Chapter Ten: The Final Phase
Janja gathered his clan and addressed Bobo, revealing the final phase of his plan.
Janja: "Alright Bobo, here's the final part of my plan. I want you to lead a herd of gazelles into the Outlands." He instructed.
Bobo: "The Outlands? I thought no one was allowed to go there," Bobo said, skeptical.
Janja: "Oh, it's okay. We'll make an exception for you." He assured him.
Bobo: "Okay, but if I get in trouble, my parents are gonna be so mad at me. But at least I can talk to Bongo about this." He said, trying to reassure himself.
Janja: "Wait, you know Bongo?" He asked, surprised.
Bobo: "Yeah, he's my younger twin brother. I always tell him everything." He revealed.
*BOM BOM BOM*
Janja: "That's very interesting." He said, a sinister grin spreading across his face.
Cheezi: "I didn't know Bongo's your brother." Cheezi said, shocked.
Chungu: "Me neither." He added.
Janja: "You fur-brains! Not only are they brothers, but they're also twins." He snapped.
Bobo: "Okay, now that we all established that I'm Bongo's brother, can we move on with the plan?" He said, eager to get it over with.
Janja: "Okay, now go bring the gazelles to the Outlands." He ordered.
Bobo: "Sure, whatever." He replied, a hint of irritation in his voice.
Cheezi: "Yeah, I'm getting really hungry!" He whined.
Chungu: "Me too!" Chungu added.
Bobo: "Alright, alright, I'm doing it!" He shouted back, before running off to chase the gazelles.
Bobo began chasing the gazelles around until he had them cornered in a dead end in the Outlands.
Bobo: "Alright, I did what you asked. Now, do I get to have all the fruit in the Pride Lands?" Je asked expectantly.
Janja: "Sorry, Bobo, but there's been a change of plans. How about we eat you first, and then we'll eat all the gazelles you brought us!" He said with a malicious grin.
Bobo: "What? B-b-but, I trusted you." He stammered, fear creeping into his voice.
Janja: "Well, next time, you should always be careful who you trust. Especially hyenas!" He taunted.
Bobo: "P-please don't hurt me," Bobo pleaded.
Janja: "Oh, we won't. Unless, you bring Bongo here so we can finally defeat The Lion Guard." He offered, his eyes narrowing.
Bobo knew that Bongo was Fuli's best friend, he couldn't bring himself to put his little brother in danger.
Bobo: "No, I will not let you hurt Bongo!" He declared firmly.
Janja: "If you don't bring Bongo, we'll eat him and you too!" He threatened.
Bobo gulped nervously, realizing the grave situation he was in.
