Hello everyone to Fairy Tail: Lucy's New Game Chapter 11. With me is my cowriter and friend, Kaizokuoniiorewanaru.
Kaizoku: What up.
Now is the actual start of the Curse Island arc of the series.
Kaizoku: And remember how tough it was for our protagonists? I've decided to make it a bit tougher.
… Why do I fear what you have in mind for them?
Kaizoku: You should. In this next character's game, its trailer has stated that there's a 99% chance of death in it.
Oh boy… Did you also remember to bring in today's guest?
Kaizoku: Right, right. It's the most recently made Gamer, Levy Mcgarden!
Levy: (Walks out nervously, while waving at the readers) "Hello everyone."
Kaizoku: Hi, Levy.
Thank you for coming. I take it you're liking the new gift.
Levy: (Smiles widely) "It's amazing, I've been having an amazing time with it sense I obtained [The Gamer]~!"
Kaizoku: ... Should we be impressed or a bit fearful that you are?
She's always been a book lover, and with this she can read faster.
Levi: Yes, it can read faster with [The Gamer] and the Reading Glasses.
Kaizoku: So, like four times the reading power.
Levi: "Sounds about right."
Okay then. Levi, will you do the disclaimer?
Levy: "R-Right." (Clears her throat) "These two do not own Fairy Tail, its characters, locations, songs or story nor do they own any already owned characters or songs like Haseo and any songs from Blazblue. They only own the completely original characters."
Thank you, Levi. Now onto the chapter.
Chapter 11: Top Tear Quest! The Cursed Island!
(Fairy Tail Guild Hail)
"Say what…!?" Wakaba asked in shock. "One of the jobs from the second floor is missing…!?"
"But the jobs up there are S-Class Quests," Macao stated. "Anyone know who took off with it?"
"Well," Laki stated, "it's either someone really strong, or really stupid."
"I know," Laxus called from the second floor. "A little blue cat flew up here and ripped it off the board."
Mira was shocked. "It was Happy?"
The guild was in an uproar, muttering to each other.
"He must have stolen it for Natsu and Lucy," Wakaba stated. "… I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing though…"
"That's crazy," Macao stated firmly.
"What are they thinking?" one member asked.
"Well they do have [The Gamer] like Erza, and can keep up with her," another pointed out.
"They've got some nerve taking on an S-Class Quest," Alzack stated, a bit worried for the two.
"I don't know if I'd call it nerve, but it's definitely dumb," Bisca stated. "Even if they have this [Gamer] power."
"If I was my old self," Laxus stated, getting everyone's attention, sounding cocky, but then got serious, "I'd have stated that would have been a breach in the rules… But after seeing what they could do, and what a [Gamer] magician can do…" He then smiled with a battle hungry grin. "I want to see if they have what it takes~ You're with me on this Old Man~? I feel like they'll get through that mission with easy."
"Either way, Laxus, if you knew, why didn't you stop them?" Mirajane asked, scoldingly.
Laxus shrugged. "To be honest, I did consider stopping them, and clobbering the two for being idiots," he answered. He then pointed his thumb to Levi. "But after being beat by Levi there, before she got her new [Gamer] powers, I wanted to see if those three have what it takes." He then looked serious. "And if anything changes to the mission, I'll take full reasonability… I'll take the Quest under my name and let them do it in my name, to see how far they can go… I'll even let them keep the reward money and the key for Lucy."
Everyone in the guild was actually shock. First by Levi having her own version of [The Gamer], the second being Laxus willing to take the blame for someone.
"The heck did you do to make Laxus this way Levi…!?" one member asked in shock.
"Yeah, you beat him and now are a [Gamer]," another stated in shock and awe. "Why didn't you tell us!?"
Levi looked sheepish and answered. "I just got it yesterday, so I wanted to test it out… Plus, I just got lucky, to be honest…" She whispered.
Laxus heard her. "Luck is an attribute for [The Gamer], isn't it?"
Levi was surprised he heard her, but still answered, "Yes, but still I-"
"Haven't you heard the saying, "Fortune favors the bold'?" Laxus asked. "Fortuin is just luck, and you were bold enough to face me to get that luck to win. Luck can be just as important in a fight, as much as skill and power. You won, far and square. End of story."
While everyone was looking at Laxus for his major change in character, Mira was giving him an annoyed angered look on her face.
"Man, it's been a long-time sense you've given me that look, Mirajane," Laxus stated.
"This isn't good... Well, which job was it?" Makarov asked, even though he already knows.
"For lifting the curse on Galuna Island." Mirajane answered, still glaring at Laxus.
"WHAT!?" Makarov shouted in shock.
"GALUNA ISLAND!?" Macao and Wakaba shouted in shock as well.
"ARE THEY INSANE!?" Laki asked in fear for the three.
"THE'RE EVEN DUMBER THAN WE THOUGHT!" Alzack and Bisca shouted in disbelief.
"LAXUS, GO AND FETCH THEM AT ONCE!" Makorov ordered.
"Come on grampas, think about it, if this [Gamer] power is as strong as it is, and treats life as a game, they maybe able to find clues easier then what a normal S-Class could do," Laxus stated. "I know you care about them Old Man, but you've seen what they can do, what they can summon to our reality. Also, call it a gut feeling, but I think there's something there that'll help them."
"Even so, you're the only one who can bring back Natsu by force!" Makarov exclaimed.
"Sorry, Master," Gray apologized, standing up, and getting his attention. "But I'm afraid I got to disagree with you."
(Hargeon)
Natsu, Happy and Lucy had gotten to the port town of Hargeon, the same city the three met.
Lucy took in a big lung-full of the sea air. "I know it's only been a month or so sense I join Fairy Tail, but I'm happy to be back here, where my journey truly stated~" She turn to smile at her two teammates. "I'm glad I was able to run into you two to join Fairy Tail that day~"
"It was practically yesterday, you don't have to get all mushy." Natsu deadpanned.
"Yeah, you sound like an old lady." Happy pointed out, trying not to laugh.
"You wanna TALK ABOUT OLD LADIES, CAT!?" Lucy growled, pulling twin swords out with an intimidating smile.
"Uh... Can we please find a boat...?" Happy changed the subject.
"... Okay, fine. Let's find a boat that will take us to Galuna." Lucy sighed.
"Right." The two nodded since Natsu is in Lucy's party.
The trio find two boatmen and ask for them to take the trio to Galuna Island. "Galuna Island? No way. Not for a million Jewel."
"Around here, it's bad luck to even mention the name..." The boatmen turned down. The trio try another two boatmen.
"Sorry, kids, but I don't think anyone here would be willing to take you."
"That island's cursed, so unless you've got a death wish, I'd stay far away." The two boatmen also turned down. The trio try another boatman.
"Don't know why you'd want to go there, but no sailor worth his salt is gonna take you to Galuna. Not even pirates will go near that place." The boatman told.
"Are you serious!?" Lucy exclaimed.
"Gah, it looks like we're gonna have to swim to Galuna Island." Natsu declared.
"It sure does." Happy nodded.
"WE'RE NOT SWIMMING, NATSU!" Lucy shouted.
"I found you~" The trio heard, making them scream as they heard it from behind themselves.
"What do you three think you're doing?" Nigai asked.
"We heard from Gray that doing this without an S-Class member on your team is practically a death wish." Kaku scolded.
"S-S-So, um, p-p-please return that pamphlet t-t-to the, uh, S-Class board..." Shinkei asked of.
"Unless you want us to beat you down first." Kokoro glared, her glasses pushed up.
"And then chopped up!" Daishi exclaimed before getting smacked upside the head.
"WE ARE NOT DOING THAT!" Gray growled.
"Why!?" Natsu asked them. "We're not in danger yet."
"Besides," Lucy cut in. "Aren't we strong enough to take this on?"
"If you come back now, you might avoid getting kicked out of the guild." Gray warned. "Maybe."
Lucy grabbed Natsu by the shoulder, squeezing hard. "Natsu…~" Lucy stated, having a way to sweet tone of voice, making him sweat in fear, even with [Gamer's Mind]. "What does Gray mean by we'll be kicked out of the Guild…~?"
The others were shivering at Lucy's tone of voice.
"Well, uh..." Natsu let out before shaking his head and glaring at Gray. "I don't care. I'm going on this S-Class Quest."
"Man, you're way out of your league here." Daishi told.
"Just come home." Kokoro demanded.
"When Erza finds out about this, she's gonna be so angry..." Gray warned.
Natsu and Happy were scared, saying "Uh-oh…" Lucy just sighed, knowing this was a bad idea.
Happy tried to fly to Gray, but Lucy stopped him. "Don't even think about it Happy…" Lucy growled at the cat, making him sweat in fear. "You are not playing the innocent victim when you and Natsu where the ones to force me…" Lucy turned to Gray, giving a deadpan look and voice. "I only came with these two morons for three reasons; 1: They left the flier in my room so even if I returned it, I'd still get in trouble. 2: Someone need to watch these idiots so they wouldn't be killed…"
"Hey!" Happy and Natsu shouted at Lucy who ignored them.
"3: I only came to see if I couldn't get the Golden Key…" Lucy finished.
"I've gotta prove my power to Erza... So like it or not, I'm doing this!" Natsu growled at Gray.
"Regardless of your reasons, Lucy, Natsu, Master ordered all of us to bring you home. We'll DRAG you back to Fairy Tail if we have to!" Gray declared as he summons some ice from his hands. "Don't make me hurt you, buddy!"
"I'd like to see you try!" Natsu exclaimed, summoning fire from his hands.
"Hm? Magic? Excuse me, are you two wizards?" The boatman asked, getting everyone's attention. "Have you come to lift the curse on the island?"
"Yeah!"
"Maybe." Natsu and Lucy respectively answered.
"Not gonna happen!" Gray snarled. The boatman looked in awe.
"Get in." The man demanded.
"What?"
"Seriously?" Lucy and Natsu respectively huffed.
"No way!" Gray denied before being knocked out by a sedative dart to the neck by Ichi Patsu.
"There we go. We're ready when you are, sir." Ichi declared, Gray over his shoulder.
Lucy was shocked. "Why are you guys helping us?"
"That's simple. We wanted in in the first place." Kaku declared.
"Yep. Shinkei, didn't, though, but our votes outweighed his." Nigai said.
"The only way to make sure n-n-n-no one could go was to, uh, knock you guys out, but... well... I'm not remotely s-s-s-strong enough to do that..." Shinkei admitted. "S-s-s-so, I had no choice but to come along..."
"Are you sure we should take him with us, though?" Kokoro brought up.
"Well, we can't have him go back and tell the guild. Because the next person they'll send is Erza...!" Natsu dreaded.
"Well duh…" Lucy stated in a deadpan. She then pinched the bridge of her nose. "But we're already this far deep… Might as well go all the way… I just hope we don't get kick out after this…"
(Transition)
Happy is fishing off the side of a cliff a basket of fish next to him, saying, "Later that day…"
(End of Transition)
The group was seen on a boat large enough to fit at least nine people. "Oh man... I suddenly got chills up my spine..." Shinkei let out in fear.
"Hey, look on the bright side. At least YOU'RE not the one tied up! I can't believe you betrayed me!" Gray exclaimed. "This is your fault too, buddy. Why'd you decide to let us on?"
"The name's Bobo. And if you must know, I used to be a citizen of Galuna Island. But I had to flee... I just couldn't take it anymore..." The boatman said. "I should warn you. Tragedy befalls anyone who steps foot on the island. There's no avoiding it, that is, unless you're able to lift the curse." He warned before revealing a demonic left arm, shocking everyone aboard and seeing it. "This vile demon's curse...!"
"W-w-w-w-what happened t-t-t-to your arm...?" Shinkei asked, afraid of the answer.
"Is that... the curse...?" Nigai raised another question.
"...We're almost there." Bobo told. "That's Galuna Island." He pointed to an island with a glowing mountain top.
"Weird... Why is that mountain top glowing like that?" Kaku brought up. As the group was distracted, they suddenly notice that Bobo was gone. "What the!? Where'd he go!?"
"Did he fall out?" Ichi asked.
"It's like he disappeared into thin air!" Daishi exclaimed.
Gray suddenly notices something. "Uh, guys?" He called. The group turn their respective heads and find a tsunami behind them.
"A TSUNAMI!" The group shouted in fear.
"Now don't panic! Just hold on!" Gray ordered.
"Happy! Can't you grab onto the boat and fly!?" Shinkei exclaimed.
"I'm not strong enough!" Happy told.
Lucy pulls out multiple surfboards from her inventory. "Everyone, grab one and ride the wave!" Lucy ordered.
Everyone does so.
"Hey! I'm still tied up!" Gray shouted.
Lucy cut the ropes with her own sword. "There, now hurry!" she ordered.
Gray does so. All of them jump into the water, and on the surfboards. Lucy was leading the pack; sense she's been doing this for a long time. The one that was having the most trouble was Natsu and Happy, who were sharing the same board, both shouting in fear. Natsu had never surf before because of his motion sickness he had before. They were about to make it to the shore, but another tsunami blocked their path.
"What the hell!?" Lucy shouted in shock.
The tsunami washes the group away.
(Galuna Island Beach: Morning)
Lucy woke up to the sound of licking, and, in fact, the feeling of being licked by someone. "Oh! New friend waking up!" A young male anthropomorphic wolf exclaimed, backing away.
Lucy groggily sat up to look at the wolf man. "W-Who are you? W-Where am I?"
"I'm Bakei Mono, new friend! You're on Galuna Island!" The wolf man declared.
"Where are my friends?" Lucy asked, worried, looking around for the others.
She sees that Natsu, Kokoro, Shinkei, Kaku, Daishi, Nigai, Ichi, Gray, and Happy were unconscious around her. "I haven't licked them awake yet. Do you want me to?" Bakei asked back.
Lucy let out a sigh of relief to know that her friends were safe. She did wince at the wrecked boat and surfboards. "What a mess… Sure go ahead."
Bakei licks the group awake. After that, Bakei tells them that they are in Galuna Island. "Looks like we made it, you guys!" Natsu declared.
"We're lucky that wave washed us ashore..." Nigai pointed out.
"Well, I don't know if I'd count it lucky." Gray counter-pointed.
"I can't help but wonder what happened to the guy who brought us here..." Shinkei said, his eyes being green. "Right after he told us about the curse, he vanished."
"Forget about that stuff for now and let's go exploring!" Natsu urged everyone.
"Aye!" Happy hollered.
"We've been here for thirty seconds and you have already forgotten about our mission?" Kokoro grumbled.
" By the way, who's the wolf man?" Gray asked, pointing to Bakei.
"I'm Bakei Mono~!" Bakei wagged his tail. "Pleased to meet you, new friends... Lucy... Natsu... Happy... Gray... Kokoro... Shinkei... Daishi... Nigai... Ichi... and Kaku!"
"He must've used [Observe]... He's a [Gamer] too..." Kokoro pointed out. Lucy uses [Observe] on Bakei herself.

"Wow, you know how I'm able to know your names before you introduced yourselves? That's amazing! You have the same power as me!" Bakei wagged his tail more intensely, excited.
Gray pinched the bridge of his nose. "Just great… More of this [Gamer] magic…"
Lucy shrugged and pulled out the S-Class flier. She read over it. "Apparently, there's only one village on the entire island," Lucy stated. "The village chief is the one who originally put in the request. So I guess we need to try and find him."
"I know where he is. I'll guide you, new friends!" Bakei declared.
"Not so fast." Gray growled.
"Give it up, Gray. You can't take us back to the guild now that our boat and surfboards are destroyed." Natsu told.
"You're right... I'm coming with you." Gray said. "There's no way I'm gonna let you two clowns with a bunch of people who betrayed me make S-Class before I do. And if you were kicked out, the guild would be pretty boring. Gramps will be upset, but if we pull this off, he won't stay mad at us for long." He continued speaking, making everyone smile. "Let's go."
"Aye!/Yeah!" Happy and Natsu exclaimed.
(Galuna Island Beach: Village)
The group made it to the village gates. It was nighttime when the group finally made it.
They see that the village has a dreaded "KEEP OUT" sign. "...Well, we found the village. Now what?" Gray asked.
"Check out that gate. When they say "keep out", they mean it." Natsu said.
"Anyone home? It's me, Bakei!" Bakei called.
"We came here to help you!" Lucy declared. No response.
"Let's bust in!" Natsu grinned.
"No way!" Lucy growled.
"Who goes there!?" a man shouted at them from over the giant gate.
"We're Wizards from Fairy Tail responding to your request!" Lucy answered.
"Oh, you're the group Laxus sent out!?" the man asked, surprising everyone. "We got notified that your being tested by one of your S-Class members of your guild!"
"What!?" Everyone except Bakei gasped.
"Laxus? Who that?" Bakei asked.
"H-He's one of our members of Fairy Tail," Gray stated. "An S-Class wizard."
"Oh, so he's a strong friend of yours?" Bakei raised another question, wagging his wolf tail.
"Strong is a definite, but friend is a bit of a stretch," Natsu stated. "I'm surprise he'd do something like this though."
"Oh! You have Bakei with you! Can you show us your emblems?" A gatekeeper asked. The group does so. Kokoro's emblem is gold and on her midriff, Shinkei's is scarlet and on the back of his right hand, Nigai's is light blue and on her right shoulder, Kaku's is black and on his back, Daishi's is white and on his right wrist, and Ichi's is gold and on his chest. Natsu, Lucy, Gray and Happy's marks were in the same spots as in cannon.
The two guards gasp. "They're here! They're really here!" the guards shouted in shock. The gate was then lifted to allow them entry.
"It's like we're walking into a giant monster's mouth..." Happy brought up.
"Don't even TRY to freak us out." Lucy scolded.
"I'm Moka, the village chief," an elderly man in robs coving his whole body introduced. "On behalf of everyone here, I welcome you. Pleasantries aside, there's something you need to see." He turned to his villagers and ordered, "Now, my people."
The villagers, the chief included, show their bodies to the group, some parts of said bodies being monstrous or some of their foreheads having horns.
"It's just like what happened to the boat guy..." Gray pointed out.
"Yeah..." Lucy hummed.
"Oh, wow, your sideburns!" Natsu exclaimed.
"Not that. I was trying to show you what happened to my arm." The chief told. "Everyone on the island has suffered horrible disfigurement because of this curse. Not even the animals have been spared!"
"Please excuse me for asking, but what makes you think it's a curse, sir?" Nigai asked.
"Yeah. It could be some kind of infectious disease." Kaku agreed.
"We've consulted with dozens of doctors, younglings. But they all agree that no such disease exists. You see, our symptoms began around the same time the moon fell under an evil spell as well as a woman full of malice appearing in our island." The village chief said.
"What kind of spell? And what kind of woman full of malice?" Lucy brought up.
"For the former, since ancient times, this island has absorbed the light of the moon causing it to glow almost as beautifully as the moon itself. However, several years ago, the moon's color began to change. And an eerie purple glow was cast upon the island. As for the latter, the woman full of malice was one clad in red as blood, hair pink as her eyes, skin gray as mist... She carries a large red serrated sword on her back and lives for one thing: To kill anyone she sees." The chief explained.
"So the moon turned purple?" Natsu asked.
Happy gasped when he looked into the sky. "It's coming out from behind the clouds," he stated, making the group look up to the sky.
As soon as the clouds part, they see the moon turning purple. "Oh wow... It really IS purple..." Shinkei marveled.
"Man, that's creepy looking..." Gray huffed.
"It's the curse... Stand back... The change is about to begin..." Moka grunted before he and the villagers groan in pain and anguish.
"Whoa! What the!" Lucy gasped as the villagers started changing into monsters.
"They're changing!" Gray exclaimed.
"Yeah, we can see that!" Ichi pointed out.
"Why is this happening to them?" Natsu asked before the villagers complete their transformation, albeit forced in the first place.
"I'm sorry if our appearance frightens you." Moka apologized.
"It's okay. I'm just completely confused." Gray replied.
"You poor people..." Lucy let out.
"Oh man... You guys look so cool!" Natsu exclaimed in excitement.
"... Huuuh?" Everyone huffed in confusion.
"It's awesome! You got horns and stuff. I'm so jealous!" Natsu told.
"He thinks we look cool...?" One of the villagers asked.
"No one's ever said that to us before..." Another villager pointed out.
"Natsu, you're being insensitive. None of the villagers wanted to look like this." Kokoro scolded.
"Seriously? Huh. My bad..." Natsu apologized. "Then I guess we should help them out."
"That IS why we're here." Happy told.
"Get a grip, man." Gray grumbled before he feels an intense amount of bloodlust that his Skill is warning him about. He turns towards the source of bloodlust and finds this woman behind him. (A/N 1) "WHAT THE!?" Gray shouted in surprise before the woman swung her large sword which was blocked by Lucy's own large sword. However, the woman was so strong, it ended up pushing Lucy back and into a tree, damaging her spine.
-300 HP
"Gah!" Lucy shouted in pain. Her [Physical Endurance] leveling up 3 times for the first-time sense she hasn't taken a lot of damage so far on her, even in the guild brawls.
"Lucy!" everyone shouted to their friend in worry.
The villagers were paralyzed in fear. "I-It's her...!" One of them gasped. Natsu uses [Observe]

Natsu looked pissed. "You hurt my friend… you better tell me why… or else" he ordered, his voice low, and fire in his hands.
"Why...? Are you asking me why? ... Hm. I don't know~ I'm sure it's because..." Ripuka paused before giggling. "Because... it's MY kind of fun~!"
"What...!?"
"She's nuts...!" Natsu and Gray respectively gasped.
"Why are you here…?" Happy asked her in fear, hiding behind Natsu.
"... I don't know. All that I know is that I AM here. To wreak havoc in this world again. Just like I did in [World's Odyssey]. Sad thing is, I can't summon an [Entoma Queen] like I did in that game... So I can't exactly leave a present out of boredom before I leave. ...Not that it matters." Ripuka answered before attacking again. However, instead of hitting flesh or steel, Bakei caught her attack with his hands.
"You're right. It doesn't matter because this time... this time...! We WILL defeat you!" Bakei declared.
""We"? Oh. Right. How could I forget~?" Ripuka mused before a girl appeared behind Ripuka and kicked her away and into a different tree.
-6 HP
Ripuka giggles. "That tickled~"
"Ice Make Cannon!" Gray shouted, and fired at her, hitting and freezing her in ice.
-10 HP
"... You think this will keep me in one place for very long?" Ripuka asked inside the ice before breaking it with relative ease. She then dusts herself off any ice that was stuck on her.
Gray had a smug smile on his face. "Not really, just long enough for Lucy to summon her Dragon to pin you down~"
"Who's what now?" Ripuka asked in confusion, until an earth dragon's foot landed on her back, pinning her, Lucy now in her Excella Hero outfit, riding on top of Reedox.
"She has a dragon!" all the villagers asked/shouted in shock.
-100 HP
"Hmm...?" Ripuka hummed, more curious than hurt.
"Okay then, now that you're 'calm', let's talk," Lucy stated, jumping off Reedox and walk to Ripuka. "We have a few questions to ask you."
"Calm?" Ripuka let out before giggling and then laughing. "Being calm is for the strong. THIS is me being 'calm'." She growled as she started to lift Reedox by just going to stand up.
Cue: Death End Syndrome (Death End Re:Quest)
What Ripuka was doing shocked everyone. "You see? This is what I'm capable of at my weakest." Ripuka declared in a bored tone, Reedox lifted by one of Ripuka's hands.
Reedox was using its earth powers to try and pin her down harder, growling at the woman.
Natsu walked up to her, awe in his face. "That's so cool~!" This actually surprised Ripuka, as well as the others. "How are you able to do that~! I could never do that with Igneel~!" His words were genuine to her.
"Natsu! She's the enemy!" Gray shouted at him.
Natsu waved him off. "Nah, I can tell by her sent, she's just lonely."
End Song
Ripuka gave a surprised look towards Natsu. He gave her a giant smile.
"You're lonely, aren't you?" he asked her, his heart filled smile still on his face. "You lash out, because you feel lonely and hurt, and you think the only thing that will make it feel better is if others feel it as well. I was alone for a long time as well when Igneel left. But Fairy Tail helped me find a new family~" He hold his hand out to her, his smile never waning. "So why don't you join our family, and finally have happiness, and know what family feels like~? Let's be friends~!?"
"... Why are you like this...? So nice to me... So willing to talk..." Ripuka let out in confusion. "... Perhaps... Perhaps we can..."
Ripuka has become docile.
With that said, Ripuka changes into a black coin.

Natsu smiled, grabbing Ripuka's coin, and was pleased at the new skill. "Nice~! New Skill~! And welcome to Fairy Tail Ripuka~!" He turned to see all the shock looks at Natsu, making him look confused. "What?"
"How were you able to tame that wild DEMON of a woman!?" Moka asked, completely shocked.
"Guess it's my new Skill." Natsu shrugged. "And she did smell lonely as well, wanting friends and family. So, I was willing to offer her that~"
"Increasable," Moka said in awe. "He actually tamed that woman and gained her loyalty. They truly might be able to cure us of our curse."
"That IS why we're here..." Happy hummed.
"Get a clue, man." Gray deadpanned.
"Anyway, as you've witnessed, whenever the purple moon shows its face in the sky, everyone in the village takes on a horrific demon form. If it isn't a curse, then what else could it possibly be?" Moka asked, leaving Natsu speechless. "We'll return to normal once the morning comes and the sun has risen. However, there are some poor souls who can no longer switch back to their human forms for they have lost their minds."
"That's so terrible…" Lucy stated, feeling sorry for them.
"The fate for them, these unfortunate souls in the grip of madness... we've no choice but to put them to death..." Moka lamented, shocking the group.
"But they might change back to normal some day!" Natsu argued.
"If we wait for that to happen, the monsters will surely kill us all. We've tried capturing them, but they've always broken free. It's no use..." Moka sobbed, tears flowing from his eyes, holding a picture of a man he appreciated. "Once it takes hold... there's no way to save them... I should know... I was forced to kill my very own son..."
When everyone saw the photo, they gasped. "That's the same man from the boat," Lucy stated in shock. "But we just saw him yesterday-"
"Shh." Gray shushed. "Now I understand why he disappeared on us like that... He's dead, but his soul can't rest in peace..."
"And so the mystery deepens..." Excella thought out loud. "Now we have ghosts in this island..."
"Great… Just what we need…" Lucy stated, sighing.
"Please lift the evil curse from our Island," Moka begged, bowing to them. "If this goes on much longer, we may all fall victim to it. We'll die."
"We're not gonna let that happen! We can fix this. I promise you." Natsu declared.
"...There's only one way this wretched curse can be lifted. The moon. The moon must be wiped from the sky!" Moka growled, shocking the group.
A while after, the group were in a hut for the night, Happy looking out one of the windows. "I never knew the moon could be so creepy."
"Happy, please close to window," Lucy stated, her and Shinkei unpacking the bags. "I don't want to test if [The Gamer] can counteract the moon rays."
"I'm not so sure about this job, guys." Natsu grumbled.
"Do these people really think we can destroy the moon?" Gray asked.
"I wonder how many punches it'll take... You think I can handle it?"
"Are you kidding me!? Don't be stupid, man."
"Natsu, there isn't a wizard alive who's strong enough to do that. At least, not yet anyway." Nigai told Natsu.
"But that's the job we were hired to do, isn't it? We can't take a job and then back out of it." Natsu argued. "Cause that would make Fairy Tail look bad."
"What they're asking can't be done. How do you think you're gonna get to the moon anyway?" Kaku raised a question.
"With my wings." Natsu declared.
"Nah..." Fang denied. "The wings you get while Fairized won't work."
"Then I'll do it with Happy." Natsu said.
"Ah... I don't think so." Happy shook his head.
"...I think I might know a dragon that could." Excella brought up. "However, we will need to go to a high place. Otherwise, that dragon won't hear the song we play with the lance."
"Destroying the moon is out of the question, sense that would make things worse for the whole planet… You know… there was something weird when we looked at the sky…" Lucy stated, getting everyone's attention.
"How so?" Gray asked.
"Did you notice that the Stars were also purple as well?" she pointed out.
"… I thought it was the light from the moon," Natsu stated.
Lucy shock her head, heading to the window. "Stars are actually suns that a millions of lightyears away, the moon's light shouldn't affect them like that." She then opened the window again.
"I though you wanted that close?" Happy asked, looking confused.
"I just need to check something," she stated, looking to the sky. "[Observer]." After she called that, she got a message box to appeared, surprising everyone.
Crystalized Moon Drip Magic Residue Lens
A giant magical lens made from the residue left behind from the Moon Drip Ritual that left to combined and crystalized over the whole island. Has weird effects on some people.
"… What the hell is Moon Drip?" Lucy asked, confused. "Well they did say it was for a ritual… so if we look for a temple of something, we might get answer…"
By thinking thing logically
Your INT and Wiz have gone up by 1
"So it wasn't the moon itself..." Haseo hummed.
"Let's reach higher ground. I've got a friend to call." Excella declared before Lucy suddenly gets hit by Gray's shirt as he starts to undress.
"You kids can do what you want, but after the day I've had, I need some shut-eye..." Gray sighed, taking his socks off.
"Don't you dare take off anymore..." Lucy growled.
"Okay, our investigation starts tomorrow morning. I'm hitting the sack." Natsu declared, falling onto a bed, Happy after him.
"Me too." Happy said.
"Sounds like a plan to me..." Gray groaned tiredly as he goes to bed as well.
"I guess it would be a good idea to heal fully just in case," Lucy agreed. She looked at her HP and it still was lowered by the earlier attack.
"That's a good idea. Go ahead and sleep. We'll keep watch." Kokoro asked of, referring to herself, Kaku, Daishi, Nigai, Shinkei, and Ichi.
Even amongst the snoring, thanks to [The Gamer's] powers, the entire group was able to get a good night's sleep. Soon enough, morning came, and the group woke up early to start investigating.
"Man, it's so early, but I'm not tired at all," Natsu stated.
"Lucky for you…" Gray snarked, still feeling tired.
"It's thanks to [The Gamer's] power," Lucy stated, stretching. She was happy to see her HP and MP were full again. "You just need six hours to get fully healed when you sleep."
"How convenient for you guys…" Gray and Happy stated, dryly.
"Stop whining and let's go." Kokoro ordered.
"Aye, aye," the two groaned out.
The crew was walking in the jungle for a few minute when Natsu had to ask, "You guys really think this Moon Drip or whatever is the actual cause of the curse?"
"We don't know that for sure." Ichi pointed out. "It's A curse, but we don't know if it's THE curse affecting this island."
"True, and it does only seem to effect to island only," Lucy stated. "We should check everything first before we go for the last option of going for the moon. It's still crazy that Laxus gave us the S-Class Quest in his name though. He was a total jerk when we first met him. What could have changed?"
"Perhaps a certain someone from your guild went and did the unthinkable~" Aina's voice rang out, getting everyone to stop and look around before seeing her in the trees. "Hello~"
"... We have GOT to stop meeting at every mission..." Nigai pointed out. "I know we only met during TWO missions, but it has been TWO MISSIONS IN A ROW."
"Aw~ You're already sick of me~?" Aina asked, feigning her feelings being hurt. "But Haiyai and I have already been here for a while and she'll make this into a race to see who can complete the mission first if she spots you lot~"
"… But the village didn't tell us someone else was on the island for the same mission though," Lucy stated.
"... I guess the magic affecting the island affected their memories as well... No matter." Aina shrugged. "Our mission remains the same."
Just then, there were loud thuds that shook the ground.
"Hm?" Aina huffed in confusion before the group turns and sees a giant monster looming over them, the monster making a laugh.
"Whoa, what the!?"
"It's huge...!" Natsu and Gray respectively gasped.
Lucy pulled her sword out and her keys. "Get ready! We don't know what this thing can do!"
The monster prepares an attack while Gray gets in his Ice Make stance to use a spell. "Ice Make: Shield!" He grunted before producing a shield of ice which blocks the monster's sand attack from its mouth. However, the scent makes everyone cough except for Aina.
"God gods!" Lucy shouted, covering her nose. "That is horrible!"
Natsu was grabbing his throat. Having trouble breathing.
Natsu has been affected by the negative status effect [Sensory Overload]
Status Condition: [Sensory Overload]
Rendered immobile due to smelling too much of something that stinks.
"Guess even [The Gamer] can't help Natsu with all his Dragon senses…" Lucy groaned.
"Aye…" Happy groaned out.
'I'm so glad we can't smell…' all the hero spirits thought.
The giant monster laughed at their misfortune. It walked to them and they saw its name.
Title: Sherry's Best Friend
LV ?
Angelica
"Its level is unreadable. It must be fifty levels above our own...!" Kokoro exclaimed.
"Not mine~ It's level 130, if you have to know~" Aina spoke up, perfectly fine against the rank stench.
"How are you not effected by that thing's breath!?" Gray shouted.
"Simple, really." Aina hummed, standing up and jumping off the tree she was sitting on. "One of my Champions... is half demon and therefore immune to such things, making me, by extension, immune to bad breath~"
"Half demon...!?" The members of Fairy Tail repeated.
"Don't believe me~?" Aina asked before letting out a breath that changes her form. Her skin is now black, her hair becomes spiky, and her sharp dressed clothes become a yellow colored version, power emanating from the sheer power, her voice now in a kind of digital way. "How's this for you?"
ALERT
Aina's stats have increased by X10!
"What the!? Who are you!?" Gray asked in shock.
"Did you forget? I'm Aina Tori." Aina answered before looking at the monster who was looking intimidated. "Now then... I wonder how much rat poison I can imitate before this one actually goes down~"
Angelica grabbed Aina with their tail and sent her flying through a few trees. Aina then suddenly appeared, a wide-eyed look with a smile to match, two gauntlets and armored legs, the four of which having a wolf-like motif before she punches Angelica, knocking her away. "And THIS, ladies and gentlemen, is one of the many, many, MANY weapons I have at my disposal: Beowulf. A pair of gauntlets and armored leggings that enhance my strength, and enhances it even further the more I charge up my attacks. Sleek, stylish, powerful, and, most importantly... the best tool, that's right, she said, THE BEST TOOL! When you've got a troublesome giant monster on your hands~! So, miss Angelica. Tell me. What's your lowest stat? Vitality? Wisdom?" Aina asked, knowing that both those stats are high, but still low compared to Angelica's other stats. "And all by my arithmetic, that makes you... ROYALLY ******." She growled with a wide smile and wide eyes, not just intimidating Angelica, but making her fear for her life.
Option unlocked: Language Censorship
Automatically set to: Bleep
Gray looks at Lucy. "I didn't know the [The Gamer] can sensor language…"
"Me either..." Natsu and the others shook their heads, Aina shrugging.
"All right then... Ready to meet your maker, Angelica...?" Aina growled in bloodlust.
Angelica's instincts told her to flee, so she did, with haste.
"And where do you think you're going?"
Aina hums in confusion from the sudden voice before Angelica was suddenly kicked into the air by a familiar pink haired woman. "Sorry, but we're kicking your butt while we have the chance!" She told before jumping high into the air and kicking Angelica downward. Aina changes back to her normal form.
"I believe I've intimidated Angelica with my presence." Aina hummed out loud. "Once I'm out of its sensing range, it should give Haiyai a little... challenge. No rest for the wicked, I suppose~" She shrugged before going into the temple.
"… Just how powerful is she…?" Gray asked the others.
"No idea..." Lucy shook her head.
The group had made it inside The Temple of the Moon and were surprised at how big it was.
"This place is large," Lucy stated. "Almost feels like a dungeon, but we didn't get a notification it was."
"Yeah, and it's falling apart..." Natsu pointed out.
"I wonder how old it is..." Gray hummed.
"Huh? What are those?" Shinkei pointed at a symbol.
"They're moons." Nigai answered.
"It makes sense. Galuna used to be called the Island of the Moon." Kokoro said.
"A moon island, a moon curse, and moon symbols... You've really gotta wonder what all this means..." Lucy declared.
"Man, this place is a wreck... The floor doesn't even feel safe to walk on..." Natsu grumbled, stomping on the floor.
"Well, don't go stomping on it!" Lucy scolded before Natsu, and all the rest except Aina, who found a safe place to walk on, fall through the floor.
"Natsu, you idiot, look what you did!" Gray shouted before the group lands beneath the floor, rubble on top of them. Natsu was the first to emerge from it.
"Everybody okay?" Natsu asked.
"I'd be better if you hadn't knocked out the floor." Lucy growled.
"Here's a thought: If you think before you act, maybe you wouldn't cause so much destruction!" Gray added.
"Oh my... It looks like you lot found quite a pit to fall into..." Aina stated from above.
"No kidding..." Daishi replied.
"Can you fly us up there, Happy?" Lucy brought up to Happy.
"No, sorry." Happy shook his head.
"We're underneath the temple..." Gray hummed.
"Wow, a secret cave! This is so cool, let's go check it out~!" Natsu cheered, going to run off on his own.
"Would you quit running around like a crazy person!?" Gray exclaimed.
"… Is it wrong to leave him here after the mission…?" Haseo asked Lucy and Excella.
Excella looked at him in shock. "Why would you say something like that?"
"Bad habits from dumbasses being my friends..." Haseo answered. "... Aaand having to start over from level 1 that one time."
"… Do I dare ask…?" Lucy questioned, not sure she wanted to hear the answer or not.
"E-Either way, we have to stop him from going off on his own." Excella proclaimed.
Lucy groans and follows her teammate, the others following her.
Eventually, Natsu stops as if he saw something that shocked him. "Natsu?" Lucy called.
"What's wrong?" Gray asked.
"Hey, guys? What's that?" Natsu asked back. The group checks it out and were equally shocked except for Gray. Gray was even MORE shocked than Natsu was.
"That's impossible...! It's Deliora...!" Gray gasped. "But how...? How could this happen!? Why is it here!? WHAT THE HELL IS IT DOING ON GALUNA ISLAND!?
"You've seen this thing before?" Bakei asked, also there.
"There's no... no way...!" Gray exclaimed in shock, shaking in his boots.
"Collected Calm." Kaku casted, calming Gray down. "Can you tell us about it?"
"...It's Deliora... the Demon of Destruction...!" Gray growled.
"Construction?" Bakei failed to repeat.
"DE-struction." Nigai corrected.
"But why is it here? It doesn't make any sense...!" Gray stated.
Fang groaned, facepalming. "This Quest just keeps getting more and more convoluted."
Lucy, Haseo and Excella heard footsteps coming their ways. "There are two people coming," Haseo stated.
"Group Camo." Kaku said, making everyone invisible. "Now we won't be seen, and we won't need to be in cover in order to be unseen. We just need to keep quiet."
"This is useful," Gray stated.
"The voice seemed to come from down here," a blue haired, smug man stated. Next to him was a dog like man, scratching his abs, who just growled. "I hate being awake during the day. So Toby, were you exposed to the Moon Drip? You've got those pointy ears."
This angered the now named Toby. "I ALREADY TOLD YOU! THEY'YE A FASHION STATEMENT, YOU JERK!"
Kokoro uses [Observe] to look at their respective titles, names, and possibly stats.

"Moon Drip…" Lucy stated. "Just like the residue lens?" Just then they heard a third person coming.
"Lighten up, I was just teasing you..." Yuka mused.
"You don't have to be so mean about it..." Toby pouted.
"Yuka. Toby. Something terrible has happened." A woman with pink hair and a black dress told as she appeared.
"What now, Sherry?" Yuka asked, Toby yowling as he greeted her.
"It's Angelica... She's been attacked and I'm sad..." The woman known as Sherry sobbed.
"You're moping around because somebody beat up your stupid pet rat!?" Toby exclaimed.
"She's not a rat. She's a brave hunter prowling the jungle to protect us. She is love..."
"... I know that I know a lot of weirdos from Fairy Tail, but talk about a bunch of weirdos, especially the chick with the pet rat..." Lucy whispered.
"Judging by the scent I picked up off them, they're not from the island." Natsu notified.
"And they don't look like they have the demon curse." Happy added.
"Intruders, you say?" Yuka brought up, catching everyone's attention.
"And it's almost time to begin collecting moonlight again. Oh, it makes me so sad..." Sherry sobbed. "This news could displease the cold emperor... We should get rid of them before he finds out... Yes, we must find them before the moon's first light."
"Agreed." Yuka said, Toby growling in agreement.
"Since they've seen Deliora, they can't be allowed to live. We'll give them the gift of eternal rest. We'll give them love..."
"You're talking about death, right?" Toby replied, confused. A stone clacks.
"What was that?" Sherry huffed, hearing it along with the two.
"Over there." Yuka alerted, running towards the sound, the two following him.
"G-Good job, Happy." Shinkei complimented Happy who was the one to throw the stone, the camouflage undone.
"Aye." Happy nodded.
"Their levels and stats were unreadable. We couldn't grab them and beat some answers out of them if we tried..." Kokoro adjusted her glasses. "Not yet, anyway. Come on. Let's do some investigating."
"Man, this job keeps getting more and more complicated..." Natsu complained.
"Right, like who is this cold emperor guy?" Happy brought up.
"Deliora... I still don't understand what anyone would want with it... And how the hell were they even able to find it?" Gray let out his confusion.
"Was it hidden somewhere?" Daishi asked.
"It was sealed away... inside a glacier on the northern continent. A decade ago, the immortal demon ravaged Isvan. Countless people lost their lives. The woman who taught me how to use my magic, my master Ur, sacrificed everything to seal it away. I don't know if it has anything to do with the curse on this island, but I DO know that it doesn't belong here. This cold emperor, we have to find out who it is. If they tarnish my master's legacy, they're gonna regret the day they were born!" Gray growled, emitting ice magic from his fists.
Just then a Secret Quest box appeared.
