YEARS LATER:

The Watcher looked at the new world that is blossoming world after the past ten years. "Years after Hank Henshaw introduced Peter Parker to Janet Van Dyne, things are starting to make a turn for the better. Capturing the criminals left to right who went against the hero. But this is the day...everything changes."

Down on the streets, Peter Parker was swinging around the city in his new nanotechnology suit developed by the DEO. This new suit's color scheme consists of red with some gold highlights, but it also includes some black highlights as well. The symbol reaches his entire chest while his full back was covered with a golden spider.

Peter was on his way through the city, trying to get to his day job at CatCo as their photographer. Sure, he could technically work for the DEO full-time, but he likes the job he has at CatCo. It's a nice way to take a break from world-ending threats and be human.

Well, as human as anyone can be with the fact he's selling photos of himself. Sure, he's also using his skills and power to get the job done as he's mostly used to getting photos of Spider-Man. But hey, it's the only way he could really get money without devoting himself to the job.

"Ms. Grant." Peter made it inside her office and showed the photos he got of Spider-Man (himself) and the Vulture fighting. "Your photos."

Grant then looks over the photos and saw the angles Peter had managed to get with the fight. He looked over and saw she was looking at a photo of Spider-Man using his mechanical legs (thanks to the DEO) to rip apart his wings and using his web-shooters to hold Adrian.

"How you get these photos I'll never understand," Grant commented and took them all. "But I remember the agreement. I don't question your methods, and you get me results."

"Correct," Peter confirmed and Cat wrote a check, handing it directly to Peter. "Pleasure as always."

"Go," Grant demanded, gesturing for him to leave.

Peter started to make his way out and ran into Winn, a friend of his he has made over the years. Winn was either the tech guy of CatCo or Peter's best friend in the building. He ran up to his side as Peter was making a beeline for the elevators.

"So, how do you get those photos?" Winn asked curiously as he followed Peter.

"Winn, I've told you since you've started working here, nobody will be told," Peter informed his friend, thinking back to when he first started and how Winn constantly tried to get the information. "Besides, I don't have time to get into it as I gotta get going. Meeting someone for lunch."

Winn was surprised to hear this as Peter called for the elevator. "You...have a date?"

Peter scoffed at how surprised he sounded. "You don't have to sound so surprised."

"Sorry." Winn apologized. "Just...you and women, it's like you don't get along."

"Getting along is one thing. Finding the time is another completely different thing." Peter shrugged as he showed the profile to Winn. "It's just someone I met on this dating app a friend requested."

"Ooh, she's cute," Winn was happy to see as he took the phone.

"Her name's Jill Stacy," Peter said as he took the phone back and put it away. "The app says we're an 80 percent match, so it's possible."

"You know that most of the time those are just a set of random algorithms posing as actual people, right?" Winn asked his friend as he stepped into the elevator. "It's nothing more than a scam for people desperate enough."

"Yeah, well, you're talking to someone desperate enough." Peter was sorry to admit it as he smiled and the doors closed.

The Watcher moved on from the friendly neighborhood hero and looked out to the city where another hero currently is.

"Spider-Man isn't the only hero who's been changed since the changes to this world." The Watcher said as he looked out at the man standing on the top of a building.

The man is a very tall and well-built Asgardian male; he has very large biceps and long, muscular legs. Fair-skinned and blue-eyed, he has golden blond hair that grows slightly past his shoulders.

He stood there as he looked out to National City when he heard what sounded like a car accident. Looking down to the ground, he noticed an ambulance already arrived at the scene and a female doctor was helping the people of the crash.

The doctor's name was Jane Foster, who is a Caucasian human female with a slender and attractive body short brown hair, and blue eyes. She wears a blue paramedic uniform while she is on duty.

Thor flew over whilst Jane was working on a patient. "Good news, you're gonna live. Bad news, you're gonna have to get used to taking the subway."

That's when Thor landed and watched as she finished up her work.

Jane was surprised to see Thor again, as this isn't exactly their first encounter. "Hey, have you been following me?"

Thor became nervous as he fiddled with his hammer. "Perhaps. You... intrigue me. Human lives are so fragile. Yet you do not seem to accept that."

"Would you?" Jane asks him.

Thor smiled as she somehow saw right through him. "Nay."

"Thor Odinson is one of the many people who were sent to Earth in this altered timeline." The Watcher explains as he then moved on across the world where a prison that is under government control. "They call it the Cube, and it's used to house the most dangerous gamma-radiated people on the planet. Not to mention some of the most dangerous criminals in the world."

There were a dozen other criminals inside the cell outside of Gama criminals. There was an enemy of Spider-Man who constantly found a way to escape known as Electro. In another call was a rampaging Rhino, who was left in an antigravity cell to not rampage through the prison.

In one of the cells at the end, a man was being held up by a few giant bonds to hold all his limbs apart. He has a rather weak build, a scruffy beard, brown messy hair, and brown eyes.

"Well, Bruce, how are we feeling today?" Samson asks the doctor. "No episodes in the last 36 hours, I see."

"This is a disaster waiting to happen, Leonard," Bruce informed him.

"I told you, Bruce, the Cube is the best gamma radiant sight on the planet. We'll find a cure for the Hulk." Samson promises him. "The work we've done on Alexi, and Dillon is-"

"You're wrong. The DEO and Ross don't want cures. I know. They will twist your work." Bruce promises him. "Wanna know what the Cube truly is? A gamma bomb waiting to blow."

The Watcher moved on as he looked and eyed the DEO headquarters where the Ant-Man, Hank Pym, was currently inside of the Big House. The Big House is a miniaturized prison located inside the DEO, designed by Henry to lock up supervillains inside in a miniaturized form.

The supervillains locked in this prison are just the general mass of everyday supervillains. To ensure the villains are kept in line, each inmate is equipped with a device that cancels their powers and is modified for every villain's specific condition.

The guards of the prison weren't any of the DEO Agents as that would be too cost-effective to shrink them down and in case they were needed outside. Instead, Hank had created a peacekeeping android known as Ultron to keep the schedule and control of the Big House when no one was around. But there was always at least one other agent inside to make sure the robots were working and were

"I wanted to ask you a question, Mr..." Hank was trying to talk to one of the residents inside the Big House.

"Mad Thinker will suffice." The inmate tells him.

"Okay." Hank decides to just go with it. "The DEO monitored a conversation you had with Dr. Psycho. You said something was going to happen. We'd like to know... what's going to happen?"

"Can you not feel it, Ant-Man?" Mad Thinker asks him with a giant grin. "It's not a matter of what, but when?"

Down the halls of the DEO, Janet was having a conversation with Hank Henshaw's second-in-command Maria Hill.

She is a tall woman with a slender yet muscular and well-endowed body, short brown hair, tan skin, and brown eyes. She typically wears a standard issue DEO uniform, consisting of a full-length black body suit with knee-length black boots and white gloves, alongside a gun holster strapped to her left leg.

"Director Henshaw was serious about this offer, Janet," Maria tells Janet. "He's trying to put together a team."

"Hank...Ant-Man is against it." Janet tells her.

"And you?" Maria asks her.

"I want to help out more," Janet admitted, seeing nothing spectacular being a guard. It was nothing that Ultron can't do. With her skills, she wants to be out as a field agent like Spider-Man. "I wanna do more than just be a test subject or a tiny prison warden. I wanna help people. Like Spider-Man."

"This will help you do just that," Maria assured her.

As they were talking, there was a new face that Janet hasn't seen around the DEO walking down the hall. Janet and Maria moved out of her way, seeing she wasn't showing any signs of stopping. As the redhead continued down the hall, Janet was still wondering who she was.

She wears a black jumpsuit with a slightly dark blue cover, the shadows being black. Her belt is made of oval-like shapes and has a circle in the front of her belt. Matching her suit, she wears black high heels. She wears golden-colored wrist blasters and has flaming red hair and green eyes. Her hair is styled long, with bangs covering most of her forehead. She dons a slight red form of lipstick as well.

"Who was that?" Janet asks.

"That's classified," Maria responded.

Janet rolled her eyes and should have seen that one coming. "On second thought, maybe I should just stay as a consultant. The DEO makes everything so serious."

That's when the lights around their labs start to flicker and cause them to look in confusion. There are backup generators for their backup generators inside of the building to prevent stuff like this from happening, in fear that the power could allow the inmates to escape. But it was like something was now causing all of them to go past it.

Just then, in the Big House, all of the cells have been deactivated. The inmates were able to get up and walk out of their cells freely.

Across the city, the DEO desert site was experiencing the exact same problem.

Across the desert base, a man was in the training room and was shooting arrows at targets when the lights started to flicker. His suit involved a fabric long-sleeve purple shirt with an arrow symbol going down the chest, as well as black trousers, gloves, and a belt.

All of the non-powered yet still dangerous enemies and criminals started to make their escape from the base and none of their gadgets were capable of stopping them all at once.

In the Big House, Hank was taking notes about what Mad Thinker said when his cell turned off. Hank immediately started to panic when the other inmates started to make their way out of their cells.

Then to make matters worse, the Big House went from small to ginormous in a matter of seconds. Going to the real size of the actual building.

At the Cube, all of the most powerful and most dangerous inmates pierced through the guards as if it were nothing. Slicing off their arms or ripping their ribs out of their body, as well as their spines.

Bruce was released from his restraints and dropped onto the ground and the gamma of the labs started to get exposed and cause him to transform.

Bruce then begins to transform into a large green man with large muscles. He also rips out his clothes with only his ripped pants remaining. His eyes turn dark green as well and his hair becomes black. And his scruffy beard disappears too.

Back in National City, Peter was currently trying to get ready for his date with his match on the site. Of course, getting a date off a dating site is still demeaning to him. Then at the same time, it was really the only time he's been able to get a date in months, so it was the best he can do.

But then his DEO alert watch started to bleep.

Peter groaned as he should have known that his luck would have come to bite him in the backside. But when he got a look at what was happening, he noticed why it was so urgent for him to get out there. Quickly he ran and pulled off his date clothes and made his way out of the window and swung away.

Seems the only one out of all of them that was actually getting a good time out of this day was ironically Thor. He and Jane were both having a bit of a lunch "date" at a nearby outside cafe from the crash. They were getting a few odd looks, which is understandable because she was a paramedic currently sitting across from a Norse God.

"So, your father sleeps for a week?" Jane asks, Thor explaining what is happening back home right now.

"The Odin Sleep," Thor explains to her. "It helps recharge Odin's power once a year, which helps recharge life on Asgard."

"Must be some sleep." Jane jokes as she took a sip of her drink.

"Indeed. But in this time, Asgard is vulnerable to attack." Thor informs her.

"Then... why aren't you there?" Jane was curious to know.

"It is... complicated," Thor confesses.

"Really? Because it sounds like you're angry with your dad." Jane could see the father's issues even in the god. "Nothing gets simpler than that."

"The mortals..." Thor then quickly corrected himself when he recalled who he was talking to. "You... I am needed here."

"Thor, we have managed to survive without you. We've got police, paramedics, firemen." Jane recalled every means of protection for people. "Hell, even a few superheroes here and there. I think you should go help your family. Earth will still be here."

Thor started to think of what she was saying, but their talk was interrupted by an explosion in the distance. Thor quickly stood up and held his hand out, calling for his hammer to return to him.

"What was it you were saying about Earth being here?" Thor asks her.

"Touché." Jane had to admit that her timing was terrible.

Thor then spun his hammer around for a second before taking off into the skies. A few blasts of lightning leave his hammer as he flew away. People nearby had to shield their eyes due to the light and watched as he made his way over to the crime.

Back with the Hulk, he let out a gigantic roar and screech just as the door to his cell doors opened. The man who came in was Leonard, who was exposed to the gamma radiation and groaned when he saw the Hulk.

"The prisoners...they're free," Leonard warns Bruce/Hulk.

But before he could go into further detail, he was electrocuted and taken down with ease. Hulk looked over to the door and noticed the man responsible.

Max Dillon: Electro.

Electro is a bald Caucasian man, with distinct star-patterned scar tissue encompassing most of his face. This was due to a past fight between him and Spider-Man that ended with him being scorched with an old mask of his he used to wear. Aside from a harness, his attire is quite simple compared to the other criminals: sporting a black leather jacket, yellow shirt, dark green cargo pants, and black boots.

"Ha!" Max cheered when he looked and noticed the giant hulking monster. He growled in anger and hatred towards the man who just attacked him. Max immediately changed from a look of happiness to one of fear. "Oh no..."

The Hulk then roared as he zipped across the room and slammed Max into the wall. Immediately giving him the pummel of his life and was able to survive thanks to his powers and fast healing. Getting his way out, he also took Leonard to keep him safe from danger.

In the control room, two people were watching as all of the cells were opened, and every one of the other prisons across the globe was also going through the exact same thing. One of them was a physically unimposing and short-statured man, other than the enlarged head and green skin he looks human.

"It would seem that all of the prisons are experiencing the same thing as the Cube." The Leader commented on the current predicament. "Interesting."

"Who cares?" Emil Blonsky, AKA Abomination, asks. He looks like a reptilian-like body gaining claws, scales, teeth, and gamma powers similar to Bruce and Hulk. The only major difference is that he can't transform back into a human state and has no split personality like Bruce and Hulk. "Let's just get the hell out of here."

"Why would we want to do that?" The Leader questions him. "I have a much bigger idea."

"And what's that?" Abomination questions him.

"Conquer the world." The Leader proclaims.

In the DEO, Hank was pulling himself out of the rubble from the Big House as he groaned but then was immediately wrapped up with a snake tail. This individual has the entire body of a Cobra snake and even can shapeshift into a human body when not using his tail to attack or hurt others.

King Cobra.

"Cobra!" Hank cried as he tried to ease the matter without violence.

But that doesn't exactly work out when someone else comes out across the rubble and Hank sees it's the Man-Ape Mandrill. Mandrill has a human-like appearance with distinctive Mandrill ape features with brown fur and yellow eyes. Mandrill wears a blue shirt with long sleeves, a yellow belt around his waist, black spandex, black boots, and a red cape.

"This is very disappointing, Mandrill," Hank commented, still trying to ease the tension without fighting. "And you were doing so well in counseling."

Mandrill then reacted by charging to get his slice of meat from the scientist. But Hank noticed there was no stopping it and reacted. He quickly shrank down and managed to get out of the way, allowing Mandrill to tackle Cobra instead of himself.

Once the two ended up taking one another down, Hank regrew to his normal size and looked over the damage. "How did this happen?"

Peter was chasing after the alert and ended up making his way to the highway where he spotted an old enemy of his. And by old, he really means old. Doctor Otto Octavius.

Doctor Octopus is short in height and is very pale and also hunchbacked. He has long black wet hair and wears red goggles. He wears a grey scientist suit, around his stomach, and four octopus arms attached to it.

"Otto!" Peter said with a joking cheer in his voice. "It's been so long. How have you been?"

"Rotting away in that hell hole you left me in!" Otto proclaimed in anger.

"Oh, come on, man, it's not like you were exactly a model citizen." Peter rolled his eyes at his anger. "I mean, you tried to kill people."

One of the villain's tentacles pierces through the roof of one of the nearest cars. The people inside quickly flee as Otto rises the car into the air.

"Catch!"

But it didn't seem Otto was in the mood as the villain throws the cars toward Spider-Man, who avoids one and gets hit by the other. Looking through the front window of the car he's pressed against, he sees a frightened family inside. As they're flying over the bridge, Peter climbs over the car, grabs the bumper, and shoots a web. After pulling away the car door, he quickly carries the family members back up to the bridge as Doc Ock approaches.

"It's okay. You guys are fine, you're safe." Peter promises them and pushes them aside. "Get out of here."

Quickly, one of the mechanical appendages grabs the hero and wraps itself around Peter's torso. Otto then pulled the hero closer to him to get a closer look.

"You think your fancy new suit's gonna save you?" Otto asks him.

Another claw clamps itself around Spider-Man's head, after which Doctor Octopus flings Peter through a billboard and the front of a UPS van. Otto slowly lumbers over toward the damaged vehicle.

"I've rotted away in that box for years. Now you're about to rot away in a box...permanently!" Otto proclaimed.

But suddenly Peter came crawling out of the side of the highway after crawling out of the bottom of the truck. Otto didn't seem to notice what he had done and missed when Peter slingshot and sent himself flying into several cars and attached them to his feet before throwing them back at Otto.

Octavius grabbed the cars before they could hit him, only for Peter to come flying and punch through the cars and punch Otto. He then rolled onto the street and got ready for another round against his arch-nemesis.

Meanwhile, inside of the DEO desert facility, the agents were trying to stop one of the most dangerous foes from escaping custody. There was also another agent there who was using a bow and arrows to fight back, but it was ending badly when the man ended up using their technology against them.

"Fools!" The man cried as he flew in, revealing he was a gigantic head with small robotic limbs coming out of his suit. "You think that your primitive machines can destroy MODOK!?"

Then he started to lay waste to all of the agents as they tried to get out of his way. MODOK then made his way outside where he then started to use his technopath abilities to control all of the techs around the area and send them flying at him. The DEO fighter jets, their tanks, everything that he could command, and started to merge them into one gadget.

He turned it into one gigantic robotic suit that he could use to make his way toward National City for his vengeance.

"I'm coming for you, Spider-Man!"

The Watcher eyed all of the destruction and knew that these heroes would have their hands full. "There are many ways that this scenario could end. Let's hope that they end up with the best option..."
