She just wanted to hit something or someone, Josh. Tara was just withdrawn.
Storyn wasn't about to call her dad because he would bring the entire SAMTAC down on Josh. It was risky business so she figured it would be for the best if they just left and with to California, and then a couple days afterwards tell her dad that Tara accepted a job. It was the truth, but not the whole truth. Storyn was broken out of her thoughts by her mom as she was packing her things.
"Storyn honey are you alright? I am so sorry I never asked you. I have been noticing things, that I have to ask about. Since Josh has been gone you have been wearing more tank tops and shorts, and while josh was around you were covered up. Did something happen?" asked Tara.
"Mom Josh molested me. He also tried to, well you know. I hit him and left. That was the night I stayed the night at AJ and Punk's place. Yes my friend lives with her boyfriend, but I felt safer there than here with Josh, and that says a lot since when I was an infant I was brought to, and grew up in the SAMTAC clubhouse. I am tough, but I do have weaknesses, and you are one of them and so is getting violated." said Storyn.
"That son of a fucking bitch! Honey I am so sorry. Your dad sent you to me for some reason, but I feel like a fucking failure." said Tara.
"You are not a failure mom. Josh is a prick, and he didn't deserve you. There was a reason why dad chose you out of all people. He knew about you and Jax, and well in a way wanted Jax to know you were okay, I was okay, and that you could have the daughter you have always wanted as well as the mom that I have always wanted to have. I didn't want to leave Tacoma, but now I love you mom. You and dad are my parents as far as I am concerned." said Storyn embracing Tara.
"I love you too. I never thought that I would fall in love again until you came into my life." said Tara.
"Lets get our stuff together and hit the road. All that dad knows is that you are moving for a job, and he doesn't know shit about Josh, and what he did to me or you." said Storyn.
"Okay could you watch the mouth please?" said Tara.
"Sorry I'm so used to expressing myself. Dad didn't care if I cussed, and nobody at SAMTAC cared if a cuss word or a few came out he just looked the other way and so did everyone else." said Storyn.
"Could you drive us to Charming? I am weak from the abortion, and then the beating from Josh." Tara changed the subject because she felt like she should be the one in charge, but the daughter she had come to know in love was independent, mouthy, and loyal, and loving. She didn't want to keep her from being who she was.
"It's okay I have no problem with you driving my car, but I'll drive us." said Storyn.
"So could you tell me about what made your dad think he wasn't worth having you, and then sent you to me?" asked Tara.
"Oh that will be the story for our road trip. Jen is a fucking bitch. Sorry." Storyn added. She hated Jen. She was nothing, but a selfish bitch that nearly made her dad relapse into drugs.
It was a couple days later when Storyn and Tara began the drive from Chicago to Charming. Storyn left out that she got molested, and beat up, by Josh, and that her mom got beat up, and raped by Josh. She just told him that they were moving for a job, and that Jonathon Knowles, the town drunk, had passed away. Storyn felt so bad for lying to her father because she had never lied to him in her life. The Samtac Clubhouse was her home before the Jen shit, and her moving to Chicago. Storyn felt that she should hide some things to spare her parents pain.
Storyn knew that Jax had picked Kozik to send his only biological daughter to Tara because for one she needed a real mom, and for two so Jax would always know that she was safe. Sneaky ass bikers. Though true feelings developed, and no matter what anyone said Tara Knowles was her mom, and Herman Kozik was her dad. Anyone who said otherwise could go fuck themselves. "Well mom that's it. You ready to hit the road?" asked Storyn as she put the last of everything in her Chevy.
"Yeah sweetheart lets go. Did you let your friends know that you are moving?" asked Tara.
"Yes mom they know. I told them after fuckwad called me, and I let them know that I was probably going back to Tacoma. Josh was like why did I drive you to get an abortion, and I told him flat out why. I dont' have shit to hide from anyone, and I'm as real as real can get. Don't like it fuck off." said Storyn. Sorry you are not used to my mouth, but nobody at Samtac really cares. They just like how I'm honest and tell it how it is." she added.
"I'm getting used to it sweetheart. Come one lets get going. Also tell me all about Jen. In your words you say you hate the bitch." said Tara getting into the passenger seat of her daughter's Chevy Tahoe.
"Oh that bitch told dad that he was nothing, but worthless, and was trying to get him once again hooked on Heroin. With his past addiction to Crystal Meth she tried to make him addicted to drugs once again. Okay he drinks, and yes he will smoke a joint here, and there, this is hard core shit. She was manipulating him, and then she said that he wasn't a good father, and to send me away. Whatever bitch. She was the problem. Long story short she broke him down, but before dad could get hooked on drugs again Lee interfered, and then I was sent to you. I love you Tara, and I'm glad. You and dad are my parents, and well fuck everyone else. Sorry for the words. Storyn said as she drove.
"That's okay I'm getting used to it." said Tara. "So do you have a boyfriend?" she asked.
"Okay Tara I am going to be brutally honest on this one. I wouldn't call him my boyfriend now, but one day it could go that way. Our relationship is intimate, but not sexual. You see we have deep meaningful conversations. He hardly talks, but with me he never shuts up. Basically we know everything about one another. His mom Maria is battling MS, and he knows that I am trying to keep my dad on the straight and narrow. Also why I'm with you. He knows it all. Including Josh. It was a verbale fight to keep from coming to Chicago and literally killing Josh for laying hands on me for trying to protect you mom. His name is Happy Lowman. He is my dad's best friend, and is in Samtac also. He has a rep known as the Tacoma Killa. He has so many layers that only I know." said Storyn as she drove.
A "Okay he has got to be at the very youngest in his thirties. What is your relationship. Please tell me you haven't had sex." said Tara.
"Mom there are so many ways to be intimate that are not sex. No we haven't had sex. I am a virgin. We decided together that we would wait until I was eighteen. Legal, but till than we have a mental, and emotional relationship. Every time Happy has wanted to lose control and kill someone he shouldn't I have always calmed him down and talked him down. Lee has asked me on more than one occasion to talk him down. It went both ways. Every time Jen did something and I wanted to kick that bitch's ass Happy talked me down. We have held one another, and slept with each other, but it was just sleeping and holding one another. We haven't even kissed. I hate how these kids just want to hook up with someone because they are the most popular boy in school, or the quarterback. My friends Kaitlyn and AJ in Chicago are all about their men, and looking for a future. Heck they are in it for the long haul." said Storyn.
"Wow daughter you are more complex than I thought, and I agree with you waiting. I have seen so many teen pregnancies because of those who don't want to wait or get pressured into shit. You have a good head on your shoulder, and if you trust your man, and your dad does I trust him to. Though if he hurts you I'll fucking deck him and cut off his manhood. And here I go cussing like a sailor." said Tara as Storyn, and her mom just laughed as they drove.
~Two Months later season 1~
Storyn had grown to like the little town of Charming. She had helped her mom to get her dad's Cutless drivable thanks to trying to help out and learn at Lee's Automotive in Tacoma. Now she had her car, and she could do what she wanted. Charming High had the cliques, but she got along with everyone. She thought that Maryse Oswald was a sweetheart, and her boyfriend Mike was hilarious, and would always crack her up. Then there was Louise who had to work because her mom was on the needle, and her father had no idea what was going on.
Her mom loved her job, and was good at it so the mother daughter duo hardly saw one another since their lives were so full. Storyn still talked to her boyfriend, and told him everything, and he told her everything about what was going on in Tacoma. Storyn had promised to make a trip to Bakersfield to see his mom instead of doing something with her friends.
It was another night, and her mom was set to work the early schedule so she decided to go see Louise at work. Poor eighteen year old senior was at work all by herself so Storyn wanted to just go see her and hang out. So what she came to see her friend. She was going to buy a couple cokes, and snacks. Lousie and Maryse were her two best friends at Charming High.
"Hey what's up bitch?" said Storyn.
"Gosh it's so boring. I am so glad that you came to see me." said Louise.
"Well Mom has an early shift tomorrow so I figured why not." said Storyn.
"How do you handle and long distance relationship. Being so far away and not being able to fuck must be hard." said Louise.
"Our relationship is more than that. We talk, hang out, and keep it honest. I drive to Bakersfield once a week to see his mother. It's crazy since he's thirty five, and I'm sixteen, but our relationship is more than sex. We have a future." said Storyn.
"Okay what if he cheats. Men are not perfect. David cheated on me with some girl, and then broke it off with me saying that I'm not what he wants because of my age." said Louise.
"Well one thing about having an honest relationship/friendship you have to be honest about what you want and what you don't want. I told Happy that if he wanted to be my man when I turned eighteen that he would not ever sleep with another bitch. If so I was done. So I trust him to listen, and if not I will find someone else. I'm not like the Bellas sleeping with Daniel and John because they are the first and the second string quarterbacks on our highschool football team. I know my worth, and I'm high maintenance. said Storyn.
Before Louise could say anything the VP of Samcro walked in. "Hey can I get a pack of smokes?" he asked.
"Sure." said Louis adjusting her top. Storyn just rolled her eyes. She was in an relationship and her friend could do whatever she wanted. Jax grabbed a pack of condoms. "You know you can buy those by the bulk. You'll be able to save money." she said.
"One pack at a time keeps me humble. Hey I'm Jax Teller. What is your name?" he asked flirting heavily with Storyn.
"Storyn Kozik. I have a man so I'm not interested playboy." Louise snorted as she snuck in a children's book.
"it was my favorite," Louise said as all of a sudden there was a fireball in the distance. "What the hell?" Jax ran out and Storyn left also knowing everything and thought that she should just head home. On her way home she called her boyfriend.
"Happy somebody blew up the warehouse." said Storyn as she drove.
"Relax I"ll be there. Where are you going?" Happy asked.
"Mon's dad's house. I feel safer living at the clubhouses since I have lived at SAMTAC since I was born before I was sent to Tara. I'm fucking scared of Josh showing up. I have never felt any fear like that in Tacoma because I have always felt safe." said Storyn.
"I'm coming there, and tell your mom that she should let me stay with me, because you have always been safe with me. I'll stay at the house while I'm there." said Happy.
"Even though there is a restraining order I fear Josh. He is fucking obsessed with mom." said Storyn.
"I'm on my way baby. Just relax, and if you ever fear unsafe go to the SAMCRO Clubhouse. They will not turn you away after I let them know a few things." said Happy.
"Thank you so much for looking out for me. I love you. I know I'm only sixteen. and some say I don't know what that word means, but that's what I feel." said Storyn.
"I feel the same way honey, but lets do this by the book, and wait till you are of age. That way no one will ever tell us we are wrong." said Happy.
"I will not stop sleeping with you. Sleeping is not sex." said Storyn.
"I get it, and I understand." said Happy.
