Doral was wondering why he was getting more crew members. Recently his ship's Raiders had shown a worrisome lower-than-average response time after the malfunctioning Model 6 had been disposed of and he had been ordered to keep a watch on the 4 Colonial ships that he felt was beneath his skills. Now they were sending a 2, 6, and 8 to his ship to tell them his new orders. Hopefully, he could go back out looking for more humans to remove.
The Six and the Eight were wearing a jumpsuit that almost looked like a uniform, which Doral approved of. The Number Two, however, was wearing a dirty outfit that made him look like he was a mechanic with a large overstuffed jacket. Odd but the "Leobons" were always odd. What was unusual is that this small group the Two seemed to be in charge. Usually, a Six dominated whenever a One or Three was not present. Not so much by any rank but more force of personality. "Greetings, Brother and Sisters," said Doral.
The Number 2 quickly pulled a Colonial handgun out of his pocket and shot the Doral in the head. "Greetings, Brother," said Sergeant Ashby with a sneer. Ashby then passed sidearms to the other two Colonials. "If this doesn't work we are frakked" he said.
LT Kahn dipped her fingers into the goo and said "they have accepted my orders to allow the Heavy Raider to land." LT Kahn was uncertain how to process the massive amount of information she had received. Luckily the Centurions and Raiders seemed indifferent to the current events.
With a thankful sigh, Ashby took off his jacket. Underneath, he had 20 kilos of plastic explosives strapped to him. If this hadn't worked, they were to blow up the bridge of the Baseship and hope that in the confusion, the mission might be able to proceed. While they were waiting LT Khan downloaded as much information as they could. 'Hmm, not everything that Alexa Crowe said was accurate' thought LT Kahn. Not exactly a lie but more deliberately leaving information out. "The Centurions are loading the Heavy Raiders while we wait" she reported.
After the Heavy Raider landed they waited until Olivia Roberts came to the bridge. When she linked up Roberts said, "the ship is mine. The others are ready to jump out."
"The Centurions report that they are ready to send the last group of prisoners to the Polaris" said Olivia Roberts. The timing of this was very tight. They not only had to wait until the prisoners had been loaded onto the Polaris they had to remove the danger the Chi 8 and other Baseships represented.
Chi 8 Landing Bay
LT Reggie "Oatmeal" Donaldson and LT Cory "Kipe" Meyers waited patiently on the Heavy Raider. And by patiently, that means knowing you will die if the Toasters decides to notice them and the stress that even if this works, there are many more parts to the plan. "Reg, I see who I think is Ashby and Kahn returning. Don't know where the blondie is though" said Cory Meyers.
The Model Eight hit the button and then climbed up the ramp. After a quick "Wildcats Rock" which was ironic as the Wildcats were the only team that had sucked longer than the Bucs did they relax. "Riptide where is Kerrigan" asked LT Meyers.
"She decided to stay here" said LT Kahn. Kerrigan had been flakey since being reborn so not a huge surprise but LT Kahn took it personally as her position was tenuous at best and any issues caused by the friendly Cylons didn't make things easier for her. "We need to get to our Heavy Raptors."
'The Cylons were frankly naive to the point of stupidity' thought Eva Kahn (being well aware of the irony of that thought). When told to put as many missiles as possible into 3 Heavy Raiders and ensure they were fully fueled, they did as they were told. When told to ignore the humans by Olivia Roberts they also complied with this order. Maybe the Sixes' belief that the Centurions and Raiders better liked them was true. The Sixes at least tried to minimize the losses of all Cylons instead of taking the "well, the Raiders and Centurions will probably be reborn" logic that the others showed. Or not. Oatmeal and Kipe were waiting in their Heavy Raiders. "Sergeant Ashby I wish you luck" said LT Kahn before she got into her Heavy Raider.
The Heavy Raiders left the Chi 8 after they were told the last of the test subjects had been loaded onto the Polaris and, when it was safe, jumped out to their rendezvous locations.

Helios Gamma Oort Cloud
Comet G425587

Comet G425587 was just over a kilometer in size and nothing different than the other million or so similar-sized icy objects in the Helios Gamma Oort Cloud. It was "picked" by drawing numbers out of 6 cups. Captain Elizabeth Talbot thought (again) about how tight this timing needed to be. According to their "friends," it took around one hour to download the memories of a dead Skinjob. When a Skinjob was killed, the information traveled to the closest Baseship or Ressurection ship, but not always. Most likely, the memories of this "Doral" would end up on one of their allied Baseships, but that was not guaranteed. There was a lot of uncertainty that was glossed over with, in her opinion, religious nonsense that the Skinjobs had regarding resurrection, probably caused by them not understanding the actual science behind it.
"Sir we just got had a single Heavy Raider jump into range" said Ensign Coulter.
"Atlis Actual this is Kipe" said the voice over the radio. "We are good to go. All the hostages are currently on the Polaris and the Chi 8 jump away from Scorpia."
"Kipe thank you. Proceed to your next location" said Captain Talbot.
"Yes sir, and good luck, Carrot," said LT "Kipe" Meyers before his Heavy Raptor blinked out of existence.
Grabbing the microphone and hitting the button, "Attention all personnel. We are jumping to Scorpia. Be ready for whatever might be there," said Captain Talbot. The dradis confirmed that the Chi 8 was no longer in its holding pattern. The four Colonial ships were still in the expeceted location and any Cylon ships were light minutes away. 'Frak, this might work,' thought Captain Zoe Talbot.
Colonial Marine Shuttle 1014
LT Becker made sure the other three shuttles headed to their targets. The 1014 was heading towards the Polaris, which was the most important of the four targets. On this shuttle, he had a total of 40 people. Eighteen of his Marines, a pair of pilots, and 20 CIF personnel. Sergeant Ashby was waiting to help, which was appreciated because if this was a trap or the Centurions ignored the order to leave the ship, they were in trouble. According to the "Ravens," the new model of Toasters is tough and dangerous, but hopefully, a Skinjob would make them stand down. The search showed the Polaris was empty of Cylons, and the reports from the other ships showed the same thing.
"Sir LT Gibbs reports that the Polaris is ready to jump along with the other two ships," said Private Nysa.
"Thank you, Private," said LT Becker. He then turned to talk to Sgt. Ashby. "Sergeant Ashby, you have done an excellent service to the Marines," said LT Becker with a sharp salute.
"Thank you sir" said Sgt. Ashby.
With that, Ashby turned and entered the Heavy Raider.

"Sir, all ships report they are ready," said Ensign Coulter.
"All ships in Task Force Gamma get ready to jump to the rendezvous location" said Captain Talbot. "Canopis, best of luck," she ended the message.
Colonial Tyleum Refueling Ship Canopis
Sergeant Lewis Ashby had spent almost 20 years in the Colonial Marines and had never received even the most basic of pilot training. As much as he hated admitting he was a Cylon that he somehow knew how to pilot a Heavy Raider was the final proof. 'Wait, that's the wrong term,' thought Ashby. When he woke up in a Cylon ship and saw dozens of his clones, he knew he was a Cylon. Ever since Ashby had stopped drinking, he would not lie to himself. Now he knew his drinking and waking up in unknown locations was likely for different reasons. His drinking and blackouts had ended when he met Jennifer. Jennifer had just lost her husband and was part of the same support group, and one thing had led to another, and they had gotten married. The drinking and, more importantly, the confusion that only drinking seemed to delay had ended, and the last six years after marrying her had been the best of his life, with his career taking a marked improvement, ending up with him being stationed on Picon Fleet Base.
Jennifer and her two sons had meant everything to him, and to wake up after seeing weird flashing lights in a puddle of slime where a slack-jawed version of himself spouting religious nonsense about the "will of god" had pissed him off. So when Commander Jasper and Commander Gabrielle mentioned this possible mission, he jumped at it. The Canopis was a huge ship, the type that would be able to supply dozens of bulk cargo ships or passenger liners with tyleum. Flying the damn thing did not require a particularly large crew, and this mission would be fairly short with the information he needed had been programmed into the system.
Vesta was a very large asteroid in the Ouranos Belt that had supplied the Virgon Empire with tyleum for almost a millennia. While there were bigger and better tyleum mines in the Cyrannus System Vesta was probably the most developed. While the Cylons had not captured it intact, the damage had been repaired, and the Vesta Mines was currently the main tyleum supply for the Cylons in the Cyrannus System.
According to the scouting trips and what the Toaster systems reported, almost all tyleum mining ships, refineries, and refueling ships were captured Colonial versions. According to Major Anders, the Cylons had (if the information given was accurate and the evidence supported this) a very weak logistical train.
With the borrowed nuclear bombardment missiles that had been scheduled to fire on Scorpia now that the "Farms" had been removed and millions of liters of tyleum along with a ship weighing almost a million tons this will hopefully frak up the Cylons with only the loss of a single ship and a single Marine. Hitting the button, Sergeant Lewis Ashby hoped he would not be reborn again but was willing to take the risk.
Day 203
Cyrannus System
Helios Alpha
Caprica Orbit
Baseship Alpha 8
Philip Cavil wanted to be out there looking for the Galactica, but showing his "parents" the error of their ways was left up to his "brother" John. The continued destruction of the 12 Colonies outside of Scorpia and Caprica had been completed. There certainly were some humans hidden in some bunker on the planets, but they were likely less than a million spread out over 10 planets, and most of those would be dead in a few years after their anti-radiation medicine ran out.
The four solar systems had been less effective. Hundreds of ships had been found along with a few military ships with a Picon Supplystar being a far more dangerous and annoying adversary than expected being destroyed only a few days ago. Any asteroid bases that had Colonial records they had been able to find had been investigated with dozens holding civilians and one being a smuggler base that likely had been supporting the Picon ship. Things were improving with almost all Baseships repaired and the shocking number of Raiders lost starting to be replaced. Philip had always been considered a "worrier" by his brothers as he felt that sending out the Baseships which could easily carry over 600 Raiders with a normal complement of 200 to be well stupid but the timeframe of needing to attack on the 40th Anniversary of the Cimtar Accords had overridden that debate. Another 100,000 Raiders would have made their victory and clean-up much easier but John had disagreed and then left the job of insuring their victory to Philip.
His fellow Model One Mark, who had shown to be less than competent in his search of the Kestral and then lost 4 Baseships against the Rycon, had been assigned as his assistant. At least Mark had the proper zeal when it came to removing humans.
"We are getting reports of a major Colonial attack in the Beta System. Around 10 Colonial ships with at least 2 Battlestars," said Mark.
"The Galactica and Pegasus have returned" asked Phillip with a shocked voice.
"No, it's a Valkyrie and an Artemis with at least 3 Missilestars and 3 Gunstars, along with some other smaller uncertain ships," said Mark.
Looking over the numbers, he saw that the Missilestars were 1 Ranger class and 2 Rover class. "How the frak did they even find each other?" said Philip. The Erebus and Nemea had not been seen in months other than some Raptors that might be theirs. The Orion had been seen with a Gunstar and an Escortstar but the Ivor and Gregor (as the most likely two other Gunstars) had done some raiding of supply lines but were thought to be in the Denalto Sector. However they had met up if they wanted to fight he would be more than willing to comply with over 10 Baseships in the Beta System alone but why let them escape?
"Order the Alpha, Gamma, and Delta fleets to meet with the Beta fleets. We are going to show these humans that we can fight" said Philip. Each System would leave a few Baseships in case this is a ruse, but they could come back in time if it were. 40 Baseships would more than kick the ass of these humans.

Sorry for the delay. The next part hopefully should be out in a week or so.
