The world before you lies between myriad dimensions. It was once plagued by divine conflict, but saviors from beyond were able to stem that eternal blight. The strife ended, the world was to fade from existence. And yet… An arcane power acted upon it, bestowing these remains with purpose once more. Thus it shines. The dawn of a new era, one where battle reigns supreme.

"So David, have you played Dissidia in video game form before?" Chiaki asked.

"Not as much as I had hoped to." David said.

"Oh… neither have I, honestly." Chikai admitted. "I've only played the main stream RPGs. Well, except for the newest one."

"I will admit, the premise is stellar. Seeing heroes and villains from the mainline games coming together in a grand battle. The appeal was there, for sure. But I just haven't had the time to invest in it." David said. "Sounds like the kind of thing Hifumi would be into, though. Lots of material to work with, and all that."

"Doesn't he exclusively work with material from Demon Angel Pudgy Pretty Princess?" Sachiko asked.

"Well… Yes. But as long as it involves that, a crossover is not exactly off the table." David said.

"The fact that he is putting so much effort because of one character is a little off-putting." Mayumi said.

"I agree, but everyone has their tastes." David said.

"Yeah well, speaking of tastes in characters, does anyone have a pen?" ZS asked, looking around the room. "I mean…as long as we're coming face to face with the heroes and villains of Final Fantasy, we might as well get a few autographs. Missed out on it last time we went to Blue Planet, but not this time!"

"Well, obviously we need to search out the characters in Final Fantasy that ARE affected by Yokai." Hope said. "But it'll be hard to tell because they're all so unique in both styles, and how they use techniques, in both magic and combat."

"Like Y'shtola?" Simon asked.

"Yeah, like Y'shtola. Come to think of it Y'shtola, I think you may be able to help us out a lot here." Hope said.

"How so, my young blue friend?" Y'shtola asked.

"Well, you have a unique sensory ability, right?" Hope asked.

"Correct, even though I have no eyesight, I use the aether that exists all around us to help." Y'shtola said.

"Would it be possible for you to detect any aether anomalies on any Final Fantasy character we come across?" Adora asked. "That might be able to help us determine who's being Inspirited or not."

"Of course, I shall use it to my upmost ability to aid us." Y'shtola said.

The Galaxy King came out of the Lanes Between, floating over a barren landscape, ruins of a castle were seen scattered about around two large towers that were similar in appearance, but both emitted a different aura, one a crystal blue, the other a blood red. However, it was clear that something unusual was happening: the side of the blue crystal tower was pouring down rain, while the side with the blood-red tower was sunny and bright.

"Well… This is certainly an unusual sight. I was expecting the opposite, to be honest." David said.

"This definitely screams Yo-kai." Ajna said.

"Perhaps we should make our descent, and take a closer look." Y'shtola said.

"Hmm…one tower is being rained on, and the other one is constantly sunny? I'm pretty sure my team and I have met two Yo-kai that caused those weather effects before…" Hope said.

"I think we have, during our trip to Springdale." Mahiru said. "I think their names were… oh yeah! Drizzelda and Ray O'Light!"

"Searching Yo-kai database for Drizzelda and Ray O'Light." 153 said. "Matches found." she said, showing first a pale slender girl with long dark blue hair worn in a straight style reaching down to her hips and also a bang covering her left eye. She had a sad expression and orangey-red eyes, like the color of the umbrella she wears on top of her head. She wore a pale blue dress, and beneath her is a big, rippling pool of water.

Drizzelda

Charming Tribe

"Drizzelda. A Charming Tribe Yo-kai, she has a heavily subdued personality and low self-esteem, possibly as a result of her rainmaking powers. This causes her to shy away from everyone and everything. It constantly rains wherever Drizzelda is, no matter the forecast. Anyone Inspirited by Drizzelda shares her personality, becoming just as depressed and self-critical." 153 said.

She then showed a yellow-skinned Yo-Kai whose head was very round-shaped. He had blue eyes and a beaming smile on his face. There were teardrop-shaped areas around his head, making it look like a sun. He wore a fancy white tuxedo with blue buttons, a tucked-away blue tie, and a sunflower pin. He had what looked like a cloud with its tips wrapped around his arms. He also wore simple brown shoes.

Ray O'Light

Heartful Tribe

"Ray O'Light. In contrast to Drizzelda, he is very outgoing and confident. He has the power to bring sunshine with him, which effectively neutralizes Drizzelda's powers, creating clear skies and rainbows." 153 said. "A very peculiar fact of interest: Despite their mirroring personalities and powers, the two of them appear to be a couple."

"So why are they on opposite sides of this place?" Eddy asked.

"Uh…Double teaming strat?" Amethyst suggested.

"That, or we've found ourselves in the middle of a lover's quarrel." Lancer said.

"I certainly hope so. The last time we ran into that, I had quite the feast once we helped them patch things up." Chrysalis said.

"You know it wasn't that long ago, right?" Jude asked.

"Yes, I know. But it was worth it." Chrysalis said.

"(Sometimes, it's easy to forget she used to be our enemy, and then she says things like that.)" Princess Twilight thought to herself.

"So, are we ready to land and begin our search?" Cap-P asked, getting nods in response. "Onward then!"

The group landed on the rainy side of the land, disembarking with their raincoats on (or ignoring the fact that they were getting wet at all, in some cases).

"So, any idea where we should start?" Scarlet asked.

"Uh…I believe I have an idea." Double D stated as he pointed ahead, where two men were sword fighting each other.

One, who seemed to be on the defensive, was a man with unkempt black hair, a chinstrap beard, and blue eyes, dressed in a red and black vest with chainmail on the arms, black metal gauntlets, knee guards, and a black hooded cape.

The other, attacking the mysterious man aggressively, was a man with long silver hair and blue eyes who wore pale blue armor with gold, yellow, and white details, a horned helmet, and a yellow cape.

"Damn you…what madness takes hold of your mind?!" the man with the beard demanded of his opponent.

The armored man said nothing, only a look of bloodlust in his eyes.

"The knight that man is defending himself against… Isn't that the Warrior of Light?" Garr asked.

"The helmet is different, but there's no doubt he's similar to the one from Lann and Reynn's world." Ace said before looking at the man. "That man though…" he said before he held his head in pain as he saw images of a familiar fire Eidolon, and an unknown female humanoid garuda.

"Well, that look Light's eyes are more than enough proof that he's not himself." Carmine pointed out. "He's gotta be Inspirited!"

"Checking it out right now." Sunset said, shining the light of the Yo-kai Watch on the Warrior of Light to show a figure holding a cursed blade and ragged cloaks.

Snee

Brave Tribe

"That's a new one!" Frosta said.

"That's Snee. He's a Yo-kai that wields a cursed blade. It makes him crave blood, so he sneaks up on people to get it." Sunset said.

"Guess he couldn't get the drop on that black-haired guy." Mark said. "C'mon, let's give the guy a hand."

"I'll go!" Flamberge instantly said, sprinting into action.

"Berge, what're you doing?!" Francisca said.

"I dunno! For some reason, it feels like I really wanna help that guy!" Flamberge said.

"I'll go back her up." Vargas offered, following after her. "I have the same feeling too."

The man continued to be on the defensive, before noticing the two fire users charging behind the Warrior of Light. The man quickly took a step back before kicking his opponent, sending them stumbling right into the crosshairs of the two newcomers.

"There! Take their blood!" Snee said as the Warrior of Light swung his blade at the two fire wielders.

"Oh, no you don't!" Flamberge said as she blocked the Warrior's sword with her own before giving him a big slash with a wide swing, making the Warrior stumble back. "Vargas!"

"Ragna Break!" Vargas called, executing a rising flame slash.

"Ugh…my…anemia…" Snee groaned before he collapsed as the Warrior of Light regained his senses.

"Ah…it's as if I've awoken from a living nightmare…" the Warrior said, before turning to face Flamberge and Vargas. "You both have my thanks. Were it not for you, I may have shed innocent blood."

"Hey, thank him too, he was the one who was stopping you from harming anyone else." Flamberge said, pointing to the black-haired swordsman. "You're a real hero for standing up to a Yo-kai possessed warrior, you know that?"

"...I'm no hero." the man said. "Crazy ass came at me with his sword drawn. I was defending myself."

"I apologize for my actions." The Warrior of Light bowed his head. "I swear, I no longer mean any harm to you."

"Apologies aren't necessary. Just glad you aren't acting under whatever the hell that was." the man said.

"It's called a Yo-kai." Mark said, as the rest of the group caught up to them. "Basically ghosts that possess people and make them do all sorts of things. We're actually looking for them, Mr…?"

"Clive Rosfield." the man introduced himself.

"Clive Rosfield…" Ace hummed. "A pleasure to meet you then."

"Alright Clive, bet you're probably wondering how the heck you ended up here, and where here is." ZS started. "Well-"

"Save the speech, I know where I am." Clive said. "I was brought here to help fix whatever the hell is happening here. Least now I know what's causing the problem."

"Oh, he must be a new recruit for the Warriors of Light…" SE remarked. "Well, as long as we have the same goal here, what do you say to the team up? You can roll with us for a while, and maybe even get a ride back to…wherever home for you is."

"I'm not against anyone helping me. But I'm not completely sure I can trust you all just yet." Clive said.

"That's fine with us. We just stay out of each other's way, and you've got nothing to worry about." David said.

"Fine with me." Clive said as he prepared to head out, before Flamberge and Vargas looked at him one last time.

"There is definitely something familiar about that guy." Flamberge said to the Ignis Warrior.

"Indeed." Vargas said.

"When I looked at him, I saw images of Ifrit." Ace said, approaching the two.

"He must be some kind of…vessel for a summon spirit or something." Sheena said.

"You sure, Sheena?" Genis asked.

"Yeah. It's a bit vague, but I heard about it in the research institute while I was still a fledgling." Sheena said. "There are some summoners that instead of calling upon the powers of summon spirits, absorb the spirits into themselves and transform into those spirits once they manage to take in enough mana. This technique is called 'priming'."

"Whoa, I've never heard of that!" Flamberge said. "So you're saying that if Vargas and I build up enough juice, we could transform into Ifrit?!" She then imagined herself transforming into Ifrit as her sisters were in the background in awe (in chibi form, of course).

"No, I don't think it works like that." Sheena said.

"Sheena is correct. Those with the ability to transform into Eidolons are called Dominants, and they get the power from their ancestry. Apologies, Flamberge." Rime said.

"Dang it!" Flamberge said crossly.

"Well…cheer up. You can always do something small…like I just did.' Jibanyan said as he came up, riding on a Chocobo.

"Where'd you find a Chocobo in your size?" Scarlet asked.

"Just happened. We're friends now. Together we're…Chocobonyan!" Jibanyan said.

Chocobonyan

Charming Tribe

"Well, that's one way to use a collab." Emo remarked. "First Baddinyan, then Thornyan, now this. Does this happen to you often?"

"Less than I want, more than you think." Jibanyan said. "I've been regaining a lot of forms on this trip. Jetnyan, Machonyan…hopefully Wondernyan is around the corner."

"He's a…cat of many talents." Sunset said, chuckling a bit.

"So, now that we've freed the Warrior of Light, we can figure out where to go next." Mark said, turning to said Warrior. "Before you got Inspirited, did you notice anything weird? Anyone not acting like themselves?"

"Garland was acting strange. When I was about to fight him…he said…'whatever'." the Warrior of Light said. "Garland would never back down from a battle, especially one with me."

"Yep, that's weird all right." Ed said.

"Where was this, exactly?" Y'shtola asked.

They entered a dark shrine on the sunny side where the dark lord Garland simply sat on his throne without a single care.

"Greetings, Dark Lord! We have come to face you in battle!" Sir Saiyan declared.

"Eh…whatever. Don't really care." Garland said.

Sunset narrowed her eyes as she shined her watch to find a mountain-like Yo-kai behind him.

Whateverest

Local Yo-kai

Tough Tribe

"Another Local Yokai. I didn't think it was a mountain though." Adora said. "Let's see… its name is Whateverest, and whoever it inspirits stops caring about anything. As a Local Yokai, it's based normally in Kyushu."

"If he's that carefree, I'm not sure he'll listen to us if we tell him to come with us or stop Inspirting Garland." Hope said.

"Then we're gonna have to motivate Garland." Sunset said. "Come on out, my friend! Calling Blazion! Yo-kai Medal…do your thing!"

Ladies and Gentlemen!

Introducing the Brave Tribe!

The sounds of drums echoed as a number of dancers wore headbands

The Bravery! The Bravery! The Brave will save the day!

"Blazion! Rar!"

"Blazion…give that guy some motivation!" Sunset said.

"Rar rar!" Blazion said as he went and Inspirited Garland.

"Wait…is Inspiriting the blood knight really a good idea-?" Penny started.

"What…this fire….burning inside me….yes! Hahahahaha! I know what must be done now! I'll shall claim all your heads!" Garland laughed as he stood up tall.

"Oh boy…!" Vashryon said. "Somebody should probably stop him!"

"Good idea!" Eddy said, pushing the Warrior of Light up. "You two have fun, we're gonna head out, bye!" he said as he dashed out the door, grabbing Whateverest's medal on the way. "RUN FOR IT!"

"I will never forget your bravery!" Warrior of Light said as he and Garland clashed.

"Well, not exactly how I planned it going, but it worked out." Sunset said.

"We have to be more careful when we work on fixing the villains." Pearl said.

"I'll admit that one caught me off guard, but yeah. These villains could be made even more dangerous." Sunset said. "Next up, FF2 to fix…" she said before she saw a fancily dressed man with multiple weapons approach her. "Firion. Uh…nice to…" she said before he pushed her. "Hey!"

"Sorry sorry. I'm so sorry." he said.

"No, he is not." Y'shtola said. "This one is Inspirited."

"Kinda suspected that, but thanks for confirming it." Sunset said as she scanned Firion, revealing a yellow papery Yo-kai with multiple arms.

So-Sorree

Mysterious Tribe

"So-Sorree. He's a Yo-kai that offers nothing but false apologies." Sunset said.

"Sounds like quite the annoying guy to have around." Lei said.

"How do we get rid of him?" Mark asked. "Fold him into a crane?"

"Hey, I'm right here!" So-Sorree yelled.

"Oh, I'm sorry, didn't know you couldn't take what you dish out." Mark said, not sounding sorry at all.

"Hey! False apologies are my thing!" So-Soree said.

"Doesn't feel good being on the receiving end, does it?" Weisz asked.

"Wow…that…that stings." So-Sorree said depressed as he fell lifeless on the ground as his medal rolled out.

"Well, that's one way to trounce him." Sunset said.

Firion shook his head as the Inspiriting wore up. "Ugh…what was I doing?" he groaned.

"Best not to think of it. Take it your enemy, the Emperor, is also acting strange?" Sunset asked.

"Uh…yes. He's acting more of a tyrant than usual." Firion said.

"As if that is even possible." Scott said.

"Believe me… It's possible, as horrible as it sounds." Firion said.

"Could you perhaps lead us to where he is?" Y'shtola asked.

Firion nodded as he led the group into a palace that looked to be made of crystal. They soon reached the top as numerous crystal formations littered the area and at the end of it was a man sitting on a crystal throne, he wore golden armor with purple and rose-colored robes that have four portions: two connected on each side, and a raised collar and extended striped epaulets. His hair was blond and spiked varying from gold to platinum, with an extra-long ponytail, and purple ombre at the tip of the side bangs. His head is adorned with tiny colored jewels, along with four long golden purple-tipped spikes atop his head. Black and white stripes trace his ribs on his chestplate, and demonic looking faces embellish his waist and back. His gauntlets sport extended claws, and he wore purple makeup along with a purple and gold crown depicting a serpent.

"Such evil energy…" Thorani said.

"That is the Emperor." Firion said. "He's always been a tyrant. But he's even more of one."

"Yeah…and I know why." Sunset said, shining the light to show a large rat wearing a crown and belt.

Tyrat

Shady Tribe

"There's your answer. That's Tyrat, he's a self centered Yo-kai who believes the world revolves around him and him alone." Sunset said.

"Boy, does that sound familiar?" David asked, gritting his teeth at the thought of Theodore.

"So? How do we get him off?" Glimmer asked, knowing that it would be a little hard fighting the Emperor, as he was the Final Boss of Final Fantasy 2.

"Well, if Tyrat is extremely self-centered…. Then maybe he won't stand it if there's someone even more important than who he's Inspirting." Adora said.

"Oooh, that's an idea!" Hiyoko said, turning to Tyrat. "Hey, Tyrat! Out of every villain in the Final Fantasy universe, why did you choose that guy to Inspirit? He's not even the strongest villain in the franchise!"

"What? Of course he's the strongest! Look at how regal he is! This guy commands respect! His name is literally the Emperor!" Tyrat replied.

"Except… No, he isn't. Kefka and Sephiroth are the ones people talk about." David said.

"What do that clown-faced idiot and shirtless pretty boy have that this guy doesn't?" Tyrat asked.

"Well, for one thing? Sepiroth can call down meteors from the sky." Glimmer said. "Plus, when he made his appearance as part of his announcement for Smash, you wanna know the first thing he did? Effortlessly slice Galeem in half."

"Kefka destroyed the world and became a god, just by moving a statue. Need I say more?" Mayumi added.

"What? But…they look so frail!" Tyrat said.

"Oh… That's exactly what they WANT their enemies to think." David said. "Another tidbit about Sephiroth… He ain't exactly human. And let me blackpill you here. Nothing this guy does is gonna save him from a couple of sadistic psychopaths that only wish to see the world burn. Okay, technically Kefka is the sadistic psychopath while Sephiroth is more of a…"

"Sociopathic, mass murdering edgelord with mommy issues?" Emo suggested.

"Uh, yeah. But my point of seeing the world burn still stands." David said.

Tyrat was silent for a moment before he came to a decision. "If that's the case…then maybe I'll just go Inspirit one of them!" he said, canceling out the Emperor's Inspiriting as he prepared to bolt, only to be grabbed by the back of his belt by Chocobonyan. "Hey! Put me down you…c-c-cat?!"

"Nya?" Jibanyan said as the rat went and passed out.

"Nice going, Jibanyan!" ZS congratulated him. "You earned a Chocobar for that one!"

"Yes!" he said as the Emperor was starting to come to. "We should go before he decides to go full bloody emperor on us."

"Roger that. Exit stage left!" David said.

After escaping the Emperor's castle (and parting with well wishes from Firion) the group headed back out to find other Inspirited warriors.

"2 Games down, 14 to go." Chiaki said. "We might be here awhile."

"13, actually. Clive seemed like he wasn't possessed." Scarlet corrected.

"Plus, Y'shtola is still with us." Sachiko said.

"Yeah but there's…oh…look!" Sunset said as they saw a small boy in strange armor. "The Onion Knight."

"Is that his real name?" Kieran asked.

"Not…necessarily. Technically, Final Fantasy 3 had a sort of Class System going on." David said.

"You mean they don't just grow 'em in patches?" Sans asked in a joking manner.

"Oh ha-ha, I'm sure he's never heard that one before." Double D deadpanned.

"Hey, can I…huh?" Sunset began as she got close to the knight to see him putting on layer after layer of fur jackets.

"So cold. Gotta get warm." he said.

"This seems familiar. Wait…" Sunset said as she shined the light to reveal a small shivering dog made of ice.

Pupsicle

Charming Tribe

"Oh hey, its Pupsicle!" Ibuki remembered.

"Huh, so this is what happens when Swelterrier spends too much time with Blizzaria." Moltar remarked.

"Actually, Pupsicle's a different Yo-kai than Swelterrier." Hope said.

"It makes you feel cold and shiver, even though it's warm." Sunset said.

"Shame he decided to set up shop on the sunny side." SE pointed out. "If he'd been in the rain, he would've been harder to find."

"Anyway, we should probably get the little guy away from the Onion Knight." Sunset said.

"I got it." Natsu said as he went and turned up the heat as Pupsicle went and ran. "Wow…ran away just like last time."

"Yeah, cause he doesn't wanna melt!" Sunset said as she collected the pup's fallen medal.

"So who is the Onion Knight's…" Ruby began as they saw a feminine figure descending from the sky.

"Her…the Cloud of Darkness." Sunset said.

She descended before the group as they tensed up, preparing for her to attack...

"So…let me…tell you about what happened with Ifrit the other day. I mean, for a fire elemental, he has no idea who to keep from going out in a shower, I tell ya what." she said. "And then there was this time with Shiva. Talk about a chick with a frosty attitude." she said as she was going on and on.

"Huh?" Sunset said as she shined the light to show a yellow creature with a big nose.

Babblong

Slippery Tribe

"Well that makes so much more sense. Babblong makes anyone he Inspirits complete chatterbox's who never stop talking." Lucy said.

"Yeah, it's actually a bit off-putting." Sachiko said.

"Yeah, it's annoying. Sometimes, half the stuff Babblong yammers about isn't even true." Hope said.

"So, how do we get him to stop making C.O.D talk?" Akane asked.

"Punch him in the face?" Mark suggested.

"Don't you mean nose…cause most of his face is nose." Arven said.

"Good point." Mark acquiesced as he proceeded to punch Babblong in his nose.

"Ow…now why would ya do that, huh?" Babblong said. "Though it does remind me of this other time some guy punched my nose. He was so strong and…ah!" he said being punched again.

"We do not care." Mark stated plainly. "Oh, forget this." he said as he picked Babblong up, turned him upside down, and shook him until he medal came out. "There, medal." he said, picking it up.

"Blunt, but it works." Hope said.

"Honestly, I was like five seconds away from doing the same thing he did." Catra said. "Except instead of giving him an oversized bloody nose, I would have clawed all over his nose and peeled it like a banana."

"Anyway, I think now is a good time to bolt." Sachiko said.

"Why?" Rainbow asked as darkness started to gather. "Right, incarnation of darkness is no longer a chatterbox." she said as they dashed for it.

"All right…that's three generations so far. Next is, Final Fantasy 4." Sunset said.

"Yeah… Cecil and Golbez, if I remember right…" David said.

"I mean you should. It was a big part of your origin story." Sunset said.

"We know them so well. If there was anything strange going on with those two, we'd instantly know about it." Flamberge said.

"Although, with how vigilant they are, I'm not sure either of them would let any Yo-kai near them. I mean, Cecil was there when we first met Teguriginal." Mayumi said.

"Anything is possible with how topsy-turvy everyone else has been so far." David said.

"Like that?" Nemona asked, pointing to Cecil acting high and mighty while Kain was dressed in white armor.

"Uh… Yeah, like that." David said.

"Seems like Kain is here too." Rachel said.

"Let's see what we've got this time."

Revealed next to Cecil was a small Yo-kai in a sort of yoga position and hovering over him while Kain has a samurai Yo-kai holding a golden blade.

Yoganalisten

Mysterious Tribe

Gleam

Brave Tribe

"Well, the Yo-kai does fit Kain at least." Ross said.

"That's Gleam. It's a Yo-kai that wields a holy sword blessed by the gods." Sunset said.

"Makes sense since he was a Holy Dragoon last we met him." Shuichi said.

"What about the other one? The one with Cecil?" David asked.

"Yoganalisten. A yoga practicing Yo-kai that makes you act incredibly selfish and only think about yourself." Sunset said.

"Okay, totally doesn't fit Cecil at all. That tears it. We're getting these guys off." David said.

"David, the way Cecil is acting now seems familiar, right?" Tenko asked.

"Yeah… It's like the time we fought his Dark Knight self during the Maenads' invasion." David said. "Only Rosa and Ceodore aren't here to snap him out of it this time."

"Can't you do it? You're his friend." ZS said to David.

"Yeah. I'll do what I can." David said.

David soon approached Cecil, the Lunarian noticing him right away.

"Oh! David, I thought I saw you wandering around here." Cecil said. "Listen... I've got a good idea! Don't you think it would be great if I expanded my rule from Baron and took over this realm?" Cecil asked.

"Cecil, that kind of talk isn't like you." David said. "Think about Rosa, and Ceodore. Do you think they would want to see you like this?"

"I would think they would be very proud of how amazing I have become." Cecil said.

"But Cecil, this kind of idea is why you left the Red Wings, because Cagnazzo manipulated the people of Baron into invading other territories!" David said. "The Cecil we've come to know is a kind and noble knight and king that would never have such an idea cross his mind."

"But now I am focused only on my own priorities and selfish desires. I will do all I must to…" Cecil said before he suddenly snapped out of it. "Huh? What happened?"

"Oh…nothing much." David said, putting Yoganalisten in a choke hold. "Guy is a fighter, I'll tell you that much. Guys, how is Gleam?"

"Oh…it's…surprisingly easy." Jexi said as Gleam had collapsed.

"Whoa…you took him out?" Mayumi asked.

"Not exactly. He tripped when he went to draw his sword." Jexi said.

"Cecil, where is Golbez? We know he is somewhere in this realm." David said.

"You…probably don't want to see him." Cecil said.

"Let me guess. He's been Inspirited too." David said.

"Uh…actually." Cecil said as he led them to where Golbez was, who was currently bedridden.

"Ah…my damn back!" he cried.

"Whoa, what happened to him?" Mayumi asked.

"Hmm…I have an idea." Sunset said, shining the light showing a large bulky Yo-kai with a red head.

Agon

Shady Tribe

"Agon…he's a Yo-kai that causes extreme back pain." Sunset said.

"Really? I couldn't tell just by looking at him." Zephyr said.

"Well, I guess we'll just have to do something about that." Sister said, using her Heal Atomizer on Golbez and Agon.

"You really think your healing abilities will work on someone who's Inspirited with back pain?" Mai asked.

"It might not work on spirits, but when it comes to humans and mechanical beings, I can heal them up in a snap." Sister said.

Sure enough Sister's power worked, as Golbez rose out of bed, fixed up and ready to go.

"That should make him over power that big head's influence." Sister said.

"Feeling better now, Golbez?" David asked.

"Yes, thank you. That healing magic of yours is quite something." Golbez said to Sister.

"Yeah, it's pretty damn impressive, isn't it? But there's a little caveat. I can't heal someone too much."

"Why's that? First I've heard of your abilities having a limit." Ragna said.

"If I heal someone too much, they'll end up hurt instead." Sister said.

"Yeah, we wouldn't want that. Especially Golbez. He may be on the side of Chaos in this realm, but he is still a friend to us, after all." David said.

"Our thanks for ridding us of those spirits all the same, David. I should have been more vigilant." Cecil said.

"Don't beat yourself up too badly. You aren't the first to get blindsided like that, and you won't be the last." Mark said.

"Yeah, these Yo-kai have been causing trouble everywhere lately." David said.

"Heck, the other warriors are Inspirited as well!" ZS asked. "Speaking of which, did any of you happen to notice anybody acting weird before you got out of sorts."

"Yes…that fellow Bartz is acting strange." Cecil said. "He seemed to have gained the ability to read minds. I had assumed it was a ploy of an enemy, but knowing of these Yo-kai…"

"Yeah, that definitely sounds like an Inspiriting. We should check it out. It was really good to see all of you again." David said.

"Indeed, take care on your travels." Kain said.

The group ventured across the divided land, before they came across Bartz, the protagonist of FFV. He wore a blue sleeveless shirt, gray pants, pointed boots, a golden spike on his left shoulder and a flowing cape.

"Hi…we are…" Sunset started.

"Here to ask me about anything strange, am I right?" Bartz asked.

"Talk about Deja vu." Ragna said.

"Hmm…" Sunset said, shining the light to show a dog like Yo-kai with 3 eyes.

Espy

Mysterious Tribe

"Espy…she's a Yo-kai that reads minds." Sunset said.

"So she…" Hope said.

"Knows what you are going to say next. Yes I do." Espy said.

"So, is that like your only thing, you finishing other people's sentences for them?" Sans asked.

"I do more than that. I know you're thinking of having a bone to pick with me." Espy said.

"...Oh, she's good." Sans remarked to the others, as they all collectively sweatdropped.

"There's gotta be a way to beat her." Eddy said.

"I got one." Sunset said as she grabbed Mineta and pointed him at her.

"What, you think pointing this….ah!" Espy cried out. "Horrible…filthy…shouldn't even exist!" she said as she then fainted.

"Yeah…thing is…she can't turn off her mind reading powers." Sunset said.

"And Mineta's mind is so dirty that she couldn't stand it." Sero said.

"...Okay, you are absolutely right about that, but you don't have to say it." Mineta replied.

"But it's the truth, isn't it?" Kokichi asked.

"We'll apologize to her later." Mark said as Bartz shook off the Inspiriting. "And our hero awakens."

"Yes…it would seem so…wait, where is Exdeath?" Bartz asked, looking around.

"Oh no… Should we be worried about who is Inspiriting him?" David asked. "Because as soon as he isn't Inspirited anymore…"

"So…this is where you are." a voice said as they saw a man in cyan armor looking at them. "Yes! I am totally the king of finding people!" he bragged.

"...I don't see much of a difference, honestly." Scarlet admitted.

"Yeah…and I feel he's only this way cause…" Sunset said as she shined the light and revealed an old red skinned man with a fan behind his head.

Papa Windbag

Eerie Tribe

"Oh, him…" Hope said, remembering when Nate summoned him against Cap'n Crash.

"You know him?" DW typed.

"Yeah, his names' Papa Windbag. He's kinda like Babblong, but he brags about everything." Hope said. "No matter how small or mundane."

"And I'd imagine as much of a pain in the neck to listen to." David said.

"A pain? Well...I am the king of being a pain in a neck!" Papa Windbag said.

"That's not really something to be happy about…" David sweatdropped.

"Don't bother. He'll brag and exaggerate over anything." Sunset said.

"So how do we deal with this old fart?" Ragna asked.

Makoto then suddenly had an idea. "Hey Windy. You talk a big game, saying you can be the king of anything you set your mind to. Well…I'm the Queen of being a fighter."

"What? You're lying right now." Papa Windbag said.

"Oh…and can you prove the stuff you're saying is true compared to mine?" she asked.

"Er…." Papa Windbag said as he stammered.

"I see…he can only exaggerate, he can't lie." Sheer said.

"Ugh…" Papa Windbag said as he fell down in defeat.

"Done and done." Makoto said, picking up Papa Windbag's medal. "Though we should probably get out of here now."

"Right." the group said as they took off.

"That's five games so far. Next should be Final Fantasy 6." Sunset said.

"Let's see… David was playing the game in Kadic's Rec Room. I know the final boss was Kefka… but who was the hero that opposed him?"

"Terra. Terra Branford." David said. "A human/esper hybrid."

"Esper, like a psychic?" Hope asked.

"No, like a summon spirit." Sheena said.

"Wait, just as humans mate with beasts, they can also mate with espers?" Trish asked.

"Yep. Mother Nature is quite the mad scientist." David said.

"I think I see her." Nami said as they saw a woman with light blonde hair further ahead.

"Interesting. The protagonist of Final Fantasy 6 is a female." 2B said.

"What, you think all the games had male leads?" Akane said.

"There is me, from the 14th iteration, and Lightning from the 13th. So I'm told." Y'shtola said.

"Yeah, male leads are so commonplace that female leads are always a curveball. Sounds kind of sexist, if you ask me." Tenko said.

"No, it isn't, Tenko. It's just an unspoken gender rule that works with female leads tend to subvert. Does that make sense?" David asked.

"But the later games had a female lead alongside the male lead right?" Rebecca asked.

"Well, if said work allows you to have a customizable avatar, then… You can pretty much go whichever direction you want." Sachiko said. "But back in the day, female leads are quite rare and hard to come by. Terra ended up being the first to break that mold."

"Just in…no one really cares." Terra said, approaching them. "So…for that long winded talk…I challenge you two girls…to jump into the river while being inflicted with frostbite.' she said cutely.

"Huh?!" some of the group thought.

"Oh boy…" Sunset said as she shined the watch to show a blond-haired girl in pigtails in a cute dress.

Demandi

Charming Tribe

"A cute girl?" Akane asked.

"Demandi. She always makes impossible challenges and dares of anyone she asks." Sunset said.

"Impossible? I'd say it's more life-threatening. Who'd want to jump into a river while frostbitten willingly?"

"That's where the thrill comes from." Demandi said laughing.

"Let that girl go." Jexi said.

"Never gonna happen. I'm pretty comfy where I am right now." Demandi said.

"Oh, is that right? I'm betting you can't go a day without inspiriting-" Hope started.

"Let me stop you right there. You wanna challenge me to a challenge to try and get me to leave her." Demandi said.

"How did you…" Hope said.

"You're not the first to try that stunt and I can promise you won't be the last. I do the daring, not you." Demandi said.

"Fine…give us a challenge then." Hope said. "And not one involving frostbite or river jumping."

"Hmm, you're no fun." Demandi said as she looked around. "Ah…see that guy over there?" she said pointing to a man in a blue bandana carrying knives.

"That guy. His name is Locke, if I remember right." David said.

"Yes, that's right. The challenge is simple. Walk over to old Locke…and stick your fingers up his nose…for a full minute." Demandi said.

"Okay, that sounds kind of gross." Mayumi said.

"Plus isn't that guy supposed to be an assassin?" Sunset asked.

"Well he's normally a thief but he's called an assassin here, and yes he is." Demandi said. "And that is the danger element."

"Well, if that's what it's gonna take…" Hope said.

"Hope, think about this, she's setting us up. If any one of us tries what she wants us to do, were dead." Adora said.

"Yeah, but I've gotten used to being the butt of the joke at this point, so… Just this once, I may as well embrace it." Hope said.

"You're actually gonna put yourself in serious pain?! This I gotta see!" Demandi said as she got out some popcorn.

Hope then walked over to Locke and prepared to go through with Demandi's challenge.

"(Even if I get sent into these situations on a whim, it's not like I'm defenseless. If Locke puts up a fight, I can fight back." Hope thought. "(But the whole point is to stick them up and take it for a minute. So let's hope he's the forgiving type after this.)"

Hope soon got near Locke and prepared himself. Hope prepared to stick the fingers in only for Locke to suddenly bend backwards and it to miss.

"Huh?" Hope said as he kept trying as Locke was moving awkwardly.

"The heck? Wait…" Sunset said shining the light to find a small furry creature with three long pink hairs.

Snaggly

Slippery Tribe

"Snaggly…they make who they possess move awkwardly." Sunset said.

Hope had a hard time hitting his target, what with Snaggly making Locke move so awkwardly. But eventually, he was able to figure out the pattern and find his opening.

"I'm not too proud to do this, but…there!" Hope said, finally jamming his fingers up Locke's nose.

Locke looked right at Hope with a glare as Hope gave an awkward smile.

One minute later…

Hope came limping back with a knife in his side.

"Wow…I'll be honest, I did not think you'd actually do it." Demandi said.

"I never go back on my word. And you…" Hope said.

"Fine. Since you actually did the dare, I'll leave this girl be." Demandi said.

"Good. Now, Chopper…I'm gonna need first aid." he quickly said as he removed the knife as the reindeer quickly went to work on him.

"Well, that's Terra out of the way. Now we just need to figure out if Kefka's inspirited or not." Adora said.

"Do we even want to find out? The guy is a demented psychopath WITHOUT a Yo-kai." David said. "I don't think any of us are willing to go anywhere near him."

"He's got a point." Weisz said. "And would any Yo-kai be stupid enough to try and go for that clown face?"

"Uh…I hate to be that guy but…" Jexi said pointing to the clown-faced psycho who's back was bent over and wiggly.

"I stand corrected." Weisz said.

"We'd better get this over with quickly. I don't want to have to deal with Kefka any longer than we have to."

"All right." Sunset said as she went to work and uncovered a Yo-kai with a bent over back.

Ben Tover

Eerie Tribe

"That's Ben Tover. From the name, you can clearly see what he does." Hope said.

"So all that Yo-kai does is… make people bend down to impossible angles?" Bow asked.

"According to the records, he makes his targets not get to the point of a conversation and talk about something else." Mari said. "But if someone calls on his ability, their bodies get stretched and wiggly just like his, like what we're seeing right now."

"...Are you sure we can't just leave him like this?" Carmine asked. "It'd probably be an improvement."

"Though he might still have his maniacal tendencies regardless." Weisz said.

"This is a bit hard. What should we do?" Happy-2 asked.

"Correct his posture, I guess…?" Penny answered.

"Don't look at me. I've reached my limit of stupid decisions today." Hope said.

"It should probably be someone who could hold their own against him." Mark pointed out.

"From what we've seen in Final Fantasy 6, he's a spellcaster, but his attacks are so erratic they're difficult to predict." Rebecca said. "We just need someone who does the same."

"If you want erratic, then look no further than Lumpy here." Eddy said, gesturing to Ed. "Up for the challenge, Ed?"

"I am!" Ed said, running over to be behind the mad clown, before wrapping his arms around his torso. "Fixing!" Ed declared as he squeezed Kefka several times, a cracking noise being heard each time until he set the clown down, his posture back to normal.

"I don't think any of us will be able to unhear that. But nice job, Ed." Al said.

"To the victor, the spoils will smell!" Ed said, picking up Ben Tover's medal.

"Splendid work, Ed! Now all we have to do is…" Double D started as Kefka flew up into the air and summoned multiple projectile spells. "Ah…yes. Avoid that."

"Run!" Klonoa called as the group zipped out of there.

After managing to escape the mad harlequin's maniacal magic, the group soon themselves at a factory-like area on the rainy side that many of them found familiar from the Ultimate Smash Battle.

"This place…Midgard?" Y'shtola asked.

"Yep. So we already know who we are going to run into here…" Mayumi said.

"Cloud and Sephiroth. Those two just could not avoid each other, could they?" David asked.

"Those two are not the only ones here, I sense a third as well." Y'shtola said.

"More than likely Tifa." Jude said.

"So you've finally made it." A voice said as the group looked up to see a shadowy figure standing on top of a railing. "At long last, you've reached the critical point: 2D to 3D. And for that…I can finally reveal myself."

"And who is 'myself', if I may ask?" Pearl asked.

The figure jumped off the railing, landing in front of the group. They then stepped into the light, revealing…

…A cat yo-kai with small wings, white fur, and a pom-pom on their head. "Me, kupo! Mooglenyan, at your service, kupo!"

Mooglenyan

Charming Tribe

"Hi there, little guy." David said.

"A cross between a Cat and a Moogle? That's… kinda cute." Himiko said.

"Yeah, I'm not even bothered by there being ANOTHER Nyan, this one is adorable!" Carmine smiled.

"We actually run into a lot of them, now that I think about it." David said.

"I'm glad you're here now, having finally reached the realm of the 7th, kupo! And not a moment too soon! Something's wrong with Cloud, Tifa, and even Sephiroth, kupo!" Mooglenyan said.

"Well, whatever they are being affected by, I'm sure we can handle. We're quite familiar with the three of them." Frosta said.

"Well, then this will really be a shock, kupo! Cloud and Tifa are fighting each other!" Mooglenyan explained. "At first, I thought they were sparring, then they started pulling out the Limit Breaks, kupo! And Sephiroth isn't taking advantage of it at all! He's just laying on the ground and not moving, kupo!"

"Cloud and Tifa fighting no holds barred, and Sepiroth not taking advantage of the chaos? That definitely screams Yo-kai, for all three of them." Adora said. "We'd better check things out and see what we're dealing with."

They ran over to where Cloud and Tifa were fighting it out.

"Let's see what we're dealing with." Sunset said, shining the light to show a stag beetle and a rhinoceros beetle going at it.

Beetler

Brave Tribe

Rhinoggin

Tough Tribe

"Beetler and Rhinoggin. I should've known." Sunset remarked. "Those two are always fighting each other to see which of them is the Bug Yo-kai King."

"Ah…the age-old battle of what is better. Stag beetles or rhinoceros beetles." Miles said.

"Yes, though their choice of hosts is quite concerning." Kirumi said.

"Yeah, Cloud and Tifa are among the strongest fighters gathered here. It's not gonna be easy getting them to stop." Leia said.

"Then what do we do?" Klonoa asked.

"If we can't stop Cloud and Tifa directly, then maybe we can get Beetler and Rhinoggin's attention so that they can unpossess both of them." Adora said.

"And how do we do that?" Amethyst asked.

'Yeah, those two seem really focused on each other." Ruby said.

"I got an idea." Scarlet said, clearing his throat. "You know, I don't understand why these two are fighting. After all, everyone knows that the best kind of beetle is the Hercules beetle! Am I right, Gonta?" he said, elbowing Gonta.

"O-oh, yes! Hercules beetle very strong, capable of holding thousand times own body weight. Hercules beetle definitely strongest beetle out there!" Gonta said.

Hearing this, Beetler and Rhinoggin stopped making Cloud and Tifa fight and turn to the group. "What did you say?!" they both asked.

Seeing what Scarlet was up to with Gonta, Flamberge decided to play along. "Yeah! Hercules beetles can do things Stags and Rhinos can't do! They're really strong, like Gonta said. Stag beetles can't carry things like they can. Anything their pincers get a hold of is bound to be snapped in half! And all Rhinos can do with their horns is dig holes in the ground!"

"Oh you are asking for it now!" both beetle Yo-Kai said as they rushed at Gonta only to be suddenly electrocuted and collapse.

"Word of advice: Don't ever rush head on to a group of people who have human Bug Zappers for friends." Scorpia said, as she was revealed to be one of the shockers, alongside Kaminari and Nami.

As soon as both beetle Yo-Kai passed out, their Inspiriting wore off on Cloud and Tifa.

"What happened?" Cloud asked.

"Cloud? Were we… fighting?" Tifa asked.

"It…would appear so." Cloud said, seeing his sword close to Tifa's neck.

"And I guess you were almost about to win." Tifa said.

"Yeah, sorry…" Cloud said.

"Phew… they're back to normal. It's a good thing Sephiroth wasn't able to take advantage of that chaos." Glimmer said.

"Um… About that…" Cloud said, pointing to the swordsman in question who was in a full body cast.

"Whoa..how did…" Sunset said before shining the light as she saw a large skeleton with a single eye.

Sad To The Bone

Tough Tribe

"Whoa! Who's Big and Bony over there, and why is Sephiroth so beat up?" DW typed.

"According to the data his name is… Sad to the Bone." Entrapta said. "Anyone Inspirited by him has their bones become so brittle, that they'll break from the slightest touch."

"Jeez. Talk about a bad draw for Mr. Superior DNA, huh?" DW typed.

"Hush, Dark Water. Not exactly helping. Even on his worst days, he's still a very strong fighter." David said.

"Though the fact that his bones are practically glass now does put a hamper on that." Kurochi said.

"So… should we leave him like that?" Scorpia asked. "I mean, I know he's not the most popular guy around, but if we get Sad to the Bone to leave him, we might end up with a meteor dropped on us."

"No, he's not like Kefka. He's much more methodical than that." David said. "Plus, Zoro did beat him during the Ultimate Smash battle."

"Well, first we gotta figure out how we're going to get Sad to the Bone away from him." Mark said.

"Yeah…this one may be tricky." Sunset said. "Hey uh…will you leave him?" she tried.

"Not until all 206 bones in his body are broken." Sad To The Bone said.

"Uh…how many are broken?"

"205." he said. "He's still got a pinky toe bone intact."

"Okay…I know how to solve this." Inosuke said, grabbing a hammer and smashing it on Sephiroth's right foot, causing the swordsman to cry out in pain.

"Uh…it's actually the other foot." Sad To the Bone said.

"Oh." Inosuke said doing it to the left foot.

"And that's a full on break. My work is done. Thank, pals." he said handing them his medal.

"Was that really necessary, though?" Sachiko asked.

"It's Sephiroth." Emo pointed out.

"Quick question: how long would it take for him to heal from all those broken bones?" Kieran asked.

"'Bout an hour or two." Sad to the Bone said. "The man's built different."

"There is a good reason for that, actually." Mayumi said.

"We'd…best get outta here before he heals up." Catra said.

"Yeah. We need to go and find Leon next." Sunset said.

"You mean Squall, right? That's his real name." Sachiko said.

"Yeah, him. So, let's get moving." David said.

The group soon found themselves in a desolate field before a light surged around it as it turned into a field of flowers. As they explored, they soon saw a woman in said field picking flowers, alongside a small girl with cymbals in her hair and carrying a scroll.

Cymbalina

Classic Yo-kai

Charming Tribe

"Huh…that one isn't possessing her." Tanjiro said.

"Seems she and her are actually friends." Jexi said.

"Who is she, though?" Trish asked.

"I think her name is…Rinoa. She's Squall's love interest, apparently." David said.

"Though where's Leon? Isn't he…huh?" Sora said as they saw the swordsman in question in the distance, slumped on a stump.

"Uh…is he okay?" Lei asked.

"Absolutely not. Leon would never act like that." Donald said.

"Yeah, he may be mopey at times, but not to this extent." Sora said.

"I think I know why." Sunset said, shining the light to find an eggplant Yo-kai with a glass in hand. "Our culprit, an eggplant…or rather…Neggplant!"

Neggplant

Shady Tribe

"He makes the Inspirited engage in bad habits like drinking." Sunset said.

"Oh, now that's just wrong. Forcing people to become alcoholics?" Emo asked. "Who does that?"

"Neggplant does, I suppose." Alkal said. "So, do we detox Squall, or…?"

"We could always go for a veggie stirfry." Teruteru said.

"That's dark, Teruteru." Kendo said.

"What? Can't be the only one who thinks cookin' that thing would be a good idea." Teruteru said.

"I have a…less horrifying idea." Sunset said as she walked over to the Yo-kai and slipped something into his drink. He drank it down before passing out right on the ground. "And…done."

"What did you…" Applejack asked.

"Slipped a few sleeping pills into his drink." Sunset said.

"Yeah, that would do it." Mark said as Sunset picked up Neggplant's medal. "So, we freed Squall? Who's the villain of FF8?"

"Ultimecia." Rime said. "She is incredibly vile and wicked and…extremely grateful?" she said, seeing the villain in question thanking a few minions.

"She shouldn't be…nice." Sunset said as she shined the light to show a living mass of sand.

Danke Sand

Local Yo-kai

Eerie Tribe

"Another Local Yo-kai. He makes you so grateful, you can't be mad at the Inspirited." Sunset said.

"This certainly makes my Universal Counterpart very out of character." Rime said.

"Villains that show respect to subordinates are hard to come by these days." Tsumugi said.

"I'm with you there, most of the ones we run into are such hammy nutjobs 24/7, it's hard to get a calm response from them." David said.

"Is it fair to say we should leave her like that? I dunno if anyone would prefer her old self." Bow said.

"We have to get Danke's medal." Mark pointed out. "Sacrifices must be made...in this case, at least, we aren't killing anyone over it."

"He's got a point. Making friends is needed in order to power up the purification light." Sunset said as she approached Danke Sand. "Excuse me but…could you leave this woman be and come with us as friends?"

"Oh…how polite. Sure. I accept. Danke. Danke means thank you." Danke Sand said as he sank into the ground and vanished.

"And…run for your lives." Sunset said as they took off as Ultimecia regained her true self.

The next location the group arrived in was a castle town on the sunny side with a castle in the distance along with a large theater airship flying around.

"Where are we now?" Kaito asked.

"This is one of the main cities of Gaia, the realm of Final Fantasy 9. The Kingdom of Alexandria." Tsumugi said.

"It's beautiful." Kendo said.

"So, who's the main hero of this story?" Ragna asked.

"He goes by the name of Zidane. He's a member of a theater troupe." Tsumugi said.

"You have a lot of knowledge on Final Fantasy, Tsumugi." Genis said.

"Well, she and I are into games." Sunset said.

"And I'd also bet that it's part of her cosplay work." Sheena said.

"My Law of Cosplay lets me turn into anyone and copy their powers. I figured I'd need to store some characters from Final Fantasy in my law, just in case I need an extra boost in strength by channeling some of the series best known characters."

"No complaints here. With the abilities they have, you're spoiled for choice in that department." David said.

"Think you'll add that Clive guy to your arsenal? Turning into an Eidolon would be an awesome power to have, just saying." ZS stated.

"I'd have to see him in action before I think about that." Tsumugi said.

"Speaking of which, I wonder where he is. We haven't seen him since we arrived." Ace said.

"Well, he said he was brought here to fix whatever was happening here. Maybe he's going right for the biggest problem: the weird weather." Scarlet said.

"Possibly. Though the next time we do see him, I want to talk to him." Ace said.

"Autographs, right? I've managed to get all the characters we've met so far." ZS said, holding a small stack of autographs. "Don't ask me how, not even I know."

"I don't think we're going to, because we don't want to know." Mayumi said.

"Anyways…what's this Zidane guy look like?" Moltar asked.

"Like that." Tsumugi said, pointing to a guy with a monkey's tail.

"Heh…so jealous. Seeing you fly when I can't." Zidane muttered as he stared at a bird.

"Sounds like he's already under someone's influence." Sunset said, using the light to expose a small child-like creature with a shell on his back.

Wantston

Heartful Tribe

"So who is this?" Ash K asked.

"Wantston. He makes the inspirited jealous of everything, even negative stuff." Sunset said.

"Though why does he look like Grubsnitch?" Klonoa asked.

"That really isn't the main issue right now. Right now, we should be focusing on getting him away from Zidane." Sunset said.

"How? If we approach him, he'll just say he's jealous of something, but not actually do anything." Emo pointed out.

"Actually, there's a very easy way to beat him…compliment him." Sunset said as she went over. "Hi. You have a very nice shell."

"What? Uh…I uh…" Wantston said as he was caught off guard.

"And the way you stammer is pretty cool too." Sunset said.

"Please…please stop!" Wantston said as he ran off.

"Well, someone is the shy type." Himiko said.

"Remind you of anyone?" Eddy asked of Bernadetta.

"W-Well, I-I don't think I'm that much…anymore…" Berndetta said, adding the last part softly.

"Eddy…" Double D said.

"Hey, I'm easin' her into it! I've given worse to people my age!" Eddy said defensively.

"Well, we have liberated the hero of the ninth tale. What of their mortal enemy?" Sir Saiyan asked.

"He appears to be…distant." Sheer said seeing the villain, Kuja, just staring off into space.

"Hmm…" Sunset said as she uncovered a plain looking pink ghost.

Daiz

Slippery Tribe

"Who is that and why does that thing look like a-" Hyde started.

"Don't say it!" Entrapta said, slapping Hyde's mouth shut with her hair. "That's Daiz. He normally makes people space out. But there's a word that's completely forbidden around him, and if you say it within earshot of him, he goes into a fury."

"Oh, does he now?" DW typed.

"Don't even think about it, Dark Water!" Sakura said.

"Hey, I can't even speak, so if I type the word out on my phone, it doesn't count." DW typed. "Or at least it wouldn't, if I knew what it was."

"Well, if we don't know how to get Daiz out of poor Kuja, we might as well break for lunch. We've been at this for a while, and I'm sure a few of us are starving." Toriel suggested.

"Great idea, Toriel." Shirou said, pulling out a lunch box. "I've been working on some recipes including sausages, so-"

"Shirou, NO!" the SHS yelled in horror.

"Oh great… Now we're in for it…" David said.

"Grrr…how dare you utter that word in my presence!" Daiz said in full fury.

"Wait, that's his trigger word?!" DW typed in disbelief. "And here I thought it was di-!"

Daiz unleashed an evil aura that surged towards the group.

"Don't think we wanna be hit by that! Backpedal!" ZS said as the group backed off from the attack.

"Get back here and accept your punishment!" Daiz yelled as he chased after them, releasing Kuja in the process.

"Well, on the bright side, he's left Kuja alone!" Steven said as the group continued running.

"Yeah, but now he's chasing us! What did a pork product ever do to this guy?!" DW asked.

"Well, he does look like one, but yeah. Doesn't seem like anything to go full ham over." Scarlet said.

This sentence caused Daiz to stop in his tracks. "Ham…?" he said softly.

"Hey, he stopped!" Frosta said.

"Huh? Was it something I said?" Scarlet asked.

Then, to everyone's confusion, Daiz fell to the ground, crying. "I remember those days…we were all happy, working at the ham factory. And then…and then…they fired all my friends, and changed it into a sausage factory! I never got to see any of them again! And to twist the knife even further…when I died, I turned out like this!" he sobbed.

"What's he talking about?" Hyde asked.

"I think he's remembering when he was still alive." Rantaro answered.

"And from the sound of his tirade… He hated it." Tenko said.

"From what I can gather, he used to work in a ham factory as an inspector and everyone there was let go in a mass layoff except for him when it changed into a sausage factory." Sunset said.

"Yeesh… That would put anyone in a bad mood. We all heard of fates worse than death, but this? I think he would rather have been let go too." Petra said.

Daiz continued to cry on the ground, before Sunset approached him and extended a hand. "Hey, it's okay. For what it's worth, you look more like a ghost than a…you know." Sunset said.

"That…that means a lot, Sunset Shimmer." Daiz said. "Let's be friends again." he said as he offered up his medal.

"You know, we've leaned more towards confrontation since we've gotten here, so it's nice to have a heartfelt encounter like this to break things up." Mark remarked.

"You'd be amazed at some of the lives these Yo-kai have led. Now come on. We still have a few more games to visit." Sunset said.

The group now found themselves on the beach of a large island.

"Ah, yes. Final Fantasy 10, considered by many to be one of the best in the series, on par with 7 and 8 in a lot of regards." Tsumugi said.

"And home to friends like Yuna and Tidus. How they are…" Kairi said as they saw the two in a field.

"I keep asking you to show me some care!" Yuna said in anger.

"I do care. Honest." Tidus said, his face showing a blank expression.

"Hahahaha! You really do not. You hate me!" Yuna said shifting from angry, happy and sad.

"Okay, this is a red flag." Sunset said, shining the light to show two Yo-kai: One was a pale boy with no face while the other was a yellow and purple jug like thing with smoke spewing from the top.

"These two. Faysoff steals your facial expressions, leaving you blank. And Reversa makes your emotions go haywire." Sunset said.

"Not a great pair to stick in a room together, huh?" Eddy asked.

"Nope. Especially if your relationship is complicated." Sunset said as they looked over to see an older man secretly watching the two argue.

"That's Jecht… O-ohhh, yeah. It's complicated alright." David said.

"Why? What does Jecht have to do with this?" Jesse asked.

"Jecht is Tidus' dad, and well…" David said. "Let's just say Tidus kind of has a bone to pick with him."

"But it was mended in a way near the end of the game they're from." Shiki said.

"And he's…writing something down?" Rainbow said.

"This just in: Yuna and Tidus are heading to Splitsville. Better line up cause these kids are about to be available." Jecht called out.

"What the heck?" Ajna asked.

Sunset shined the light to reveal a blocky humanoid Yo-kai with a megaphone.

Mr. Blockhead

Tough Tribe

"Mr. Blockhead. He's the one behind a number of rumors a number of people happen to hear." Sunset said.

"Though with rumors, they tend to spiral out of control." Rebecca said.

"Around girls normally." Twilight said. "The rumors become distorted and twisted, after that, you never know what the original might have been."

"Well, if Mr. Blockhead has nothing to broadcast, then he might leave Jecht. And Reversa is making Yuna upset about Tidus seemingly not caring, which is Faysoff's fault." Kieran listed off. "So, our first priority should be getting Faysoff out of Tidus."

"Any ideas?" Hapi asked.

"I got one." Sunset said as she went and summoned a pot between the two Yo-kai.

"Huh?" both pondered before leaping out of it was Urnaconda as the two fell over in sudden shock.

"Well that works." Weisz said, picking up their medals. "Now for the blocky gossiper."

"Hey, what gives? I had a goldmine going!" Mr. Blockhead said.

"Sorry, but you shouldn't mess around with true love." David said.

"Who cares about true love? Everyone loves gossip and rumors." Mr. Blockhead said.

"Yeah…why don't you look at what happened to old Bobby Blabby." Eddy said.

"Bobby…oh yeah. You're the idiot who got sent to the knitting club. Hahaha. I spread rumors about you for months." Mr. Blockhead said.

"Yeah, I remember. I had to knit the world's largest doily because of that. I actually got it right here." Eddy said (a bit too kindly, the others noticed) as he pulled out an oversized, poorly knitted doily. "Here…have a closer look at it!" he said, bringing it down.

"...Oh boy." Mr. Blockhead realized as he was smashed by the mass of the doily, his medal rolling out from under it and coming to stop at the group's feat.

"...You know, I think doilies are starting to grow on me a bit." Eddy remarked as the group retrieved the medal.

"Onto number 11." Simon said.

"Yeah… 11 is a bit of a weird one." David said.

"How so?" Gallantmon asked.

"It's an MMORPG, so it doesn't really have a designated hero." David said.

"I thought 14 was the MMO?" Hope said.

"Nah, 11 did it first. To…mixed reviews." Sachiko said.

"Then who's the representative of 11?" Axl asked.

"It would be Shantotto and Kam'lanaut." Sheer said.

"Isn't Shantotto that pigtailed girl we saw on Grymoire?" Stahn asked.

"The very same." Sheer said.

The group soon went to the next location as they found themselves in a large circular room.

"All right…this is it…this is it…I'm all in!" Shantotto said as she was gambling on a roulette wheel.

"Hmm…" Sunset said as she shined the light to find a ball shaped Yo-kai.

Ballin

Charming Tribe

"A ball?" Ajna asked.

"Ballin. As the name suggests, they make you go all in with your money and items." Sunset said.

"So a gambler then?" Shantae asked.

They soon heard the door slam open as a man entered clad in knight's armor.

"Kam'lanaut!" Tsumugi said.

"How fare thee this day, fair citizens. All is well within the realm?" he asked.

"Alas, spirits run rampant, possessing mighty warriors of both Harmony and Discord." Sir Saiyan said. "We must locate those possessed by them and unshackle them from the grasp of the Yo-kai."

"...You know he doesn't usually talk like that, right?" Tsumugi pointed out.

"He doesn't?" Mark asked. "I'm not even sure we've met this guy before, who is he?"

"He's one of the villains from FFXI." Sunset said. "And he's greedy, not valiant." she shined the light before she unveiled a cat wearing knight's armor.

Sir Nyansalot

Brave Tribe

"Good day to you, fair heroes. So nice to be in the presence of true knights." Sir Nyansalot said.

"Are you Sir Nyansalot?" Klonoa asked.

"Indeed I am. I was just teaching this ruffian the error of his ways." Sir Nyansalot said.

"I…see. Uh…good…good job." Pit said as some of the heroes smiled awkwardly.

"Yes. But now, I see an even greater quest beckons to me." Sir Nyansalot said.

"So you've heard." Mark responded with a serious tone.

"Yes. A Yo-kai has been informing a number of others of what is going on. The brave Hovernyan." Sir Nyansalot said.

"Hovernyan? He's trying to spread the word about Kelly and the Yo-Kai Alliance?" Hope asked.

"Yes, that's right. You are familiar with him?" Sir Nyansalot asked.

"Familiar? We know him! All too well, in fact." Hope said. "He actually took an interest in me when I wanted to become a hero. And he used to travel with us as part of the team. Is he…on this world right now?"

"As far as I know, he is still on this world." Sir Nyansalot said.

"Then we should hurry and get to the others before we go finding him." Hope said as he quickly knocked out Ballin and claimed their medal.

"Well luckily, there aren't a whole lot left." Sunset said.

"Next up would be FF 12. Don't know much about that one." Mark admitted.

"Some of the beings I have summoned originate from the world it is set in." Rime said.

"That must mean you know a bit about its world's inhabitants." Jesmon said.

"Yes. The hero's name is Vaan. He is an orphan that lives in the city of Rabanastre in Ivalice, where two empires waged an endless war for power." Rime said. "He along with five others, one of them being the princess of a kingdom, helped put an end to it by defeating the man who caused it."

The group then found themselves outside in the square of a very large cathedral as several airships were seen flying in the sky.

"Oh, there's the fantasy part." Carmine said in understanding.

'We were always in the fantasy part. You just needed to know where to look." Jexi said.

"Now, to find this Vaan guy. Oh…I think that's him." Natsu said as they saw a shirtless young boy ordering around a man clad in black armor as well as another man with blades floating around him.

"Okay, the young guy must be Vaan, he's got the hero look down…who are the other two?" Penny asked.

"Gabranth and Vayne. They're two of the villains." Sunset said. "But…they wouldn't be taking orders from Vaan." she said as she went and shined her light. Near Vaan, she found a red snake with a paddle fan for a tail. Near Gabranth was a flying green bird and near Vayne was a twisted looking girl with a diary.

Copperled

Slippery Tribe

Flumpy

Foiletta

Eerie Tribe

"This scene seems… pretty weird." Glimmer said.

"That's because Vaan is being possessed by Copperled. He makes people extremely bossy and has them take charge without listing to opinions from anyone." Hope said.

"Flumpy there makes people awkward and uncomfortable. Foiletta curses anyone whose name she writes in her diary." Sunset said.

"I get it… Vaan is being possessed by Copperled and is made a ruthless leader, while Gabranth is acting extremely awkward around his new boss, and Vayne is cursing the new regime." Adora said.

"Uh…almost all right." Sunset said as a lamp nearly hit Vayne. "He's…the one that's cursed."

"Okay…" Adora said.

"This is so surreal. How're we supposed to convince a Yo-kai micromanager to stop being in charge?" Emo asked.

"I mean, we could just punch him." Undyne said.

"That would be the easiest method. Doesn't even look like he's paying attention to us at all." Twilight said.

"Alright then." Mark said as he walked up to Vaan. "Excuse me." he announced himself.

"What do you-" Vaan started before Mark punched him in the face, knocking him down. The angel then grabbed Copperled by the neck.

"Medal please." Mark said.

"You don't give me-" Copperled started before Mark shook him hard, causing the Slippery Tribe Yo-kai to get dizzy.

"Now." Mark repeated, before the Yo-kai weakly presented his medal. "Thank you." he said, dropping Copperled unceremoniously.

"Well that's one way to do it." Hope said as Flumpy and Foiletta looked at the angel in shock.

"If you don't want this to happen to you, you might want to hand over your medals too." David said, as the two female Yo-kai quickly did so.

"You…really don't need to use me as a threat." Mark said with a sweatdrop.

"I know, but if it's any consolation, a few others were thinking about it too." David said.

"Well, that's Final Fantasy 12 down. Next up, 13!" Rainbow said. "Finally, we get to go help one of my favorite Final Fantasy characters of all time: Lightning!"

"Ah, yes. The mixed bag." Tsumugi said.

They hurried over to the next location where they saw the pink haired warrior being interrogated by a blond man.

"It's Lightning and Snow." Rainbow said.

"But why's Snow grilling Lightning like that? Sure they had their differences, but eventually they became cool."

"It was a very long road getting there, though. And…usually it's the other way around. Lightning's usually the one grilling Snow when his escapades backfire on him." David said.

"Admit it…you are the culprit who cut those soldiers." Snow said.

"Come on. You know me. I would never." Lightning said, not really looking that innocent.

Sunset shined her watched as she unveiled a red tree sparrow with a sword and a ibis wearing a top hat.

Liarbird

Brave Tribe

Professor Plumage

Mysterious Tribe

"The sparrow is Liarbird. I think you can guess what he does." Sunset said.

"Oh yeah, it's completely obvious." Kokichi said.

"And the other is Professor Plumage." Sunset said. "He makes you act like a detective."

"Huh. Snow Villiers, Private Eye…nah, I can't see it." ZS shook his head.

"Yeah, it's obvious Liarbird is the one who cut the soldiers Professor Plumage is making Snow talk about, but he's trying to take the heat off himself by pinning Lighting with the blame." Mermista said.

"Yeah, Liarbird loves to cut lots of things and that usually ends him up in trouble." Pinkie said.

"I'll fix this." Mermista said, walking up to Professor Plumage.

"May I help you, Young Miss?" he asked.

"Yeah. I came to tell you that Liarbird's the one who cut down those soldiers snows talking about, not Lighting."

The two Bird Yo-kai looked in shock.

"Stupid, you gave away the game!" Liarbird said.

"I think we're missing something here." David said.

"Quite…this was a reenactment. We were trying to do this by the book. But…seems that is not happening now." Professor Plumage said.

"Yeah, Mermista is always the type to jump into these kinds of things bull-horned. I blame her leader's influence on her, honestly." David said.

"Wait, so you two aren't…y'know, bitter enemies, or anything?" Amethyst asked.

"No, just two birds with an interest in mystery." Professor Plumage said.

"Mermista, I think it might be best we let this play out to its conclusion." David said.

"No no, it's fine. We were about finished anyway." Professor Plumage said.

"Oh…sorry. Here, let me get that hat for…" Mermista said as the professor stopped her.

"No no. As a great man has said…a gentleman never removes his hat." Professor Plumage said.

Liarbird and Professor Plumage handed their medals over to Sunset.

"Geez…. How was I supposed to know it was a reenactment and not a real crime scene?" Mermista asked.

"I admit it was a bit confusing. But you really shouldn't have just went in and tried to correct the detective." Sunset said.

"It sounded pretty convincing to me!" Mermista replied.

"Mermista, no offense… But maybe you should leave the detective work to the professionals." David said.

"Hmm…I will get in the detective game…" Mermista muttered.

"Still, what was with that quote the ibis gave?" Shuichi asked.

"Hmm…it's weird but it feels like I've heard that one before." Aelita said.

"Same here." Dan said.

"Did Layton say that a lot?" Hope asked as the answer dinged on a lot of the group.

"Ah yeah. I forgot about him…man…it's been so long since we last saw him." Jexi laughed.

"But how could Professor Plumage know one of his famous lines? I mean, it's not like the Profs a Yo-kai or anything…right?" Hope said.

"Don't go that route. I'm sure he's probably a fan." Odd said. "Still, one of these days, we should go back and do a check up."

"Yeah…but for now…we still need to save the last of the warriors." Jexi said.

"Yes…but…I must ask…is that really what you want?" Y'shtola asked.

"Y'shtola?" Ace asked.

"Something is wrong. Sunset, shine a light on her. I have a bad feeling…" David said.

"Right. Just in case." Sunset said as she revealed a small blond fox behind the girl.

Krystal Fox

Charming Tribe

"You gotta be kidding me. When was she inspirited?" Scott asked.

"Oh, I've been inspiriting her since you all got here." Krystal Fox said.

"But how?" Al asked.

"I've got the ability to read minds and reveal a person's true intentions…just like a real idol would." Krystal Fox said.

"Wait a minute…if you've been possessing Y'shtola since we got here, then that means she's one of the warriors of Harmony." Scarlet said. "So…where the heck is her counterpart for Discord?"

"Ah, Y'shtola, there you are!" the group heard a voice say as they saw an armored man holding a large sword revolver that held three katanas approaching.

"Zenos yae Galvus." Ace said, summoning his sword, having been told about him by Y'shtola a while back.

"Yes…and my new power will make it easy for me to slay you." Zenos said as he held his swords like some of the heroes would.

"Is he…." Sunset said, shining the light to reveal a white mannequin.

Mimikin

Tough Tribe

"It is my disciple, Mimikin!" Robonyan F said. "My, he's really improved. Now he can copy fighting styles. I am so proud."

"Yes…except for the minor detail that he's helping a guy who wants to kill us!" Carmine argued.

"Well we'll just have to put a stop to that then." Yuri said.

"Yeah…let's cut this guy down to the ground." Zoro said.

(Cue- Torn from the Heavens (FF14)- Dissidia NT)

"Let us embrace violence together!" Zenos said.

"You can copy our sword techniques all you want, but do you know how to use them the right way?" Gemini asked as the battle began and the group clashed blades with Zenos.

"So how're we supposed to know what style Mimikin will make Zenos copy?" Makoto asked.

"Well, considering this guy's got three, he'll likely copy Zoro at one point or another." Ragna said.

"Just be ready when he's about to use a technique and act accordingly." 2B said.

"Coming through, Coming through!" Mimikin said, while waving his arms, which made Zenos first adopt Inosuke's Beast Breathing stance.

"Looks like he's gonna use one of Inosuke's moves." Gouto said.

"Beast Breathing…1st…" Zenos began before the group saw Zenitsu swiftly cut him down. "Ah….Ah…" he muttered before collapsing.

"This…is the price to pay…for being said by Nezuko before me." Zenitsu said.

"Oh yeah. Inosuke taught her his name before Zenitsu." Jexi said.

"Yeah, and Zenitsu looks like he miiiight be a bit jealous." David said.

"Wow, I guess even when he's not asleep, Zenitsu can be pretty badass." Ajna said.

"Yeah…about that…" Dan said as they looked at Zenitsu.

"Nezuko…let's go on a picnic…in the cherry blossoms." he muttered in his sleep.

"What?! He's still asleep?!" Ajna exclaimed.

"Like, what were you expecting at this point?" David asked.

"Nevermind then." Ajna sweatdropped.

"Wow…didn't see that coming." Krystal Fox said.

"So…you wanna leave our friend be or…" Jexi said as Krystal Fox handed over her medal. "Thank you very much."

Mimikin of course did the same since Zenos was taken down.

"I doubt it would have been that easy if he were himself." Jexi said.

"But now there is only one game left." David said.

"Oh yeah, the road trip episode!" ZS said.

"Road trip…?" SE asked. "We go from saving the world from the forces of darkness, to going on a road trip… What even is this series anymore?" he asked.

"Hey, Noctis still saves the world. He just… needed some time to adjust to his role as being the next king of his world." David said.

"Well…I say we go see him." Jexi said.

The group soon arrived in a courtyard in front of a large citadel.

"So, you guys keep mentioning this Noctis guy. But what is he even about anyway?" Lei asked.

"Believe it or not, what David said is true. He's supposed to be a King." Hope said.

"He's the Crown Prince of Lucis, and he had the destiny of saving his world of Eos from eternal darkness. Something about becoming the "True King" and using a crystal to do it?" Zephyr said. "I dunno, we've never met the guy once, so we don't know much about him."

"Is he a lazy guy that sleeps?" Happy asked as he pointed out a guy in black sleeping on the ground.

"Maybe he's just taking a nap?" Asia pointed out.

"Just in case…" Sunset said as she shined the light to reveal a small pig in robes and a hat fast asleep.

Slumberhog

Local Yo-kai

Brave Tribe

"Aw, it's kinda cute." Frosta said.

"That's Slumberhog. He's constantly asleep and makes those he inspirits do the same." Sunset said.

"So…what should we do? Should we try to wake either of them up?" Makoto asked.

"That… would be bad." Hope said. "I've heard waking Slumberhog up is a bad idea."

"Why's that?" Angie asked.

"You know the saying there's two sides to every coin? Well when anybody is stupid enough to try and wake him up, Slumberhog changes into Snortlehog, and he shifts from being asleep, to making sure whoever woke him up stays up." Hope said.

"Well then, how're we gonna get the medal?" Eddy asked. "It's not like we can just swipe it off the guy…wait, can we do that?"

"I mean, as long as we don't wake him, suppose we could." Sunset said.

"Yeah…it would take something big to…" Hope said as a thousand lights suddenly lit up. "Oh now what?"

"Aren't we all…gorgeous today?" a voice said as a man in black was seen walking down the path.

"Ardyn Izunia. Figures we'd run into him here if Noctis is around." David said.

"This darkness I sense from him…it's insane." Ace said.

"Yeah…but it seems like it's being interfered with." Mark noted. "Sunset?"

"Yeah, I'm on it." she said shining the light to reveal another extravagant man behind him.

Gorgeous Ambassador

Merican Yo-kai

Shady Tribe

"Wait, his name is literally Gorgeous Ambassador?" Catra said as she checked the files on him.

"Talk about a literal convention. What does he do, make things stunningly beautiful?" Scorpia asked.

"I make them…gorgeous!" Gorgeous Ambassador said, his light starting to blind most of the group.

"Ah! Hey, turn down the lights you idiot! You're making us go blind here!" Ragna said.

"What? Are you that scared of being…gorgeous?" Gorgeous Ambassador asked, shining more brightly.

"No, it's just if you turn the brightness too high, you might end up waking-" Glimmer started.

Sumberhog then suddenly opened his eyes as they turned red as the pig quickly bulked up and drew two swords.

Snortlehog

Local Yo-kai

Brave Tribe

"Oh, crap…" Hope said.

"You woke me up… now I'm gonna murder you!" Snortlehog cried out as he chased around Gorgeous Ambassador.

"...And the problem solves itself." Asgore said. "I do hope that fellow will be alright."

"Eh, he's got diplomatic immunity, he'll be fine." Issei said.

"Yeah…" Sunset said.

It wasn't long before both Yo-kai tired themselves out as the group collected their medals.

"Now…we need to deal with the twin towers." Sunset said.

'Huh? Hey, you guys! Look!" Kaminari said, pointing to the sky.

The group looked up to see the sunny side moving towards the rainy side.

"That's not normal."

"Ray O' Light must be making his move on Drizzelda." Hope said.

"But the last time we saw them, they were a happy couple. What could be going on with them that caused them to inhabit separate towers on this world?" Ichiro pondered.

"Why don't we see what's up." Jexi said.

They raced over to where the towers were and saw two boys and two Yo-kai fallen on the ground.

"Huh? Who are…wait. Ramza from FF Tactics and Ace from FF Type 0." Sunset said. "And these two…" Sunset said, seeing a sword wielding Yo-kai and a Yo-kai in a bamboo hat.

Sheen

Chansin

Brave Tribe

"These two are…they were warriors for the Harmony faction. So…" Sunset said as she looked ahead. "The tower! Hurry to the tower!" she said as they ran inside.

Scaling up the tower, they saw Materia and Drizzelda looking at Spiritus and Ray O'Light.

"So…it all finally ends here." Ray O'Light said as he and Spiritus moved towards the two women.

"Hey!" Hope said, making Ray O' Light stop. "What's goin' on with you Ray? You'd never hurt Drizzelda, you love her!"

"I want you to stay out of this Hope. We may be friends…but this is a personal matter. One no one can interfere with." Ray O'Light said as he stood before Drizzelda.

The group stood there with the tension rising. Soon…things finally reached a head.

'So…this is it. Drizzelda…after so long…I got one thing to say…" Ray O'Light said before he got down on one knee and held open a ring box. "Will you marry me?"

This made almost everyone in the alliance fall over in a massive facefault.

"THAT'S WHAT THIS IS ABOUT?!" a number of them shouted with white eyes and shark teeth.

Hope sighed. "Ray…you're a hopeless romantic." he smiled.

"What? After all this time my sweet Drizzelda and I were together, you really thought I would kill her? Give me some credit." Ray O'Light said.

"I…I….yes." Drizzelda said as she took his hand.

"Been waiting for so long, baby." Ray O'Light said.

"Glad you tied the knot all the same, Ray. Still, didja have to go this far just for a proposal?" Gemini asked.

"It was in a magazine. Top 100 crazy ways to propose." Ray O'Light said.

"So…Inspiriting two gods, and having a bunch of other Yo-kai do the same to the heroes and villains in Final Fantasy was in that magazine?" ZS asked. "...I gotta get me that magazine." he added, earning a few odd looks. "For the laughs at the insanity, dudes."

"So…I guess our work here is done?" Rin asked.

"There's still Hovernyan to find." Hope said before they saw something crashing through the wall. This something was a blue cat in a red cape. "Hovernyan!"

Hovernyan

Brave Tribe

"Hope…run…I'm being…" Hovernyan said as something large burst through after. This something being a large three headed monster.

Slimamander

Boss Yo-kai

Shady Tribe

"Slimamander!" The Dimensional Heroes cried out.

"Where are they?! Where are those two?!" Slimamander demanded, before seeing Materia and Spiritus in the room. "Aha! There you are!" he said, stomping towards them.

"Let me guess, from your first visit to Springdale?" Mark asked.

"Yeah. He was sealed under the school. If Venoct hadn't helped us…" Sunset said. "But…we've grown since then. We…we can take this guy!"

"No matter what, whatever he wants with those two gods can't be good…" the half-angel added. "Alright guys, let's go!"

"Here's a helpful tip. He's constantly switching the heads that have his mouths and eye. His eye is his weak spot." Sunset said.

"I'll get his attention." Glimmer said, teleporting in his line of sight. "Hey Slimy! Over here!"

"Huh? Who're you?" Slimamander asked.

"I'm a friend… of Sunset Shimmer." Glimmer said.

"What?! She's still active?! I heard she was broken!" Slimamander said.

"(So he joined with…no…he's probably being controlled.)" Sunset thought. "(But it looks like we can still save him. I've seen what you become in the future. You aren't a bad Yo-kai. So…I'll save you!)"

"I don't know what you're all still doing making friends with Yo-kai, but I'm after those two gods. Don't get in my way!" Slimamander declared, his two mouths going for the gods. "It's time to eat!"

"I don't think so!" Catra said as she and Izuku struck the two heads as Glimmer moved the gods away from the beast.

"Hey, wait! Bring them back!" Slimamander commanded as he regained his composure and slammed his heads down, attempting to crush the two heroes who struck him.

"No way!" they both said, striking at the head with the eye, causing the Yo-kai great pain.

"Yow! Alright, that's it!" Slimamander yelled, his mouth head charging up a blast of fire. "Slimy Fire Breath!"

"That's our cue!" Mermista said as she, Noelle, Lapis, and Juvia blasted their water attacks just as Slimamander used his attack, water meeting fire and the former winning out as always.

"Rotten…no good…Triple Trouble!" Slimamander said, swinging all three of his heads at them.

"Deluge!" Ace called, Brave Shifting with Lexida in its Chakram form as it floated in front of him as an astral projection of Leviathan appeared in the open center of it and fired a powerful stream of water from his mouth.

"Huh?!" Slimamander said as he was pushed right into the wall by the water pressure. "Not good!" he said as they all closed in and walloped him as he collapsed to the ground.

"And that is the end of that." David said.

Ace let out a small sigh of exhaustion as he reverted back. "Definitely."

"Dude, that was awesome. I didn't think you could push him back like that." Rainbow said.

"It's something that Rime has been helping me practice." Ace said. "Channeling part of an Eidolon's power into one of my Celestial Arms that matches their element."

"Well it is definitely paying off." Jexi said.

"Thanks." Ace said with a small blush.

Sunset approached as she dug through Slimamander's slime before finding his medal. "Ugh…gross…but got it."

"Still, that was a thing to go through just for an engagement proposal." David said.

"Oh, come on. You had some fun in this place, and you know it." Ray O' Light said.

"...I won't deny it." David said.

"It was an interesting experience." Y'shtola said.

"Plus, you got to see Cecil and Golbez again. That brought back some fond memories, correct?" Leopardmon asked.

"Yeah. It sure did." David said.

"And it wasn't just them. We got to see a lot of Final Fantasy alumni as well." Tsumugi said. "We pretty much lived the dream of every Final Fantasy fan."

"So true. And with all the problems…we've gone up to 308 different Yo-kai in the ranks." Sunset said.

"We sure have." Hope said as he ran over to Hovernyan. "You okay?"

"Yes. I am fine." Hovernyan said.

"What's going on, Hovernyan? Why was Slimamander attacking you? Better yet, why was he so interested in kidnapping Materia and Spiritus?" Hope asked.

"He was likely being controlled by the Yo-kai Alliance and wanted those gods for their unlimited power." Hovernyan said.

"These guys do like to think big. They dont just want Yo-kai for their grand plans, they want godly power too." Hope said. "And Kelly hopes to capture Enma so he can use him for… something. What's their endgame?"

"It's hard to say right now. We can only go by what we already know until we find new info." Ace said. "By the way, Hovernyan, did you happen to run into a swordsman named Clive while you were on this world?"

"You mean Clive Rosfield? He is the latest hero in the long line of Final Fantasy." Hovernyan said. "He would never say that he is, at least, not at this moment. Why is he of interest to you?"

"We ran into him when we first got here, and there was something Vargas, Ace and I found kinda familiar about him." Flamberge said. "We learned he was a Dominant for Ifrit."

"But…that's impossible." Hovernyan said. "There are only 7 dominants in the world that he comes from."

"It did feel like Ifrit that I sensed within him, but he wasn't the only one." Ace said. "I saw Garuda as well."

"Maybe he's like you, Ace? Y'know, able to harness the power of multiple Eidolons at once?" Flamberge asked.

"Possibly. Though I hope the next time we meet him, it will be on his world." Ace said.

"Yeah, I wanna see him again too." Flamberge said. "I just know there's something about him that screams 'hero' and I wanna find out what it is. What about you, Vargas?"

"I agree. Whoever he is, he feels like someone that we should help support." Vargas said.

"Yeah, something tells me deep down that I want to help him to the best of my ability." Ace said. "But for right now, we have to focus on this mission."

"In that case, we must head for Master Nyada." Hovernyan said.

"The old cat?" Hope asked.

"Yes. He has begun hosting a tournament in order to lure in Yo-kai. An all female fighting competition." Hovernyan said.

"He's not a pervert is he?" Rebecca asked.

"No, he's not. In fact, Master Nyada is very reliable. The last time we faced off against Dame Dedtime, he helped us out a lot." Hope said.

"Still though, an all female fighting tournament?" Shantae asked. "Not that there's anything wrong with that."

"Looking it up…ah…here. The Femme Fatales. Featuring female fighters from 5 of the highest fighting franchises: Street Fighter, Tekken, KOF, Mortal Kombat and Dead or Alive." Jexi said, looking it up on the Zikan Phone.

"Oh man… Some of the Tekken girls are part of my agency. I hope none of them are a part of it." David said.

"Uh…yeah…about that." Jexi said showing Xiaoyu as one of the Tekken reps.

"Oh, you've got to be kidding me…" Mayumi said.

"It says there are still two slots open for fighters." Jexi said.

"In that case, I will compete against these ladies." Lei said.

"That's perfect, Lei." Hope said.

"So who's taking the last spot with her?"

"Right. We need two." Jexi said.

"Allow me." Elisabeth said.

"A kind offer but it says all the reps for KOF is filled and they won't allow anyone else from there." Jexi said.

"How unfortunate. But I suppose it is for the best." Elisabeth said.

"Besides, I actually had someone in mind." Jexi said. "Ranma, you're fighting."

"What? Uh…you know its girls only right?" Ranma asked.

"Yeah…I know." Jexi said, holding a bucket of water.

"Oh… right." Ranma sweated, knowing what Jexi was planning.

"Well, been nice knowing you." David said.

"You make it sound like I'm about to die!" Ranma said.

"Not physically. But your dignity, yeah, good luck trying to salvage it." David said. "Kind of makes me glad that Tenko or Setsuna isn't competing."

"I mean, Mortal Kombat is involved, so…" Tsumugi said.

"Okay, okay, I get your point." Ranma said. "When this is over, dude, I'm kicking your ass…As a girl!" Ranma said.

"I've got no shame. Do you know the kinds of girls I have to deal with?" David asked.

"Touche. Probably sounded better in my head." Ranma said.

"In any case, we've got our reps ready, so let's head on over." Sachiko said.

"Yeah…its time to fight." Ranma said.
