The Saiyan Devil

Chapter 11

Frost could be seen hiding within some of the mass amounts of rubble. A sinister smile adorned his face as he watched everyone fight. He wasn't about to waste his precious energy on this tournament. All he needed to do was be the one to survive till the end, the last one standing, and wish for what he wanted.

Immortality!

It was something he had always craved. He killed his own father in order to take over the criminal empire. He knew if he could kill his father, he also needed to be sure his child wouldn't kill him. He was Frost! The almighty, the cunning, the ruthless!

He was downright evil.

He didn't care what he did to achieve his goals; he knew one way or another, he'll get what he wanted. Frost would have the Saiyans dwindle the other universe forces down to the marrow and,ck them out to in the end, kno get his wish.

All that mattered was being the last man standing.

"Hohoho! Well, look at this; what a crude sight."

Frost turned his head to see his Universe 7 counterpart, Frieza, who had a cunning smile on his face. Frost fully turned to Frieza.

"It's almost too uncanny how we look alike now that we're in the same proximity. To what do I owe this pleasure?"

"You seem to have a…unrestrained hatred for your Saiyans, too, no?"

Frost restrained a shout and nodded. "Why, of course. I assume the same is said for you as well?"

Frieza nodded and pointed to the halo on his head. "I joined this fiasco to get my life back."

Hearing that gave Frost even more reason to achieve Immortality. He didn't wish to end up dead like Frieza.

"I see. Saiyans must be good for causing trouble."

As Frost said that, a few more fighters dropped out of the ring, courtesy of a rampaging Saiyan.

"That one from your universe, Kale, was it? She seems to be nothing short of a barbarous beast. It's nothing like the Super Saiyan I had displeasure witnessing."

"I believe hers is to be of the famous myth, a Saiyan with extraordinary power born every thousand years."

Frieza felt his brow twitch hearing this. Myths should be nothing but myths!

"Say…how about we work together to get get rid of those troublesome simians."

Frost seemed surprised by this, but something within him told him to be careful. If they were from the same race and had such high regard, then Frost knew Frieza would betray him at a moment's notice when his usefulness was drained.

"Well, of course...I look forward to hearing more about your plan."

"Everything seems to be moving according to plan," A suave voice spoke. It came from a humanoid cat-like man but with bunny teeth. He wears the traditional Pride Trooper uniform.

"Correct, Dyspo," Toppo said as he looked around the arena. Everyone is busy trying to knock out Universe 6 and Universe 7, which was beneficial to his universe.

Jiren seemed irked by something, and that was the constant output of Kale's monstrous energy. Toppo looked and noticed the distress on Jiren's look and gave a silent sigh.

"We should intervene, Jiren."

Jiren said nothing and began to walk slowly toward Kale's fight.

Up at the bench, Belmond and his Supreme Kai, named Kai, watched with widened eyes as they saw Jiren walk at a slow pace.

"He's moving?" Belmond said with shock before turning his head to look at Kale destroying everything and knocking unsuspecting fighters out. "It must be that Saiyan girl. Tch."

Kale's power continued to wreak havoc everywhere, orbs of green flying around the arena, striking against fighters who weren't paying attention.

Goku appeared out of the rubble he was thrown into and looked at the bellowing Kale; if this is what Celeon had to fight before, then he was utterly surprised the young Saiyan made it out alive. Goku knew if he didn't stop Kale now, everyone would fall out. His team had already lost two members; he needed to handle Kale right now.

Goku charged up and began preparing for another Kamehameha. Kale looked over by sheer instinct and saw Goku charging up his attack. Kale cracked a grin as she began to stomp her way toward the older Saiyan.

"Kale! Oi, stop!" Caulifla's voice seemed to go in through one ear and out of the next. Kale only had one thing right now.

To knock out everyone else.

That was what was coursing through her mind right now. Caulifla placed her hands on Kale's shoulders, trying to stop the female behemoth from continuing any further than this.

"Kale! Remember who you are; remember all the training we did so you could learn this form?"

Goku listened with intensity; the blast forming in the palm of his hands began to dim down as he began to rethink his decision. He wanted to know how strong these Saiyans were, but it wasn't fun if the opponent didn't know a thing or two about their own power.

Kale seemed to stop, if only for a brief moment, as she shrugged Caulifla aside.

"Damnit! She won't even listen to me!"

Goku was about to release his attack, but a figure jumped in front of him, getting his eyes to widen at who it was.

Universe 11's strongest, Jiren.

"I will put an end to this," Jiren said stoically.

"RAA!"

Kale rushed at her new opponent and went for a powerful punch, but it was stopped by some invisible barrier that surrounded Jiren; however, it seemed Kale was beginning to make some headway as she broke through it momentarily; that was all part of Jiren's plan as he was able to stop Kale's punch easily with his bare hands, there no signs of shaking from his arm, his stance was firm, and his eyes stiff.

"It's…" Jiren shot a red, dense ki blast into Kale's gut with his free hand that sent her flying; Jiren turned his back with closed eyes and his arms crossed. "Over."

"KALE!"

Caulifla shouted with utter worry as Kale was sent into the air before an explosion occurred. Caulifla left the area to check on Kale, considering she didn't appear on the benches when the explosion died.

"This guy…" Goku said as he powered down back to base. "Is insanely strong."

Jiren turned his head so his cold stare could be seen by Goku. Jiren and Goku had a short stare-off before Jiren left, leaving a befuddled Goku behind.

"So, he still thinks I'm not ready to fight him," Goku said with slight disappointment.

"HYA!"

"KEEP STILL!"

Goku looked up to see Celeon fighting against come cat lady in the air as they crashed into nearby boulders, shattering them upon impact. Goku grinned as he saw his student having a blast. At least, he thinks Celeon is his student.

Goku sighed as he took a moment to breathe and catch his bearings. He really wanted to fight Caulifla and Kale, but it looks like that'll be a bit later. For now, he'll regroup with the others.

"So, you're the infamous assassin, Hit?"

Hit had his hands in his coat pocket as he stared coldly at his opponent, Dyspo. Hit could automatically tell this guy was going to be more of an annoyance than difficult. His build didn't exactly scream 'Hard-hitting'

"I am," Replied Hit, unamused. He didn't wish to waste any time with this fighter, but Universe 11 hadn't lost a single member as of yet, and that didn't sit well with Hit.

"Heh! Well, I hope you don't think your Time-Skip is going to help; I'm so fast even time can't keep up with me!"

"Is that so?"

Dyspo didn't take kindly to Hit's attitude and ran in for an attack. Hit brought out his arms and straightened up. His red eyes narrowed before snapping open. The sound of crunching and crystals could be heard before Hit seemingly disappeared from view, but Dyspo continued to smirk at this as his ears twitched.

Dyspo elbowed to the left, and at the end was Hit's face, who stumbled back with a red mark on his face.

"A fluke?" Hit thought before he went back into skipping time; however, the results were the same; this time, Dyspo punched Hit in the chin, sending him into a boulder.

"Oh, c'mon! Didn't I tell you your Time-Skip is useless? Face it, you met your match," Dyspo ran forward, this time in a blur, shocking Hit briefly and getting him to go into a defensive stance.

Hit looked from left to right, but Dyspo was nowhere to be seen…

"Behind!" Hit turned around and punched, but he did nothing but punch air.

"I'm right here!"

Dyspo kicked Hit in the back and sent him crashing into a boulder, turning it into tiny pieces of rubble. Dyspo jumped up and down, a wide, cocky grin appearing on his face.

"Seems I really got you beat. You can't even keep up with my speed!"

"I must admit…I'm impressed…but only a bit," Hit said with displeasure. This wasn't going according to plan. It seemed Dyspo was able to back up his cocky attitude. "You're reading my muscles the moment I use Time-Skip, aren't you?"

Dyspo flicked his ears with confidence rolling out of him in waves. "That's right! I can hear everything."

Hit closed his eyes in thought. "I see."

Dyspo went on the attack again, this time with more speed than before, he had Hit beat, and the fight just began! This was going to be an easy win. Hit quickly picked himself up and ran in. Dyspo seeing this, decided to speed up even more; his body seemed to stretch as well as Hit's as they rushed in. Dyspo's ears twitched as he heard Hit's muscles move, but Dyspo didn't realize this was part of Hit's plan.

"GWK!"

Hit's left hand was buried into Dyspo's stomach, the speedster had blood falling out of his mouth, and his eyes widened so far that his brows seemed to disappear.

"H-How!"

"A feint. It isn't your strikes that worry me; it's your speed."

Hit finished by throwing Dyspo away. A plan began to form in Hit's head. Trying this plan out was worth a shot, but Dyspo will be ringed out for good if he succeeds.

"That was just a fluke! Pure luck!"

Dyspo went in, but this time Hit wasn't prepared and was bombarded in all sections by a flurry of fists, all of them weak but beginning to stack up the pain. It was like being in the middle of a storm, and everything on the outside was making its way to the center, destroying everything.

Hit managed to use Time-Skip to get out of the storm of fists, but Dyspo was hot on his trial, which is what Hit wanted.

"Good…this will work nicely," Hit thought as he appeared by the edge of the arena.

"THERE'S NO ESCAPE NOW!"

Hit waited for the right moment, and just as Dyspo's fist was inches away from Hit's face, Hit activated his Time-Skip, letting Dyspo speed through his intangible body; the look on Dyspo's face was priceless.

"WHAT! DAMNIT!" Dyspo shouted as he flew down.

"Next time, don't be so hotheaded," Hit said as he placed his hands in his pocket.

"I got you, Dyspo!"

Hit stopped and looked behind him to see vibrant orange threads shooting out of the stadium. Hit watched his hard work go down the drain, seeing Dyspo find his way back to the stadium and onto a boulder.

"Kunshi! Thanks for the save, man!"

"Don't worry about it; I figured the Assassin would try that trick. Toppo had asked me to assist."

Dyspo nodded and mentally thanked Toppo. "This guy is the real deal."

Hit looked at his newest opponent with mild interest. Kunshi, was it? Kunshi is a blue, ogre-like individual with short stature and purple dots on his head. Like the other Pride Troopers, he wears his Pride Trooper uniform and is well-built for an individual his size.

Kunshi glanced down at Hit with rage in his eyes. "It's our job to handle cretins like you! Assassins, evil-doers, and more. In the face of the Pride Troopers, you're nothing!"

"Haha! Well said, Kunshi!" Belmond laughed as he heard the ogre man talk.

Hit didn't seem bothered by Kunshi's speech. "It doesn't matter. My job is to ensure the survival of Universe Six; if I have to knock you all out, so be it!"

"Don't press your luck!"

Dyspo lunged forward, ready to put a dent into Hit's attitude, but just before he could do so, a purple blaze set through and stopped in front of Hit like a protective ward. Dyspo felt his fist get grabbed by something; it was like it was stuck in a heap of glue.

"Shit! What is this!"

Hit's eyes widened, seeing the figure within the purple flames. "Celeon?"

"You looked like you needed some assistance, Mister Hit," Celeon said as the purple flames calmed down.

"Y-You! The one Toppo warned us about!"

Dyspo was able to escape Celeon's grip and jump back to where Kunshi was located. It was now a 2-on-2, an even fight.

Celeon was in his Super Saiyan God form, which surprised Hit somewhat. He wasn't expecting Celeon to pull it out immediately; it was still a problem for Celeon to use, which is why he uses Super Saiyan 3 most of the time.

"Although I appreciate the assist, I believe I could handle these two on my own."

"Don't be so stuck up, Hit. We both need to make it to the finals. As much as I want to believe in our team, I fear only us two can achieve victory."

Hit lowered his head and sighed. "Very well. Let's do this."

Celeon grinned. "I knew you'd agree!"

"It doesn't matter how many of you stack up; we're still going to win!"

Dyspo shot forward with a vigorous burst of speed. However, Celeon knew this guy was only about speed. Celeon nodded his head to Hit, who seemed to catch on and nod as well.

"Seems like those two are teaming up," Vados spoke eloquently. She was quite excited to see how Celeon and Hit would do working together. They both carried solid composure, so seeing the two fight alongside one another was sure to be interesting.

"Ha! I was waiting for this moment; we can finally get one-up on Belmond. That pesky clown!"

Belmond, hearing that, only snickered.

Celeon kicked into the ground and moved his foot forward, causing a shockwave and kicking up debris that clouded Dyspo's moments. Kunshi, however, laid his silk threads everywhere as a safety measure.

"No one can hit me from here without taking a step on my threads," Kunshi was brimming with confidence in that statement.

However, Kunshi was mistaken as Hit appeared behind Kunshi in a blur.

"Nice trick, but that won't work!"

"Huh-AWK!"

Kunshi turned around only for his sight to disappear as Hit kicked him full force; it was strong enough to cause Kunshi to barrel into Dyspo, who was about to hit Celeon. The two Pride Troopers were sent flying toward the edge, but not enough for them to fall over…is what they would've thought.

"DIASTER KAMEHAMEHA!"

A beam of red and black escaped Celeon's hands, impacting intensely onto Dyspo and Kunshi. Their screams could be heard as they were out of the arena and falling out.

"NOT AGAIN!" Dyspo shouted.

"YOU'RE STILL NEEDED!" Kunshi shot a blast into Dyspo's back, causing the speedster to fly back into the arena by the skin of his teeth.

Dyspo looked up at the benches to see Kunshi there. "Kunshi, thanks!"

"JUST WIN!"

Dyspo nodded to that and turned his attention to Celeon and Hit, who both got into a stance.

"Looks like I have to go even faster, so fast that it'll leave you dazzled! PREPARE YOURSELF!"

END

The next chapter continues with Dyspo vs. Celeon and Hit. I hope you all enjoyed this chapter; we finally get to see what Frost was doing while the fighting was happening and a different version of Jiren handling Kale.

The next chapter will most likely have two fights, so I look forward to it!

(AN: May 12th - I finished Chapter 16, which is about 6K words long, making it the longest chapter in the arc and quite possibly the best written, honestly. After this arc is finished, I plan on reading it over and giving myself a Review. Celeon's SSG is something he doesn't really use since it's still incomplete, which will be evident in the next few chapters; I actually want to give SSJ3 some shine before SSG's completion.)
