Returning Home And A New Journey Begins

Thank you for all of the reviews and I will try to get new chapters up when I finish them so please bear with me. Sorry A lot of things have been happening so I am sorry for the late update.

Chapter 8

It has been one month since the fellowship came to the woods of Lothlórien. It was at this time Kagome came to Randi to tell him he could stay with the little ones. Though he was not happy about it he said, "If that is your wish my Lady. So be it I will stay, but when the time comes for me to be with you again I will be there."

As they made it to the boats Kagome stopped suddenly touching a hand up to her eyes before falling to her knees. As she went down the Lady Galadriel was at her side in minutes linking their minds so that she could see what she was. Legolas and Haldir were there in 10 minutes. Galadriel saw all that was to happen in the next few weeks after the fellowship left. "Umm okay, Randi you saw that right?" "Yes." "Then I'll leave it to you when the time comes and please have them be careful." "Of course I'll train them myself with the help of their mother."

Legolas was confused and worried as to what he saw as he touched Kagome's arm to catch her from falling over. He saw the whole vision and wasn't happy that what he saw could come to pass. "Do you think I can send a message to my father so he may be prepared for anything?" "Yes, I can have it flown there by one of your messenger birds as well as by foot with some help that will come in handy for him."

"I will send two of my pups with the foot messenger so they can get more experience fighting all types of enemies as well as make more elf friends." Luna said. "As well as two with the messenger for Rivendell if that's ok with you my Lady." "When I contact you I think it would be better to go to Frodo when the time is right. Randi If you can please keep your mind open for when I call for you to come to me. Or with the Reinforcements. That'll end up coming to help me and the fellowship that way we will have less chances of losing human life or any life for that matter." "We will Ms. Kagome."

Time skip

They floated down the river for two to three days. On the last day they pulled off to the west side of the river for a small break. While they were resting Frodo and Boromir disappeared so she went to look for them. As she hears shouting. "FIND THE HALFLINGS AND THE FEMALE ELF!" She links her mind with Luna and tells her to get ready to come. "I have a feeling Frodo and Sam are about to leave for Mordor within the next hour. So she can be on the other side of the river in the bushes waiting for them."

As Luna was about to leave she had stopped and told Lady Galadriel that she was on her way to meet up with Frodo and Sam. So she knew it would be close to when they needed to send their troops to help the other Elven kingdoms.

Kagome came upon A group of Uruk-hai and started to fight them with Boromir, Pippin and Merry. As the fight went on Boromir pulled out his horn and blew it twice. She was fighting when she saw a Uruk-hai with a bow about to shoot so she threw the barrier that she had been working on on Boromir just after the arrow hit. Pippin and Merry were doing good until they saw Boromir fall to his knees with two arrows in his body. Not able to see the barrier, they think the worst and are soon picked up and carted away. Kagome is fighting the best she can when she is hit on the back of the head and is picked up as well.

As the others of the fellowship come to the scene. Legolas cannot help but feel helpless as Kagome is taken away along with Merry and Pippin. When they were out of sight he started to lose energy as well as the others; the leader of the Uruk-hai was killed taking the last of the energy from Aragorn.

As Sam and Frodo get to the East Shore they meet up with Luna. Continue on to Mordor while they get to the top of the mountain before entering Mordor. Frodo says, "I'm glad you're with me. Sam and Luna I wouldn't have it any other way."

"Come on, let's hurry, Frodo and Sam have reached the East Shore. Do you mean follow them?" " Frodo's fate is no longer in our hands." "Then it's all been in vain. The fellowship has failed." "Not if we hold true to each other. We will not abandon Pippin, Merry and Kagome to torment and death. Not while we still have strength. Leave what can be spared, we travel light. Let us hunt Orcs!" "Yes!"

Three Days Later With Kagome

As the Uruk-hai ran Pippin dropped his leaf clip for his cloak when the Uruk-hai smelled man flesh and went faster. While they ran some of Kagome's daggers fell out of their holders as well.

…Dream...

"My dear Kagome when you awaken you will find that the Uruk-hai are under attack. So you will have to be quick and free. Pippin and Merry have them run into the forest. Then you will find that a man named Eomer will give you a horse that is Kirara reborn in this world for you. She has just lost a good master that has no family; he was an orphan and raised her very well. She'll know it is you the moment you say, "Hello my old friend." She is now one of the Meares and granddaughter to Shadowfax."

...End Dream...

Kagome woke up to Pippin and Merry trying to wake her. "Oh my Head." looking around "Merry get one of my Daggers and cut your binds then free Pippin and me." As he was about to free Kagome a horse came out of nowhere and almost smashed them but Kagome's quick thinking saved Merry and Pippin.

But she got hurt more then as she hit one of the horses hooves with her head. As she yelped in pain the rider jumped off to see what made the noise. Found that it was a female elf bound with a head injury on top of what he just did to her. "I'm sorry, are you ok? Let me get you free then you hide in one of the trees ok." "Thank you good sir I will." Kagome then whispered, "Pippin and Merry run for the forest, you'll be safe in there. The others should be there by sunrise. Do not hang around. Keep running, I have a feeling an orc will follow you."

So they did as Kagome was doing a little healing to her injuries, the fighting finished and the same man that helped her came to her as well as a man that looked like he was the leader of them all. "Éomer I found an Elf maiden while fighting. She was bound and injured but I also hurt her with my horse. On accident I freed her and told her to climb a tree and hide while we finished the fighting."

"That was good thinking on your part. I can see her now." Kagome climbed down as carefully as possible. Éomer Looked at her and saw dry blood in her hair and on her face but he could tell that she had treated some of her wounds.

"What is your name? Miss, do you know where you are?" "My name is Kagome. I was traveling with some companions but I was in a fight and was knocked unconscious and taken along with two others but I hid them in the trees also. No, I have a feeling they are too far away to hear me as hobbits. They look like children to your eyes. But I think they are safe for now until companions that were tracking us find them."

"You are in Rohan, The Land of the Horse Lords. It would not feel right to just leave you here's a map. You should go to the capital Rohirrim and meet with my sister. Her name is Éowyn and she will make sure you are well taken care of. I can tell your other friends that are looking for you where they may find you."

"I do have healing authorities. If there is any way I can help, I'm more than happy to lend my services." "If you can, I have a cousin that was badly injured and was ambushed by Orcs. I do not know if he is still alive or if he has passed, but if you can. If there is still time for you to save him, can you try that is all I would ask. As well as be careful around Grima Wormtongue. O and my cousin's name is Théodred, he will be the next king of Rohan when the time comes."

"I had a vision that foretold me helping a prince somewhere. It must be your cousin." Éomer whistled and three horses came forward. Kagome could see which one was Kirara by the black and red diamond on her forehead. "These horses lost their previous masters, they were good people you can choose one to keep as your own." "Thank you for the offer. I think I should choose the one with the diamond on her forehead if she will have me. Hello my old friend. It is good to see you again."

"You knew this horse before. Then you know what her name is. We called her Epona for she is a descendant of the legendary Meares that roam the fields of our land. I do believe she's the granddaughter of the Lord of all horses."

"Yes, I just recently returned from another world where I was on a mission to save it and destroy a powerful jewel and once I was done me and my family that was with me and my family were sent back here. To help in any way I can. In the other world I had a friend with similar design and coloring as her name was Kirara. She had a black diamond with a red outline on her forehead as well. Though she was a cat then and belonged to a woman I thought of as a sister."

"Well then I think you should have her and name her whatever you and her agree on. It is not often that you can meet up again with old friends whether they'd be from another world. Or from a past life you are truly lucky and I do believe we, no my people are lucky that we found you if you are able to save my cousin."

Kirara then spoke, "I would like to go by Kirara again though I'm grateful to my last owner for taking good care of me when I came here. He reminded me of my previous owner and the Otherworld. She was a good person just like him. They both fought to protect the ones they loved though he did not have a family and she did. He had his town or Kingdom to fight for. I'm sorry for spooking you guys right now with my speaking. I've had this ability but I chose not to use it because you guys would think I was possessed. Not all of the Meares can use this ability and we can only use it when we find our true owners or friends as we like to call them. You are right, I'm the granddaughter of Shadowfax, Lord of all horses."

All of Éomer's group were shocked but understood why she did what she was doing. As Kagome was getting ready to leave she asked, "which direction is your capital Rohirrim and I will go there post haste?" By now she has cleaned the blood from her face so as to not cause a scene when she arrived. Éomer said, "Head South from here for three to four days and you should be there. Go around back to avoid Grima Wormtongue and ask for my sister."

"Ok I'll do that though if he tries anything I will make him think twice before messing with me again. Or your sister from the sound of it. Come Kirara let's go so I may help some more people." They were off and made good time as they got to the capital Éowyn had been looking out at the land and saw Kirara coming but with an Elf on her back. She ran for Gamling to tell him that an Elf was coming.

"Hello I was saved by Lord Éomer and given this horse to keep. I came here to help in any way I can. I have healing abilities that may save the life of your sick prince Théodred from whatever he has if you will trust me. You can be in the room with me and him. I've nothing to hide from you. O where are my manners? My name is Kagome Lorien/Higurashi."
