The Saiyan Devil
Chapter 5
Celeon, Goku, and Vegeta took a trip to Beerus's planet in order for Celeon to train. Goku for some reason really wanted to teach the young Saiyan; Super Saiyan 3, a form he's having trouble with to this day. It was something that placed an extreme burden on the body, which is why Vegeta is against it; but the Saiyan Prince wasn't going to deter Celeon from choosing which path he wants to go on.
"Ah! So you want him to learn Super Saiyan Three…I don't understand, that form isn't nearly as strong as the God forms," Beerus said with his face in his palm. He was currently sitting on a tree root. "And I don't remember asking you two to bring someone from a different universe here."
"Please, please, please Lord Beerus!" Goku pleaded with a small bow. "Trust me, he's going to be the first to master it."
"What makes you so certain?"
"I don't know, it's just a gut feeling," Goku said with a scratch of his head.
"Tch, fine, we'll teach him the stupid Super Saiyan Three, but the moment something goes wrong we're going to have him learn Super Saiyan God!" Vegeta said, finally caving into his rival's plea.
Beerus however, groaned immensely. It was hard enough babysitting two Saiyans, now he had three. Although he was thankful Celeon showed the proper respect in his presence. The other two could learn a thing or two from him.
"Alright fine…but don't go making a lot of noise. Whis! Make sure they don't go overboard."
"Of course!" Whis, Beerus's angel companion, reassured with a nod of his head.
Seeing that Beerus was gone, Celeon finally sighed. "He's different than Champa, that's for sure."
"Hmph, enough of that. Let's see that Super Saiyan Two of yours. I'm up first!" Vegeta spoke as he unfolded his arms and gave a battle-ready stare to Celeon.
The young Saiyan complied and clenched his fist. Sparks of electricity immediately came to life as his tied hair popped and spiked upwards into a dashing, fluffy gold. Goku and Vegeta were slightly stumped…no, they were extremely shocked by the power output of Celeon's Super Saiyan Two. It far surpassed their expectations. However, Vegeta managed to smirk.
"Maybe you'll do as a decent warmup!" Vegeta charged in at Celeon unexpectedly, but the latter was prepared and went on the defensive.
Vegeta went for a flurry of punches, all of which were blocked by Celeon. Vegeta went for one more punch before powering up to Super Saiyan himself, breaking through Celeon's stone-hard defense and landing a clean blow to Celeon's face. The young Saiyan skidded across the ground, kicking up dust as he did.
Vegeta flew in and went for another flurry of attacks, this time throwing in kicks and concise punches. Celeon, having enough, made a bellow before gut-punching Vegeta, getting the latter to spit blood and spin kicking him back. Goku watched with anticipation. He knew Celeon was strong but he was holding his own against Vegeta, who was way stronger than when they last fought.
Vegeta decided to kick it up a notch and go into Super Saiyan 2 himself. The battle of the Super Saiyan 2 occurred with Celeon on the attack this time. Like at the tournament, Celeon went for wild strikes which could misconfigure Vegeta for a moment but the Saiyan Prince knew well to avoid the sharp attacks.
Celeon flipped back, but not without kicking Vegeta in the chin. Vegeta recovered quickly and yelled as he went for a punch, but Celeon spun on his hand and clashed his heel against Vegeta's fist. This resulted in a brief shockwave.
"He's good," Whis commented with a small smile on his face. "Now I can see why you want to teach him Super Saiyan Three, Goku."
"Hehe. I think he'd be able to teach me more about the form, despite my transforming into it first. Celeon has a lot of ki and Super Saiyan Three has a high ki usage and stamina drain, but Celeon seemed to have just as much stamina as he does ki," Goku spoke seriously as he watched Celeon and Vegeta exchange blows.
"I see. The form does have a lot of drawbacks, even though I believe Vegeta is correct in that we should teach him Super Saiyan God, I do believe allowing him to get a feel of Super Saiyan Three would be beneficial."
"Yup!"
Back to Celeon and Vegeta, both Saiyans clashed fists before jumping back a safe distance to catch their breaths.
"Hmph, it seems I have gotten stronger if I can fight you toe-to-toe in Super Saiyan Two only. What's wrong? I thought you were stronger than this!"
Celeon was taken aback by Vegeta's shout. It was true, Celeon didn't know why he felt like this…drained. He was training with Champa and Vados yet all he can do is fight on equal grounds with Vegeta's Super Saiyan Two while being in the same state himself? It didn't make sense.
"I'm…not sure. I have a lot of conflictions going on right now."
Vegeta's teeth seemed to grind in annoyance. "THIS IS A FIGHT! NOT A THINKING CONTEST! IF YOU DON'T TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY I'LL KILL YOU MYSELF!"
Celeon wasn't prepared for Vegeta to snap right into Super Saiyan Blue. The Saiyan Prince charged in and punched Celeon in the nose, followed by a few punches to his chest and ribs. Vegeta's strikes were all-powerful but elegant in a way.
What Vegeta said was beginning to set into Celeon's mind, allowing the Saiyan to land his own punch to Vegeta's face, before elbowing Vegeta's shoulder and striking with his knee. Celeon was on the counterattack, landing brutal blows in succession. Celeon wasn't fighting like his old ways anymore, he was fighting with the way he learned from Champa. Wild and solely focused on the destruction of the opposition.
Celeon was thinking like a destroyer and not like a Saiyan.
Whis took notice of this and hummed in delight. 'Seems like dear Sister and Lord Champa are teaching him…I wonder how Vegeta will respond to this.'
Vegeta mentally cursed as he was the one on the defensive all of a sudden, it was like Celeon was different. It took a minute but Vegeta finally took note of Celeon's eyes, instead of being their crimson hue, they were a deep shade of purple…the color matched the same color of Beerus's ki or energy.
It couldn't be.
Vegeta crossed the thought out of his mind, there was no way Celeon was being trained by his God Of Destruction. Vegeta released a yell and landed a jab to Celeon's chest, getting him some leeway in the fight.
Vegeta and Celeon flew at each other, both of their fists cocked back and ready to strike, however, both of them were stopped by a palm. Both Saiyans turned their heads to see that it was Whis.
"WHIS?" Vegeta loudly spoke. He wasn't expecting the angel to come in and intervene.
Celeon didn't speak as he slowly pulled his hand back. "Sorry…got carried away."
"I think it's Goku's time to fight, yes?" Whis said to Vegeta who powered down back to his base form.
"Fine! Kakarot, you're up!"
"Haha! Yeah, finally. I get to fight Celeon again," Goku jumped up and down as he was getting pumped. Goku didn't notice the purple eyes Celeon had during his brief fight with Vegeta but Whis did.
Celeon's eyes remained purple for a few more seconds before turning crimson. Goku didn't waste any time powering up to Super Saiyan 2 himself.
"Alright, you two may…BEGIN!"
Goku and Celeon immediately clashed fists, which continued for a few seconds as they flew up. Their strikes were all powerful and packed a punch, making the other flinch slightly from the stinging pain that the punches left behind.
Vegeta looked on with crossed arms. Vegeta wasn't sure how to fully scope Celeon's power, it wasn't like anything he ever experienced. It was like layers upon layers and when Celeon broke through one layer it somehow…refreshes. It was odd.
"So…you sensed it too, hm?"
Vegeta's eyes went towards Whis. "I barely recognized it, but this new power is somehow similar to Beerus's own…but watered down."
"Correct. It's still in the early stages but he's training to become the next God Of Destruction. His power is merely a tiny piece of that."
"I see…interesting. He keeps on pushing forward…reminds me too much of Kakarot," Vegeta said with no sort of jealousy. He was happy to see the Universe 6 Saiyan become strong.
"Oh my, I would've thought you would be quite frustrated at hearing the news."
"Hmph."
With that, Vegeta and Whis stopped talking so they could focus on watching the fight in front of them. So far Goku and Celeon were on equal footing, but Goku stepped it up a notch by going into Super Saiyan God and completely speed-blitzing Celeon.
The young Saiyan was in awe at the speed the form gave Goku, it was hard to keep track of Goku's attack. Each punch was precise, and each kick was overwhelming, but Celeon continued to stand strong. Seeing an opening, Celeon took the chance to finally land a blow that paved the way for his assault. With a quick jab into two strong punches to the chest, Goku was pushed back by the barrage but continued to grin, even Celeon was slightly baffled by this.
"Oh wow! You're fighting completely differently than before. I can tell you've been training hard."
Celeon blinked as the wind pushed against his hair, causing it to billow. "Truth be told, I did some serious training with Lord Champa and Lady Vados. They've taught me how to hone my wild strikes into decisive attacks."
Goku gasps. "Really? So that would mean…"
"Yeah…I'm training to become the next God Of Destruction," Celeon voiced with some disappointment.
Vegeta noticed the tone and his brows rose curiously. He wondered why Celeon sounded the way he did, surely it couldn't be regret?
"I see. This is even more of a reason for you to learn Super Saiyan Three! Alright. I'm going to show you right now," Goku's red hair disappeared and went back to normal. "I have to warn you, the only reason I was able to do this…is because I was dead at the time, so my body was able to handle the strain…but with a real body…it may prove harder. It's more of a transformation to end fights quickly than it is for the long run."
Celeon nodded, understanding the drawback the form gave the body.
"But…with your immense power level and ki, I think you may be able to handle it even while being alive!"
"I…I see. Very well. I'm ready."
Goku grinned before taking on a steely look. "HEEEEEYAH!"
Just from powering up, Goku was shaking the whole planet which got Celeon to open in mouth in surprise. Super Saiyan 3 had this much raw power? It wasn't stronger than Super Saiyan God…but it still had this much energy output. Goku's hair grew long, wild, and spiky with his eyebrows disappearing and a single bang down the middle of his head. The form had an opposing feel to it.
"That's…"
"This is Super Saiyan Three," Goku said in a deeper tone. "Now…I want you to power up to the max."
"To the max?"
"That's right, we need to see how much ki you have in the tank before we proceed any further."
Celeon tilted his head slightly but understood why Goku needed to see the cap of his power. Celeon, like Goku, began to roar, shaking the planet once more in the process. Vegeta, Whis, and Goku all took an avid interest in Celeon's power. It was beginning to skyrocket, more so than Goku transforming into Super Saiyan 3 himself. It was much higher than that.
It took a full minute or more for Celeon to wind down before completely stopping. Celeon breathed heavily as he felt drained, more drained than he thought he'd be.
Goku, still in Super Saiyan 3, smiled largely at this. "You have a lot of energy, that's for sure. This may just work."
"How…can…you…be so sure?" Celeon spoke, taking deep breaths in between each word.
"You capped out on Super Saiyan Two's power and almost…just almost made it to the power needed for Super Saiyan Three. We're going to head into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber so we can continue."
"Wise decision," Vegeta said as he appeared beside Goku. "Once you finish that, you will let me teach you Super Saiyan God and not get a free pass like this idiot here."
Celeon blinked. "Right…I'll bring Cabba for when we do that."
"Perfect."
"Seems like you're all done here, I shall send you three back to Earth."
A day after that, Goku and Celeon quickly went into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Celeon was stoked more than ever to achieve the form of Super Saiyan 3. He knew when he returned back to Planet Sadala, he'd be ready to face the King.
The two Saiyans were in the chamber for two years, which is the equivalent of two days in the real world.
Celeon had walked out of the chamber with a thick beard and knee-length hair, while Goku just had a beard on his face. Celeon also seemed to have aged a bit more as well, looking to be in his late twenties by now. But due to Saiyans longevity, he still looked young.
Goku had asked Celeon to come to his house, which slightly shocked the young Saiyan but complied. Upon reaching Goku's house, Celeon was surprised to see that it was a small roundhouse and not the sporadic one Vegeta lives in. Goku's house was surrounded by a bunch of wildlife and dense trees, it almost felt like the wilderness.
"Chi-Chi! Are you home!"
"OH SO NOW YOU COME BACK AFTER TWO DAYS! WHERE WERE YOU!"
Goku and Celeon both flinched at the dreadfully loud voice. It was Goku's wife Chi-Chi. Chi-Chi stormed out of the front door with an angry expression on her face and a deep scowl to match. However, that faded away upon seeing Celeon.
"Oh…I'm sorry about that."
Celeon wanted to fall down and bang his head but suppressed the feeling and smiled warmly at Chi-Chi. "Nice to meet you, Miss Chi-Chi, my name is Celeon…although I think you already know that."
"Of course, of course. At least someone around here had manners," Chi-Chi stared daggers into Goku who chuckled at that. It took a second for Chi-Chi to notice the beard on Goku's face and she frowned.
"You were in that damn chamber again. But…I guess I can't be mad, you were training Celeon here it seems. You can come in and get washed up and shave that off if you'd like."
"That would be greatly appreciated!"
After that, Celeon washed up and shaved. He wasn't expecting to be in the chamber for two years. It was non-stop vigorous training. Celeon was able to learn about the different forms of Super Saiyans, from Grade Two to Grade Four. Celeon also learned that Gohan was the first to achieve Super Saiyan 2, which was something Celeon didn't expect. They fought against an android named Cell, who threatened not only Earth but the entire Solar System.
That was a lot to take in.
After a hearty lunch that Chi-Chi had made for Celeon and Goku, Celeon was due to leave the universe shortly after. He wasn't supposed to stay this long in the first place and he was sure he was going to get scolded by Cabba for not being around.
"Oh man., do you have to leave already?"
Celeon and Goku sat by the pond, relaxing as they were letting their previous meal set in and digest.
"Unfortunately. I wasn't supposed to be here for as long as I was. I wanted to visit for a few hours but…this all happened."
Goku scratched his head. "Well. I'm glad you had some time to come by. It's not every day I get to hang out with a Saiyan from another universe. The world really is big huh?"
"It is…when I first heard about Saiyans being in another Universe…I was skeptical at first, but something told me to come and check it out myself. My father always spoke about ancient stories about how we used to be giant apes and evolved past the need for it."
"Ooooh, the Oozaru! Yeah…brings back a lot of…painful memories."
Celeon looked at Goku with wide eyes. The tone of the senior Saiyan shocked him. He sounded…toneless.
"Sorry…didn't mean to bring up any bad, shackled memories…"
Goku waved his hands dismissively. "Nah! Don't worry about it. I'm curious. What were your parents like?"
Celeon lowered his head, gazing into the river in front of him. "They were…well…great parents."
Goku grinned, but it was more of a childish grin, begging for more information on the subject.
"Believe it or not…my father wasn't much of a good fighter."
"Whoa, really?"
"Yup, my mom was the fighter, she was a general in the Defense Force before retiring after having me. She didn't slack off on training though, she taught me how to fight. My father taught me to keep my ki in check and how to scope out others' ki."
"Ah, so that's why you're so good at seeing how much ki we have, no matter how much we try to keep low."
"That's right. It's something my father prided himself in due to his lack of fighting skills."
"Are they still around?"
Celeon paused for a moment. The question was a sore subject…but Goku went out of his way to train and hang out with him, the least he could do is answer the question.
"They died. To protect me. My ki would sometimes take over me, control me and cause me to destroy things…" Celeon released a long-suffering sigh. "Unfortunately, I was the one who killed them."
Goku looked down and sadly stared at the river. He didn't think before asking the question. "Sorry about asking that…you know. Our stories may be different but…I killed someone…my Grandpa Gohan."
"Gohan…you named Gohan after your grandfather?"
"Yup. I turned into an Oozaru when looking at the full moon one day, it was a blur, I couldn't remember a thing…but I learned to move on, while also carrying on his spirit with me."
Celeon took those words to heart…to carry on the spirit of someone. He could carry the spirits of his parents and Staklo as well. Celeon smiled broadly. "I think…this talk helped me out a lot, Goku."
"Hehe, glad it did. You carry the guilt for something you had no control over, it's time to set that free and look on the bright side!"
"Heh, I guess you're right….so, you want to spar?"
Goku grinned wildly as he jumped up. "HELL YEAH!"
After what seemed to be a long week, Celeon returned to Universe 6, saying his goodbyes to everyone. Celeon wished to stay longer in Universe 7 but he wanted to return home. After his talk with Goku…he was beginning to see things differently, clearer even.
The first thing Celeon did was return to Planet Sadala. He wanted to reach out to Caulifla and Kale. He wanted them to be strong as well. However, upon reaching Caulifla's base, something was transpiring. It was a group of Sadala Defense Force members.
"We're finally cracking down on your damn gang, Caulifla. Come over quietly. Or face punishment."
"Ha! You guys talk a big game, but I'd still clobber 'ya!"
Celeon kinda missed hearing that tomboyish tone. Caulifla was his rival after all.
"Fine! We're just going to kick your ass then!"
However, before the Defense Force member could strike, his wrist was grabbed by a powerful force. The member traced the force or arm back to its source and his eyes bulged seeing the crimson glow.
"Y-you!"
"Yeah…me, do you really think you could beat Caulifla?"
Caulifla looked at Celeon with sparkly eyes, she could easily see that he was stronger than before and that excited her more than anything.
"Y-yeah I can!"
Celeon looked at the shivering guy he had in his grip with a frown. "Alright…go ahead then."
"Eh?" Caulifla said with widened eyes and flopping arms. "Seriously? Doncha' know I can beat this whole brigade myself?"
Celeon grinned at his rival. "Want to race?"
Caulifla didn't know what was up with Celeon…but she kinda liked what she was seeing. She gave a feral grin. "You bet!"
The Saiyan rivals proceeded to plow the Defense Force members with ease, both shouting their tabs of defeated members before finally ending after a full two minutes.
"Twelve," Caulifla said as she walked up to Celeon.
"Thirteen…looks like I finally win," Celeon said, much to Caulifla's ire.
"Fiiiine! But anyway…I guess…t-thanks for saving my bacon."
Celeon didn't notice it, but Caulifla had a red tint on her face. "No problem, although…it makes me wonder why these guys were here. Maybe we should've left one conscious."
"Bah! Screw them. These guys deserve the plummeting we gave them," Caulifla's red flush disappeared right away. She was also curious about why these scoundrels invaded her turf.
"I have no doubt they did…but this is still rather unruly and uncharacteristic of them…I'll need to get this under control."
"O-oh…you're back," Celeon turned around to see the meek form of Kale. However, it seemed she was more…confident in her stature.
Celeon greeted Kale with a smile, which, like with Caulifla caused her to grow a small, minor red tint on her face, although Celeon seemed oblivious to it.
"I went…on a training trip."
"HUH! YOU DID! AND YOU DIDN'T INVITE ME!" Caulifla shouted as if she was hurt.
"Well, that's why I also came here…to ask you both to come with me."
Caulifla and Kale both seemed intrigued. Caulifla was moreso. "Well, I guess I can come along, what 'bout you Kale?"
"O-of course, Sister."
Celeon grinned. "Great…now…all I need to do is get in contact with-"
"What happened here?"
The three Saiyans looked up to see Cabba flying down, his face expressed worry as he looked at all 25 defeated Saiyans.
"They tried to lock me up!"
"Cabba. Come with us."
"Huh? Where to?"
"Champa's planet."
"Lord Champa's planet? Why?"
"We're going to get stronger of course….but we should get these guys fixed up."
After sending the Defense Force members back to base, Celeon, Cabba, Caulifla, and Kale all traveled to Champa's planet. Kale felt out of place given she hasn't stepped foot out of Planet Sadala, while Caulifla was the opposite. She was like a loose cannon, hyper to the bone.
Champa and Vados appeared in front of the group of Saiyans, with Champa grinning in glee while Vados kept a serene smile on her face. You couldn't tell her emotions but she was probably feeling excited to train more people besides Celeon.
"Great, you're all here."
Caulifla, being the character that she is, rose a brow. "Who the hell is the chubby cat?"
Champa snarled. "CHUBBY CAT? I OUGHT TO DESTROY YOU!"
Celeon sighed. "He's the God Of Destruction, Caulifla. Please try not to get on his bad side… he's insanely strong."
"HUH? You mean to tell me you fought this guy?"
"You can say that," Celeon answered.
"Ahem! Anyway. I asked the Saiyan to bring you three here. I can feel that the next tournament is coming up and I don't want to waste my time dealing with weaklings."
"Well look no further big guy, we're the perfect choices!" Caulifla expressed with a cocky grin. Celeon knew this was going to be a handful.
"Hmph, at least you got confidence. Celeon, do you want to continue from where we last left off? Or are you going to train alongside the rest?" Champa asked as he began to pick his ear.
"I have a favor to ask Lady Vados, so yes, I'll be staying behind."
"Fair enough, I'm going to nap. Don't destroy my planet."
With Champa gone, the four Saiyans all awaited Vados's orders.
"What is it you wanted to ask of me, Celeon?"
"So…I was training with Goku the other day but the power the transformation I'm looking to achieve requires a dead body or a rather resilient body…so I was wondering if you had the power to create a space where I can train in a near dead state."
"Oi…what transformation?"
Cabba went wide-eyed. "You don't know about Super Saiyan?"
"What now? This the first I've heard of it," Caulifla answered with a frown.
Celeon grinned. "How're you a prodigy if you can't go Super Saiyan."
Caulifla fumed at that. "Then teach me jackass! I bet I can transform into it faster than you did."
"Oh my, she is an interesting one. I will create that room you so desired Celeon. It'll be fun watching you all train."
Celeon gave Vados a thankful nod. The Angel waved her staff around before a portal opened up in front of the four Saiyans, all but Celeon looked skeptical about this at first but the tall Saiyan was the first to go in, giving the confidence of the others to follow through.
Inside the space, it reminded Celeon of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. This was perfect. Celeon would be able to achieve Super Saiyan 3 in no time!
"Kale, let's continue our training," Celeon spoke to Kale who seemed to shuffle embarrassingly.
"I-I thought you forgot…"
"I was sidetracked with missions and stuff, but I'm ready to train you up. I'm also trying to get this new form and I think you'll be able to help me."
"Hey what about us?" Caulifla barged in with a deep frown. Even Cabba looked a tad bit sad to see that Celeon was going to train Kale first.
"You and Cabba are relatively around the same power range, how about you two train and we'll do a rotation."
"That sounds fair," Cabba was quick to agree.
"Shucks and I wanted to train with ya' fine I'll fight the pipsqueak," Caulifla said with a bit of disappointment.
"Pipsqueak?" Cabba said nervously.
"Well…you're short and Celeon is tall, I'm just stating it how it is."
'Big Brother and Caulifla act differently but are so much alike when it comes to words…' Cabba thought.
"Okay, Kale. Let's start off from before. Try to move me from this spot. After that, we'll start teaching you how to control your Super Saiyan transformation. It's much different than ours… it's like a mutation."
Kale nodded her head feverishly. "G-Got it…here I come!"
Celeon braced himself for Kale's punch, and to his shock and awe, Kale managed to push Celeon a few inches. The punch itself was weak…but Kale's attack was strong. Was she able to control the damage output so perfectly?
"Again!"
"Right!"
As Celeon pushed Kale to her absolute limits, Cabba was fairing well against Caulifla. The Saiyan prodigy was struggling to land a perfect hit on Cabba. The latter has Caulifla beat in the speed department, but Cabba knew Caulifla was better than this.
"Damnit! Trying to land a hit on you is annoying!" Caulifla said with an annoyed expression.
Cabba chuckled nervously as stopped briefly to catch his breath. "You're strong, but you need to be fast as well to land your hits."
"I get that…"
"Well, guess we know what we're going to be doing for now. Speed training," Cabba said with a smile. "And maybe some tricks here and there."
"Tricks? Sounds boring, I rather just punch them."
"Haha…right."
Vados looked between the two groups with mild fascination. She didn't foresee any of these events happening, but it was livelier than usual. Vados eyes seemed to stop on Kale, and the shy Saiyan's ki suddenly spiked.
"Uh oh…" Celeon said as he watched Kale transform.
"WHOA! She has this much power…was she hiding this all along?" Caulifla said in amazement as she looked at Kale.
Cabba began to sweat drop. He was thankful that they were in a different area and not back on Planet Sadala. He knew Kale had insane potential upon first meeting her…but this was something else.
"Alright…let's see how you like Super Saiyan Two!" Celeon quickly powered up, loose sparks of electricity flowing around him. The now berserk Kale only grinned at this.
The two Super Saiyans both struck each other in the face, getting them to spit from how heavy the strikes was, but Celeon, having his mind intact, was able to utilize this opening and strike harder than before. Each blow left Kale to hitch a breath before she fell on one knee.
"He's easily able to overpower her now?"
"Whaddya mean? They fought before?"
"Yeah…that's how big brother was able to transform into Super Saiyan…but now he outclasses her with ease. It shows how strong he's gotten," Cabba said with a tinge of jealousy in his voice.
Caulifla also felt a bit of jealousy, usually in her tussles with Celeon, they'd end in draws, but Celeon would always say she was the victor of it. Why did he? Was it out of the care for her feelings? Or was it because it was in his nature to do so, to lift the spirits of those around him. Kale was also like that it seems. They both held their true strength so they wouldn't make her feel bad.
"Cabba…"
Cabba blinked. "Yeah?"
"Teach me that Super Saiyan! You can use it too, right? Then you'll be the perfect one to teach me it."
"Uh…If you say so."
Back to Celeon and Kale, the former blocking all of Kale's punches. Kale was fighting purely off rage, sure it was a boost to her power, but the attacks were sloppy and predictable. The form wasn't perfect…it was like an untrained version of Super Saiyan. Or perhaps this is what Super Saiyan is supposed to be. Celeon didn't know the answers, but one thing is certain.
He was going to help Kale learn this form.
Kale roared as she went to strike again, but Celeon was prepared and grabbed her by the wrist and threw her to the side. Kale used her hands to stop moving, scrapping them against the pale floor. Her breaths were beginning to grow heavy with each passing second.
This was Celeon's chance to strike. Celeon coated his fist in a dense amount of ki and began to charge it up. Kale, despite being berserk was able to feel the danger in this attack and reacted, running at Celeon with the intent to stop him. Celeon ducked, avoiding being grabbed, and landed his attack into Kale's stomach. It caused Kale's mouth to open in pain and spit out a large amount of blood.
Kale began to stagger back, grabbing the sore spot where Celeon punched, before falling to her knees. Celeon closed his eyes and calmed himself, releasing Super Saiyan Two.
"I might've gone overboard…" Celeon said as he sat down.
Kale, having reverted to normal looked at Celeon shyly. "I…don't remember what happened."
"You transformed again…but we're going to get the form down pact."
"R-really?"
Celeon nodded. "Of course."
With that, Celeon and Kale went right back to training, wanting to have Kale master her berserk state of Super Saiyan. Cabba continued to help Caulifla transform, telling her that he felt a tingly sort of sensation in his back.
This training session proceeded for almost a week.
After returning from their week-long training session, the four Saiyans seemed to have bonded over the time they spent with one another. They all departed their separate ways, while Celeon stayed at Champa's planet to continue his God Of Destruction training.
"Well, this is interesting…"
"Hm, what is, Lady Vados?"
Vados stared at her scepter for a few seconds later before turning her gaze towards Celeon, who was sweating from his previous training.
"Yeah, what's the matter, Vados? We can't stop our training!" Champa said with a slight frown.
"We've been invited to a zen exhibition match."
"Zen exhibition? What for…"
"The tournament you mentioned to Lord Zeno with Goku."
Champa and Celeon both went wide-eyed.
"Well…we can't keep this waiting, lets's get going!" Celeon said as he was curious to see who or what will be at the zen exhibition.
END
AN: Sorry for the ending part of the chapter being rushed, I had no ideas for how to write that and went with what was in my head. A bit went down this chapter with Goku and Celeon bonding a bit more, Vegeta seemingly opening up to Celeon. And a LOT of training. I don't see many fanfics doing training chapters. This was also a bit of a challenge for me as well since training can be a bit of a struggle to write, but I'm quite glad about how things turned out in the end.
The next chapter will be about the Zen exhibition. This should be fun to write. With that all said, please leave a review, and let me know your thoughts on the chapter and overall what you expect to see in the coming chapters, I'm open to all sorts of suggestions. The T.O.P. arc will be drastically different than what we've seen in the anime and manga.
