Chapter 28: Beatrix Biro AKA Queen Bee
Queen Bee… What can I really say about this character. Arrowverse!Queen Bee doesn't exist. DCU!Queen Bee varies depending on how far back you go. I'm not very fond of the early DCU!Queen Bee. She was an insect-based alien who depended on mind control. In her many manifestations, she epitomized the DC villain mind set. I think this limited her. Don't worry, she remained a villain in my AU. I adopted one of the later DCU!Queen Bee versions. The Black Widow version.

ORIGIN:
Beatrix Bíró was born in the country of Bialya. Because she was born a girl, she was ignored and belittled for her early years, but Beatrix knew how to manipulate people. As she grew, she planned to changed her people. She believed that they could be so much more than they were. She blamed the monarchy for holding the people of Bialya back. She devised a plan that handed control of the country over to her. It started with her gaining the affections of the second son of the king. Gyeücsa 'Géza' Király.
Prince Géza became enamored with Beatrix. She convinced him that he was better than his older brother. She helped him to scheme a path to the throne. She planned and executed operation. She ensured that outsiders were blamed for the death of the king. This elevated her husband to king and her to queen.
Over the next few years, Beatrix ensured that Géza fell further under her spell. She manipulated him into executing his entire family and extended family. By this time, Queen Beatrix 'Bee' Bíró Király had become the only positive aspect the people had for the royal family. They considered her husband to be a tyrant. When her husband was assassinated (again by outsiders), the Bialyan court clamored to make her their permanent Queen.
Queen Bee consolidated her position at court and subtly executed those members who did not agree with her. She promoted military men to support her position while wielding the military to terminate any rumors of insurrection. She then courted the Western media. She advertised Bialya as a new vacation destination for the wealthy of the West. Many of these westerners became victims to her mind games. The western world fell for her false face.
During this time, Queen Bee found and isolated an alien being known as Tyrell. She was intrigued by the advanced mechanics and science that Tyrell's spacecraft contained. She isolated him from the sun (where he gained power) and directed him to develop a way for her to control people directly. She wanted to eliminate the free will of people who surrounded her. She would use Tyrell to do it.
Until Tyrell's mind manipulation project bore fruit, Queen Bee acquired Vitura from the Triad. She would use it to ensure the loyalty of her followers and the empowered people who swore allegiance to her.

MOTIVATION:
Queen Bee was motivated by control, power, and greed. She required instant loyalty and fear. She craved the attention that fear of her displeasure generated. She was willing to use drugs, magic, and technology to ensure loyalty to her.

PERSONALITY:
Queen Bee had a harsh personality. If she was trying to coerce you, she would be sweet and manipulate you into capitulation, but she didn't hesitate to remove those people who displeased her or whom she considered a threat. She didn't want to become attached to people. She saw them as objects for her to use. To advance her agenda.

NOTES:
Arrowverse did not have a variation of Queen Bee. My primary resource was from the DCU, but I didn't like the alien angle. I think that humans can be just as vicious as aliens with superpowers. In some ways, they can be more vicious. At least one variation of Queen Bee proves that right.
