she appreciated.

Naru noticed Kushina's and Minato's behavior change as she looked at the woman. "Mama."

Kushina gave a gigantic smile as she grabbed the girl and gave her a loving hug. "Ohhh. I'll never get tired of that." Kushina began kissing Naru who laughed and screamed in excitement. Minato smiled at seeing such a beautiful thing.

Naru slept soundly in her mother's arms as the night was quiet. Minato looked out at the night through the bedroom window to see his village. He smiled as he looked back to the two sleeping girls that he knew more than ever he would always keep safe.

His smile however turned to a frown as one thought came to him. He looked out to his village once more as he thought of that man. What was he planning? How were he and Naru connected? Why was Naru related to him and Kushina? What did this all mean? He had his theories, and they all scared him. So for now, all he could do, was wait.
