First Catches & First Town
Ash & the Pokémon had arrived at Route 1
"Okay, we're here, Lady Arceus told me that this is the place where I will catch my first two Pokémon." Ash said
"Which Pokémon do you think she was talking about?" Gastly asked
"I don't know, she never specified which Pokémon they were." Ash said
"How are you gonna catch them?" Croagunk asked
"Yeah, you don't have any Pokémon to weaken them with, do you need our help even though you haven't caught us yet?" Aipom said
"No, I think I can do this on my own." Ash said
"Ash, I wouldn't recommend that, you remember what happened last time you tried catching a Pokémon on your own?" Ash's 2nd Tauros said
"That's because I was under the effects of the drugs that made me stupid." Ash said
"So, you sure you got it handled this time." Meowth assumed
"I think so." Ash said
"Ash, there's something I wanna talk to you about." Tauros said
"What is it, Tauros?" Ash said
"It's the other 28 Tauros." Tauros said "They want you to trade them away."
"What? Why, I mean I understand that I need to trade them but why is that they want me to trade them away?" Ash asked
"It's nothing personal, Ash, they still believe that you're innocent, it's just that they have been getting a bit restless since you haven't been using any of them in battle." Tauros said
"Oh, yeah, I'm sorry about that." Ash apologized
"No, Ash, that ain't your fault, you have been a great trainer to them, another reason is because they want you to get new Pokémon in exchange for them & believe me when I say this, they're gonna miss you plenty." Tauros said
"I understand, & I'm gonna miss them charging at me all the time." Ash smiled in nostalgia
"Yeah, those were the good ole days." Tauros said
"Hey, I like those girls we met at the roller rink & arcade, Blossom, Bubbles, & Buttercup." Meowth said "What did you think of them, Ash?"
"Well, they're very nice, amazing &...very cute I admit." Ash blushed
"Ooh, looks like someone has a few crushes." Aipom teased
"Oh, I almost forgot, how are Larvitar & Lapras, have they hatched yet?" Ash asked
"No, not yet, but they will soon." Riolu said "The Fish Fossil & Drake Fossil are doing good as well."
"Okay, enough chitchat, how are we gonna find these Pokémon?" Meowth said
"I got an idea." Ash said
Ash pulled out a canister of Pokémon food from his rucksack, pulled out a handful of Pokémon food & placed it on the grass. Ash & the Pokémon hid in the tall grass as they watch from afar
"Ash, are you sure this is gonna work?" Meowth whispered
"It has to, I can't believe I never thought of this tactic before." Ash said
"It's better than the last 2 ideas you had?" Aipom said
"What did he do?" Gastly asked
"He tried to capture a Pidgey with his jacket & he threw a rock at a Spearow." Aipom said
"Wow, guess the drugs in your system really made you THAT dumb, no offense." Meowth said
"None taken…you know, now that I think about that Spearow who is now a Fearow, I failed to notice how much I hurt & angered it because of what I did." Ash said as he sighed "No wonder it didn't want me to catch it, I never even got a chance to apologize to it."
"It's okay, Ash, you'll get a chance to apologize to Fearow when we get back." Aipom assured
"That is if Fearow isn't still pissed." Meowth said
*Rustle* *Rustle*
"Shh, something's coming." Tauros whispered
Just then, two Pokémon came out of the tall grass & revealed to be
"A Shiny Pikachu & Shiny Eevee." Ash said surprisingly
A/N: Before you guys start a riot about the Shiny Pikachu, please read the rest of the chapter.
"Pika/Ee." The Shiny Pikachu & Shiny Eevee said as they sniffed the Pokémon food & began eating
"Wow." Ash said in awe
"Ash, now's your chance, catch them." Riolu said
"Oh yeah, right." Ash said as he summoned a Fast Ball & a Premier Ball "I hope this works."
Ash carefully & quietly took a few steps towards the Shiny Pokémon
"Okay, here goes." Ash said "Go Fast Ball & Premier Ball!"
When Ash threw the Fast Ball & Premier Ball at the Shiny Pokémon, the Shiny Pikachu got sucked into the Fast Ball & Shiny Eevee got sucked into the Premier Ball, finally both Poké Balls closed shut & started shaking
*Shake* *Shake*
"Come on, Come on." Ash thought
*Shake* *Shake*
"Please work, please work, please work." Ash thought
*Shake* *Shake*
*Ding* *Ding*
There was silence for a moment
"I…caught them?" Ash said
"No way!" Meowth exclaimed shockingly
"He actually did it!" Gastly exclaimed
"By himself!" Psyduck exclaimed
"Oh…" Ash said as he fell to his knees
"Ash, are you okay?" Aipom said
"I'm alright, I'm just surprised the Pokémon food tactic worked." Ash said
"Did ya really think that it wouldn't work?" Meowth asked
"Well, I had doubts, but I'm guessing the Pokémon food I gave them really filled them up which made them a bit easy to catch." Ash said
"That's right, Ash, that proves that you're smarter than you think." Tauros said "If you start coming up with an idea like that, don't doubt yourself. In the end, it might just work out."
"Hm, you're right, Tauros." Ash said as he picked up the Fast Ball & Premier Ball
"Hey Ash, I don't wanna add fuel to any fire, but since you caught a Shiny Pikachu as your starter alongside Eevee, does it seem like you're replacing your old Pikachu." Meowth said
"Yeah, why?" Ash asked
"Well, it's just that... don't you feel kinda bad for doing that?" Meowth said
"Hmm…to be honest with you, Meowth, for some reason I don't feel bad for replacing my old Pikachu." Ash said much to the Pokémon's surprise
"Seriously, not even a little bit?" Croagunk asked
"No." Ash said honestly
"So, does that mean you're gonna replace all your old Pokémon with new ones of the same species as them?" Meowth said
"It seems so." Ash said
"Ash, it's not that I'm complaining or anything, but that's a bit out of character even for you." Meowth said
"Meowth, I know I'm not usually the type of person to replace my Pokémon, but Pikachu & the others made their choice when they turned their backs on me for believing that I drugged them & believing a video of me causing chaos. They were my Pokémon & they should've known that I would never do something like that ESPECIALLY Pikachu. I gave them everything a trainer is supposed to give: love, care, mutual trust, EVERYTHING. But the moment I was framed, they acted like what we had together meant nothing to them; all the friendships I had with them, all the bonds we shared, all the battles we faced, all the good times we had, it all meant NOTHING to them the moment I was framed. Just like Arceus, they just threw me away like I was disposable & it broke me." Ash said "Plus, they're probably doing the same thing back in our old world, so if they wanna play the replacement game then that's just fine with me, I'll play along with it."
The Pokémon looked at Ash in sympathy as they never knew how badly he was hurt when his old Pokémon betrayed him & they couldn't blame him. They were also angry at Ash's old Pokémon, how could they believe that Ash would do such terrible crimes after everything they've been through together
"You're right, Ash, I'm sorry if I upset you in any way. You see, I know the reason why most trainers replace their Pokémon is because they want stronger Pokémon. But your reason for replacing your old Pokémon is more understandable." Meowth said "Plus, you're already replacing your old Gengar, Lucario, & Tauros with Gastly, Riolu, & your second Tauros."
"Yeah, & replacing your old Pokémon could be a way as payback against them." Aipom said
"Exactly, & don't worry, I'll still treat my new Pokémon as my family & friends like I always do." Ash said as he looked at the Fast Ball "Still, I'm kinda nervous when I send out this Pikachu to meet it, you know when I first met my old Pikachu, he didn't like me that much & he wasn't exactly obedient towards me."
"You think Professor Oak drugged your old Pikachu into being disobedient like Nurse Joy did to your old Charizard when he was a Charmander." Psyduck said
"That would make sense." Ash said "That old conniving bastard."
*Bzzt**Bzzt*
"Hm?" Ash said as he pulled out his Roto-Arc Phone & looked at it

"Ash, your PokéGauntlet is acting up again." Meowth said as he pointed at the back of Ash's hand
Ash summoned the PokéGauntlet which the ruby shined out in a bright light causing a Light Ball & a Red Stone with a blue & green S-shaped symbol
"Awesome, It's my first day & I already accomplished two achievements." Ash smiled
"What's a Light Ball?" Psyduck asked
"From what I heard, a Light Ball can power up the attacks of Pikachu when they hold it." Meowth said
"That's cool, but what about the other thing?" Aipom said
"The Roto-Arc Phone said it was an Eevite." Riolu said
"Eevite…Eevite…wait a minute." Ash said as it scanned the Eevite with his Roto-Arc Phone
This item is a Eevite, a Mega Stone that can mega evolve Eevee into Mega Eevee.
"…WHAT!?" Everyone shouted shockingly
"Eevee can Mega Evolve!? How is that even possible!?" Gastly exclaimed shockingly
"I thought only fully evolved Pokémon & Pokémon that don't have evolved forms are capable of Mega Evolution!" Meowth said confusingly
"I don't know, but I'm completely at a loss." Ash said
*Bzzt**Bzzt*
"Huh?" Ash said as he looked at his Roto-Arc Phone

Ash's PokéGauntlet shined once again & out from the light appeared a yellow tessen with a red circle on each leaf under brown trims along with one black trim & a brown quarterstaff with Eevee tail-like ends & a dark cloth wrapped around the midsection
"What are those?" Psyduck said
"They look like a battle fan & a bo staff." Tauros said
"What am I supposed to do with these?" Ash said
"Wait, Ash, Lady Arceus mentioned that there are worse enemies than Team Rocket in this world, so I believe you might need those weapons to fight against them." Riolu said
"What? You mean I literally have to fight?" Ash said surprisingly "I mean, fighting with Pokémon I can do, but fighting physically? I don't have any experience with that."
"That's why Lady Arceus sent me with you, not only to train you with your Aura, but also with your physical strength." Riolu said "Don't worry, it'll be alright."
"I hope so." Ash said as he put away the Pikassen & Eeveerstaff(Both Weapons by Forester Designs)
"Hey guys, did you notice the Roto-Arc Phone called them Partner Pikachu & Partner Eevee?" Croagunk said "What could it mean by that?"
"I don't know." Ash said "Oh I almost forgot, now that I caught Pikachu & Eevee, I can recapture you guys again."
"Alright!" The Pokémon said
"Okay guys, back in our old world you were kept in ordinary Poké Balls, so I decided to kick things up a notch, what kind of Poké Balls do you want to be kept in? Aipom, you first." Ash said
"I wanna be caught in a Love Ball." Aipom said
"Okay. Croagunk? Psyduck?" Ash said
"Lure Ball." Psyduck said
"Great Ball." Croagunk said
"Alright, Riolu, Tauros." Ash said
"I'll go with a Great Ball too." Riolu said
"Ultra Ball." Tauros said
"Hey Ash, can you find a Poké Ball that's more my style." Meowth said
"Me too." Gastly said
"Hm, Poké Balls that fit your style." Ash said
Just then, two different Poké Balls appeared in Ash's hand, one Poké Ball was black on top with a coin on the center & gold on the bottom, the other Poké Ball had a few shades of purple ring across it.
"Whoa, what are these?" Ash said as he scanned the Poké Balls with the Roto-Arc Phone
These items are a Money Ball(by u/SilentlyFreezing) & a Shadow Ball(by u/Hyperion-OMEGA).
The Money Ball gives 10% more prize money from trainer battles if the Pokemon it's caught with has battled & the Shadow Ball has higher catch rate on Ghost & Dark Type Pokémon.
"Wow, so there's more kinds of Poké Balls in this world, James would definitely collect these." Meowth said
"I agree, it's amazing" Ash said "Is everyone ready to be recaptured?"
"Yeah!" The Pokémon cheered
After Ash recaptured Tauros, Aipom, Croagunk, Psyduck, & Gastly along with catching Meowth & Riolu, he proceeded his journey & arrived at a town called Traverse Town. When Ash got to the Pokémon Center & got a room for himself, he pulled out the Premier Ball & Fast Ball which contained his new Shiny Pikachu & Shiny Eevee
"Okay, here goes nothing." Ash said as he sent out his new Eevee & Pikachu
"Pi?/Ee?" S. Pikachu & Eevee said as they looked up at Ash & gasped "Ash!?"
"Huh?" Ash said surprisingly
"Is that really you?" S. Pikachu smiled brightly
"Oh my gosh, you're alive." Eevee said happily
"Uh, do I know you?" Ash said confusingly
"Ash, it's me, we saw each other not too long ago." Eevee frowned in confusion
"Ash, you saved me & my friends a couple of times, don't you remember?" S. Pikachu said
Ash thought of it & he had no recollection of knowing a Shiny Eevee let alone a Shiny Pikachu. He was about to say something until his Roto-Arc Phone vibrated, he looked at it & it had a text from S. Arceus
Touch their heads
Ash was a bit confused at first but he didn't question it, so when he touch the two shiny Pokémon's heads, his eyes glowed white for a brief moment as he received their memories
"Wait a minute, you're Chloe's Eevee & Pikachutwo who Mewtwo cloned from my old Pikachu." Ash said shockingly
"Yeah." Pikachutwo & Eevee smiled & nodded
"What are you two doing here? & Why do you have Shiny Colors?" Ash asked
"I'll go first." Eevee said "Ash, when you disappeared, I confronted your old Pikachu about his betrayal."
Flashback
"Pikachu, how could you just betray your trainer like that?" Eevee scolded
"Hey, he was guilty of the crimes, you saw that video." O. Pikachu said
"But Pikachu, that wasn't Ash, he was framed." Eevee said "After what you two have been through together do you seriously believe that he would commit such crimes, you had known Ash for so many years!"
"That doesn't change the fact that he drugged us for his selfish desire to win!" O. Pikachu argued
"Since when has he ever drugged you in order to win, & exactly HOW do you know that he drugged!?" Eevee asked
"Well…he must've put it on our food or did it in our sleep or something." O. Pikachu said
"Seriously!? That's the most dumbest excuse I've ever heard!" Eevee said incredulously
"Oh, what does it matter anyway!" O. Pikachu said "Besides, I was getting tired of him anyway."
"Excuse me?" Eevee glared
"You heard what I said, over the years he's been nothing but an incompetent loser who can't even be a decent trainer!" O. Pikachu said
"How can you say that!? He IS a decent trainer!" Eevee
"If he was decent, then why did he drug us!? Because he saw us as weak!" O. Pikachu said
*SMACK*
O. Pikachu stumbled back as Eevee smacked him with her tail
"How DARE you! Are you really that stupid!? Ash loved you regardless! He didn't care if you were weak or strong, all he cared about was YOU along with the others! You were more than his Pokémon, you were his family, his friends, EVERYTHING! & you're just gonna stand there & say that like all of it was nothing to you! You were so lucky to have him as your Trainer, but now that you did this to him, don't expect a warm welcome if he comes back." Eevee said as she left
Flashback End
"So, that pissant rat got sick of me, huh?" Ash said as he clenched his fist
"Yes." Eevee said sadly "After that, I ran away to go find you."
"Hm." Ash said as he looked at Pikachutwo "What's your story?"
"Well, it started when Mewtwo came to me & the other clone Pokémon to tell us about your 'crimes'." Pikachutwo said
Flashback
"What!?" The Clone Pokémon exclaimed in shock
"Mewtwo, please don't tell us this is true." Venusaurtwo said
"It is." Mewtwo said
"But that doesn't make any sense, why would Ash cause chaos & drug his own Pokémon!?" Pikachutwo said
"Yeah, that doesn't seem like the Ash we know at all." Meowthtwo said
"That Ash we knew before was just a ruse until we found out about his true self." Mewtwo said
"If it was really a ruse, didn't you use your Psychic Powers to see if he was truthful or not?" Charizardtwo asked
"..." Mewtwo paused
"Wait a minute, you never bothered to do that, did you?" Pikachutwo glared suspiciously along with the other Clone Pokémon
"Everyone, there was enough evidence of Ash convicting the crimes." Mewtwo said
"So you just jumped to conclusions!? Is that what you're telling us!?" Blastoisetwo said in outrage
"No, I wasn't." Mewtwo said
"Well, it sounds like it to us, & it sounds like you let your anger blind you from the truth." Charizardtwo said
"I can't believe you didn't use your powers to see if he was telling the truth! That is injustice!" Venusaurtwo said disappointedly
"Everyone, settle down." Mewtwo said
"Don't you tell us to settle down, Mewtwo! You betrayed our hero! He was the one who opened our eyes & prevented us from hurting ourselves which YOU caused! Ash saved you from being captured by Giovanni, if it weren't for Ash, you would still be Giovanni's servant!" Pikachutwo said "You call yourself the most powerful Pokémon, but right now you're just a fake!"
The Clone Pokémon left leaving Mewtwo stunned
Flashback End
"I also went to find you like Eevee." Pikachutwo said "As for how I got here, I saw a light which grew & engulfed me, I couldn't remember anything after that."
"The same thing happened to me, we didn't remember anything at all until you caught us." Eevee said "But we have no idea how we became Shiny Pokémon."
"Hmm." Ash said before thinking "I'm guessing Lady Arceus had something to do with it, she must have wiped out their memories when she brought them here along with changing their colors."
"Ash, we're so sorry about everything that happened to you." Eevee said
"It's okay, I'm grateful that you stood up for me, thank you." Ash said
"Hey Ash?" Pikachutwo said
"Yeah?" Ash said
"Listen, I'm sorry for what your old Pikachu did, since I'm technically his clone, I'm aware that it's gonna make things complicated." Pikachutwo said "So, if you wanna release me, I understand."
"Pikachutwo, I would never release you because of that." Ash said "I'll admit I was a bit hesitant when I caught you, I was nervous because I thought you were just a random Pikachu I didn't know yet & I thought you were gonna shock me when we first met like my old Pikachu did. But now that I know that the Pikachu is someone who I helped & believed I was innocent, I feel very at ease."
"Thanks Ash, I'm glad that you don't hate me for being a clone of him." Pikachutwo said
"You never asked to be a clone & that's not your fault, I would never hate or resent you just because you're a clone of my old Pikachu." Ash smiled
"That's good to know." Pikachutwo smiled back "Also Ash, you don't have to call me Pikachutwo, you can just call me Pikachu if you want."
"Okay." Ash said "Well, we better get some sleep, we got a big day of traveling tomorrow."
"Right." Pikachu & Eevee nodded
Meanwhile back in Ash's old world
"Uh." O. Pikachu gasped softly
"Are you alright, Pikachu?" O. Charizard said
"I don't know, for some reason I feel hurt like I'm not needed anymore." O. Pikachu said
"I feel it too." O. Gengar said
"So do I." O. Lucario said
"Now that you mentioned it, for the same reason Tauros is charging angrily." O. Charizard said "What do you think it could be?"
"I don't know…" O. Pikachu said
(At Cerise's House)
"Mom, Dad!" Chloe said
"What's wrong, Chloe?" Cerise said
"Eevee's gone." Chloe said worriedly
"What? Where did she go?" Cerise said surprisingly
"I don't know, I just left for a moment & when I came back she was gone." Chloe said
"Don't worry, Sweetie, we'll find her, she couldn't have gone too far." Talia said
"I hope not." Chloe said
Back with Ash, he was sleeping in his room but he was having a nightmare
Nightmare
Ash found himself in darkness
"Hello?" Ash said
"Thought you could hide from me, didn't you?" A voice said
Ash turned & saw Arceus from his original world
"Did you actually think hiding will save you from the consequences of your crimes!?" Arceus said "You will never escape from justice, not this time!"
"Arceus, stop, leave me alone!" Ash said
"Mark my words, Ash, I will find you, & when I do, you will be no more!" Arceus said as he prepared his attack "Judgement!"
Nightmare End
"NO!" Ash exclaimed as he woke up
"Ash, are you okay?" Eevee said in alert
"What happened?" Pikachu said
"Oh…sorry you two…I think I need some air." Ash said as he got out of bed & left the room
Ash went to the center of Traverse Town
"Alright Ash, calm down, it was just a dream, it was just a dream." Ash said while panting "He is not gonna find you as long as you're here."
Ash pulled out his Roto-Arc Phone & stared at it for a moment, he wondered if now was the right time to call his only friend Tracey, he thought of it for a moment before making a decision
"Rotom…call Tracey Sketchit." Ash said
Calling Tracey Sketchit
"Hello?" Tracey said
"…Tracey?" Ash said hesitantly
"Ash? Is that you?" Tracey said
"…Yes." Ash said
"Man, are you a sound for sore ears, I heard about what happened." Tracey said
"Tracey, please, I didn't commit any of those crimes, I swear." Ash said
"Ash, it's okay, I didn't believe any of that nonsense & neither did Professor Ivy." Tracey said
"You don't?" Ash said surprisingly
"No, I know you would never do something like that." Tracey said
"That's a relief to hear." Ash sighed in relief
"Where are you, the others are saying that you disappeared, how did you manage to escape?" Tracey said
"It wasn't easy." Ash said "As to where I am, I can't tell you just yet."
"Okay, I understand, are you okay?" Tracey said
"I am now, but back then I got jacked up by everyone except for several who believed I was innocent, my wounds will heal, but…it's gonna leave a lot of scars on me." Ash said
"Oh no, that's terrible." Tracey said surprisingly
"Yeah, but that's not the only thing that's messed up." Ash said
"What do you mean?" Tracey said
"You're not gonna like it, once I tell you, Tracey." Ash said
Ash told Tracey the whole story about his entire Pokémon being sabotaged which shocked him
"Ash, I don't believe this, this is way beyond screwed up." Tracey said
"I'm sorry, Tracey, but it's all true." Ash said
"Unbelievable, & I used to look up to Professor Oak, but now I definitely lost my respect for him." Tracey said "That wasn't even fair that he & the others did that to you?"
"No, it really wasn't fair, what's worse is that there was no justice in all that, so they got away scott-free with ruining my journey along with my life." Ash clenched his fist in anger before sighing in order to calm down "But the bright side is I'm starting over from scratch on a brand new journey as a Pokémon Trainer with no one interfering."
"That's good, but how's that?" Tracey said
"I'll explain that another time." Ash said
"Oh, okay…Ash, I'm very sorry I wasn't there to defend you & I'm sorry you got hurt & got everything taken away from you because of the incident." Tracey said "But don't worry, I met someone who will help me prove your innocence, we're working on a plan for it."
"You're doing that for me?" Ash said surprisingly
"Of course, you're my friend, Ash, you've done so much for me, now it's time for me to return the favor." Tracey said
"Tracey…thank you." Ash said as he shed a tear
"It's what friends are for, Ash, just hang in there, you'll be proven innocent in no time." Tracey said
"I will, it was nice talking to you, Tracey." Ash said "Keep me updated & keep this a secret from everyone, you can tell the people who believed I was innocent after my innocence had been proven."
"Okay, goodbye." Tracey said
"Bye." Ash said as he hung up
Just then Ash noticed something staring at him from a few feet away, what he saw was a short shadow-like creature with yellow eyes, twisted antennae, three claw-like fingers on each hand, & big feet. Ash slowly approached the creature with curiosity & carefulness.
"Hey, little guy, can I help you?" Ash said before he was almost struck by the creature which caused him to jump back "Agh! Hey, what'd you do that for?"
Just then a dark shadowy circle surrounded Ash & more of the creatures appeared, he summoned his Eeveerstaff & Pikassen but they got knocked away by a couple of those creatures
"Oh man, I was NOT prepared for this." Ash said
"Swoobat, Air Slash!" A voice said.
Suddenly the creatures were hit by multiple light-blue blades of energy which caused them to be dissolved. Ash looked & saw a teenage boy with bright blue-green eyes & silver hair wearing a vest that has a yellow collar & is yellow in the front & black on the sides & back with two black crisscrossing straps that go over his chest, tight black bracelets on his wrists with black gloves, blue pants, & blue & white shoes with black straps. Next to the boy was a Shiny Swoobat.
"You shouldn't be out here alone in this area without a Pokémon to defend yourself." The boy said
"Sorry, I didn't know I was gonna be ambushed, thanks for saving me Mister…" Ash said
"Riku." Riku(Kingdom Hearts) said as he turned his back "I should get you back to the Pokémon Center, come with me."
"Wait, what were those things?" Ash asked
"…They were Heartless." Riku said
"Heartless?" Ash repeated
"Living manifestations that are born when people's hearts are consumed by darkness. If you encounter them again, be sure to have your Pokémon with you or use a weapon, & I highly suggest you start training on how to utilize those weapons you just had." Riku said
"Hm." Ash nodded in understanding

There you have it, everyone, Heartless from Kingdom Hearts exists in the Alternate Universe & it looks like Ash is in for a wild ride. Now, I decided to use Forester Designs' Pokémon-based weapons along with fanmade Poké Balls for this story, I was a bit wishy-washy about using them since they're not mine & I don't intend on taking credit, so I think I'm fine as long as I credit the original owner. But other than that, I hope you all enjoyed the new chapter. Also, the Achievements was something inspired by RageRevan's Determined Huntsman which I highly recommend reading.
