The Celestial Huntsmen Lord

And for those that have long since been following my Celestial Lord series, here's the last one as we start this new adventure.
Short little footnote for those that have been here from the start, I've decided to redact the original chapters, because while I had a middle, and end set up, I didn't had a start and the way how I started it wasn't working so yeah, retcon.
He had no idea how it all happened, since everything was happening all at once, team RWBY's fight against Neo, the evacuation of the citizens into Vacuo, Salem's invasion, it was all overwhelming.
But in the last minute fight between him, Penny, and Winter, against Cinder, Jaune remembered witnessing their deaths, before he himself presumably fell to the deep abyss ready to face his own death.
He was just tired at this point, and frankly speaking Jaune just wanted to escape this pain he felt when he was still alive.
And yet he couldn't.
Waking up, Jaune found himself on a long empty dirt road as he began to pick himself up.
"Where… am I" groaned Jaune as he looked around him.
"Ruby! Weiss! Yang!" cried Jaune as he got no one calling his name back.
"Blake! Ren! Nora! Oscar!" cried Jaune once more be he got the same results.
Not entirely sure what was happening, Jaune opted to follow this path, instead of standing around where he could be attacked by creatures of Grimm.
A good 20 minute walk by himself, and Jaune noticed that his surroundings were peaceful, like there was nothing creeping in the woods he was walking through.
However his moment of solace ended when he heard the cries of help from a distance.
Drawing his sword out, Jaune lifted his shield in hand and prepared to take on whatever danger may befall ahead.
To his surprise he saw an interesting sight, of 3 woman picking on a little girl.
The were 2 woman who looked alike, presumably twins as they were both wearing a black dress with a huge mid section revealing their inner cleavage down to their naval as they had red eyes, light lavender hair, a priests vail, and was carrying a menacing red on gold staff with a menacing skull on top with glowing red eyes; this was Dark Priest.
While the last woman had long red hair and blue eyes, wearing an armored evening wear dress as she had plating covering her entire chest, arms, and hips, as she wore long metal grieves and chocker as bits of her dress revealed to be yellow as she carried with her a great swords that had to be carried with 2 hands; this was Knight (Old).
As for the victim in question she was a little girl who wore a green on white dress with matching shoes, and nylon stockings, blonde hair kept in pigtails, amethyst colored eyes, and brown and green satchel with a potion hanging out as she carried with her a wooden watering can in hand; this was Petitrite.
"Well, well, well, look who we got here, if it isn't Petitrite" said Dark Priest #1, "It disgusts me that a maiden this weak is ranked hire than us" said Dark Priest #2.
"Let's get this over with already" sighed Knight (Old) as she began to lift her sword and approached Petitrite as the maiden couldn't move from her spot from the 3 maidens before her, but thankfully she had a knight in shining armor to her rescue.
"Hey, get the hell away from her!" shouted Jaune as he finally came running to protect Petitrite.
"What the hell, a human!" exclaimed Dark Priest #1, "More so, he's a male" said Dark Priest #2, "Ho, this just got interesting" said Knight (Old) as she eyed Jaune.
"Tell me stranger, are you perhaps the Celestial Lord" asked Knight (Old), "No, I'm a huntsmen, and it's my duty to protect those who can't protect themselves" said Jaune.
"While I admire your bravado, we simply can't let anyone who isn't the Celestial Lord walk these lands" said Knight (Old) as both Dark priest began to surround her.
"Come get some" taunted Jaune, as Knight began to attack Jaune, but with a lift of his shield and a quick parry, he was able to cut into Knight's (Old) side as the maiden fell over.
Seeing as he took out one of the maidens, Jaune was prepared to take on the 2 Dark Priest as they smiled at Jaune.
"Dark Mist" said Dark Priest #1 as Jaune was instantly covered in a dark mist, "What is this, your semblance!?" demanded Jaune as he felt a heavy blow to the back of the head, and another to the stomach as Jaune heaved over.
Maybe it was because he was just recently in a fight to the death against Cinder, but the hit Jaune had taken just now really hurt, like he felt he was drained of his aura and felt a solid blow to his body for the first time in ages.
"Ow" coughed Jaune as he struggled to keep his footing, "So you really aren't the Celestial Lord" said Knight (Old) as she was up and unharmed.
"H-how…" asked Jaune, "Your human attacks won't be able to harm any of us maidens, sad I know, but then again that's how our world works" said Knight (Old) as she gripped her great sword with both hands and began to swing it down, but Jaune rolled back in time towards Petitrite.
"Are you ok" asked Petitrite, "I'll be fine" lied Jaune as he felt he was fighting Cinder all over again, but back when he was a student at Beacon.
"I need you to run away, I'll hold them off, while you get help" said Jaune as he got back on his feet as he was prepared to die a hero's death.
Seeing how Jaune, an outsider and stranger is quick to defend her, Petitrite, couldn't stand and watch him throw his life away after he was willing to defend her.
Picking up her watering can, Petitrite approached the kneeling Jaune and began to pour the water onto his head.
"Holy Watering Can" said Petitrite as in an instant Jaune felt his aura replenishing, meaning his body was able to heal once more as he looked up to this young tween girl who was watering him like if he was a bundle of tulips.
"What just happened" asked a dumbfounded Jaune, "It's my unique skill, it let's me replenishes an allies skill point or cool down their skill point, in your case, it probably replenished whatever power fueled you" said Petrite.
"Thanks" said Jaune with a smile as he began to pick himself up and lift his sword, but felt Petrite tug the back of his sweater.
"You can't beat them, humans are unable to defeat Celestial Maidens" urged Petrite as Jaune heard another word that he needed an explanation on, at least at a later time.
"What can we do" asked Jaune, "We can run" said Petitrite as Jaune eyed the maidens before him and the maiden behind him.
"Not today" Jaune said to the god of death as he holstered back his weapon and shield before turning around and picking up Petitrite, princess style, and ran the opposite direction as fast as he could.
Thankfully the maidens behind them never chased after them as Jaune made a sharp turn into the woods, where Petitrite was finally put down and Jaune could catch his breath.
"Oh jeez" sighed Jaune as he felt Petitrite standing in front of him.
"Hello…" Jaune said awkwardly, "Thank you, for saving me" said Petitrite as she smiled at Jaune, making the boy not only want to protect her smile, but feel reinvigorated.
"It's my pleasure, I am a huntsmen after all" said Jaune, "A huntsmen…" asked Petitrite quizzically.
"Oh, it means I'm kinda like a super hero, a protector for the people and mankind" said Jaune, "Really? That's marvelous, we must tell the Oracle about this" said Petitrite.
"The Oracle? Who is she?" asked Jaune, "She's the woman who rules these lands, as she strives to keep the balance between us maidens, but…" said Petitrite.
"But what?" inquired Jaune, "But recently, she's been forced into conflict with the arch witches and any of the celestial maidens who choose to ally with her" said Petitrite.
Hearing this hit home with Jaune as up until recently he was fighting the evil witch Salem and her army of Grimm, with her most loyal followers, so hearing this once more brought back a lot of emotions and thoughts to the young huntsmen.
"Petitrite, any chance you can bring me to this Oracle of yours, I've got some questions I need to ask her" said Jaune with a serious expression.
"I can do that, please follow me" said Petitrite as she took Jaune by his hand and started leading him towards the Oracle.
Later
About a mile before reaching their destination, Jaune was amazed to see a large stone wall erected, before entering past the unguarded gates with Petitrite where they saw this kingdom was empty as no one was present or walking the streets and the buildings were empty.
Eventually they reached the center of town where a large water fountain had been erected, where Petitrite excitingly began to run ahead.
"Lady Oracle, I brought with me a guest" said Petitrite as she got the attention of 3 woman standing next to the fountain.
The first one was a young woman wearing a white dress with a large blue with gold trimming book on the left side of her hip as she had fair skin, blue eyes, and steal white hair as she wore a gold crown that remained afloat and inches from making contact with her forehead, as she was assisted by 2 drones that were combat ready; This was Oracle.
The second one was a teenage girl wearing a brown corset over a white button up and coal black skirt as she too had fair skin blue eyes, but had medium length creamy brown hair and safety glasses as she had a side ponytail held by a blue bow in a flower pattern; This was Alchemist.
The final one was a tiny woman who could fit in the palm of an average mans hand as she wore a florescent green dress with her skirt in a floral blooming pattern as she was able to remain up to eye level thanks to her butterfly wings, she had fair skin, pointy elf like ears, green eyes, and spring green hair; This was High Pixie.
"A guest you say" said Oracle as she gently tousled Petitrite's hair, before looking up towards Jaune.
"Yes, he was the one who saved me when I was attack by those who served the arch witches" said Petitrite, "Really now" said Oracle and Alchemist and High Pixie began to further inspect Jaune.
"Wow, we haven't had a human, much less a male one here in a long time" said Alchemist as she didn't hold back when she put her hand on Jaune and began to examine his face.
"He's got a sword on him" commented High Pixie as she zipped around Jaune from head to toe as Oracle began to approach Jaune.
"Alchemist, High Pixie, that's enough now, you're bothering our guest" said Oracle as the 2 maidens backed away.
"Let me start by thanking you in saving Petitrite, you have my sincere gratitude" said Oracle, "It was my pleasure to protect her" said Jaune.
"Now, forgive my bluntness, but what is your reason for coming to our world, we haven't had allowed humans here in a long time, and well… let's just say there's a reason" said Oracle as she eyed Jaune's sword.
"I'm not here to cause trouble for you or anyone, I'm a huntsmen, it's my job to protect people" said Jaune, "Huntsmen you say, how interesting" said Oracle.
"Yeah, anyways I'm honestly kind of lost, I don't even know where I'm at, or entirely sure how I got here, but, if there's a way for me to return back to where my friends are at I'd greatly appreciate it" said Jaune.
"That maybe problematic" said Oracle, "What do you mean" asked Jaune.
"Well… as you can see this once vibrant kingdom is now empty, mainly due to how thin I've had to stretch out my own forces against the arch witches, as such this once vibrant kingdom, is now low on everything from ether, gold, and iron, our main source of power; The same power I need to aid you on your quest back home" explained Oracle.
"So what am I stuck here then" Jaune asked in disbelief, "For the time yes, but there could still be a way back to send you home, if you're willing to help us out" said Oracle.
"How can I help" asked Jaune, " Simple, we need you to become the new Celestial Lord" said Oracle.
"Oracle, are you sure you want to do that" asked High Pixie, "Yeah, remembered what happened to the last Celestial Lord we had here, and the fact they were a huntsmen from Remnant" reminded Alchemist.
"I know, but we need Jaune's help as much as he needs ours" said Oracle as the trio looked at the boy.
"For now let's discuss this over dinner" said Oracle as she lead them all towards inside a small building.
Tike Skip
After eating his second bowl of cheese and bread soup, Jaune began to think on what's the first question he should ask in this wonderland.
"So you've had huntsmen from the world of Remnant before" asked Jaune startling the Oracle as she used a napkin to wipe her mouth clean.
"Yes, it was a long time ago, but we had a few of them from Remnant, while we had a few more from other worlds like the world of shinobi, heroes, and a planet called earth" said Oracle.
"What were they like" asked Jaune, "Well behaved, and good natured individuals from the most part, but at some point we had an individual from Remnant, who was desperately trying to convince us to leave this world and aid him in a fight against an evil witch" said Oracle.
"What was there name" asked Jaune as he cocked a brow, "I believe his name was Ozmozis" said Oracle.
"Ozpin" Jaune under his breath as he should've guest his professor had something to do with this.
"What was that" asked Oracle, "Nothing, but what happened exactly" asked Jaune.
"Well, while he insisted, and managed to convince many to leave the Celestial world, and join the fight on Remnant, someone else voiced not to" said Oracle.
"And they were who" asked Jaune, "I can't recall his name anymore, as shortly as he chased Ozmozis away from this world, he wished that his name be forgotten and that we shut our doors to outsiders for as long as we can" said Oracle.
"But during his time here, he did everything in helping us rebuild and modernize this kingdom of ours, and ultimately we've named and acknowledge him as the Celestial Lord" said Oracle.
"However that all came to an end when the arrival of the arch witches had tried to convince and even coerce many of our maidens into siding with them into leaving the celestial kingdom, putting us in a never ending war against them" said Oracle.
"But why would they do such a thing" asked Jaune, "I'm not sure, none of us really had the pleasure to sit down and chat with the arch witches and their motivation, what is known is the fact that they remain docile and avoid setting foot within the kingdom, a little peace of mind that goes a long way" said Oracle.
"But we fear everyday that they may one day lead a grand coupe against the kingdom, and destroy everything the previous Celestial Lord fought for" said High Pixie, "Quite frankly, we're all at our wits end if you haven't already notice" Alchemist said sheepishly.
"Jaune, I know you're in a hurry to return back home, but please, we need you more than ever" said Oracle as Jaune began to think it out.
"I want to help, don't get me wrong, but I feel somewhat inadequate" said Jaune, "What do you mean" asked Oracle.
"When I was attempting to defend Petitrite, my attacks have done little to no damage to any of the maidens I've fought" said Jaune.
"Not to worry, it's not a lack of inadequacy, rather it's a rule of nature" said Alchemist.
"What you mean" asked Jaune, "This world, prevents any outsiders to commit any serious harm to our maidens, at least until you've been granted a blessing from a Legendary Rare maiden, but that's not going to happen any time soon" said Oracle.
"And why is that" asked Jaune, "Legendary Rare class maidens tend to keep to themselves and have remained neutral during this war" informed High Pixie.
"Which for better or for worse, it gives us all a fair fighting chance, but now that you're here, you may actually be able to tip the scales to this war" informed Oracle.
"But I still can't fight or defend myself" said Jaune, "Not to worry, Alchemist, High Pixie, find any off duty maidens that are willing to help Jaune here" said Oracle as the 2 maidens left the seats.
"For the time being, we'll have some maidens aid you in your mission as you venture forth and defeat them, which will require you to journey for and wide around this vast kingdom" said Oracle.
"Keep in mind your actions shall reward you with not only notoriety amongst our world, but also with power that was once alien to your world" explained Oracle as Alchemist and High Pixie returned back with some maidens.
Joining back on Jaune's adventures was Petitrite, much to the joy of the young huntsmen, as he also examined the other 2 Celestial Maidens that be joining him.
The first maiden was a young woman with fair skin, short ash black hair, light blue eyes, as she had a cyber eyepatch on her left out, as she wore a short black top with the left strap drooping on it's left, revealing her matching black bra, green army camo pants, that sagged on the left side of her hip revealing not only her black thong, but also a rose patter tattoo on her pelvic region as she carried with her a high caliber sniper rifle on her shoulder, and a gun belt wrapped around her right arm; This is Sharpshooter
The second maiden was an older teenage girl wearing a teal on black frilly Lolita style dress that came with it's on black rimmed hat and teal ribbon combo with the bonus accessory being her umbrella, she had teal eyes and steel blonde hair as she was full of spunk and moxie; This was Chocomint.
"They were the only maidens around that were available in this long quest of our new Celestial Lord" said explained High Pixie, "I think they're more than enough to aid our new master" said Oracle.
"Master?" Jaune asked out loud, "Yes, by being the Celestial Lord, you are in fact under the care and protection of the Celestial Maidens, and therefore our master" explained Oracle.
"I don't know how I feel about the sudden upgrade and title" admitted Jaune, "You'll warm up to it, also before we send you off, you need this" said Alchemist as she handed Jaune an old iPhone that hasn't been updated in centuries.
"What's this" asked Jaune, "On the surface, it's a smartphone, but in reality it's now a powerful relic that was once carried by the previous celestial lord, and it's now yours" said Oracle.
"I don't know what to say" Jaune said as he gently lifted the device and notice how vintage the features this device has compared to the modern day Scrolls he and everyone back home owned.
"Say that you'll protect us and reclaim our kingdom back from the arch witches and I promise you that you'll know only return back home to your world, but you'll have the power of the maidens aiding you" said Oracle.
"You have my word Oracle, I shall not fail you" said Jaune as he began to set out and explore the Celestial Kingdom with these maidens and the powers they carry within them to bring peace back to this world and his.
I know it's been a while since I've updated this fic, or any other fic on my account as of late, but I have reasons, lot of it is a post 4 month long slump on life, and writers block due to heat and weather.
