The Saiyan Devil
Chapter 14
Toppo managed to escape from Celeon's attack, each powerful and more skillful than the last time they traded fists. It seemed Toppo finally met his match. It was quite exciting. However, the circumstances weren't the best.
Celeon went for a jab, but Toppo spun to the side, avoiding the attack and kicking Celeon back. They both were holding their own so far, much to the chagrin of their respective Gods. Celeon went on the attack first, which was an elbow strike, but Toppo avoided it and went for a cross punch, landing directly into Celeon's nose and sending him skidding back. The attack was enough for Celeon to leak blood from his nose.
"You have certainly gotten stronger, Celeon. But you are my enemy and the main reason this tournament is happening, as well as Goku. For that, you two must face justice by my hands!"
Celeon stood up straight and cracked his neck. Celeon quickly peered over to see Caulifla and Kale fighting as one, making him happy inside. Those two were quite strong. It was good to see the fruits of their training paying off. Celeon turned his eyes back to Toppo, a perpetual smirk adorning his face.
"Sorry to say, but I won't be the one facing justice today! You will find that a challenging attempt."
Toppo snickered silently at the remark. He used it not long ago. However, what caught Toppo off guard was Celeon's bellowing; he was charging up even more now. The intense amount of electricity surrounding Celeon's body could be a forcefield. Celeon's hair didn't change, but one thing that did was the sight of eyebrows returning…and a tail made of black and red ki. Toppo was thoroughly stunned.
"This is…mastered Super Saiyan 3!"
"Yes, I can tell you have trained considerably to master that form. This should be quite enjoyable!"
Celeon continued to smirk. Toppo was beginning to sound like a Saiyan more and more.
The two fighters both went to attack each other, Celeon sending a hail of punches in Toppo's direction, but the God Of Destruction trainee saw each of them coming and acted accordingly, blocking them with ease, but, each punch left a stinging pain, almost borderline shock, it was like being electrocuted. Toppo had slipped up, cringing at one of the punches, allowing other punches to strike all over Toppo's body. Celeon continued for another long minute before kicking Toppo in the gut and away from Celeon.
Toppo hunched in pain.
"While training, I learned how to add electricity to my attacks; this is my first time trying it out."
Toppo spat out blood and stood up straighter. "Using me as a training dummy? I won't allow you to shame me like THIS!"
Celeon prepared himself, feeling Toppo use the aura of god. This only caused Celeon to grin madly at this. Toppo charged up to the max and ran in, with Celeon doing the same; both fists clashed once again, red aura meeting black in a heated exchange.
"What's happening? That form is considerably weaker than that purple-haired form he displayed at the Zeno Expo! So why is it stronger now!" Belmond spoke with confusion in his voice. He didn't understand the situation playing in front of him right now.
Goku positioned himself, staring at Jiren with a stern expression. Jiren stared back coldly at the Saiyan.
"Dyspo, regroup with the others; I will handle this myself."
Dyspo nodded dumbly. "If you say so, Jiren."
With Dyspo gone, Jiren motioned for Goku to strike him.
"HIYAH!" Goku charged up and shot off a Kamehameha in his base form, which didn't even strike Jiren directly; it was blocked off by a barrier of sorts that protected Jiren.
Goku flew forward and attacked while in Super Saiyan, which didn't make Jiren flinch or move from his solid position. Finally, Goku stopped and went to Super Saiyan 2, which also didn't phase Jiren. Next was Super Saiyan 3, which had some effect but not enough for Jiren to react. After was Super Saiyan God, which Goku sent a flurry of punches, to which Jiren brought up his right hand to block the punches. Goku grinned, seeing he had some headway.
Goku jumped back, charged into Super Saiyan Blue, and rushed forward; Jiren's eyes widened as he was sent flying from the unsuspecting punch. Jiren quickly regained his bearings and stopped a punch from Goku, then proceeded to go on the offensive, dishing out a multitude of punches, all strong as a toppling building. Goku flew back to escape, but Jiren was hot on his trail. The two of them traded blows in the middle of the air, above all the fighting, getting everyone who was fighting before to stop and watch the fight.
Jiren kicked Goku in the stomach, sending him crashing into boulders. Jiren immediately reappeared where Goku was and slammed him with a hammer strike into his back, making him crash into the arena floor. Jiren didn't stop as he grabbed Goku by the waist and swung his body in a circular motion, which led to Goku crashing into several boulders before one final swing into the ground, which caused Goku to yell in pain.
"It's over!" Jiren picked up Goku by the hair and stared at him. "You're not ready to face me. Not in your current level of power. Begone!"
Jiren shot Goku away with a red blast, sending him hurling out of the arena. Everyone thought Goku was done, considering Jiren turned around and began to walk away.
"Where are you going!" A voice yelled out, stopping Jiren and shaking the arena. With a mighty yell, some sounding like a beast's roar. Goku charged in at Jiren in Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-Ken.
"Impressive," Jiren muttered, seeing Goku's power stack considerably.
Jiren brought up his arms in a cross manner, blocking Goku's punch, which was stronger than before, sending him flying across the arena in a matter of seconds. Goku sped like a bullet and landed several jabs and masterful punches into Jiren, who was trying his best to defend himself. Finally, Goku kicked Jiren's hip and flipped away. As Goku did this, he quickly shot off a swift Kamehameha.
Jiren lowered his arms and prepared a red ki blast in the middle of his right palm before shooting it into the Kamehameha, causing the two attacks to explode upon meeting.
Celeon, who stopped fighting Toppo, watched the fight between titans on the highest rock in the area. Celeon wouldn't miss the opportunity to learn how Jiren fights. Jiren was hyped up to be stronger than his God Of Destruction, if not all of them, but that was to be seen in the future; for now, Celeon would watch this fight intensely.
Jiren elbowed into Goku's neck, knocking the Saiyan down, but Goku rolled to the left, avoiding Jiren's stomping attempts. Goku shot a ki blast into the ground, propelling himself away from Jiren, but the gray alien was on his trail, landing a few unseeable punches and a ki blast for added damage.
Goku was beginning to get overwhelmed by Jiren's blows; they were all like falling fortresses, even shooting meteorites. It stunned Goku just how strong Jiren was, which slightly unnerved him. However, Goku had to keep his universe from being erased. He wasn't going to lose!
Suddenly Goku withdrew from his most powerful form, shocking everyone watching; even Jiren stopped, with a baffled expression and a curved eyebrow.
"As it stands, I won't be able to beat you with my fists. But I have a technique I want to try out!"
Goku jumped from one pillar to the tallest in the entire arena. Then, everyone stopped fighting, seeing as Goku was the main contender to look at.
"What're you planning?" Jiren asked curiously.
"A Spirit Bomb. My strongest attack! Although, I'm going to need some time to charge it up," Goku said sheepishly.
Jiren grunted nonchalantly. "Take as much time as you need. If this technique is as strong as you say, I'll wait!"
Goku chuckled with a silly grin on his face. "Well, alright! Don't say I didn't warn you."
"Spirit Bomb, eh? I wonder what this will be," Celeon said to himself before he looked to his side to see Caulifla, Kale, and Cabba standing next to him; they were also interested in the Spirit Bomb technique.
Goku raised his arms from his perched spot. "EVERYONE! LEND ME YOUR POWER!"
"Oh, I get it! Sure, here you go!"
"Hmph, I'll lend my energy just this once!" Vegeta said as he raised his hands, as well as everyone in Universe 7, and unexpectedly, Celeon did as well.
"W-What are you doing, Big Brother?"
"We need Jiren out of the tournament; if I can lend my help, I will," Celeon said with a sly grin. "In plus, Jiren scares me. He's calm and powerful. Two deadly mixes."
"I see."
The Spirit Bomb took a minute to form, a giant blue orb of mass energy. Goku stared up at it with a wide smile on his face.
"HERE IT IS! THE UNIVERSE 7 SPIRIT BOMB!"
"Hmm," Jiren looked at the attack with a stoic expression. Jiren could feel the immense power coming from it.
"HERE IT GOES, HIYAH!" Goku moved his arms down, sending the Spirit Bomb toward Jiren.
"These mortals are something else," The God Of Destruction, Iwan, said as he stared at the Spirit Bomb with a relaxed gaze.
Jiren motioned his arms upward, creating a strong force to catch the attack. Goku from his spot snickered in surprise as he wasn't expecting Jiren to catch the attack.
"HMPH!" Jiren said as he started to push back the attack.
"TCH! HA!" Goku charged into Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-Ken, trying his best to fight back Jiren's power over his own attack. Jiren was absurdly strong. He was on a completely different level.
Everyone stared in disbelief, watching Goku's Spirit Bomb be pushed back, except Universe 11; this was what they were expecting.
Goku's eyes widened exponentially, feeling the Spirit Bomb inch it's way toward him in his effortless attempt at maintaining it. "RAAAAAAAAH!"
Goku's monstrous yell echoed throughout the void, but he was soon silenced as he gave out, falling into the Spirit Bomb before it caused a mighty explosion that wiped out an entire section of the stadium; the explosion rang out most of the fighters from Universe 4 and 3.
"H-He's gone!" Caulifla said with a stunned expression.
"That was originally Goku's attack, so Jiren will not be eliminated," The Grand Minister's voice echoed for everyone to hear.
"Tch!" Celeon said as he kept his emotions intact. If Goku was dead, it was his fault. This stupid tournament was killing innocents!
Just as Zeno was about to push Goku's icon on their God-Pad, a pillar of a divine glow exploded from the area Goku was supposedly dead. Beerus looked on with a toothy grin on his face.
"He's back!"
Celeon watched as his teacher seemingly came back from the dead but with a different aura to him. Celeon could feel the slightest divine presence within Goku. One thing Celeon noticed about Goku was how his eyes shined their gray hue. And the aura flaring around him.
Just what was this?"
"Whis…is that?"
"It is. Who would've thought he would achieve that form in this tournament? Ultra Instinct."
Vados ears twitch, hearing her Brother mention the divine technique, Ultra Instinct. It was something she wished to teach Celeon, but if Goku could do it, so could he. At least, that's what she thought. Celeon was a calm fighter, but his evil-like ki might pose a big problem if she were to teach him Ultra Instinct.
Jiren walked up slowly, stopping a few feet away from Goku. "So, you persist? You're more interesting than I thought."
Goku had a stoic expression as he stared at Jiren with blank eyes. Then, suddenly, Goku charged forward, completely shocking Jiren and sending him flying into the large central pillar.
"Such speed!"
Jiren immediately retaliated and went for a jab. Still, Goku's body moved on instinct, avoided the attack, and swiftly went for a gut punch, getting Jiren to react with widened eyes. Goku jumped back, but Jiren trailed behind and went for a furious amount of attacks, all of which Goku was avoiding.
Celeon watched how Goku was, similar to how he would track an opponent's ki and react to it, but this…was on a different plane. Ultra Instinct…an impressive technique. It's like watching Champa trying to hit Vados.
Could that be it? Could all the Angels passively be in Ultra Instinct?
Celeon ducked his head, narrowly dodging an attack. Celeon looked to the left to see the rest of Universe 11, minus Dyspo surrounding him.
"We won't let you fight Toppo! You'll be fighting us!"
Celeon's brows furrowed with interest. "So…are you all going to fight me? I must say, it seems like Universe 11 has a vendetta against me."
The supposed general, Kahseral, spoke up. "You're the reason we lost Kunshi! We won't forgive you!"
Celeon grinned challengingly and got into a stance. "Then let's dance!"
"WAIT!"
"Eh?" Celeon turned his head to see that Cabba jumped in front of him, but what shocked Celeon was Cabba's long hair; it was like he was in Super Saiyan 3 but with black hair.
"I'll fight them!"
"Do you have the stamina to do so?"
"Just trust me, okay?"
Celeon blinked in surprise. "Of course. Don't let me down. Caulifla, Kale, let's go!"
"Don't order me around!" Caulifla said with slight agitation, but she complied nonetheless. Kale timidly nodded and followed behind Celeon.
"Hmph! Do you disrespect us by taking us on by yourself? You Saiyans must all be cocky," Kahseral said before charging in at Cabba.
Cabba didn't respond and charged in as well. Cabba was immediately on the defense as he began to dodge Khaseral's attacks. Still, Cabba immediately dispatched the ones called Zoire, Tupper, Kettle, and Vewon, leaving just Cocotte and Khaseral. Champa laughed in delight seeing Cabba work hard to ensure the safety of Universe 6.
"Y-You're stronger than you look," Kahseral said with surprise. But then, all that was left was him, Jiren, Toppo, Dyspo, and Cocotte.
Cabba, being the person he is, only bowed in respect. "I'm aware of that, and I'm sorry, but I can't hold back!"
Cabba kicked it up, transforming into Super Saiyan, and his face became more stoic in response. Kahseral and Cabba began to trade blows, but both found it hard to land the one attack to the stage for a victory. Cabba jumped back and shot off a quick Galick Gun, but Kahseral created a ki blade and slashed through it easily.
Cocotte seemed to be waiting for an opportunity as she stayed back and let Kahseral fight, but she soon found out that that was her downfall as a stray ki blast knocked into her, sending her flying out of the arena.
Cabba managed to block off Kahseral's ki blade by covering himself in a protective cloak, the same one Celeon does for himself, and struck Kaheral right in the gut, sending spit out of his mouth; Cabba ended it with an arched kick to Kahseral's face, sending him flying through a multitude of boulders. Then, Cabba appeared through the dust and debris and went to attack Kahseral once again, but the general was able to create a ki shield and block off Cabba's attack.
"For someone so young, you have potential. But for the survival of my universe, I will defeat you!"
"Likewise!" Was Cabba's remark, and both fighters went to attack each other.

The next Chapter will be Cabba vs. Kahseral. I felt like Kahseral was done a bit dirty for how much he was hyped up to be, which is why he's one of the last fighters for Universe 11.

That's quite a lot; I didn't bother to write most of them, and Kale's rampage picked them off. But, since we're at the first U.I. Omen appearance, things will heat up from here on out.
(AN, May 26th: Another one done. Sorry about this being late; I'm almost done with this arc as I'm uploading this; chapter 19 is being written. Some of you may not like the ending, but let's face it, I've drastically changed this arc, and it's fanfiction, and I'm having fun; if you want to see what we saw already, go watch the official episodes I'm not about to rewrite a whole arc. I've also got a review from BrownMudee, and I kinda expected this sooner or later. I know you commented a review back in chapter 6, but Power Scaling never made sense in Super, and I'm using both anime and manga as a basis, so you'll be seeing Perfected Super Saiyan Blue and Evolution (AT a later date). Initially, I was kind of going with the flow, but SDBHs has crazy scaling more than mine, anyway. Base Cumber fought with SSBKK Vegito for a bit before using Super Saiyan. Might I add that his Evil Ki (Like Celeon's, who I got inspiration from) greatly increases your base power? Vegeta needed Super Saiyan Blue Berserk Controlled to knock out base Turles (Amped by Evil Ki), my memory is foggy, so I could be wrong, but the scaling in my fanfic shouldn't come as a surprise. I agree I went nuts, but again, this is why I didn't make a U7-centered story; this is still a U6 story, so I have to buff the characters, etc., for the sake of my original arcs. Anyway, I'll see you guys around.)
