The days after Tamsin's memorial were a time of trying for Bo. She wanted to go to the old manor house many times, but could never bring herself to do so. Nights became colder and longer, and Bo felt lonelier than ever before. But she had to keep going, and things had gotten busier than ever. Still Bo was slow to recover, never keeping Tamsin far from her thoughts. Clients kept her busy, not to mention helping the Light Fae out with their problems while they began to look for a new Ash. But Bo's heart was forever fragmented.
Days and weeks continued to pass, and before she knew it, a whole year had gone by. And it was a very long year to say the least. Bo was being followed by the Nain Rouge, fore-warner of all things terrible. She found out that Trick is her grandfather, and learned more about her family, especially her grandmother. Bo finds out why Dyson was gone for awhile and so cold to her when he returned after finally confessing to her that he gave his love away in order to save her from Aife. Lauren and Bo accepted their feelings for each other, and Lauren is now fully aware that Bo's powers have nothing to do with magic at all. It is something that intrigues Lauren and also makes her afraid, always looking for treatment that will stabilize Bo, to no avail. Bo also found out about Lauren's secret love that she ended up having to kill. Kenzi even found herself a boo, but chose to part with him because of her dangerous lifestyle. Bo and The Morrigan were on somewhat better terms until Bo pulled a stunt that embarrassed her beyond belief. And the gang found out the hard way the consequences of Trick's writings in his Book of Blood when they had to face The Garuda, who killed the new Ash, among others. But they were able to defeat him, by Bo making the gang her thralls using her blood.
Now, Hale is the new acting Ash. And Bo and Lauren are in a relationship together. Dyson hasn't told Bo that he has his love back for her, and just buys his time until the right moment. He doesn't like the fact that Bo and Lauren are together either, but then again he doesn't like Bo being with anyone other than him. And Vex has been living with Bo and Kenzi after being cast out of the fold by The Morrigan for reasons of his own doing. Once a proud owner of several clubs, Vex now finds himself destitute. Bo, with The Morrigan still reeling from the uncompromising position she was placed in, is on her shit list once again, with enemies attacking her in full force.
And with all that, things are starting to change inside of Bo. She has become more powerful and yet unpredictable. Just the day before, after going undercover as an inmate and exposing Hecuba prison for what it was, she walked out of The Dal on a new high, and out of nowhere drained the chi of a Dark Fae, putting him in a coma to which she has no memories of doing.
Presently, it is dark and raining outside. Suddenly a rumbling is heard from underneath the burial site of Tamsin. The ground breaks open as several chains burst from it, taking hold of anything in their path, pulling. Then hands are seen coming through the muddy ground, and Tamsin climbs out, wet, dirt and grime all over her, dressed in what was a white gown. Her hair has grown far beyond her backside. She gasps for air.
At the same time, Bo wakes up from having had a nightmare, holding her chest, Lauren next to her in bed. "Bo are you okay?" asks Lauren, concerned, sitting up.
"Yeah, I'm fine," says Bo, with a frown. Sweat forming across her forehead. Her breathing is heavy.
Lauren touches her. "Gosh, you're burning up! Let me get my medical bag."
"No, that's okay. I'm fine Lauren, it was…it was just a uh, bad dream," says Bo.
Lauren gives her a look. "You've been having them for the past few days. But with the screaming, I'd say this one is the worst of them by far." Lauren pauses. "I'm worried about you Bo."
"I'm fine, really," says Bo, mustering a smile.
Lauren smiles back. "Well good because I was beginning to think that all of this is stemming from being in a committed relationship with me."
"Well I can assure you that it isn't." Bo places her hand alongside Lauren's face. "This is what I want Lauren. And you are who I want to be with," she says, in a comforting tone.
Lauren looks as if her heart has just melted. "This is what I want too Bo," she says, her eyes earnest. Bo kisses Lauren on the lips. "Are you sure everything's okay? Do you need me to get you anything?"
Bo shakes her head. "I'm okay. I was just on my way to the bathroom," she says, getting out of the bed. "Get some rest, I know you must be tired." She places a cover over Lauren.
"I think tired would be an understatement. But it has been well worth it."
Bo smiles and kisses her on the cheek. She then goes into the bathroom, and splashes water on her face. Bo looks into the mirror, and her eyes begin to glow.
At The Morrigan's Office. The Morrigan is inside, working late. She steps out for a second, and when she returns she sees a black rose on her desk. She is wearing this bizarre expression, looking around, not noticing anything out of the ordinary. The Morrigan shakes her head and goes over to her desk, sitting down. She calls her assistant. The assistant rushes in. "Yes Madame Morrigan?" says the assistant, bowing.
"Has anyone been in my office? Perhaps Tuxedo Mask by any chance?" asks The Morrigan.
The assistant looks at her oddly. "Who is Tuxedo Mask?"
"Oh forget it. And the name implies itself. But has anyone been here seriously?"
"No Madame, only you. Why is there a concern? Should I phone for security?"
The Morrigan frowns. "No, that won't be necessary. You may go now."
The assistant leaves and The Morrigan goes back to her files. She sees something shining from the corner of her eye, but when she looks over there is nothing to see. "I need to start drinking decaf," she says, shaking her head. Then she goes back over to her files. She sees something again and looks up. "Okay, since I know that I'm not going insane, either you are and you have a death-wish. Show yourself." And just as soon as The Morrigan blinks her eye, she almost falls out of her chair. "Tamsin?!" she exclaims. Tamsin stands there in front of the desk, quietly observing The Morrigan as if she is seeing her for the first time. The Morrigan stands up from her desk. She sighs and shakes her head. "I never know with you, you know that? I never know if it will be the last time. And just look at you." Tamsin's clothes are fairly soaked and dirty. The Morrigan hits a button on her phone. "Bring in some fresh towels." The Morrigan is inspecting Tamsin. "What took you so long? You never took this long before. I thought you weren't coming back," she says. Tamsin is unresponsive, speaking only through her eyes that seemed to have had their share of an ordeal themselves. The assistant hurries in with towels, shocked by Tamsin, but appearing usual. The Morrigan is drying off Tamsin. "We spoke of this before."
"Yes Madame," says the assistant, nodding.
"Ready the room. Make sure there are clothes laid out for her. She's going to need a ton of food so make preparations." The Morrigan is still probing Tamsin. "Oh honey I think we may need a team for this. You were gone for so long, but look at your hair," she says, rather impressed. "Damn death does do you good." She looks over to her assistant. "And you're still standing here because?"
"Oh yes. Right away. My apologies," says the assistant, with a bow, hurriedly exiting.
Later, Tamsin is clean and in a white robe. She would not allow anyone to touch her hair and took the liberty of cutting it on her own, burning what was cut. A buffet of food awaits Tamsin in the dining hall. The Morrigan enters. "Now you're looking like yourself again," she says, with a smile, folding her arms. Tamsin is still unresponsive, looking at the food. "Well go on, eat. I know you're famished." Tamsin is reluctant at first, but begins to eat like she's never eaten a day in her life. The Morrigan exits.
Some time has passed, and The Morrigan is lying in her bed, wearing a black laced babydoll nightgown and a pair of black, pointed-toe high heels with the ankle straps, Tom Ford. She is still working, looking over artists on her iPad. Tamsin comes in fully dressed, now looking like her former self, except her eyes, the color is still ice blue, but a darkness lingers behind them. The Morrigan looks up. "What is it?"
Tamsin slants her head while she leans against the wall. "Thank you."
The Morrigan looks surprised. She clears her throat. "No thanks necessary."
Tamsin continues. "For visiting me…every week."
The Morrigan gives her a peculiar look. "How would you even know that?"
"And for always leaving me a rose."
The Morrigan shakes her head with a frown. "I don't know how you know that. That was something that was kept in strict confidence." The Morrigan sighs. "You weren't supposed to know that." Tamsin just stares at her like she is seeing through her soul. "What is it that you do remember Tamsin?" asks The Morrigan, putting her iPad away.
Tamsin folds her arms. She looks as if she is solving the world's toughest equation. Then she closes her eyes and a dark image flashes with streaks in her mind. "Pain…," she says, reopening them. The Morrigan is a bit on the uneasy side. Tamsin continues. "That…I'm Dark Fae. And…I was a detective." Tamsin takes a long pause. "And you." The Morrigan raises her eyebrow from this comment. Tamsin places her hand against the wall. "Your heart is beating faster. Why is that?"
The Morrigan shakes her head. "Tamsin, you always do this," she says, frustrated. "You play with my head, just to make me out to be a fool. And I'm not falling for it. I'm not going to continue being your unending joke," she says. Tamsin gives her a very lost expression. "And I can't do this anymore either. I helped you this time even after all the shit you put me through. But it's the last one Tamsin. The last time."
Tamsin frowns. "I don't understand."
"Of course you don't, but you will," says The Morrigan. Tamsin is looking inside of her. The Morrigan sighs. "What are you doing?"
"Seeing you."
This makes The Morrigan's heart beat even faster. "Don't do this to me Tamsin," she says, shaking her head.
"Do what?" asks Tamsin, slanting her head to the side.
"What you're doing? You're playing with my head, and you don't even know it," says The Morrigan. Tamsin closes her eyes again. Her nails dig into the wall. Chains come from Tamsin's back, moving as if they were alive in every which way. The Morrigan is giving her quite the look now. "Tamsin, I don't have time for any of your little friends showing up."
The chains go through the walls as if the walls were fluid, not disturbing it, yet the walls ripple. Tamsin opens her eyes and the blue has changed to red, with black encircling it. Then she slowly walks to The Morrigan. Black roses begin to fall towards The Morrigan by way of the chains until the 52nd rose falls. "One for every one that you left," says Tamsin. The Morrigan is at a loss for words. Tamsin places her hands on the bed. The Morrigan scoots back towards the headboard.
Tamsin taps her index finger against the upper side of her head as if tapping her mind, like she is letting The Morrigan know that she knows what she is thinking. She returns both hands to the bed. Then the chains pull The Morrigan over to her, in between Tamsin's hands. She looks up at Tamsin, who is looking into her eyes with this insatiable hunger in them, still red, but the black that has encircled the red now has formed vein-like marks inside of it. "Do you know what you're even doing?" asks The Morrigan. Then chains move along her exposed skin like multiple hands, caressing her body. Tamsin gives her a not so subtle and rather naughty smirk. The chains slide underneath The Morrigan's nightgown. And Tamsin stands, watching as the chains discover all of her hot spots. "…Tamsin…oh shit…you had better not…fuck…you had…oh yes…right there…you had better not be…oh fuck Tamsin…" says The Morrigan, in between moans, unable to finish her statement. After a moment or two The Morrigan regains her herself. "Okay, wait wait. I uh, this is, just stop. Stop. This, this isn't right." The chains release her, but still coils from Tamsin's backside. The Morrigan lifts up.
Tamsin's appears confused. "Is this not what you want? What you always wanted?"
The Morrigan brushes her hair back and clears her throat. "Now, normally I wouldn't give a damn about a situation like this, well there's never been a situation quite like this before. And it's you. You just awakened. And you don't even remember much. Regardless of what I'm thinking right now, or how I feel at the moment. I might be a lot of things. Well it depends on what you heard. But a girl does have limits." She shakes her head. "And you're probably still a toddler. Come back when you're all grown up and then we might talk." She pauses. "What a girl wouldn't give for a smoke right about now," she adds, in a whisper to herself.
Tamsin's eyes piercing. "I have grown up."
The Morrigan thinks about her answer for about two seconds. Then. "Well fuck it I tried." Suddenly The Morrigan pulls Tamsin down to her, ripping her shirt open, and they kiss, ravenously.
She unbuttons Tamsin's pants as they kiss. Then Tamsin tears the gown off of The Morrigan with one tug of it, pushing The Morrigan down against the bed, climbing on top of her. The chains do away with Tamsin's pants. She studies her before sliding off The Morrigan's panties, who watches Tamsin in anticipation. Then chains pull The Morrigan to the center of the bed, stretching her arms out, wrapping around her wrists and the bed post, The Morrigan along with her body excited. Tamsin moves closer, sitting up between The Morrigan's legs. A chain grabs a candle that has been lit and hands it to Tamsin. She takes it, and pours the wax across each side of The Morrigan's chest, who shrills from the pleasure and pain of it. Then more wax is poured onto her, stopping at her navel. As the wax dries, Tamsin pulls it off of her and then reapplies it again, The Morrigan reacting.
She wraps her legs around Tamsin. The chains rub against her, wiping away the wax. Then Tamsin begins grinding on her. The Morrigan's eyes closed, moaning incessantly. Then she feels something inside of her, penetrating. And hands touching the inside of her. She begins to lose control of herself, the chains latching on to her insides, and one single formed of many stroking. She begs Tamsin to let her touch her. Yet Tamsin seems to take pleasure in The Morrigan's wanting, and ignores her request, continuing.
Finally Tamsin releases The Morrigan's hands and she holds onto her as Tamsin continues, rubbing her hands through Tamsin's hair. Then some chains latch on to her back, going down it in a line, through her skin, blood oozing. They burn inside of The Morrigan, but it is of passion. Tamsin continues, but The Morrigan can't take it anymore, then a few chains wrap around her neck, choking her. She holds onto the chains trying to catch her breath through moans. The chains wrap around tighter as she climaxes. Her eyes roll back and it seems like she is about to pass out. The chains release, and Tamsin stops, looking down at her. The Morrigan is breathing hard, trying to return to some normalcy, her eyes remain closed. Quiet ensues.
"That was one hell of a dream, wouldn't you say," says Tamsin, standing against the wall, watching her, arms folded.
The Morrigan opens her eyes and looks at her surroundings. She is as she was before, night gown on, tablet by her side. "What?!" she says, in utter disbelief and confusion. "I was dreaming?" She shakes her head. "That was, I was…" Then she clears her throat. "Just how long have you been standing there?"
"Long enough."
The Morrigan appears flushed from embarrassment. She regains her composure, sitting up in the bed. "Well, I must have been really tired." The Morrigan is wearing this what-the-hell look on her face. "Anyway, what the hell are you standing there for?"
"We were talking?"
"Oh. Well, I guess that makes sense." The Morrigan sighs a deep sigh. "Well, what is that you want from me Tamsin?"
"The same duties that I had before."
"Which is?"
"My job."
"Your job? And just how do you expect me to explain how you've been missing for a year?"
"I'm sure you can come up with something." Tamsin takes a minute then. "I remember having other duties outside of work. I'm sure you will get me up to speed on those as well."
"Fine Tamsin. Is that all?" says The Morrigan, really wanting this situation to end.
"For now." Tamsin starts walking away. She stops before she exits the room. "You know dreams seem to walk a fine line between what is real and what is not, but it's up to us to choose which is it." Then she exits.
The Morrigan is left deep in thought. She looks around and sees a single black rose resting on her nightstand.
At Jackson's Gym. Tamsin walks into the gym and of course all of the guys are hooting and hollering at her. Her walk is bold and full of confidence. Dyson is busy boxing with someone in the ring when he hears the familiar voice. "I got twenty on the white boy, going down for the count that is," says Tamsin.
Dyson looks as if he has just seen a ghost, stopping in his tracks to which makes him vulnerable to an attack to the face by his opponent. "Tamsin?" he says, spitting blood from his mouth.
"That's right," she says, with a smirk. "And you must be Dyson." Dyson appears confused, not knowing if she is being sarcastic or serious, he gets hit again. His eyes changes colors and he knocks his opponent out. "And how I was so looking forward to seeing just the opposite, oh well."
Dyson steps out of the ring. He walks to an isolated part of the room. Dyson places his hand on her shoulder. "Tamsin, what the hell happened to you? I thought you were dead," he says.
Tamsin frowns. "You seem awfully friendly with the hand, you mind taking it off of me, now," she says, threatening.
Dyson gives her an odd look. She looks at him with the same expression. "If you're trying to be funny, now is not a good time for jokes Tamsin," he says.
"Whoever said that I was joking?" she says, raising an eyebrow.
Dyson appears taken aback. "You mean to tell me that you don't remember me?"
"Am I supposed to?" she responds. "And if you read your memo it would have told you that I've been working undercover for a year."
"I don't read memos. And I was your partner. If that was the case then I would've known."
"I'm guessing that's why they call it undercover now isn't it? And I don't recall as much. But we don't have time for this shit. There's two Fae city workers missing, a few missing humans, and one very dead one." She hands him a folder. "There's been sewer alligator sightings." Dyson is still giving her a questioning look. Tamsin continues. "Our orders are to take them out. The higher ups don't appreciate them kissing-and-telling out in the open like that. Could risk exposing us if you know what I mean?"
Dyson shakes his head and then begins to look over the files. "Sewer alligators?" He pauses and looks up at Tamsin. "Does Bo know that you're back?" he asks.
Tamsin frowns. "Are you referring to the unaligned Succubus?"
Now Dyson looks at her as if she is off her rocker. "Yes, that would be her."
"Tell me, why in the hell would I care if she knew that I was here or not?" asks Tamsin, shrugging, really wanting to know. Dyson doesn't know what to say. "Like I said we're up. Might want to put a shirt on that chest. I know how you pretty boys feel about dirt and all. And shit is definitely about to get real."
Bo and Kenzi have already been to the crime scene and underground to try to find Kenzi's friend Aussie, who is among the missing. They run into some trouble of their own by way of Atticus, who gases them and takes them home. The next day, Bo and Kenzi awake in Bo's bed snuggled together, Vex eating cereal, watching. After they piece together how exactly they ended up there, they team up against a handicapped Vex in an all out pillow fight.
Dyson enters the room, unexpectedly. He clears his throat. "Sorry for interrupting. Your door was unlocked."
"Oh wow, Dyson. Didn't expect to see you here. I'll be sure to lock up next time," says Bo, with a smile.
"Well you never know who might just show up," says Dyson.
"So what up D-man?" says Kenzi.
"Kenzi," says Dyson, with a wave.
"Come to reconsider me being your partner eh?" says Vex.
"Sorry to disappoint, but that position has been filled," says Dyson. Suddenly all the smiles fade when Tamsin walks in.
"Tamsin?" says Bo, in utter shock. Then all of those buried feelings she had for her rushes inside, but she cannot acknowledge them for confusion and panic seems to overwhelm her entirely. Tamsin gives Bo a rather peculiar look.
Vex is looking shocked and guarded as ever. "Have to admit mate, I did not see this one coming." Kenzi suddenly faints, and Bo catches her. Tamsin frowns. "Oh bloody hell," says Vex.
Bo is fanning Kenzi. She looks over to Dyson. "This isn't really happening is it?" she says. Dyson shrugs his shoulders. Bo looks over to Tamsin. "I mean, you're really here." Dyson helps Bo place Kenzi onto the bed.
"Last time I checked. So Bo is it? I've heard much about you," says Tamsin, with her head slanted, looking at Bo. "Now I get to see what all the talk is about."
"Um what?" says Bo, so confused. Tamsin is looking at her, arms folded. "I don't get it. I mean what does that even mean?"
"I'm not one to pry, but by any chance did you happen to partake in any illicit drugs on your way here? Not that I'm judging, just want to know your dealer is all," says Vex.
"Oh Vex, some things just never changed, but from my understanding it has for you. Let's see, you go from being hot shit to, well shit," says Tamsin. Vex gives her a look of disdain. "And squatting with the Succubus and her pet at that," says Tamsin, shaking her head. Now Bo is looking offended. "Even the elders won't look at you twice. One would say that it's all pretty tragic, if anyone actually cared."
"Oh Tamsin darling, I don't recall you being such a bitch, oh wait I do," says Vex.
Tamsin gives him a very menacing look. "I'll let that one slide since you don't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of. But let it slip again, and you'll have two broken arms, with matching legs," she says, with a smile.
"No need to get all foreboding and periling on me limbs luv. I mean you no harm," say Vex.
"As if you could," responds Tamsin, smartly.
"I see. Kick a fella when he's down why don't ya," says Vex.
"You think you two can go easy on one another? This is not what we came here for," says Dyson, looking over to Tamsin, who presses her lips together in spite.
Vex folds his arm over his broken one in a sort of pouting manner. Bo is still not understanding the situation. She looks at Tamsin and shakes her head as if it would somehow make sense of everything. Kenzi comes to, sees Tamsin, and faints again.
"Oh for crying out loud," says Vex, beginning to grow weary of Kenzi's fainting. Tamsin does her usual expression of boredom.
Dyson goes into the bathroom and returns with a wet cloth for Kenzi. Bo places it on her forehead. Kenzi begins to come to again. "Kenzi, are you alright?" asks Dyson.
"I think so," says Kenzi, slowly lifting up, still looking at Dyson. "Oh D-man, you wouldn't even believe me if I told you, but I mean it was the weirdest shit, I thought that I saw..."says Kenzi, cutting herself off after looking at Bo, who is wearing the same expression she had before she had passed out. Now Kenzi's breathing gets heavier as the realization starts to kick in. "You mean to tell me that…" she says as she slowly looks over to Tamsin again. Kenzi starts to hyperventilate. "I think…I'm having…like, like a heart attack," she says, holding her chest, wheezing. "Paper…bag…please."
Vex finds a paper bag and hands it to Kenzi. "Now you can't say that I never did anything for you."
"…Gee…many thanks," says Kenzi.
Tamsin interrupts. "So Bo, I've heard much about you," she says, with her head slanted, looking at Bo. "I have to say though, I am not really impressed." Everyone gives her an odd look.
"Um what?" says Bo, with a frown.
"This may be more than just drugs talking. Still want the number to that dealer however," says Vex.
"Burn…That was…definitely a good…impression of Tamsin," says Kenzi, through the bag. "…But don't…come any closer…Death Becomes Her," she says, moving to the corner of the room. Tamsin with her arms folded gives Kenzi a bewildered look, then an annoyed one.
"Bo I need to have a word with you," says Dyson.
"Yeah," says Bo, nodding her head, looking at Tamsin. "Definitely."
"Oh sure, leave us with LiLo will ya," says Vex, not taking his eyes off of Tamsin.
"…Dawn of…the Dead…you mean," says Kenzi, under breath, continually breathing in and out of the bag.
"Yeah, don't worry about lil'o us, I'm sure everything will be just peachy," Vex adds.
Dyson and Bo walk into the bathroom. "Bo, I need you to come down to the precinct."
"No, what you need to do is tell me what the hell is going on?" says Bo.
"Your guess is as good as mine Bo," says Dyson.
"What is that suppose to mean Dyson? You're the one who brought her here." Bo paces. "Am I being Punk'd or something?" She places her hands on her head. "Tell me that I'm not going insane here. I mean she was dead Dyson, do you understand that? Or I thought she was dead. No I saw her die. And now she's standing in my bedroom. What the hell is happening? And how the hell did you end up with her anyway?"
"Bo, we all thought that she was dead, but she just showed up out of nowhere. They're saying that she's been undercover the whole time. Sounds far-fetched but we didn't see a body either. They told me that I was getting a new partner, but I didn't know it was her. But Bo listen…" says Dyson, being cut off.
"No Dyson. She was dead, okay? I know for a fact she was. There is just no way."
"Bo, you know that I always trust your judgment. But maybe you could've made a mistake. It happens. Plus like I said there was nothing at the scene. I know that you and Kenzi were the last of us to see her, but unless there's something you left out. The story is holding up."
Bo doesn't want to tell Dyson that she knows because she was the one who killed Tamsin. "Look Dyson, I mean, are you sure this is even Tamsin? I mean what if it's some kind of Fae who takes peoples bodies like that body jumper guy who tried to pull a fast one on Mayer or or one that can take people's forms? Or what if she's a ghost? I mean have you tried touching her to see if your hands go through?" Bo shakes her head. "What am I saying? Am I going crazy? Because I think I am."
"No Bo, you're not. And she is very real. You just have to calm down okay. It's her for sure. And…"
Tamsin interrupts them. "You two think you can wrap it up. I didn't sign up for an episode of Beavis and Butthead!"
"Hey…I resent that," says Kenzi.
"Yeah, I'm with her," agrees Vex. "Well actually both of ya. Enough with the diddly daddling."
Bo and Dyson still talking amongst each other. "I don't understand. She's acting like…"
Tamsin interrupts again. "Did I mention that I didn't have all day?!"
At the 39th Division. Bo sits in an interrogation room. "Thanks for coming in under the circumstances," says Dyson.
Bo shakes her head. "None of this makes any sense," she says, watching Tamsin from outside of the glass door. "What's wrong with her? I mean she looked right through me like she didn't even know me."
"She doesn't seem to remember any of us Bo."
"Well she seemed to remember Vex."
"That could have been just hearsay Bo. And maybe she did go undercover. Some times when you get in too deep it changes you."
Bo continues looking at Tamsin. "I'm trying my best not to freak out. And why didn't you give me some kind of notice before you came? I was not prepared for this. I'm still not prepared."
"I had no time Bo. This…new Tamsin is like a hound, no pun intended."
"Well there is an invention called a phone that's been around for some time now," says Bo, giving him a look.
Tamsin comes in with a folder. She sits down. "So, what do we have here?"
"Bo," says Dyson, clearing his throat. "The reason that we asked you to come down is because when we were investigating the tunnels. I smelled your…fragrance."
"Oh," says Bo, with a weird and uncomfortable expression. "Well, one of Kenzi's friends Aussie was snatched. So we went down to the sewers looking for him."
While Bo and Dyson are continually talking about the incident, Tamsin is in her own world, with her own agenda. She breaks their conversation with the slamming down of the folder. Tamsin looks directly at Bo to which makes Bo feel a little uneasy. "Let me ask you something? Are you a messy eater?" she asks.
"What?" asks Bo, with a frown. "What kind of question is that?"
Tamsin opens the folder displaying pictures of Bo's mysterious feed. "Do you always leave crumbs when you eat?"
Bo is caught off guard by the pictures. "What is this?" she says, looking through them.
"Oh you don't know one of your feeds when you see it?" asks Tamsin.
"What's going on?" asks Dyson, to Tamsin.
Bo shakes her head. "I know what this looks like but I…"
Tamsin interrupts. "What, you didn't know that feeding off your own is a death sentence?"
"But I didn't…" says Bo.
Dyson interrupts. "Bo don't say another word."
Tamsin gives him a firm look. "You didn't know that he was Dark Fae while you were busy sipping him up like a 7-Eleven Slurpee?"
"What? And I don't even like the way that sounded," says Bo, looking grossed out.
"Hmm…" says Tamsin, leaning her head to the side, peering into Bo. "Now here's the million dollar question. What to do with you now? I wonder what The Morrigan will think about this?"
"You know what this is crazy. All of this is crazy!" says Bo, looking like she is at her wits end over everything. "And I don't give a fuck about what The Morrigan thinks!" she says, upset. Tamsin looks a bit shocked at Bo's comment.
"Bo calm down. Tamsin, she doesn't know anything, okay? This must be some kind of mistake," says Dyson.
Tamsin continues anyway. "So last Friday, what were you doing around eleven at night?"
"Are you serious?" says Bo.
Tamsin smirks. "Dead serious."
Bo frowns at her. "Who are you?" she says, shaking her head. Tamsin looks at her oddly.
"Look Tamsin, Bo was with me. Leaving Hecuba prison," affirms Dyson.
"Fitting. And how very convenient?" Tamsin stands up out of her seat. "While you all are here sitting around bullshitting, a Dark Fae is in a coma because of you!" she says, directly at Bo. "So you're not leaving here until I get a real ass confession. So think about that before you say some more trumped up bullshit because I can tell if you're lying or not. And right now you're full of it," says Tamsin, as a matter of fact. Bo is taken aback.
"She doesn't know anything about this Tamsin," says Dyson.
"I highly doubt that. And she can speak for herself," warns Tamsin, to Dyson.
"I don't know how many different ways I can say the same thing. I didn't have anything to do with what happen to that man," says Bo.
"If she said she doesn't then she doesn't," says Dyson.
"I'm afraid that's not how this works, partner. And what is it with you two? Lovers, homies, friends?" says Tamsin.
Bo is not only looking disgusted from that last comment, but completely lost in her thoughts. She doesn't understand how or why Tamsin is treating her like this, or why she doesn't seem to remember anything about their past. She is acting worse than the first time they met.
"Tamsin can you give me and Bo a moment?" asks Dyson.
"Sure, why the hell not," responds Tamsin. "I'm not doing anything but say interrogating the prime suspect in a case. But if you want to chat fine." She looks over to Bo. "But don't think you're going anywhere," she says, stepping out.
"Bo…" says Dyson, interrupted.
"No Dyson," says Bo, shaking her head. "I can't. This is too much. I mean of all the things that could happen. This is registering close to the top."
Dyson looks oddly at Bo. "Don't you think that you're taking this a bit personal?" he says. "I mean I know that you're ruffled from those pictures but we both know that you didn't do it."
"It's not that Dyson."
"Then what is it?"
Bo holds her head as if she has a migraine. "I don't even want to…it's nothing."
"It looks like more than nothing to me Bo."
"Well, it's not." Bo looks outside of the glass door and sees Tamsin pouring coffee all over Dyson's desk. "I see you have enough on your hands anyway."
"What do you mean?" asks Dyson. He looks in the same direction as Bo. "Dammit. Wait here." Dyson exits the room.
While Dyson and Tamsin are talking outside of the room, Kenzi helps Bo to escape the precinct.
After solving the sewer alligator case, Bo and Kenzi are at the crack shack, sitting on the sofa, talking about the bizarre events of the day. "She scared the hell out of me, well figuratively speaking, don't want the literal version," says Kenzi. "But yeah, this is so fucking weird," she says, eating a small pint of ice cream. Bo shakes her head, not really knowing what to say. The entire day was like a horrible joke for her. "But besides all the crazy shit, I know that you're happy that she's back."
Bo sighs. "I don't know Kenzi. I mean it was something I dreamed about all the time, wanting her here. And now I'm not too sure anymore. I mean it all feels like a bad dream. And things are different. She's different. I mean you saw her, she didn't even recognize me. And after everything, why would she return as my enemy?"
"That is majorly fucked up. Because she kept trying to arrest yo ass with the quickness," says Kenzi, eating another scoop. "Damn Bo, it's like all of the things yall went through didn't even happen. What if we did make it up? Maybe we're in the Twillight Zone."
"Yeah well, I wish." Bo pauses. "But what we have. I mean had, was very real," she says, quietly.
Kenzi rubs Bo on the shoulder. "It's going to be okay Bo-Bo. Ice cream?" she says, handing Bo the box.
"Sure why not?" says Bo, taking it and eating some. "With a day like this I might need Jack and Daniel."
"Thought you'd never ask." Kenzi goes over to the kitchen and returns with two glasses and a bottle. "Straight up today. And it's hot too. We'll be wasted in no time."
"I hope so," says Bo, holding a glass while Kenzi fills it up.
"So now that she's officially back however cray, what are you going to do now?" asks Kenzi, pouring herself a drink now.
Bo takes a huge swallow of her drink, frowning from the burn. "Whew. And anyway, there's nothing I can do Kenzi. She hates my guts." Bo takes another huge swallow. "Oh wow." She takes a spoonful of ice cream to coat her throat.
Kenzi takes a swallow of her drink. "Feeling the burn." She chases it with ice cream as well.
"Anyway, I guess I'll act like nothing's wrong, or out of the ordinary," says Bo, with a shrug. "I don't know. What else is there to do?"
"We could always bash her over the head to make her remember if you want."
"I don't even know if I want her to anymore," says Bo, with a deep sigh. "I mean, she's probably better off not remembering me anyway. And at least now I don't have to worry about her dying on my behalf."
"Well yeah because you do stay in some shit. Especially now with The Morrigan breathing down on your heels," says Kenzi, taking another sip.
"And anyway, now a huge load has been lifted off of me because I don't feel responsible for her death well anymore because she's kind of alive now."
Kenzi has this um-okay look on her face. "Well that's one morbid way to look at it."
"And it doesn't even matter anyway you know because I'm with Lauren now."
"Yeah o-kay," says Kenzi, giving this I'm-not-buying-it expression.
Bo isn't paying any attention to notice. "And you know it's not like I was just sitting around waiting on a dead person to come back to life. Because when does that ever happen?" she says. Kenzi gives her a look. "Okay, point taken, but I'm happy now, I really am." She pauses. "And Lauren's good. She's good for me you know. And I'm happy with her. I really am happy with her." Bo takes another huge swallow of her drink along with a huge spoonful of ice cream in her mouth.
"Okay girl dang. Just relax, take a chill pill."
"I'm tripping out aren't I?"
"Just a little, but who wouldn't be in your situation. I mean it's not every day that the love of your life returns from the dead, or wherever the hell she was, but the bitch was definitely dead last time we checked, and anyway comes back only to not even know you, but don't even like you and wants your ass in the pen. Yeah that is definite tripping material."
"Well thanks Kenzi, when you put it like that it just makes me feel all the more better."
"Look Bo, I get it okay. I was there. Alls I'm saying is that I saw what you went through when she was gone. I also saw how you were with her. Not that you don't love Lauren or anything, but Tamsin brought out something different in you. And not just the crazy."
"Well everyone is different Kenzi. But I'm in, I am, I love Lauren now. And she's who I chose to be with. And besides, people bring out different things in others."
Kenzi shrugs. "Maybe you're right. But I do know one thing. When you truly love someone, and I mean really love someone, it's not something that you can just stop doing Bo. It's always there."
"Okay Dr. Phil. And since when have you become so serious? You didn't even like Tamsin."
"It's all about the R-E-S-P-E-C-T," says Kenzi. "And damn I might be already tipsy. You see what I did there. I'm like a beast up in these streets. Oh snap, I did it again."
"Don't quit your day job Iggy. And respect? So now you respect her? Since when?"
"Hey don't hate the playa, hate the game," says Kenzi, drinking some more. "And yeah, I did. She saved your life Bo. And I'm referring to the old Tamsin. I don't know who this new bitch is. I might have to put the paws on her." Bo laughs a little. "Poor Bo-Bo. You and your shituations is never a dull moment. And now that I'm thinking about it, how come she decides to show up now that you are in a relationship with Lauren? And another thing..." says Kenzi, continuing the conversation. But Bo is only appearing to be listening, nodding her head at certain comments, all the while, her mind is elsewhere.
Meanwhile, Tamsin is sitting at a table in a local Dark bar, drinking, staring at a picture that she obtained of Bo, not knowing why. Out of nowhere, a guy interrupts her. "Looks like you can use a drink?" he says.
She puts the picture away and looks at him. "No, but I can use something else," she says, flirtatiously.
The guy nods his head in a macho manner. "I have been known to be a full service man."
"I'll be the judge of that."
