Her palisman it was hatching

Oh titan her palisman was finally hatching

She'd carved an egg so her palisman would have the chance to decide for itself what it'd be like she did bit by bit the palistrom wood cracked away its form glowed a bright purple

Luz's staff rose out of her purse

EEEEEE Luz squealed in her head as she held onto her staff her the purple light was still so bright but she was beginning to make out her palismans form shining through the light

"Luz has her staff" Gus said

"Why does that make me nervous" Willow asked

"Because it's Luz" Hunter answered

"Don't be mean Hunter" Amity elbows the golden guard in the chest Luz ignored his conversation she was so focused on her palisman

"Guys come meet my palisman"

"Oooh this is so exciting what could it be a dragon" mom speculated

"A spider" Vee asked

"A spooky bat" Willow guessed

"An owl like Edas" Gus guessed

"Ooh an otter" Amity guessed the animal Luz considered dressing to Grom as

"Something from Azura" Danny guessed

"Good guesses you're all right" Luz answered smugly as her palisman flew up changing into a variety of forms before changing into a purple snake with an orbed green tail

"She's a snakeshifter her name is Stringbean and she's perfect" Luz said holding Stringbean in her hands Stringbean nuzzled her head against her cheek

"You're perfect too" Stringbean said

EEEEEEEEEEEEE Luz squealed in her head again her bond with Stringbean was already strong enough that she could understand Stringbean this was one of the best days of her life

Stringbean flew over to her mom "oh you're so precious" she said as Stringbean nuzzled against her cheek before floating over to Vee giving her the same treatment than to Danny "hi Stringbean it's nice to meet you" Danny said Stringbean transformed into a dog licking Danny before flying back to Luz changing into her staff form

"I can't wait to show Eda and King" Luz said happily running her fingers over the top of Stringbeans head

"They'll love her" Amity agreed before she grimaced "although Hooty might eat her"

Oh yeah that was a concerning thought Luz would have to tell Hooty not to eat her palisman

Also make sure Stringbean didn't turn into a bug around the House Demon

"King might too" Luz said realizing her little brother might also be a possible predator

"Eda might three" Amity added before the two witches laughed

Danny walked over to her "don't worry I'll protect Stringbean from getting digested" Danny promised Luz smiled kissing Danny

"Thank you Danny for following me" she said

"I was worried about you we all were" Danny said before he walked over to her papis grave "hi Mr. Noceda I'm Danny and I'm dating your daughter we've only ever been on the one date but your daughters really amazing" Danny said using his ice powers he made a flower putting down next to Luz's

"I'm not the only one who thinks that" Danny said getting up he stands next to Luz

Luz watches as Willow steps forward with a wave of her hand everyone of her friends has a flower in her hand "your daughters my best friend she helped me tons she's also got me into trouble tons"

Amity steps forward next "hello Mr. Noceda this is the second time I'm offering you flowers the first time I was with Luz on the anniversary she's an extraordinary person I'm sorry you're not here to see that"

Gus steps forward next placing his flower down before he stands up "did I do that right" he asks solmemly without the usual excitement that was there when he asked about the human realm "I wouldn't want accidentally do something offensive"

"You did wonderful Gus" Luz said with a nod Gus nodded giving her a hug Luz happily hugged him back "if you ever feel like that again talk to someone okay"

Luz nods hugging him back "I will Gustanimo I promise"

The last to place a flower is Hunter "your daughter is a gigantic pain and a nuisance" he says looking to Luz being a mature responsible young lady that she is Luz retorts by sticking out her tongue

"But she will fight like a mother Slitherbeast to protect who she cares about somehow I'm fortunate to be one of those people" he said bowing his head before standing up giving her dads headstone a salute before walking off

Luz smiled hugging her friends "I love you guys"

"We love you too Luz" Willow said
