Bo rubs her face against Tamsin's, who instinctively rubs hers against Bo's. Then Bo, who has her back against the wall, does a slow reverse crawl up against it. The blinds on the windows open and shut while the table and chairs begin to lift into the air. Bo licks her lips, and gives Tamsin an inviting look to join her. Then Tamsin crawls up towards her as if the wall was a floor, pinning Bo against it. Bo licks Tamsin on the side of her face, and steam comes out of Tamsin's pores. Tamsin's hands rub up against Bo's sides to which makes her arch her head back, the heat from Tamsin's body being absorbed into her. She slides her hands underneath Tamsin's shirt, on her back to her shoulders. Then Bo's nails drag from Tamsin's shoulders down to her lower back, cutting like knives, creating a trail, stopping only to penetrate deeper into Tamsin's skin, who doesn't react to the pain. Tamsin begins staring into Bo's eyes with her red with black worlds. Their eyes seem to be taking them into another space and time where no physical action is required. Tamsin is breathing heavy while Bo's body is reacting as if she was in the throes of passion.
Suddenly a male officer opens the door. And Tamsin and Bo are still looking into each other.
"The building is being evacuated, you should…"
Bo faces his direction and he suddenly falls to the floor. Then some kind of electrical jolt forces the two off of each other, and they land back on the floor, along with the table and chairs. The blinds stop closing, the lights stop flickering, the temperature back to normal, and the computers are online. Bo and Tamsin are normal as well, and are now standing in front of each other with these what-just-happened looks. Tamsin backs away, wondering why she was close to Bo in the first place. Bo wonders the same thing until she notices an officer lying in front of the door.
Bo runs over to the officer. "What happened to him?" she says, kneeling beside him.
"He's dying," says Tamsin, with her typical uncaring expression. She frowns from a feeling on her backside.
"We have to do something?" says Bo, checking him.
"I'm sorry does it look like I'm a doctor? He's human anyway. In cases like this it's best to just let nature take its course."
"How can you be so cold?" says Bo. Tamsin shrugs. Bo rubs her head trying to contain the sudden surge of energy building inside of her, her eyes flaring.
"Forget him, what the hell is wrong with you?" says Tamsin, with a bizarre look.
"Um, nothing, I'm fine," says Bo, not sure what to say. She's puzzled by this sudden burst of energy herself, but is unaware of it being displayed in her eyes. "Not that you care anyway."
"I don't," says Tamsin, with a smirk.
Dyson shows up. He notices Bo's flaring eyes, shifting from brown to blue. "What is going on in here?!" he says, upset. Then he checks on the officer. "He's dead." Dyson looks directly at Tamsin. "What did you do to him?"
"What the fuck are you blaming me for?" says Tamsin, looking upset.
"Because it's you Tamsin," says Dyson, smartly.
"And just what the hell is that supposed to mean?" says Tamsin, crossing her arms.
"Dyson, we found him this way okay. So just everyone calm down," says Bo.
Tamsin sighs. "And he's not dead, well yet."
"I think I know a dead body when I see one," says Dyson.
"No I think I do," says Tamsin, giving Dyson a look with attitude.
"Enough with the who knows death best contest," says Bo, looking at the two of them. "We have to save him."
"Looks like dude had a heart attack. And he's unconscious dumbass," says Tamsin, to Dyson. "And we," she says, looking at Bo, with emphasis on the we. "Don't have to do a damn thing. You and Huckleberry Hound here can figure that shit out, and you don't have much time either. I'm outta here."
Tamsin is exiting and Bo notices streaks of blood on the back of her shirt. "Um wait," says Bo, to no avail since Tamsin exits anyway. Bo shakes her head. Her mind is out of focus then she finally gets a moment of insight. "No wait, I can save him."
"How you're hurt? And you don't have the strength." Dyson looks around. "Take mine Bo, hurry before someone sees him," he says. Bo places chi inside of the officer and he slowly comes to. Dyson helps him up while Bo remains in the room with a clouded head. Dyson re-enters the room and closes the door. "How did you, and in your condition do…"
Bo interrupts. "What happened anyway?"
"You are joking right?" asks Dyson. Bo shakes her head. Dyson frowns. "Well the precinct was under evacuation. The lights went out, and the back-up generators. The damn AC went berserk. All the mayhem that was going on, and you mean to tell me that you didn't realize any of it?"
"Obviously not Dyson," says Bo, she stands to her feet, weakened.
"And just what the hell were you two doing in here anyway?" he says, sounding like a jealous ex.
"I don't know Dyson. We were talking. Arguing. Fried chicken came up, biscuits, stuff like that," says Bo. Dyson looks at her like she's on something. "Man, I'm so hungry. And is it hot in here or is it just me?" she says, looking quite famished.
Dyson frowns. "Bo that doesn't make any kind of sense. And what kind of talk gives a man a heart attack?" he asks, unconvinced.
Bo is looking exhausted now. "Dyson, have you ever thought that maybe what happened to him was natural. And he's fine."
He probes Bo. "But you're not."
"Well, I might have given him a little too much of myself, but I'll be alright."
"Why does it feel like you're not telling me everything?"
Bo looks aggravated. "I told you okay. And why does it matter so much to you Dyson?"
"Because Bo, I leave the room and all hell breaks loose."
Bo laughs, but it kind of hurts her to. "Dyson c'mon, this building could use a little remodeling."
"I don't trust this new Tamsin. I think she has an agenda."
"Uh yeah, to lock me up remember? Dark Fae in a coma ring any bells? And for you not trust her, you sure are at The Dal all the time shooting pool and drinking beers with her."
"Bo, I know that sometimes I may overstep my boundaries. But when it comes to you." Dyson shakes his head. "I just care about what happens to you. And we still don't know anything about this Tamsin. I don't want you to be alone with her anymore if you don't have to be. Just until we know more," he says.
Bo raises her eyebrow. "Sounds like you're trying to control me."
"I'm not Bo trust me. But I am serious," he says, giving her a look. Bo isn't really feeling the conversation due to the content and her condition. She tries to leave, but the weakened state is getting to her. Dyson stops her. "I'm worried about you. You're not healing Bo," he says. "And you shouldn't have given your chi away like that." They walk into a separate room in the back.
"What was I supposed to do, just let him die? And I am healing just fine," says Bo.
"Bo you're supposed to take care of yourself first," says Dyson. Bo almost falls and Dyson catches her. "I can't believe you gave away your chi in this condition."
"Well I was kind of hit by a car Dyson."
Dyson doesn't believe this all was a car's doing. "When's the last time you fed?"
"I don't think that's any of your business."
"I'm serious Bo, you can die."
Bo sighs. "Before I got here," she admits, reluctantly.
"And what was it with a piece of plastic, a shard of glass?"
"Okay I get enough of this from Kenzi, I don't need to hear it from you too," says Bo, annoyed.
"Well maybe you should listen to her."
"Look, I'm with Lauren, and her only, we're together Dyson."
"You're also a Succubus Bo. You can't just feed off of her, let alone just a single human, you need to feed Bo, properly."
"And who are you to tell me what I can and cannot do. It's my choice."
"Bo, I'm your friend, and I want to help. I don't want anything to happen to you, don't you understand that?"
Bo shakes her head. "No, I won't. I'm not going to cheat on my girlfriend."
"It's not cheating Bo. It's survival. A Succubus isn't meant to be monogamous."
"Well look who's talking? Weren't you the one that was always jealous every time someone looked at me?" says Bo. Dyson doesn't respond. "Yeah I thought so."
"Bo that was a long time ago. And things are different now. Just let me help you. Do you want to go to the Emergency Room, or do you want to just get it over with, with me? The choice is yours Bo. But if you decide to go with me, nothing will change. No emotions or strings, I promise you."
"Man why couldn't this be fixed with a two-piece and a biscuit?"
Bo decides to go the convenient route and takes Dyson up on his offer, but her mind wasn't on him at all, wishing she was somewhere else, with someone else.
At The Dal. Dyson is busy discussing his recent therapy session with Trick and Bo when he gets a text from Tamsin saying that there's yet another suicide. Bo and Dyson make their way to the crime scene.
At the Crime Scene. Dyson is talking with the officers on the scene. Bo walks over to Tamsin. "Well aren't you looking a tad better than shit, I wonder why? A little pre-game snack before the main meal?" says Tamsin.
"What and eww. And why are you suddenly so interested in my meal tickets?" says Bo.
"I'm not. A girl's gotta eat though. But it's a shame for you because I do it for fun, but you have to do it to live. Pretty fucked if you ask me."
"Well I didn't ask you. And what was that back there at the cop shop? All the talk about chicken, and KFC?"
Tamsin smiles a little from how ridiculous the comment sounded. She returns quickly to her stoic self. "Not that it mattered, but you looked like you could use a meal. And it's part of the job to know all there is to know about a lead suspect. So does that answer your question?"
"I guess in a way. But was that it? I mean was that all we talked about?"
Tamsin gives her an odd look. "Was there supposed to be anything else?" she says. Bo shrugs. "Look, Dyson was being a dick. You needed a meal. Officer down," she says, nonchalantly. Bo feels like there's something missing from that story, but goes along with it because that's all she can remember as well. "Now my question is why did you even think to bring that up? A little insignificant don't you think?"
"I don't know Tamsin. Maybe I'm doing a little research of my own," answers Bo.
Tamsin smirks. "Good one." Then she releases a small sigh. "Look if you're feeling some type of way about you and Dyson getting your groove back, I can care less. And it's not my business. Like I said a girl's gotta eat."
"Dyson? How would you even know…"
Tamsin interrupts. "Like I said I don't care as long as it doesn't interfere with my job. And I didn't know, I'm just good at reading people, which you really suck at. Now can we get back to the task at hand before I vomit?" says Tamsin, looking grossed out.
Bo doesn't know what to say. Dyson catches up with them. "What do we have?" he asks.
"Some locals dragged her from the lake. Apparently our Jane Doe jumped in and forgot her life-jacket at home. Girl was no Michael Phelps," says Tamsin. Dyson uncovers the sheet that is on the body. "Whoa dude isn't that what's her face?"
"Tabitha," says Bo, now at a loss for words.
"Why the hell is she wearing a mermaid suit?" frowns Tamsin.
"Living out her dreams, which means…" says Dyson, being cut off.
"I guess I was right after all," says Bo, shaking her head.
Back at The Dal. Bo, Tamsin, and Dyson, who is acting rather bizarrely after his session with Dr. Palmer, are discussing their next move, even though all their hunches have led to dead ends so far. The only lead they have still is Dr. Palmer. Trick is going through one of his Fae-encyclopedia books and tells them that Dr. Palmer could be a Rakshasa. Everyone else is still looking lost until he explains to them that they can take different forms. Bo decides that maybe they should just go and directly interrogate Dr. Palmer, and Tamsin agrees which is a first since she's been back. However Dyson talks them out of it, telling them that he should do it. Tamsin and Bo give him a reluctant look but comply. Bo gets a call from Lauren, and a look of dread is in Bo's eyes knowing that she has to tell Lauren what happened between her and Dyson.
At Lauren's. Bo enters, trying to figure out a way to tell Lauren about her episode with Dyson, but Lauren is so busy with her recent findings on the victims that Bo becomes side-tracked. They figure out how the Fae is feeding off its victims and how the victims all share the same scar. Bo tells Lauren that Dyson has been to one of the sessions and has the same cut on his neck. She suddenly gets a phone call.
"Um hello," says Bo, with a strange look.
"It's me, Tamsin."
"Yeah well I know your voice. Wait, how did you get my phone number?"
"Dude I'm a cop. Anyway I was wondering if you heard back from Dyson. I'm at the cop shop and he hasn't come back yet. Not answering my calls or shit."
Bo's eyes widen. "That means he's still at the clinic."
"Yeah probably about to do some dumb shit."
"Meet me there."
"I'm on my way."
Bo and Tamsin arrive at the clinic and immediately interrogate Dr. Palmer. Tamsin has a dagger to his throat. Bo puts her charm on him and he spills his guts about pretty much being a fraud, and clearly not knowing anything about the Fae. With Dr. Palmer no longer a suspect, the pair asks him about Dyson. He tells them that Dyson said that he wanted to fly. Tamsin hurries to the roof. Bo is on her way up there when Dr. Palmer comments about Dr. Bob, the cat, escaping all the time to which allows Bo to discover that the Rakshasa is the cat.
Now it's Tamsin trying to talk Dyson out of trying to fly as he stands on the edge of the roof. "Hey there buddy o'l pal, whatcha doing up there? Kind of breezy don't you think?" she says.
"Partner, I'm glad you're here. I just feel so free. Everything else is meaningless."
"Yeah, which I'm sure this is. But hey um look, we can go hit the bars, have a few drinks, hell buy the bar out if you want, but you kind of have to get off that ledge dude. So what do you say?"
"Tamsin this is my time. I'm a wolf but I always wanted to be a Grifon." He starts taking off his shirt and shoes.
"Yeah well we all are who we are you know dude. People in hell want ice water, but they can't get that now can they?" Tamsin shakes her head. "I don't get paid enough for this kind of shit. Really what the hell am I doing here?" she says, to herself.
"No, I come from a long line of shape-shifters. But I was to be a Grifon. Yes, I am one. I will be what I was meant to be. And you will witness my triumph."
"Um look Dyson dude, c'mon okay. You know I suck at this kind of shit. Look, how about be happy…oh uh yeah, be happy being the wolf…inside you…ah hell, you know be one with the wolf and shit like that. Okay? Plus I really don't want to witness you turning yourself into canine chunks with gravy," she says. Dyson takes off his belt. "Whoa now, normally people buy me a drink before the britches come off. But I'm drawing the line at the Wang Chung. So keep your pants on dude," she says. Bo comes out. "Fuck! What took you so long?" says Tamsin, in a bit of relief. "I am not cut out for dealing with dumbasses who don't want to be saved. Your friend, your problem. Where is the Rakshasa anyway?"
"Dr. Bob. I couldn't find him," says Bo.
Tamsin gives her a crazy look. "Who in the hell is Dr. Bob?"
"The cat. That's the Rakshasa."
"Okay well how hard is it to find a hairball? You stop Bucket List over there and I'll go get the damn cat."
Bo is busy talking Dyson out of trying to fly, telling him how great and loved he is as he is, the wolf and the man. He comes down off the ledge and Bo gives him some of her chi, getting rid of the hold that the Rakshasa had on him.
Meanwhile Tamsin finds Dr. Bob. "Too bad for the nine lives," she says. Then the Rakshasa comes out fully morphed into its true self and all gargantuan. "Well, not exactly what I had in mind for a cat, nope not at all. Hell I know they said lead will kill it, but judging from the size of things the question is do I have enough," she says, to herself. Both Dyson and Bo yell for Tamsin to watch out. Tamsin opens her jacket revealing a double-sided bandolier type vest across her chest that carries different types of sharp weapons. She is twirling a jagged edged weapon made of lead around her finger when her eyes light up as if she has just received an epiphany. "On second thought," she says, putting it away. She then pulls out her pistol, shooting the Rakshasa in the head, it goes down, dissolving into nothing. Tamsin shrugs her shoulders and goes over to where Bo and Dyson are. "See that your Grifon envy is gone. I don't know about you guys but I can definitely go for a drink or three."
At The Dal. Bo and Dyson are at a table talking and drinking beer. "So how are you really doing Dyson?"
"I don't know, it's weird, but I feel great, like I found something that I lost. I found my wolf Bo. I have been ignoring myself for awhile now and didn't even realize it. So I'm going to be all me, all wolf."
"All wolf huh?" says Bo, with a grin. "Turning on a full moon, howling every night, that kind of thing?"
Dyson smiles back. "Exactly." He swallows some beer. "And what about you? How are you doing?"
Bo shrugs. "I can't complain. All healed."
Dyson gives her a more serious expression and tone. "Bo, you know that you can't just feed off of her alone or you won't survive."
"Look Dyson, I know that you're trying to help, but it's something that I will discuss with Lauren on my own time." Bo sighs. "But as for us, I know I needed healing, and I thank you for that, but we can't do that again. And I know that there were no strings attached, and your love is gone and all that, but I do love Lauren, and I don't want to hurt her any more than I already have. I'm sorry to come down on you like this, I just don't want there to be any misunderstandings."
"I understand Bo. Do what you have to do, but I'll always be here for you."
"Hopefully as a friend," clarifies Bo, with a look.
Dyson gives her a reassuring smile. "Always."
At Lauren's house. Bo is sitting at the kitchen counter while Lauren is pouring them a glass of wine. She hands Bo a glass and sits. "So how's Dyson doing? Next time you see him, let him know that I want him to stop by for a check up on that Rakshasa wound."
"Dyson is doing fine. I mean he's healed."
"Healed? Bo the only ways to be completely healed from a Rakshasa's wound are…" says Lauren, cutting off herself. Sadness begins to consume her eyes.
Bo is feeling ever so ashamed. "Lauren, this is really hard for me to say, but I am truly sorry. I was hit by a car, and there was this officer, and I gave him most of my chi because he was dying. And Dyson, he was the only option I had at the moment, and it was only to heal I promise, and I probably should have called you know, but there were no strings attached believe me I love you," says Bo, earnestly. Lauren is quiet, the hurt in her eyes revealing the words that are not being produced out of her mouth. "Lauren please, I wish you would say something, anything. This dead silence has me on edge." Bo pauses. "And I want you to know that I take full responsibility for everything. I promise I won't do it again. I feel awful and…" Suddenly Lauren kisses her on the lips. "Okay, that was unexpected. Now I'm really worried. Was that like the Long Kiss Goodnight or something?"
Lauren looks as if she wants to cry but doesn't. "Bo I love you, do you know that?"
"Yes of course," says Bo, nodding. "And I love you too Lauren."
Lauren sighs. "Listen Bo, I know that I, that I am not, well," she says, with an even deeper sigh. "That I'm not going to be sufficient enough for, for you." Lauren shakes her head. "I knew this when I came into this relationship and…"
Bo interrupts. "Lauren please, don't talk like that. You are all I need."
Lauren shakes her head. "Bo let's not kid ourselves here. You are a Succubus, and I'm just a human."
"You are more than that to me," says Bo, comforting.
"Please Bo, just try to understand me. I am only one human, and I don't know why the treatments are no longer working, and you have to feed. And that means off more than me Bo."
"But I want this to work between us, and only us."
"Bo," says Lauren. "It hurts as it is. Now as a woman I wish the same things Bo. But I'm a doctor, and it's not about what I wish, it's about reality and you surviving. I knew what I was getting into Bo."
Bo looks glum. "If that's what you want."
"It's not about what I want Bo, it's about what you need. And I love you so much that I have to be okay with it."
"Well, I um, really don't know what to say. I mean I have to admit, this is one of those very awkward moments."
"It doesn't have to be, it's just fact."
"So you want me to see other people?" says Bo, sipping some wine. "Again awkward."
Lauren gives her a look. "For healing Bo, I'm still your girlfriend."
"Of course," says Bo, nodding. "That's what I meant to say."
"But I do have some stipulations."
"Okay, anything babe. I want to make things work between us."
"I don't want you to sleep with Dyson anymore."
"Okay, I can do that. No more Dyson. I swear. Is that it?"
"For now," says Lauren, taking a sip of wine. "And you're in the dog house, no pun intended."
"And here we were just talking about me and my survival, and you're already putting me out with the green pastures."
Lauren smiles. "You're cute Bo, but it's not going to get you off the hook that easily."
At the same time, Kenzi is walking from The Dal, looking suspicious of her surroundings as if someone were after her. Her hands trembling all the while, she dials a phone number, Bo's. It goes to voicemail, and she looks even more terrified in having to leave Bo a message. She scratches at her arm, and then lifts up the bandage that she has covering it, revealing a very gross, gel-like huge wound. Kenzi starts walking again, and suddenly trips on something, falling to the ground. Out of nowhere, something snatches her away.
After a night of partying with Dyson, Tamsin makes her way to the old manor house with her truck bed filled with planks of wood, packs of wolves surrounding her. "Well whadaya say, shall we continue," she says, to them as she starts unloading the truck.
