Summary: Nine years after the formation of the empire Anakin Skywalker and Obi-wan Kenobi Have come out of hiding To help rescue the daughter of their friends Bail and Breha organa from the clutches of the Inquisitorious.
The scene opens on alderaan Nine year old Winter Organa has snuck away from the party her parents were hosting, she was walking through the forest of her home world, When she heard something behind her, She turned around and noticed a cloaked figure approaching her.
"Who are you?" Winter asked. As she got a bad feeling from the hooded individual. That's when she was suddenly surrounded by four more hooded figures.
"You're coming with us, Princess Winter Organa." The leader of the hooded figures replied.
"No, I'm not" Winter declared. As she Tried to run back to the palace only did you grabbed by the wrist.
"We have a job to do, Now come along quietly and no one has to get hurt." The hooded figure replied.
"Why are you doing this" Winter demanded. As she tried to fight the hooded figure off of her.
"We're just following orders" The hooded figure replied. As he grabbed her other wrist and began dragging her away.
"Mommy, Daddy, Help!" Winter screamed. As the hooded figures dragged her away. Back in the palace Queen Breha Organa was standing next to her husband senator bail Organa As they observed her unsavory relatives who were parsley loyal to the empire.
"Senator Organa, My apologies, But The grounds alarms have been tripped and security footage shows Vect Nokru, have kidnapped the princess" A guard whispered into his ear.
"Thank you for letting me know." Bail whispered. He then turned to his wife and whispered into her ear.
"Someones kidnapped our daughter I'm going to contact our friends we'll be able to help us." Bail whispered.
"Alright, Let's go then." Breha agreed. As they made their way into a private room and contacted Anakin And Obi-wan via Holo-call.
"I better call both of them." Bail decided. As he sent out a holo-call to Obi wan and Anakin.
"Senator Organa, What can I do for you?" Obi-wan asked.
"Winter has been kidnapped, Can you and Anakin help us." Bail replied.
" It'll be tricky Anakin and I are on opposite ends of the outer rim." Obi-wan mused.
"Did the princesses abductors mention which plant they were heading to?" Anakin asked
"They mentioned they were going to the planet Daiyu." Breha replied.
"Daiyu, that planet is deep within Hutt space, which makes it one of the perfect places for kidnappers to flee to" Anakin noted. There was a hint of his distaste in his voice because he still had a dislike for the Hutt clans.
"That's true, Anakin will arrive a couple of days before me since I'll have to travel all the way from Mandalorian space" Obi-wan reassured.
"That's understandable, Thank you for your assistance" Bail replied. As the holo-call shut off.
Seen immediately transitions to tatooine is Anakin gets changed out of the, simple clothing of a moisture farmer into his Jedi robes he hasn't worn in 9 years.
"So, we finally have a reason to come out of hiding." Anakin mused, as he strapped on his lightsaber.
"Do be careful Ani, from what I've heard from friends who are still in the imperial Senate the inquisitors are still quite active." padme seid as she wants behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist.
"I will, I'll also try to get a message out to Quinlan Voss, and Asajj Ventress maybe they can help." Anakin replied, as he kissed her on the forehead.
"Good idea, I hope they're doing well." padme replied.
"I'm sure they are, I'll let you know when I'm close to reaching daiyu." Anakin replied.
"Alright, be safe." Padme replied. As they shared a kiss before he left.
"I will." Anakin nodded, as he walked out of their room and made his way outside to his starship, A few years earlier they had traded in Padma's Naboo Star skiff, and acquired a G9 Rigger-class light freighter, that he had been customizing for the past couple years, from repainting the ship in gray with yellow highlights across it as a bit of a nod to his personal Jedi Starfighter's from during the clone wars, he had upgraded the hyperdrive at some point to a T-14. As he entered the cockpit he sat down at one the pilot's seat and began starting up the ship, as he finished prepping the ship for take-off he He engaged the engines and took off and made his way into space.
As he was nearing the edge of the system preparing to jump in a hyperspace when heard something getting knocked over. "What was that?" Anakin thought. As he got up from his pilot seat. He left the cockpit and went into the crew quarters of the ship, Discovering that his daughter had snuck a board.
"I'm sorry daddy, I just wanted to see if you were going on a mission, I won't do it again" Leia apologized, As she stood up and hugged him.
"That's okay Leia, I'm not mad at you, But you really shouldn't be here." Anakin replied. At first he wondered how she had gotten aboard without him noticing but then he remembered that his daughter was born with the rare ability to naturally shield her presence in the force an ability that she has been honing that she's gotten older.
"Why, you always seem to have fun." Leia exclaimed.
"I do, But it can be dangerous." Anakin explained, As he picked her up. A thought occurred to him as he looked at his daughter's face and realized she was the spitting image of Winter Organa which gave him an idea, So he decided that it would be a good idea make a stop on Alderaan before heading to the planet Daiyu.
"Do you want to come with me." Anakin asked.
"Yes please, where are we going." Leia asked.
"Well, First we're going to make a stop on Alderaan, to meet with some friends of your mother." Anakin replied.
"Okay, Let's go then." Leia decided. As her father placed her down on the ground.
"We will, I just need to get back to the cockpit and punch in the coordinates." Anakin replied, As they made their way back to the cockpit.
"Alright, Are you ready." Anakin asked. As he took a seat at the pilot's seat and punched in the coordinates.
"Yes, let's go." Leia agreed, As she took a seat at the co-pilot's seat. Anakin grinned as he looked at his daughter and began preparing for hyperspace.
"Alright, here we go." Anakin exclaimed, As he pressed the lever in front of him and they jumped into hyperspace. A few hour's later they dropped out of hyperspace above alderaan.
"Alright, let's land in the royal palace's hangar." Anakin decided. As he engaged the engines and flew the ship to the hangar. As they landed and exited the ship they noticed that Senator Organa was waiting for them.
"Anakin, What are you doing here?" Bail asked, As he hugged the Jedi.
"Well I was on my way to Daiyu, When I Discovered my daughter Had stowed away aboard my ship so I figured it would be a good idea to make a stop here" Anakin replied.
"I see, Where is she?" Bail asked.
"She's right here." Anakin replied. As Leia walked up to Bail.
"Who's this?" Leia Skywalker Asked look up at the man her father was speaking with.
"Senator Bail Organa, It's been roughly nine years, my how you grown you take after your mother." Bail replied. As he knelt down and shook her hand. "Mommy, has told me about you." Leia replied.
"I see, Well I'll tell you more about how I know your mother after we deal with the crisis at hand." Bail replied. As he stood up and turned his attention back to Anakin.
"So, I realized Leia looks similar enough to winter that an idea formed in my head" Anakin began to explain.
"What do you have in mind?" Bail asked.
"Well I was thinking back to when Padme was Serving as Queen of Naboo, and how she had handmaidens that looked similar enough to her that they were able to swap places, taking up the identity of Queen Amidala well padme pretended to be a handmaiden" Anakin explained.
"I see what you're getting at, You're suggesting a Leia pretend to be Winter, in order to lower suspicion that the princess had been taken." Bail nodded.
"Precisely, The only difference between Leia and Winter is their hair color." Anakin replied. Noting how his daughter was a brunette like her mother whereas the photo he had been sent of winter revealed she had blond hair.
"You're right, I'll talk to my wife about the idea, And we'll contact Padme to see if she's ok with her daughter staying here." Bail agreed. As they made their way inside the palace.
"Alright, let's go." Anakin replied. As they walked into the palace.
"So, how is Padme?" Bail asked.
"She's good, She's been helping to run a school on Tatooine, You know she misses being able to perform some aggressive negotiations." Anakin replied, referring to the fact that she missed being able to use a blaster.
"That's good, How has Obi wan been doing" Bail asked.
"He's been doing well, Considering he's primarily been operating out of the identity of Ben Vizila for the last couple of years, Helping to prepare the Mandalorians for when the time is right to rebel." Anakin replied.
"I see, I assume he's heading straight to Daiyu." Bail asked.
"Yes, But he'll be arriving a couple days after I do." Anakin nodded. As they entered the throne room, Where the Queen was sitting on her throne.
"My love, Anakin Skywalker has come to help us find our daughter" Bail informed his wife.
"Thank you for coming" Breha replied. As she got up from her throne and shook Anakin's hand.
"You're welcome, Now onto the reason why I made a detour." Anakin replied. As he placed his hand on Leia's shoulder.
"You see, My daughter Leia has been training in the force,and I thinking it would be a good idea to get her some experience in the field" Anakin explained.
"What are you suggesting?" Breha asked.
"Well, I was thinking it would be a good idea to have Leia pretend to be Winter, That way we don't need to worry about anyone knowing that the princess had been kidnapped." Anakin explained.
"That's a good idea." Breha replied.
"I know, That's why I thought it would be a good idea." Anakin grinned.
"But there's one issue, Winter's hair is blonde and Leia's hair is brown." Breha replied.
"That's a simple fix, She could wear one of our daughters outfits that has a hood now we'll allow her to conceal her hair." Bail suggested.
"I'm fine with the idea, But what about you Leia?" Anakin asked, As he turned to his daughter.
"I would love to help you." Leia Skywalker replied.
"That's wonderful, I'll call Padme and tell her about the idea." Anakin smiled. As he sent a holo-call to his wife.
"Ani, What can I do for you" Padme asked.
"Leia stowed away on my ship, But that's not the reason why I'm calling you, I suggested to Bail and Bertha That since Leia looked similarly enough to their missing daughter that she could pretend to be winter by the time being So that no one realizes the princess is missing" Anakin replied.
"I see, What do you think about the idea Leia?" Padme asked.
"I think it would be a great experience." Leia Skywalker replied.
"That's good, But be careful, I remember when I did this as Queen it's really taxing to balance your true identity while pretending to be handmadein." Padme warned.
"I will mommy." Leia nodded, As the holo-call shut off.
"Alright, Let's get you dressed in winter's clothes." Breha decided. As she stood up and made her way to Winter's room.
"You should go with her." Bail decided. As he turned to Leia.
"Alright, Let's go." Leia agreed, As she followed Breha to Winter's room. Meanwhile back in the throne room.
"So, Do you really think this plan will work?" Bail asked.
"I do, Leia has a lot of potential, I've seen it when I was training her in the ways of the force, She also caused the Kyber crystal that I had recovered from A'sharad hett broken lightsaber to turn blue." Anakin replied.
"I see, That's good." Bail replied. As he walked out of the throne room, Anakin followed him.
"Well I must resume my journey to, Daiyu So that I can rendezvous with only one and resume the search for your lost daughter" Anakin stated
"I see, Good luck." Bail replied, As they shook hands.
"Thank you, I'll see you soon" Anakin replied, As he exited the palace and made his way back to his ship.
"Well, Here we go." Anakin mused, as he sat down in the pilot seat and started up his ship and took off. As he was making his way into hyperspace he got a call from Obi-wan.
"Anakin, I just got word from Bail Organa that you've made a detour to Alderaan" Obi-wan called out. From what Anakin could see he appeared to be on a public transport dressed as inconspicuously as possible.
"I have, I thought it would be a good idea to stop there, Because I had discovered my daughter snuck onto my ship, I figured it would be a good idea to drop her off on Alderaan, where she would be safe while we deal with the crisis at hand, Bail and Breha are perfectly fine with me dropping her off there" Anakin explained.
"I see, I've been in contact with Quinlan Voss and Asajj Ventress." Obi-wan Informed.
"What did they say" Anakin asked.
"They're going to join us on Daiyu, I'll be arriving a couple of Hours after you do, Since I'm having to travel all the way from Mandalorian sector, on a civilian vessel." Obi-wan replied.
"That makes sense, I'll see you soon, Anakin replied, as he hung up the holo call and jumped into hyperspace.
"Alright, I think it's time we head to Daiyu" Anakin mused, as he punched in the coordinates and waited for the nav computer to calculate the jump to hyperspace.
"Here we go." Anakin grinned, as he pushed the lever in front of him and jumped into hyperspace.
Meanwhile on the planet Daiyu Vect Nokru and his men were meeting With the person that had hired them it would turned out to be an inquisitor for the empire known as the third sister.
"You've done well to bring the girl to me." The third sister declared.
"It's what we do, Now about our payment." Vect replied.
"You'll get it, But first you need to do one more thing for us." The third sister replied.
"Alright, What is it." Vect asked.
"We have another job for you, It's similar to the one we just had you do, we need you to kidnap another child, her name is Mara Jade." The third sister replied.
"Are you out of your mind? a daughter of the senators one thing, but going after the adopted daughter of one of the leaders of the Mandalore who is probably been trained to fight since she was an infant."
"It's a risk we'll have to take, We also have something else that might change your mind." The third sister replied.
"Alright, What is it?" Vect asked.
"Your payment for this mission will be 60,000 credits, 30,000 now, and 30,000 upon completion of the task." The third sister replied.
"I see, Alright, We'll do it, But you better not back out on the deal." Vect agreed. As he and his men made their way out of the office.
"So, where are we gonna head to next" One of his men asked.
"Well, The first thing we need to do is acquire some information on our target." Vect replied. As he pulled up an image of the nine year old mara jade.
"The adoptive daughter of the leader of the house Vizla, And Duchess Satine Kryze, and I assume has been trained by the mandalorians on how to defend herself, this won't be easy." Vect mused. As he looked around the spice lab that was the front for there other operations
"Well, It does seem strange that an inquisitor would hire us aren't they the ones known for hunting the Jedi remnants." One of Vect's men replied.
"Yeah, Perhaps she's trying to lure out some Jedi and using us as the middle men." Another of Vect's men replied.
"It's possible, But if she is the last thing she'll want is us to mess up the plan." Vect decided.
"So, What should we do, Should we see if the Bounty hunters guild has anyone who can back us up?" one of his men asked.
"Yes, Put the word out that we've got a contract and we're looking for some extra hands for the job." Vect decided. As As one of his men laughed to go place the request for aid from the guild at one of the local cantinas.
"Now all we can do is wait." Vect declared. As they waited for the bounty hunters guild to reply. Anakin Ship drops out of hyperspace over Daiyu and began flying down towards the surface of the planet.
"Alright, Let's do this." Anakin grinned. As he flew his ship towards the surface of the planet. As he was landing his ship at one of the hangars in the city. He was thinking about how he would go about finding the young princess.
"Alright, Let's see what we can find." Anakin decided, as he exited his ship and began walking through the streets He knew using a tracker wouldn't work because all signals in and out were jammed on Daiyu Since the planet was a den for all sorts of illegal practices from spice spicelabs, to the slave trade.
"This isn't going to be easy, But I'm sure I'll be able to find her." Anakin decided. As he made his way through the city he was approached by a Individual wearing a custom Mandalorian helmet.
"Skywalker." The figure asked.
"Voss. how long has it been since we last spoke" Anakin replied. as Quinlan began guiding him too One of the local cantinas
" I'd say it's been about a year, have you been in contact with Kit Fisto recently" Quinlan replied.
"I have, He and Aayla we're on Jedha when I last checked in with them, They're currently trying to convince Cere Junda and Eno Cordova to bring the rebuilt jedi archives to Tanalorr" Anakin replied.
"That's good to here, I've been hearing through the criminal underworld there's a young Jedi knight who's been aiding our old friend Saw Guerrera that the Haxion Brood put a pretty sizable bounty on his head." Quinlan asked.
"Who, this Jedi." Anakin asked.
"The bounty says his name is Cal Kestis pretty sure he was the Padawan to Jaro Tapal, Prior to the fall of the order." Quinlan explained.
"I see, so are You and Ventriss Plan to look in on that bounty?" Anakin asked. As they entered the cantina.
"Yes, But first we need to find Bail's missing daughter." Quinlan replied. As they sat down at one of the tables in the cantina.
"I see, Do you know where to start looking?" Anakin asked.
"Yeah, some of Vect men came by earlier saying they've been hired for a particular job that's going to have a big payout Asajj is currently Meeting with them to find out what the job is so that we can stop it before it happens." Quinlan replied.
"That sounds like a good idea." Anakin replied. As a waiter brought them drinks.
"I know, But this isn't the first time we've had to deal with bounty hunters getting hired by the empire, To kidnap children but most of the time it's usually been force sensitive, We've had to intercept Cad Bane on a number of occasions." Quinlan mused.
"I see." Anakin muttered as he started reaching out through the force that's when he sensed a presence on the planet something dark.
"What is it Anakin?" Quinlan asked.
"I sensed something through the force, I think there's an inquisitor on the planet." Anakin replied. thinking back to 9 years ago how the order had been betrayed by eleven of their own.
"I see, Well that makes it even more important we find Winter as soon as possible" Quinlan replied. As the waiter returned with their food. that is when Obi Wan arrived along with Ventriss.
"Anakin, It's good to see you again" Obi wan greeted.
"You as well, Master." Anakin replied.
"So, Asajj, Did you find out what Vect's latest job is?" Quinlan asked his bounty hunting partner/wife.
"I did, Apparently he's getting paid to kidnap a second child." Ventress replied.
"I see, What do we know about the target?" Quinlan asked.
"Mara Jade." She replied flatly causing Obi Wan to grimace, upon hearing the name of his adopted daughter.
"You've got to be kidding me." Obi wan growled.
"I wish I was, but I overheard some of Vect's men talking about it." Ventress replied.
"I see, I should inform Satine at the very least." Obi Wan decided.
"We will, But first we need to find Winter, and prevent the kidnapping from happening." Quinlan agreed.
"Right, Well let's get to it then." Obi Wan replied. As they finished their food and made their way out of the cantina.
"Where should we start looking." Quinlan asked.
"Well, Vect's men Mentioned that if anyone wants to join in on the job they were to meet at the spice lab that's operated by Vect." Ventress replied.
"That makes sense, Let's go then." Anakin replied. As they walked down the street towards the spice lab. As they entered the spice lab Disguising themselves as workers as they slipped through to the back of the building that's when they ran into some of Vect's men and a fight ensued.
"Well this isn't going to be easy, But I guess we'll have to do this the hard way." Anakin decided. As he reached for his lightsaber.
"Agreed." Quinlan nodded. As he pulled out a pair of vibro-knives.
"Let's do this." Ventress agreed. As she pulled out her lightsaber and activated it a yellow blade igniting from the curved hilt. As Anakin and Ventress dueled with Vect's men while Quinlan and obi-wan sneak around the room trying to find Winter. That's when Vect entered the room with Winter in tow.
"Enough, you're not getting to her." Vect growled. As he pointed a blaster at Winter.
"Please don't hurt me." Winter pleaded. It almost seemed like it happened in slow motion Anakin without hesitation use the force to pull the blaster from Vect's hand sending it hurling to ventress who sliced the blaster in half At the same time quinlan surge forward throwing a punch into Vect's face knocking him flat on his back.
"Are you okay." Anakin asked. Winter.
"Yes, I am" Winter replied.
"That's good, Come with us." Anakin suggested. As he began leading her out of the spice lab.
"What are your names" Winter asked.
"For now all you need to know is for a friend of your fathers" Obi-wan supplied.
"Alright, What about the person who hired the man who kidnapped me?" Winter asked.
"We'll take care of them, I promise." Quinlan replied. As As they were making their way from the scene the bounty chips that Ventress and Quinlan carried started buzzing.
"Looks like we got another job." Quinlan replied.
"What is it." Anakin asked.
"Ohh, this not good." Ventress muttered.
"What's going on?" Obi-wan asked.
"I guess we now know why Winter was kidnapped" Quinlan replied. As he looked at the hologram which displayed the faces Obi Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, From when the Empire was initially searching for them right after the clone wars had ended.
" It seems this inquisitor hasn't given up on there hunt." Anakin mused. As they walked down the street. That's when he noticed down in the market Square the inquisitors referred to as 5th brother and 4th sister were flanking the grand inquisitor.
"He does not look amused how much are willing to bet the inquisitor I sensed earlier was the one responsible for putting the bounty on Obi Wan and I" Anakin noted. As he sensed a hint of anger through the force.
"I have an idea, That could help us in getting Winter to safety." Obi wan decided.
"What's your idea?" Anakin asked.
"I encountered a man who's a part of the hidden path, before running into Ventriss." Obi wan replied.
"I see, Is this person trustworthy?" Quinlan asked.
"Yes, He's been helping to get Jedi and force sensitives and their families to safety, if one of us can reach the ship with winter we'll be able to get her to safety." Obi Wan replied.
"Alright let's split up, Obi-Wan get Winter to the ship contact via holo when get to the destination" Anakin agreed.
"Sounds good" Obi wan replied. As they split up. Anakin, Ventriss, and Quinlan headed towards the market square to create a diversion that would keep the inquisitors occupied which would hopefully give Obi-Wan enough time to lead Winter to the docking Bay Tower where the hidden path vessel was.
"Let's do this." Anakin agreed. As he pulled out his lightsaber.
"Wait, your just gonna attack the inquisitors." Ventress asked.
"Not exactly it's more like I'm going to create an elaborate diversion that should keep the inquisitors occupied for the time being since every bounty Hunter on the street is probably looking for me, I'll just have to make sure to keep my hood up the entire time" Anakin explained. As he activated his lightsaber, and charged into the crowd drawing the attention of every bounty Hunter around him as well as the inquisitors.
"Alright, let us join the hunt my dear." Quinlan agreed. As they made their way down the street joining up with the other bounty hunters that were chasing Anakin. As they made their way through the city streets Ventress and Quinlan would occasionally glance at Anakin to make sure he was okay.
"It's strange why would one the inquisitor go through all this trouble to hire a criminal gang to kidnap children." Ventress wondered. As she thought back to the past couple of years since the empire had risen to power.
"It is, after all empire has been hunting after force sensitive children considering the ones that were rescued by bad batch, six years ago." Quinlan replied. As they continued making their way down the street.
"Yeah, That's what I don't understand." Ventress replied. As she began to wonder why one of the inquisitor's was trying to use kidnapping to lure out the Jedi, from hiding.
"Yeah, It doesn't make any sense." Quinlan replied. As they made their way there the market square.
"So, What's the plan?" Ventress asked. As they stopped in any alleyway.
"Well, we'll join in on the chase, but we need to make sure we don't do anything that would cause any of the inquisitors to realize there is another jedi and a nightsister." Quinlan replied.
"Alright, let's get to it then." Ventress replied. As they made their way out of the alley and joined in the chase. Meanwhile as Obi-Wan was making his way to the docking Bay Tower where the hidden path vessel was, He was leading Winter towards the hidden path vessel, but as they were making their way through the loading bay towards the dock where the vessel was, they ran into one of the inquisitor's known as the 3rd sister.
"Well, well, well it seems I've caught myself a prize." The third sister grinned.
"Stay back." Obi wan ordered. As he activated his lightsaber, while at the same time pushing Winter behind him.
"Well I can't do that, I've been trying to capture you for a long time." The third sister replied. As she activated her lightsaber and lunged at him. As they began to duel, Obi-Wan made a quick gesture signaling Winter to starting make her way towards the hidden path vessel. As she began to make her way towards the ship, she noticed that there was a ramp lowered allowing her to enter the ship, as she was about to make her way up the ramp, she heard the sound of a lightsaber colliding with another, and she saw Obi wan blocking a slash from the inquisitor.
"Keep running." Obi wan ordered.
"Okay" Winter nodded. As she made her way up the ramp, and into the ship, as she entered the vessel She saw no one was aboard.
"Hello is anyone here" Winter called out. As she walked through the ship, That's when she saw a timer displayed on the console to realize the ship was completely automated and was going to take off in a few minutes.
"Hello, Anyone." Winter called out, as she continued walking through the vessel, she was making her way towards the cockpit to see if she could figure out where the ship was headed. Meanwhile Obi Wan was using whatever tactics possible to keep 3rd sister at bay while simultaneously Trying to judge when it would be the best moment to use force speed To get to the vessel as well.
"Give up, old man." The third sister declared.
"I think not." Obi Wan replied. As he kicked her in the chest sending her stumbling back. At the same time he used the force to pull himself onto the ship's ramp just as it lifted off.
"Come back here." The third sister shouted. As she charged towards the ship, but it was too late as it was taking off. She then shouted a name that shook Obi Wan to his core "A'sharad Hett is alive, he's alive!" The third sister shouted, As Obi-wan turned around and looked down at her from the top of the ramp as it closed.
"No." Obi-wan Whispered as he collapsed the floor of the vessel in shock,
"How is that possible" Obi wan wondered. As he stood back up and made his way towards the cockpit.
"Is everything alright?" Winter asked.
"Yeah, everything is fine" Obi-Wan lied. But he knew deep down he would have to contact The entirety of the order because of what the third sister said was true then Darth Krayt had Survived the duel of Mustafar.
"Where are we headed to?" Winter asked.
"Well, It looks like the ship is headed to Mapuzo, I'll contact Anakin to let him know where to pick us up" Obi-Wan replied.
"Alright, but who is A'sharad Hett" Winter asked.
"He's was a Jedi Knight, who fought in the clone wars He fell to Darth Krayt when the emperor initiated his jedi purge nine years ago." Obi Wan answered the question but also with a bit of a white lie since A'sharad Hett and Darth Krayt we're at the same person.
"Ohh." Winter nodded. As she sat down in the seat next to him.
"It's okay, You're safe now." Obi wan replied. As he sent a call to Anakin's holocom.
"Anakin here, what's your status Obi wan?" Anakin asked.
"I've got Winter with me, We're currently on the hidden path vessel headed for Mapuzo" Obi-wan replied.
"That's good, I'm with Quinlan and Asajj We've managed to give the inquisitors the slip for the time being, I'll meet you on Mapuzo." Anakin replied as it started prepping his ship for takeoff.
"I understand, but be careful" Obi-Wan warned.
"I will." Anakin replied. As he hung up the Holo-call.
"We're going to rendezvous Anakin on Mapuzo." Obi-Wan informed winter.
"I see." Winter nodded. As she sat down in the chair next to him.
"Are you okay?" Obi-Wan asked.
"Yes, I am, but why were those people trying to kidnap me." Winter asked.
"The people who abducted you were hired by an inquisitor, It seemed she was trying to lure specific Jedi out of hiding most likely Anakin and I." Obi-Wan explained.
"Ohh, So what's gonna happen now?" Winter asked.
"Well, Anakin is going to meet us on Mapuzo, We'll be able to take his ship and get you home to Alderaan." Obi-Wan replied. As vessel Automatically jumped into hyperspace it wasn't long before the vessel arrived Dropping out of hyperspace over Mapuzo. As the vessel was landing it was at that moment Obi-Wan decided to inform Satine about what happened.
"Satine, Are you there" Obi-Wan asked. As the Holo-call connected to her location on Kalevala.
"What's wrong?" Satine asked.
"Well, You might want to sit down, Because I have some news that you might find hard to believe." Obi-Wan replied.
"Okay, What's going on?" Satine asked.
"I've found out why Winter was kidnapped, It would appear the A member of the inquisitors has decided to start utilizing a criminal underworlds gangs to try and kidnap children from influential families to lure out Jedi." Obi-Wan replied.
"That's not good, What happened?" Satine asked.
"Well, I'll explain everything when we get back, but I'll just say that Anakin, Asajj, Quinlan and I were able to rescue Winter before she was taken off planet, but while I was getting her to safety I encountered one of the inquisitors who were using the bounty hunters to try and find me and Anakin." Obi-Wan explained.
"I see, Well I'm glad that you and Anakin were able to rescue Winter, but what about this inquisitor." Satine asked.
"Well, We managed to give her the slip for the time being, but I'm going to need you to be careful because she rehired the same gang who abducted winter tasking them to try and kidnap our adoptive daughter Mara Jade." Obi-Wan explained.
"Well I'll inform her to be careful" Satine replied. As they continued talking to each other for a few more minutes, as the Transport land in the middle of the Rolling hills.
"That's good, Well we just landed on Mapuzo, Anakin should be arriving shortly" Obi-Wan replied.
"I understand, But be careful" Satine replied. As they hung up the holo call.
"Let's go" Obi-Wan suggested. As he and Winter made their way out of the Transport and walked through the rolling hills, out the corner of Obi-Wan's eye a homing beacon had been tossed onto the ship.
"Where are we?" Winter asked.
"We're on Mapuzo, it will probably be a few hours before Anakin arrives, We will need to put some distance between us and the Transport it looks like the third sister managed to throw away homing beacon onto the ship." Obi-Wan replied. As they continued walking through the hills.
"Okay, Let's hope that she won't follow us." Winter replied. As they continued walking through the hills. Meanwhile Anakin had just exited hyperspace over Mapuzo.
"Alright, let's do this." Anakin mused. As he flew his ship down towards the surface of the planet, Landing at the spaceport near mining village, During his flights for hyperspace he got changed into the clothing befitting a freighter pilot, the last thing he needed was to be discovered
"Alright, let's go." Anakin decided. As he exited his ship and made his way through the spaceport looking for any sign of Obi-wan or Winter. As he was making his way through the spaceport that's when he sensed through the force a familiar presence of Kenobi.
"Let's go" Anakin muttered. As he made his way through the spaceport, into the mining town following obi-wan's Force signature it led him to a building where a Ned-B loader droid was standing.
The droid asked Him a question in a series of beeps.
"Yes, I've helped out the hidden path network in the past." Anakin replied. The droid opened the door and led him to the secret room Obi-Wan and Winter who conversing with a woman in Imperial officers uniform.
"Anakin, it's good to see you again." Obi-wan greeted.
"You as well." Anakin replied. He then directed a question at the woman in Imperial uniform. "Who are you?"
"I'm captain Tala Durith." Tala replied.
"I see, I assume you're the one in charge of this Hidden path?" Anakin asked.
"That is correct, We've been able to get a few Jedi and their families to safety, But it's gotten more difficult as of late the empire is aware of the hidden paths existence having discovered two of our safe houses last year." Tala replied.
"I see, I would hate to leave you in the lurch but Obi-Wan and I have a pressing matter that we must attend to." Anakin replied.
"I understand, I'll arrange transport for you three to get off Mapuzo." Tala replied.
"That will not be necessary I have my own Freighter." Anakin replied.
"I see, well the coordinates to the hidden path safe house on Jabiim are here, If you could drop them off there would be greatly appreciated." Tala replied. As she handed him the coordinates.
"We'll do that." Obi-Wan agreed. As they made their way out of the hidden path safe house.
"Alright, let's get going." Anakin suggested. As they made their way back to the spaceport and boarded his freighter, As they were taking off Anakin got in contact with Bail Organa, to inform her that Winter was safe and they would be home shortly.
"So, where are we headed to next?" Winter asked.
"Alderaan, So that we can get you home." Anakin replied. As he punched the coordinates into the nav computer and jumped into hyperspace.
"I see, So who are you two" Winter asked.
"I am Jedi knight Anakin Skywalker back during the Clone Wars I was known as the hero with no fear" Anakin replied.
"I'm Jedi master Obi-wan kenobi, During the clone wars I was known as the negotiator, Anakin and I fought together in the clone wars during the first part of the war." Obi-Wan added. As Winter nodded. As the ship dropped out of hyperspace over Alderaan, as they were descending into the atmosphere.
"Alright, I'll let Bail and Breha know you're on your way." Obi-Wan decided. As he sent a message to Bail and Breha telling them that Winter was safe and would be arriving shortly.
"I understand." Winter nodded. As Anakin flew his ship down towards the planet's surface landing at the royal palace in Alderaan, as the ship landed it was at that moment that Anakin spotted Bail Organa Approaching the ship with The Alderanian Royal Guard.
"Well, it seems we have company." Anakin declared. As he turned the ship around to allow for the back so that the boarding ramp would be facing towards the palace
"Indeed, Let's get going." Obi-Wan agreed. As he made his way down the ramp with Winter following behind him.
"Winter!" Bail exclaimed. As he hugged his daughter tightly.
"Daddy." Winter cried. As she began to cry tears of joy.
"Are you okay?" Breha asked.
"Yes, I am." Winter nodded. As she stepped back from her parents.
"Thank you, both of you." Bail replied.
"It's what we do, We should probably finish this discussion inside." Obi-wan replied. As the group makes their way inside the palace.
"I understand, We should probably go retrieve your daughter." Bail noted
" Speaking of which where is Leia anyway." Anakin asked wondering where in the palace his daughter was currently at
"She's currently with Winters tutor at the moment, she did an adequate job pretending to be winter" Breha Praised.
"That's good." Obi-Wan smiled. As they made their way into the palace.
"Do you know why the inquisitor wanted to kidnap Winter?" Bail asked.
" It was one of the inquisitors the one known as the 3rd sister she was trying to lure Anakin and I out specifically we don't know why." Obi-Wan explained.
"I see, Anakin there was something Bail and I would like to discuss with you and Padme, I'll have One of the servants set up the sitting rooms holo-compjector." Breha replied. As they made their way to bail and Bertha's private sitting room.
"Okay." Anakin replied. As they made their way into the sitting room, as Anakin activated the holo-projector, after a few moments Padme's hologram appeared on the projector.
"What's going on?" Padme asked. As she looked at Bail and Breha.
"There's something that Bail and I have been discussing Your daughter was a great help in throwing off any suspicion that winter had been kidnapped so much so that we'd like her to stay as winter's handmaiden and double." Bail replied.
" And if I might ask what brought this idea on" Anakin asked. As he looked over at Bail.
"Well, Winter desires to follow in my footsteps to become a senator in the Imperial Senate." Bail replied.
"I see, and you believe that Leia will be able to aid winter in the senate." Obi-Wan mused.
"That is correct." Breha replied. As the group continued talking to each other for the next hour or so.
"Ani, I think this is a good idea it would allow this was Leia to get the formal education that I had on Naboo." Padme decided. As she looked over at Anakin.
"But what about Leia's Jedi training, someone is going to have to be here to train her, so that no one realizes that she's a force sensitive." Anakin replied.
" What about Ahsoka, Aside from managing the fulcrum spy network, she could train Leia In the ways of the Jedi and also how to maximize her rare gift of concealing herself in the force" Obi-Wan replied.
" I do not see why that would be a problem, I'll contact Ahsoka and let her know the situation, I'm sure she wouldn't mind." Bail replied.
"I understand, but We still have to ask Leia what she wants if she'd rather stay here or return home." Anakin replied. As he stood up and walked out of the sitting room.
"I'll go with him." Obi-Wan replied. As he followed after Anakin.
"So, where's Leia right now." Anakin asked.
"She's currently in Winter's room" Obi-Wan replied. As they made their way towards Winter's room.
"Understand, Let's go find Leia." Anakin agreed. As they made their way through the palace.
"Let's do this." Obi-Wan replied. As they walked down the hallway. As they were making their way to Winter's room.
"Hello Winter." Leia greeted. As she saw Winter approaching.
"Hello Leia" Winter greeted. As she noticed Obi-Wan and Anakin walking behind her.
"What's going on?" Leia asked.
"Your parents have something to discuss with you Leia." Obi-Wan explained. As he and Anakin Let her to the sitting room.
"Okay, what's going on" Leia asked. As she sat down in front of her father.
"Well, Leia, your Parents and I are wondering if you would like to stay on Alderaan as Winter's handmaiden." Bail explained.
"Really." Leia asked.
"Yes, you would get a formal education like your mother did on Naboo." Breha added.
"Well, I would like to stay here, As long as mom and dad are OK with it" Leia replied.
"It's fine with us Leia, You should stay here." Anakin replied. As he looked over at Padme.
"I think we can arrange something." Padme nodded. As she looked over at Bail.
"Thank you." Bail replied. As he stood up and walked out of the sitting room.
"I should probably contact Ahsoka." Anakin decided. As he stood up and walked out of the sitting room.
"I'll come with you." Obi-Wan suggested. As he followed Anakin.
"Alright" Anakin replied. As they left the room.
"Well, I'm sure you're proud that Leia is showing maturity for her age." Obi-wan smiled. As they walked down the hallway.
"I am, I just wish it didn't take our friends daughter being kidnapped for her to show such maturity." Anakin replied.
"I understand." Obi-Wan replied. As they continued walking down the hallway.
"Well, let's get to it then." Anakin replied. As they made their way to the Holo-room. As he sat down in front of the holo-projector, after a few moments the hologram of Ahsoka appeared on the projector.
"Master, What's going on?" Ahsoka asked. As she looked at her former master.
"Ahsoka, there's been a change of plans regarding Leia's Jedi training, I was wondering if you would be willing to be the one to train her?" Anakin asked.
"Of course, I'm more than happy to help, I'll bring Professor Huyang With me so that Leia will have the opportunity to construct a lightsaber." Ahsoka agreed.
"I see, Well thank you." Anakin smiled.
"It's what I do." Ahsoka replied. As they continued talking to each other for a few more minutes.
"Alright, I'll be there in a couple of days I assume you'll be returning to Tatooine." Ahsoka decided.
"Yeah, I'm gonna be leaving in about an hour." Anakin replied. It was just then that Anakin can remember that Obi Wan needed to get back to Mandalorian space to check on his adopted daughter.
"Alright, I'll be there soon." Ahsoka replied. As she hung up the holo-call. Anakin then turned his attention to Obi-wan asking " So how are you going to get back to your duchess?"
"Well, I'm probably gonna catch a ride on the tantive iv." Obi-Wan replied. As they made their way out of the holo-room.
"Sounds good, you better get going then" Anakin replied.
"Indeed." Obi-Wan replied. As he made his way through the palace to the docking bay where the Tantive iv was docked.
"Captain Antilles, May I hitch a ride with you." Obi-wan asked.
"Of course, Master Kenobi." Raddus replied.
"Thank you." Obi-Wan replied. As he climbed aboard the ship.
"I understand." Raddus nodded. As he and Obi-Wan made their way into the ship. As the ramp closed and the vessel took off.
"We should be arriving on Kalevala in a couple of hours." Raddus informed. As he walked over to the flight controls.
"I see, I might as well get some sleep then." Obi-Wan decided. As he made his way to the quarters where he would be staying for the next couple of hours.
Meanwhile Anakin returned to his own ship and headed back to Tatooine, Though his stay would be brief because he would receive a call from Saul Guerra requesting his aide on the Wookie homworld of Kashyk, while he was there he would pick up a new padawan of his own named Galen Merrick.
But who knows what'll go down in the next nine years only time will tell.
