UA (Day)
Dominic liked to consider himself as a patient person. However, having his path blocked by hundreds of dumbasses was unforgivable. Exhaling loudly, the blonde pushed his way through the crowd with brute force, pissing off most if not all the people he came into contact with. As he made his way to the front gate, he saw Midoriya being harassed by a female reporter, reminding him of the unpleasant day he had when a reporter and a cameraman followed him home and asked about his relationship with one of his classmates. Sighing a plume of smoke, the boy walked over to help his friend.
"Hey, you!" the reporter asked the greenette, pushing her microphone into his face. "How are All Might's classes?"
Nervous, Midoriya raised his arms in surrender. "Psst. I have a plan. Follow my lead." Dominic said from behind him before walking forward. "I'd be happy to answer some questions for you miss- BUZZ, LOOK! AN ALIEN!" Much like before, everyone barring Midoriya looked into the distance. The blonde took this chance to grab the boy's wrist and drag him through the front gate.
"How did you do that?" Midoriya asked, astonished.
Dominic simply turned to the audience and said, "If it's what the people want, who am I to deny them?" This answer puzzled the boy, but he ended up shrugging it off as Dominic just telling a joke.
UA (Day)
"Good work on yesterday's combat training." Aizawa said to his class. "I saw the video and results. Bakugo, you're talented, so don't act like a kid."
"I know." the boy said, still sulking over his loss.
"And Midoriya. You settled it by breaking your arm again, huh?" Aizawa continued, making the greenette flinch in his seat. "You can't keep saying you can't help it because you can't control your Quirk. I don't like saying the same thing over and over. As long as you fix the control issue, there's a lot you'll be able to do. Feel a sense of urgency, Midoriya."
"Yes sir!" the boy said, promising himself to do better.
"Now let's get down to homeroom business. Sorry about the late notice, but today I'll have you..." Aizawa trailed off, intentionally trying to psych out his class. "...decide on a class representative."
'A what?' Dominic thought to himself as various students began saying why they'd be a great class rep.
"Silence, please!" Iida shouted, quieting everyone. "It is a job with the serious responsibility of leading others. It is not a job for just anyone who wants to do it. It is a calling that requires the trust of those around you. If we want to use democracy to decide on a true leader, then we should hold an election to choose one."
Hearing this, Dominic groaned in annoyance. Despite being a ruler of a nation, he despised politics. The fact that one of his first enemies was also a government official may be a factor in this. "Why an election?" he asked.
"We haven't known each other for that long, so how can we have trust or anything?" Asui asked, adding to the trainer's query.
"If that's the case, won't everyone just vote for themselves?" Kirishima wondered.
"Don't you think that is precisely why whoever receives multiple votes here can be truly considered the most suitable person?" Iida argued. "What do you think, Mr. Aizawa?"
"I don't care, as long as you decide before homeroom's over." the teacher responded, zipping up his sleeping bag.
"Thank you very much!" Iida said, ignoring the man's disrespect.
Everyone wrote the name of the candidate they wanted on slips of paper that were then deposited into a box. In a shocking turn of events, Midoriya ended up winning the majority of the votes with 3. On the opposite side of the spectrum, Dominic was in last place with -19 votes. How this was possible remained a mystery to everyone.
"I got three votes?!" the greenette exclaimed, surprised.
"Why Deku?! Who voted for him?!" Bakugo yelled.
"Well, it's better than voting for you." Sero commented, pissing off Bakugo even further.
"More importantly, how did you manage to score less than zero?" Jiro asked Dominic.
"No clue. I suppose there are some things even I am not meant to learn." the blonde said, trying to sound cryptic.
As he walked to the front of the room, Midoriya was shaking like a leaf in a tornado. "Then, the class rep is Midoriya, and the deputy class rep will be Yaoyorozu." Aizawa said.
"This should be fun to watch." Dominic said, smiling.
"After all's said and done, Midoriya can be pretty fired up, anyway." Kirishima said. "And Yaoyorozu was cool when we were going over the battle results!"
"That's not why I thought this'd be fun to watch. But fair point regardless." Dominic responded.
UA (Day)
"Even though I've been chosen as class rep, I don't know if I'm qualified for it." Midoriya said as he ate his lunch.
"You are. It'll be fine." Iida said, assuring the boy. "Your courage and judgment at critical moments make you worth following. That is why I voted for you."
"Wait, you voted for him?" Dominic asked, surprised. "I thought you'd vote for yourself. After all, you made it blatantly clear that you wanted the job more than anyone else."
"Yeah. I mean, you've got glasses and everything." Uraraka said.
'She just talks without thinking, doesn't she.' Jiro thought to herself.
"Wanting to do it and being suitable for it are different issues. I merely did what I judged to be correct." Iida explained.
"Merely?" Midoriya said, repeating the bluenette. "You don't usually use that word."
"I've been thinking." Uraraka began, getting the attention of the rest of the table. "Are you a rich boy, Iida?
"I tried to change how I talk because I didn't want to be called that." the boy said, hanging his head. Feeling the stares of his friends, he told them the truth. "Yes, my family has been heroes for generations. I'm the second son. Do you know the Turbo Hero, Ingenium?"
"I've heard his name here and there." Dominic said, recalling a high-speed chase just before school began.
"He's a really popular hero who has 65 sidekicks working at his Tokyo agency!" Midoriya said, unnerving Dominic and Jiro. "Wait, don't tell me!"
"He is my elder brother!" Iida said proudly, reminding the blonde of his own family. "He is a likable hero who honors the rules and leads people. I set my sights on being a hero because I want to be like my brother."
'Just like Ruby.' Dominic thought to himself, smiling at the thought of his younger sister.
"However, I think it is still too soon for me to lead others." Iida continued. "Unlike me, Midoriya realized the point of the practical portion of the Entrance Exam, so he is more suitable for the job."
"I think that's the first time I've seen you smile, Iida." Uraraka said.
"I smile!" the bluenette yelled, almost insulted at the girl's words.
At that moment, an alarm started to blare, forcing Dominic and Jiro to cover their ears from the shock. "There has been a Level 3 security breach. All students please evacuate outdoors promptly." it said, repeating itself over and over. Seeing his first friend from this world in pain, the boy used his power to melt the nearest sirens into scrap metal. This dimmed the noise, allowing Jiro to breathe a sigh of relief.
'I'm having words with whoever's in charge of the PA system after this.' Dominic thought to himself, angered for the umpteenth time today. Knowing about Jiro's sensitive hearing, he handed her a pair of earmuffs he conveniently had in his pocket.
"What's Level 3 security?" Iida asked a student sitting next to him.
"It means someone's trespassing on school grounds!" they answered. "I've never seen anything like this in the three years I've been here! You should hurry, too!" With that, the student left their seat and ran off.
UA (Day)
As it turned out, evacuating with 3,000-something students all in a panic was just as easy as one would expect. Dominic, Iida, and the others were all cramped together, as the mob of frightened teenagers made it difficult to move much.
"As expected of the best of the best." Iida said, struggling to stand straight up. "Everyone reacts quickly in a crisis!"
"They're so quick that it's causing a panic!" Midoriya said, trying not to focus on the fact that his foot was stepped on.
In all the commotion, Iida was pressed up against the window, allowing him to see what was happening outside. "I wondered what it was, but it's just the media. Everyone, calm do-" The boy never got to finish his sentence, as he was pushed even harder against the glass by the crowd. 'Where are the teachers? Are they busy trying to deal with everything? Is there anyone here who knows everything's fine?' he wondered as the mob got even more restless. And that's when genius struck him. "Xiao-Long!" he called out, getting the blonde's attention.
"What?" Dominic asked, his eye having turned red from stress.
"Can you make a platform for me?" Iida asked, surprising the boy.
Taken off-guard, he opened his mouth to respond. "Leave it to me!" he proclaimed, channeling his aura into the ground. Square tiles below Iida began to glow before they shot upwards, taking the boy with them. Pulling minerals from the walls, Dominic formed a floating path for his classmate that led to the wall over the exit.
Once he was where he needed to be, Iida spoke up. "Everyone! Everything's fine! It is just the media! There is nothing to panic about. Everything's fine! This is UA. Let us act in a way befitting the best of the best."
After that, the police arrived. Luckily for the media, Dominic passed out in the hall before he was able to do anything to them.
UA (Day)
"Now, let us decide on the other class officers." Midoriya said to his class, trembling. "But first, can I say something? I think that Iida Tenya should be the class rep after all!" he shouted, surprising many of his classmates. "He was able to get everyone's attention in an effective way. So, I think it would be best for Iida to do it."
Dominic stayed silent, but agreed wholeheartedly because he knew that Iida was truly worthy. Anyone who could keep their calm while addressing a group of teenagers deserved some sort of leadership position, especially if said teenagers are running for their lives.
Engine
Iida's calves have engines in them, allowing him to run at incredible speeds when he revs them. However, they are susceptible to being frozen or overheated.
