Inside: COMM Room
Steven/Captain Universe and Mabel gave a speech in the PA system for everyone in the building to hear. Mabel was still leaning forward with her hands on the computer panel, speaking in the microphone in front of her, her expression hard, "They shot Rick Sanchez."
Inside: Monitor Controls Room
Agent 13's eyes widen at the information as she listens to Mabel's voice on the PA, "And it won't end there."
Inside: COMM Room
Mabel continues to speak in the microphone in front of her with her hands on the computer panel, her expression hard, "If you launch those Helicarriers today,-"
Inside: Monitor Controls Room
SHIELD tech-specialist agent Cameron Klein is at his computer with his headset on his shoulders and around his neck, looking around with a bit of fear in his eyes as he listens to Mabel's voice as she continues on the PA, "-HYDRA will be able to kill anyone that stands in their way."
Inside: Floor Of Project Insight
Some agents are listening to the PA, while a group of obvious HYDRA agents, as they are not fazed by Steven's and Mabel's voice on the system warning everyone, walk forward on a large catwalk towards a couple of SHIELD agents on guard of a Helicarrier entrance, Mabel's voice says, "Unless we stop them."
The two SHIELD agents look at the group confused, mostly suspicious, as they march forward with no emotion on their faces. The two SHIELD agents share a look and step up, going for their weapons as the group walks closer. Steven's voice on the PA says, "I know I'm asking a lot." The HYDRA agent leading the group quickly takes out his gun and shoots the two SHIELD agents without hesitation, "But the price of freedom is high. It always has been." The HYDRA group steps over the dead SHIELD agents to the Helicarrier.
Inside: COMM Room
Steven/Captain Universe glances at Mabel as she stares at Steven, letting him finish, "And it's a price we're willing to pay." Steven/Captain Universe looks forward, Marcy/Hawkeye standing behind Steven and Mabel, leaning against the window frame/ledge, adjusting her cast, looking forward as she listens, "And if we're the only ones, then so be it." Tambry/Crystal Dove, standing a few feet from Steven on his left, looks at him as she listens, "But I'm willing to be we're not." Tambry/Crystal Dove takes a quiet breath as she looks down. Marcy/Hawkeye looks down at her cast and wiggles her fingers before putting her arm down.
Mordecai/Blue Jay steps forward to Steven/Captain Universe and Mabel. He asks them after Steven finishes the speech. They turn to look at Mordecai, who smirks in amusement, "Did you two write that down first, or was it off the top of your heads?"
Inside: World Security Council Meeting Room
The four council members glare at Nathan after learning the truth about him. Councilman Rockwell says angrily, "You smug son of a bitch." Agent Bismuth and two other agents center the room.
Councilman Singh looks to Bismuth and the two HYDRA agents expectedly, thinking they are SHIELD agents. He gestures to Nathan, who doesn't move. Singh says to the agents like it's obvious, "Arrest him." Bismuth takes out her gun and points it at Singh, who looks at her in shock and disbelief.
Nathan says smugly, "I guess I've got the floor."
Inside: Monitor Controls Room
Everyone in the room is silent and looking around suspiciously, some with fear after hearing the truth. Jasper and her men walk into the room.
Agent 13 looks at Jasper suspiciously as Jasper walks over to SHIELD tech agent Klein, demanding him, "Preempt the launch sequence. Send those ships up now." Tech specialist Klein looks at her. Jasper nods. The agent turns back to his computer and hesitates. Jasper asks him, "Is there a problem?"
Specialist Klein stutters fearfully, "Um..." The tech agent shakes his head nervously and fearfully as Agent 13 and some other agents watch them guardedly.
Jasper demands forcefully, "Is there a problem?"
Klein quickly tells Jasper, "I'm sorry, ma'am." The tech agent takes a few nervous, heavy breaths and builds up the courage before replying, "I'm not gonna launch those ships." He shakes his head, "Captain's orders."
Jasper immediately pulls her gun out and points it at the back of Klein's head, ordering him, "Move away from your station."
Agent 13 quickly walks over to Jasper, pointing her gun at her, "Like he said..."
Suddenly, all the SHIELD agents and HYDRA agents draw their weapons and point them at Jasper and each other, SHIELD agents shouting, "Hold it right there!"
The HYDRA agents shouted, "Put the gun down!"
Agent 13 glares at Jasper, "Captain's orders."
Jasper looks at Klein and moves her gun closer so the gun is touching the back of the tech agent's head, who squeezes his eyes shut and puts his hands up in fear. Jasper tells Agent 13, "You picked the wrong side, Agent."
Agent 13 glares and responds lowly but deadly, "Depends on where you're standing." For a minute, all the agents don't move, aiming their guns at one another.
Jasper glances around the room, lowers her gun to her side, and then drops the gun, making Klein flinch and gasp in fear as the gun makes a loud sound as it hits the floor. Jasper then quickly grabs her knife from her holster and cuts Agent 13's forearm, making her shriek in pain, letting go of her gun as she drops to the floor. Jasper catches the gun and starts firing at the SHIELD agents as the HYDRA agents and the SHIELD agents fire their guns at one another.
Jasper aims her gun at Klein and fires, but Agent 13 kicks the tech agent's wheelie chair, making him move out of the way before he can be hit and then fall to the floor. As the agents continue to fire their guns, Jasper ducks and lowers down, typing quickly on the computer. Klein rolls underneath the computer panel for cover from the bullets. Agent 13 rolls underneath a computer panel as she grabs a gun, rolling to her back and sitting up.
Jasper finishes on the computer and stands up, aiming her gun at Agent 13 who goes up to her knee aiming her gun at Jasper who starts firing at her as Jasper backs away, Agent 13 stands up and ducks a bit as a bullet almost hits her and starts shooting at Jasper as she runs and leaves the room.
The big monitor computer screen says 'OVERRIDE' in red, meaning Jasper released and launch the Helicarriers.
Outside
Three bay doors open in the water as the water moves away from the movement.
Inside: Floor Of Project Insight
The three-bay doors above the Helicarriers open. A male SHIELD agent runs and shouts to the agents in a floor control room, "Close the bay door! Close the bay door now! Close the bay door!"
Suddenly, the HYDRA agents come out of nowhere and start shooting and killing the crew and techs in the floor control room. The bay doors open fully, and the Helicarriers thruster engines turn on.
Inside: COMM Room
Tambry/Crystal Dove and Marcy/Hawkeye watch on the monitor, seeing that the Helicarriers are being initiated. Marcy is standing beside Tambry/Crystal Dove on her right.
Tambry/Crystal Dove sitting at the computers, informs the team, "They're initiating launch."
Outside
The Helicarriers slowly rise in the air. Everyone on board is doing their jobs, unfazed by the rising movement.
Steven/Captain Universe, Mabel and Mordecai/Blue Jay run out of the building and make their way to the Helicarriers.
Mordecai/Blue Jay asks Steven/Captain Universe as they run, "Hey, Cap, how do we know the good guys from the bad guys?"
Steven/Captain Universe answers Mordecai/Blue Jay simply, "If they're shooting at you, they're bad." He looks at Mabel on his right, "Mabel, where's your suit?"
Mabel tells Steven/Captain Universe as she looks at the sky, "It should be here..." In the distance, the Iron Woman suit is flying fast, heading towards her. She points up, "There!" Steven/Captain Universe looks and sees the suit, feeling more assured that she will be okay with her suit now.
As they run towards the edge, Mordecai activates his Falcon wings and flies off, while Steven/Captain Universe jumps down the open bay door with a Helicarrier slowly coming up. Mabel jumps, free-falling, and her suit flies down and starts attaching to her.
Steven/Captain Universe lands down and falls, but quickly rolls to a stand, running forward. As Mabel is about to hit the ground, she holds her arms out in front of her towards the ground, activating her thrusters to stop her from hitting the ground. She quickly flies up.
ALPHA Helicarrier Platform
Steven/Captain Universe runs forward, and suddenly, HYDRA agents shoot at Steven, who flinches, holding up his shield to block the bullets, and he runs towards a crate with metal boxes, cases, and packages.
Steven/Captain Universe jumps up and rolls across a crate filled with cases. He pushes himself up as he swings his legs up and jumps down, stumbling backwards as the HYDRA agents continue to shoot at him, with Steven/Captain Universe blocking them with his shield.
Steven/Captain Universe turns and meets HYDRA agent 1 behind a large metal box. HYDRA agent 1 aims at Steven/Captain Universe, who hits the gun against the box with his shield and then punches him in the face. Steven/Captain Universe grabs his collar and swings him against another box across from them. The HYDRA agent 1's back hits against it, and Steven/Captain Universe hits him in the face with his shield. He then quickly grabs a grenade before the HYDRA agent 1 falls.
Steven/Captain Universe presses his back against the large metal box, unclipping the grenade, and throws it down towards the three HYDRA agents. It explodes in front of them, making the agents fall back from the force of the bomb.
Sky
Mordecai/Blue Jay flies around, looking at the Helicarriers as they slowly fly up one by one. He spins and flies up towards the sky when suddenly he's being shot at by cannons. He quickly spins and turns, avoiding getting shot. Mordecai shouts out in his earpiece, "Hey, Cap. I found those bad guys you were talking about."
ALPHA Helicarrier Platform
Steven/Captain Universe glancing around in his hiding spot, asking Mordecai in his earpiece, "You okay?"
Sky
Mordecai/Blue Jay flies, avoiding the shots as the HYDRA agents continue to shoot at him. Mordecai answers Steven, "I'm not dead yet."
Mabel/Iron Woman flies down, holds her hands out, and blasts at the cannons, successfully taking out two. The cannons then shoot in her direction, making Mabel/Iron Woman turn and maneuver to the right, blasting up and taking out two more cannons before spinning out of the way from another cannon shot. She then activates more of her thrusters and flies up, shooting at a cannon, but grazes it. Mabel/Iron Woman continues to fly around with Mordecai/Blue Jay, avoiding the cannon shots.
Inside: SHIELD Headquarters
World Security Council Meeting Room
Nathan stands and watches from the window, seeing the commotion caused by Steven/Captain Universe, Mabel/Iron Woman, and Mordecai/Blue Jay as they try to stop the Helicarriers launching into the sky.
Holding his phone, Nathan turns and walks back to the council members, saying, "Let me ask you a question." The council members look at Nathan and listen as he walks up to the small table, grabs a glass of champagne, and walks over to Singh, "What if Pakistan marched into Mumbai tomorrow, and you knew that they were going to drag your daughters into a soccer stadium for execution,-" Nathan stands in front of Singh and hands him a glass of champagne, "-and you could just stop it, with a flick of a switch." Singh holds the glass as he glares at Nathan, "Wouldn't you?" Nathan looks at all the council members, "Wouldn't you all?" Nathan looks back at Singh.
Councilman Singh tells Nathan, "Not if it was your switch." Singh tosses the glass aside, and it shatters on the floor. Nathan chuckles humorously. Bismuth takes out her gun and hands it to Nathan. Councilwoman Hawley watches them tensely, and Nathan points the gun at Singh.
