Prologue: Keybearer and Goddess of the Sky

"I guess my power isn't needed."

"What do you mean?"

On top of a building with a huge number 104 on it, were two young men who were battling just a second ago. These two young men were Sora and Yozora. Yozora claimed he was sent to save Sora, and started to attack Sora. Sora won using his main weapon, Kingdom Key, a keyblade. Fighting Yozora had to be one of the most challenging fights Sora ever had to go through. Yozora was a hard person to counter, and keep track of. Even finding the slightest opening was challenging. Yozora even had the power to absorb his keyblade. Countering with spells without his keyblade was hard since Sora never had to do that before, but he managed. Yozora's hand started to dissolve into a blue light as he looked at Sora one more time.

"Never mind." Yozora gave Sora a small smile before he was enveloped in a blue light causing Sora to cover his face. As the light started to fade, Sora looked up to see that he was back in The Final World.

"I'm back here." said Sora, unsure what to do now. Could he be disappearing next? If so, where would he go? Will the others be able to find him? So many questions with no answers to them.

"That was an impressive fight, Sora."

"Wha-?" Sora looked around only to see he was still the only person here. "Is someone here?"

"Don't be alarmed." The voice sounded like it belonged to a female. It sounded soft and soothing like it was assuring you everything is going to be okay. "I'm a friend."

"A friend?" A ball of light came down from the sky and positioned itself in front of Sora's face.

"Not many people can keep their body in this world. You were the first I've seen in a long time that has been able to do that." said the floating ball of light.

"Who are you?" Sora tilted his head in confusion. This didn't look like one of the stars from his last visit.

My name is Aidios. Sora, I've been watching you. You have one of the bravest hearts, I have ever known. The lengths you would go for the people you love is admirable, and you also lend a hand to people you don't even know.

Sora scratched his cheek as a small blush spread across his cheek. "I just do what any other person would do. Nothing too special I think."

Aidios giggled. "I should add humility to that list as well. I can see why the keyblade picked you, Sora."

"You know about the keyblade?" asked Sora

"Yes. Some keyblade masters have visited my world before. Though it's been a long time since one visited." explained Aidios. "A keyblade wielder, light or darkness, is chosen by the keyblade as long as the wielder has a strong heart. They bring balance to the worlds and do not meddle with the affairs of other worlds." Sora looked surprised. Not many people know the duties of a keyblade wielder or its legends.

"Wow, you really know your stuff." Sora chuckled.

I had a friend who was once a keyblade wielder. He would explain to me how it all works, though I haven't met a keyblade wielder of darkness." commented Aidios.

"Trust me, they're out there." replied Sora, thinking of Xehanort.

"I'll take your word for it." said Aidios. But, Sora, there is a reason why I came here to you."

"There is?"

"Yes. You see, I came from a world called Zemuria. It is a world housed by many nations with different cultures, and ideals. Some are larger than others, and some are small. Each with their own story." explained Aidios.

"Woah, I would love to go there." said Sora with a smile.

"You might be able to," said Aidios, "Sora, would you like to leave the Final World?"

"Huh?" Sora was a bit surprised by Aidios asking that out of nowhere. "I mean yes, I do, but how?"

"I can help you get out of here." said Aidios.

"You can!?" shouted Sora with a giant smile.

"Y-yes, b-but I can only lead you to my world, Zemuria. I can't lead you to a world I have no knowledge of." explained Aidios.

"Oh." That slightly lowers Sora's cheerfulness, but at the end of it at least he's getting out of here! "But, why would you offer me an escape out of here?" Sora crossed his arms in confusion.

"In Zemuria, there is a nation called Erebonia that is heading into a dark future. That dark future could potentially cover all of Zemuria. Zemuria has a ton of heroes, and future heroes to aid it but-,"

"It wouldn't hurt to have a little help, right?" finished Sora with a smirk. "Sure I'll help your world out."

"You will?" question Aidios. "Even if I can't return you to your own world?"

"Yeah no worries. I'm used to stuff like this." said Sora as placed his hands behind his head. "Besides who knows what would've happened if I just stayed here. Sora tilted his head up a bit as he started to think. "At least I'll be surrounded by people. This world is beautiful, but also pretty lonely."

"Thank you, Sora," said Aidios. "You truly are a kind individual."

Sora gave Aidios a thumbs up. "No problem! So what exactly am I looking for in Erebonia?"

"A curse."

"A curse?"

"Yes, it's weak now. But it has been causing trouble for Erebonia, and other nations for a while."

"What are the signs of this curse?" asked Sora.

"It makes people…do things they wouldn't normally do, or change a person's personality. For example, make a brother and sister kill each other, or a hard working civilian robbing a bank etc." explained Aidios.

"Is it that bad?" question Sora, taken back especially at the part of a brother and sister killing each other.

"It's worse." replied Aidios.

Sora was shaken a bit hearing that. He couldn't imagine anything worse than that. "Anything else?"

"Know the curse prey on those with insecurities, hatred, envy, and even jealousy. So keep your heart strong!" Sora nodded. Keeping his heart strong, nothing new there. While his friends might not be with him physically, he knows they're with him within his heart. Plus who knows how many new friends he'll make in Erebonia! This curse doesn't have a chance to win!

"Don't worry Erebonia will be safe! I'll make sure of it!" Sora gave Aidios a smile, which gave the ball light assurances.

"Thank you, Sora. said Aidios as she started to glow brightly. "Are you ready?" Sora nodded as a bright flash engulfed him as he was prepared to go to Erebonia, but not before hearing Aidios's last words. "No matter what happens, Have faith knowing I won't ever regret asking for your help."

And thus a new adventure for Sora begins.

Legend of Heroes: Trails of Steel Hearts

Author's note: It's been awhile since I uploaded anything in Fanfiction. I've had this idea for awhile. I think Sora teaming up with Class 7 would be interesting. More so with Sora and Rean. I think those two will get along with each other. So I decided to take a shot in the dark, and write this story out. I actually had this prologue done for awhile. I wanted to save till I wrote more, but decided to at least post the prologue. I don't really have an schedule regarding posting, I'll post whenever I can. I think that works best for me or if I have one or two chapters already written. I don't know yet. But hopefully you guys will enjoy this story. Till next time!
