Later that night, Tamsin walks from her home, entering Bo's with the extra key hidden underneath the outside mat to the front door. She makes her way through the home, leading to Bo and Dyson's bedroom. Bo is coming out of the bathroom still in gown. "How long have you been here?"
"I just got here," Tamsin replies. "Your message sounded urgent."
"It is. Thanks for the cookies."
"But that's not what you wanted," says Tamsin. Bo leans against the wall, and is quiet. Tamsin walks over to her and looks into her eyes. "You don't have to say anything," whispers Tamsin, in her ear. She goes back to looking into Bo's eyes, and places her arms around Bo. Tamsin softly kisses Bo on the lips. Bo looks up, not wanting to stare into her eyes any longer. Then she closes them as Tamsin kisses her neck while caressing her body. And it's like Bo forgets all about her worries. Then Bo returns the kisses, rubbing her hands through Tamsin's hair. Their lips now pressed together, the tender kisses grow longer and with more passion with the passing of each second.
Bo slowly unbuttons Tamsin's shirt as Tamsin watches her. Then she unhooks her bra. Tamsin tries to cover herself with her arms. "Don't," says Bo as she removes them. "You're so beautiful," she says.
"Why? Because we're not in the dark anymore," says Tamsin, vulnerable.
"Because every part of you that you think is a flaw, is flawless to me," says Bo, looking at Tamsin's grayish black skin that covers her chest and back. Tamsin looks away. Bo turns her head towards her.
"Bo, you don't have to…" says Tamsin, being cut off.
"No, you don't ever have to feel ashamed about anything." Bo gently rubs the side of Tamsin's face. "Tamsin, you shine whether you are in the dark or the light," says Bo. Tamsin's eyes grow softer. Bo begins to kiss down on Tamsin's chest, who lets a delicate sound escape from her lips. "I've missed you so much," says Bo. Tamsin moves her hands underneath Bo's gown as if she were going to take it off of her, but only to softly rub Bo's sides, Tamsin's hands moving upward as she kisses Bo in different areas. Bo looks at her. "Sometimes I wonder…if you feel…the way you make me feel," says Bo, her body responding from the feeling. "I want you to feel…how you make me feel."
Tamsin moves back up and kisses Bo on the lips. "I do." She goes back to Bo's neck.
"How so?" says Bo, her breathing getting heavy.
Tamsin looks at her. "Whenever I look at you. And when our skin rubs against each other. The sounds you make. Each kiss. And the way you react when I touch you…and when you touch me," she says, earnestly. Bo is super turned on so much so that her eyes glow blue for a half a second. Tamsin thinks that she saw Bo's eyes change, but it was so quick that she believes it to be her imagination, yet she can see the gentleness in them. Tamsin and Bo kiss again as their hands travel in all the right places. "When are you going to tell him about us?" asks Tamsin, continuing.
"I told you that…I would," says Bo. "I, I just need more time."
"I'm tired of waiting."
"I know you are…," says Bo, with a moan.
"You seem to be the only one that understands me. Every time I do something good, all everyone else sees is bad," says Tamsin. The only sounds that are coming from Bo are sexual. "I just want to get away from it all. And start back over."
"Tamsin…I have to talk to…I have to tell you something." Tamsin continues and her hand wanders in between Bo's legs. Suddenly Bo stops all action as she remembers her pregnancy. Tamsin stops as well. "I'm sorry. I can't."
"O-kay. Did I do something wrong? Is it your monthly," asks Tamsin. Then she notices that Bo's whole demeanor has changed.
"No, far from that at this point," says Bo, with regret in her eyes.
"Then what's going on Bo?" asks Tamsin, concerned. She places her bra back on.
"It's nothing. It's just that things have gotten a bit more complicated than I expected."
"Like what Bo?" asks Tamsin as she places her shirt back on, buttoning it up.
Bo looks at Tamsin's hands. "Why are your hands dirty?" she asks, not trying to change the subject but really wanting to know.
"I don't know," says Tamsin, looking oddly at them. "They were just clean. It's like every time I wash them, they end up dirty again," she says, with a frown.
"Well you know where the bathroom is," says Bo. Tamsin goes to it while Bo sits on the bed, wondering how to explain things to Tamsin. She bends over holding her stomach. "Oh oww."
Tamsin washes her hands and when she returns, her attitude has changed as well. "I'm going to go."
Bo stands up. "Why all of a sudden? I mean don't you want to at least talk."
"Suddenly I don't feel much for talking or anything else." Tamsin starts walking away.
"So you know. I was going to tell you."
"Wow really?" says Tasmsin, with a smirk, not the usual, but one of disappointment. "Like the same way that you were supposed to tell a certain someone that you were leaving him all this time."
"I'm sorry okay. I just found out today myself," says Bo. Tamsin is silent, thinking deeply. Bo walks over towards her.
"No, stay away from me," says Tamsin.
"Please Tamsin, don't be like that…you know, people usually congratulate people on having a baby," says Bo, trying to lighten the situation.
Tamsin is now upset. "My apologies for not feeling very courteous."
"I'm sorry. I don't know what to say really. This sprung up on me too."
Tamsin heaves a huge sigh. "I wish I never even gotten myself involved with you in the first place."
Bo looks hurt. "That's pretty harsh."
"Do you know how I feel? I waited for you this whole time. Now I feel like a fool."
"Tamsin my feelings for you are real," says Bo, sincerely.
Tamsin is pissed. "You don't know anything," she says, pointing her finger at Bo. "You don't know everything I put myself through. You don't know all of the sacrifices I've made."
Bo frowns. "You're not the only one who's made sacrifices. I have to lie to people I care about every day. I feel guilt, and even shame."
"Oh so now it's all my fault?" says Tamsin, nodding. "I make you feel guilty and ashamed when it was you who started this whole thing."
"I'm not saying that. And no one forced you to do anything you didn't want to do," says Bo, with a bit of attitude.
Tamsin raises an eyebrow. "You sure didn't make things easy not to either."
Bo shakes her head. "Okay this isn't getting us anywhere. The fact of the matter is I'm pregnant, and still married."
"All the more reason for me to leave now," says Tamsin as she turns around to walk away.
"Don't leave me Tamsin, I need you," pleads Bo.
Tamsin turns back around. "You don't need me. You have it all remember. Husband, child on the way."
"But it's not with the person I want to be with Tamsin," says Bo, with an understanding tone.
"It's a little too late for that now. And it's about time to end things anyway. I don't want to be your secret anymore. All you do is mess with my head anyway."
Bo looks taken aback. "How can you say that? Didn't anything matter to you?" she asks. Tamsin is quiet. "I know I put myself in this situation. But I don't want you to be out of my life."
Tamsin folds her arms. "We all can't have everything we want. Maybe if you would have waited for me like I waited for you then we wouldn't be in this situation. I'm doing us both a favor by ending this now."
"No, I'll tell him. I swear, I'll tell him tonight. Okay?" says Bo, desperately trying to keep what she has with Tamsin. "I, I don't care anymore. I'm tired of living like this. I'm tired of all the medicine. And I am so tired of living a lie. I just want to be happy."
"Then stay with him. Happiness doesn't come to people like me. It never has and it never will. It's not in the cards Bo."
"I don't believe that," says Bo, shaking her head. "No, I won't accept that."
"Why?" says Tamsin, with a shrug. "I don't understand, why do you care so much?"
"Because Tamsin, I lo…" says Bo, being cut off.
Dyson enters the bedroom without really paying attention. "I'm home. Everything went fine, had to perform a couple of surgeries, no biggies," he says. Then he sees Tamsin. "What are you doing here? Let alone in my bedroom, and at this time of night?"
"Leaving," she responds.
"No don't," says Bo. Then she starts feeling pain in her stomach. "Oh this hurts so bad," she says, folding over.
Dyson rushes over to Bo. "Is it the baby?" he says, holding her stomach. "Bo whenever there is a problem, especially in your condition, you are what matters the most. I'm a doctor, but you come first." Even Tamsin moves closer to her out of concern. He looks at Tamsin. "Get away from her. Those cookies of yours is probably part of the problem." Tamsin shakes her head and backs away.
"Stop it Dyson," says Bo, seemingly exhausted and in a bit of pain. "I have to tell you something," she says, barely holding herself up. Then a loud monstrous noise is sounding beyond the bedroom door. "What the hell was that?" asks Bo.
But Dyson is still focused on Tamsin's presence that the noise goes unheard for him. "I asked what are you doing in my home?"
"Like I said before, I was just leaving," says Tamsin, trying to be as polite as she can.
"That still doesn't answer the question," says Dyson. "Why are you here?"
"Dyson, can you please stop," says Bo. "I called her over okay."
He ignores Bo. "No. You're talking to my wife, feeding her mind with nonsense. Bringing cookies over all the time. Apparently visits when I'm not around," he says, with disdain.
"Are you just talking or are you trying to insinuate something?" asks Tamsin.
"I don't have to insinuate anything, the tone in my voice speaks for itself," says Dyson, firmly.
"No seriously, does anyone else hears that?" asks Bo, a bit afraid that she is tripping on the side effects.
Tamsin and Dyson continue. "You talk about her as if you own her. Like she can't have a life outside of you. She's grown and she doesn't need another father. Maybe if you didn't work all the time, and didn't treat her like one of your patients, I wouldn't be here now," says Tamsin, smartly.
"Oh I'm sorry I'm a doctor. That's what doctor's do. What is it that you do again? Exactly. So before you come into my home to tell me about my life, what you need to do is worry about your own and stop butting into ours," says Dyson as a matter of fact.
"Dyson stop, you're going too far," says Bo.
Tamsin is holding her head as if she is trying to calm herself. "You don't have to worry about me returning to your perfect life."
"Good. I never trusted you anyway. Get out of our home. I can take care of my own wife thank you."
"Dyson don't talk to her like that," says Bo, with a frown.
"Why are you defending her when I am your husband?" inquires Dyson. "I can say whatever it is I want in my home. And like I said before I don't want you around my wife anymore. She doesn't need anyone who knows nothing influencing her."
Bo looks at him as if he has lost his mind. "Dyson, I can decide for myself who can come in and out of my life. I'm not your property," says Bo. "You're being very rude and condescending. And it's revolting."
"Bo, I'm only trying to protect you," says Dyson.
"I don't need your protection. I can take care of myself," says Bo, still feeling disgusted by him.
Dyson looks over to Tamsin. "You're still here. My wife and I are talking. You can either leave or I'll call the cops and have them escort you out, along with a restraining order."
"Dyson dammit, I am a cop. And that will not be happening. She's over here because I wanted her to be," says Bo. "And I'm tired of you trying to control my life. That's why I…" Bo is cut off.
"Let me guess more advice from this one over here. No family, no friends, no children, no pet, I'm sure no degrees in anything, no significance," says Dyson. Bo looks at him like she doesn't even know him anymore while Tamsin is silently absorbing all of the callousness from Dyson. "Why don't you just move, no one likes you in the whole neighborhood. The only reason you're here is because my wife probably took pity on your miserable existence," says Dyson.
"I can't believe you just said that," says Bo, shocked and appalled. She walks over to Tamsin, but it's seemingly too late. Tamsin's body has become filled with anger.
"What are you going over to her for? It's not like what I said wasn't true," says Dyson, upset and confused.
"Dyson, this isn't working out okay. I can't live like this anymore," says Bo, shaking her head.
"What are you saying?" asks Dyson, frowning.
"I'm saying that I can't do this with you anymore," says Bo.
Dyson looks surprised. "You don't mean that. Have you taken your meds," he says.
"This is exactly what I'm talking about. You don't listen. I'm not your patient and I'm tired of being treated like one. And just because you have degrees doesn't make you any better than anyone else," says Bo.
Tamsin has her head down. Sounds of torment and the laughter of demons commence. When she lifts her head up, it is ghastly with hollow eyes, all darkness. Bo and Dyson are startled by the sight, both jumping back.
"What the hell are you!" says Dyson, looking terrified. Tamsin crosses her arms over her chest creating an X. Then chains begin shooting from her, pinning Dyson against the wall. As Dyson struggles to get out of the chains, he starts shifting into his wolfman form.
"Oh my God, both of you get away from me!" says Bo, moving away from them.
"Wait wait, Bo calm down. I'm not a doctor," he says, coming back to reality. "Bo none of this is real. We're still inside of The Temple." He looks over to Tamsin. "Tamsin, let me go!" he yells.
"No, I don't want any of you near me. Stay away from me," says Bo, still moving further away.
Tamsin returns to normal, and Dyson is released. "What the fuck am I doing here?" she says.
"You stay back too. You're nothing but a monster," says Bo, still reeling in fear. She finds a pair of scissors, ready to use them as a weapon.
"Glad you feel that way," says Tamsin, shaking off the comment.
"He said that it was an illusion. That no one would be harmed. You promised!" yells Dyson, to nobody in particular. The noise behind the door gets louder and it sounds like something is trying to break it down.
"Should have known that this shit had to do with you. So you fucked up Bo's mind trying to create your own dream world. And I'm supposed to be the one who sabotages things," says Tamsin, shaking her head.
"It must be the meds," says Bo, confused. Then she gets a thought. "Maybe I took too many or not enough. I know I said it does funny shit to me, but this takes the cake," says Bo. She goes over to the drawer and grabs the pill bottle. Dyson smacks the bottle out of her hand.
"Dude, this shit, it's the fucking Temple playing tricks on you Bo. Snap the fuck out of it," says Tamsin, folding her arms. Bo holds her stomach in pain.
"Bo, that's not a baby inside of you. You're devolving. And that noise in the background, that's you devolving," says Dyson.
"No, I don't believe you. Maybe this is just a dream. A very horrible dream," says Bo, shaking her head.
Tamsin walks over to Bo and smacks her in the face. Dyson growls at her to which she ignores.
"Oww," says Bo, holding her face. "What the hell?"
"What? Slaps usually work," says Tamsin, shrugging. "Look, my bad that didn't work. But you gotta wake up. If you don't come to your senses like about now, you are going to return all kinds of fucked up dude, you get the picture?"
"What are you guys saying? I am dreaming aren't I? Because all this doesn't make any sense," says Bo.
"Bo look at me," he says, grabbing her shoulders. "This isn't real. None of it. I'm a wolf and you're a Succubus." Bo seems like she is starting to realize that something is wrong, but she is still in denial.
"Nice try. But this is not Once Upon a Time," Tamsin says, to Dyson with a bit of annoyance. She looks over to Bo. "Sorry for the smack, you were seeing things that weren't there. I was trying to help," says Tamsin, trying to appear genuine.
"I knew what I saw wasn't real, and what I'm still hearing," says Bo, with a frown. "It can't, it couldn't be, but did you really have to slap me?" she says, with a raised eyebrow.
"Well I'm not a doctor. I didn't know what else to do, but he is. And it's his fault for giving you medicine in the first place," says Tamsin.
"Tamsin, what are you doing?" says Dyson, with a frown too. Tamsin gives him a look then looks back at Bo.
"Yeah, I told you that they weren't working for me, that they were doing weird stuff to me, but you still insisted. Why did you knock them out of my hands Dyson?" asks Bo.
Before Dyson can say anything, Tamsin does. "Because he knew that he had made a mistake. Just finally grew a pair of balls to admit to it," she says.
"Is that what we're doing Tamsin?" says Dyson.
"You bet your ass," she responds.
He turns to Bo. "Bo don't listen to her okay, none of this is real. And I am not a doctor."
"Then what are you? You're the one around here parading in scrubs. Prescribing shit to people that don't need it," says Tamsin. "And now suddenly you're not a doctor. I think somebody else needs to start taking meds."
Bo moves away from Dyson. "Bo listen to me, she's lying," he says.
"Right about now you're the one who isn't making any kind of sense," says Bo. Dyson looks over to Tamsin and she slants her head and smirks.
"I don't know what you have planned. But I knew you couldn't be trusted. And that's exactly why I'm here. I'm not going to let you mess things up for Bo," says Dyson.
"Wait, what are you guys talking about?" says Bo, lost.
"Then what are you going to do about it then?" says Tamsin, mockingly to Dyson.
"What I should have done a long time ago," says Dyson, angrily.
"Hey, what is going on? I hope you're not talking about fighting. She's a woman Dyson," says Bo.
Tamsin cracks her knuckles. "Give it your best shot," she says, to Dyson.
"No, she's a bitch," says Dyson. He rushes over to Tamsin and tries to attack her, missing as she dodges his claws.
"Wait, I just wanted to break up. This is not what I had in mind you guys," says Bo, confused and thinking she's losing her scruples.
As Dyson tugs with Tamsin, she tells him not to use any powers against her.
"What?" says Dyson, looking at her oddly, but still angry.
"Bo is a fucking Succubus," whispers Tamsin. "And if she's anything like I think she is then."
"Then what?" asks Dyson.
"Are you a dumbass acting like a dumbass inside of a dumbass? Figure it out. You know her better than me right? So unless you got any better ideas, I suggest you keep fighting, and make it look natural," says Tamsin.
"Why act natural when none of this is real right?" says Dyson, with another idea in mind. He claws a distracted Tamsin.
She looks down at her shirt. "Dude, that was so not part of the plan."
"We both knew how this was going to end anyway. But for you sooner than later," says Dyson as his claws thrust into Tamsin's abdomen, who frowns from the pain.
"You idiot! This was not supposed to be real. Bo just had to believe it, so that she would save the person that she loves, which is you dick head," says Tamsin, spitting blood.
"What?" says Dyson, now realizing Tamsin's plan.
"That was low, even for you." Tamsin falls to the ground.
"No!" yells Bo as she runs over to Tamsin. "I can't believe you just did that?" She checks to see if Tamsin is breathing, which she is not. "She's not breathing. Don't just stand there, do something! You're a doctor for crying out loud."
"Bo, I'm not a doctor. This isn't real," says Dyson, exhausted from repeating the same thing.
"You keep saying that? Maybe it's the meds, but I don't care, do something!" says Bo, holding Tamsin, placing the scissors on the floor.
"I can't Bo."
"You can't! This isn't real, that isn't real. This isn't supposed to happen. It wasn't supposed to end this way. It wasn't supposed to happen this way," says Bo, losing it.
"What wasn't?" says Dyson, perplexed. Bo's eyes begin to glow blue. "Bo, what are you doing?"
"You killed her," says Bo.
"Bo look you got it all…" Dyson is cut off as Bo drains his chi.
Then Bo snaps out of it, eyes normal. "Oh my God Dyson, are you okay?" she asks, running over to him.
Dyson coughs a little and nods his head. "Are you back to normal?" he asks.
"Yes of course. Temple, Dawning, must find key," answers Bo. She sees Tamsin on the floor. Bo rushes over to her, knees to the floor. "Did I do this to her? Please tell me that I didn't do this Dyson," she pleads.
"No I did." He pauses. "Now it's time for you to get out of here. Find the key," he says.
"No I can't." Then Bo looks as if she realized something. "Wait did you just say that you did this to her?" says Bo. She is trying to get Tamsin to come to, but it isn't working.
"We got into an altercation. And this was the result of it," says Dyson. Bo finds that very hard to believe. "Bo, The Caretaker said that the rules had changed, and one of us has to stay behind."
"So are you trying to tell me that you did this in order to save your own ass?"
"Well not exactly. Bo…"
Bo interrupts. "Do you really think that I would sacrifice Tamsin's life in order to leave this Temple?"
"Bo, she knew what it meant to be a Hand. It means sacrificing your life, condemning it to this Temple forever."
"So this was a suicide mission after all for both of you?" says Bo. Dyson nods his head. Out of nowhere Bo smacks him. "You're such an asshole."
Dyson takes in the slap, thinking that he probably deserved as much. "Bo we don't have a lot of time."
"I am not leaving Tamsin here," she says, growing teary eyed.
"Bo I don't see your point. Not to sound heartless, but she's gone anyway. Now you don't have to worry about both The Morrigan and her looking over your shoulder anymore."
"No you sound just like you wanted, heartless."
"Bo you can't save her."
"Don't tell me what I can and cannot do. And I refuse to choose between the two of you. I would just as well stay in this Temple then be around bigots like you."
"Bo, where is all this coming from? It's just Tamsin."
Then a portal opens. "Bo it's the portal, we can return home now," says Dyson.
"Does that mean that Tamsin is really dead?" Bo begins checking her vitals, but she's getting nothing. "Oh please don't tell me that she's dead again. Oh God please!" She lies her head on Tamsin, tears falling from her eyes.
"It wasn't your fault Bo. But you have to get out of here."
Bo shakes her head. "No it's yours. There's the portal, you jump in it. You broke the rules. And you did this to her. If one person stays and one person escapes then the balance should be made right, two people stay and one of us go."
"Bo, I'm not leaving you here."
"Then you should have thought about that before you jumped in."
"And what difference would it have made, she still would be here."
"It makes all the difference to me," says Bo, crying.
The Caretaker enters the room. "This has been most interesting to watch indeed. The Maiden, and the Succubus."
"What are you talking about?" asks Dyson.
"Sad. Reminds me of why I am here in the first place. But rules are rules, and you still haven't found the key," says The Caretaker.
"What? The portal is right there," says Dyson, pointing at it.
"That is a portal. Just like that was a key. And to make things fair and balanced again, you are still here as Hand. Remember the key will present itself in its form," says The Caretaker.
Dyson looks like he has just received a revelation. "Bo, you get it. The key, it's me. You have to kill me."
"What are you trying to do, make this the worse day of my life?" says Bo.
"Look Bo, the key will present itself. Tamsin and I came as Hand, but I am the one left standing. The key is me Bo."
"I am not going to kill you Dyson. Even though I really want to," says Bo, to which makes Dyson frown. "And I'm not leaving her."
"Have you gone crazy? You'd risk your life for her?"
"Did she not just do the same thing for me?"
"We don't have time for this nonsense. Okay, you're right. None of this is real. But I'm still the key, so she isn't dead and I won't die in real life." Dyson grabs the pair of scissors and hands it to Bo.
"No! And what kind of sick and twisted place is this, having to kill people you care about?" says Bo.
"Bo this is what The Temple does? It challenges you physically and emotionally. It plays on your mind. Do you think that's a baby inside of you?" he asks. Bo looks down at her stomach. "Then you wouldn't mind if I killed it," he says. He goes in for the attack and she instinctively stabs him, but he pushes the scissors in further.
"Oh no. Dyson, why would you do that?"
He smiles at her. "This is what I came for. It was what I was meant to do."
"But you said it wasn't real."
"Sometimes you have to tell a small lie to protect the ones you love," he says. Then he dies. Another portal opens. Now Bo is left alone, weeping.
"Well my dear, you may leave The Temple. There are two portals, you may only choose one to go through."
"And leave my friends behind, not a chance."
"You mean your love," says The Caretaker. Bo gives him an odd look. "And what a combination it would have been if you both truly accepted each other. Like light and dark. Peace or destruction."
"What are you talking about?" says Bo, with emphasis on the what.
"Oh nothing. You'll have to excuse my rambling."
"Well I'm not leaving them. And I don't trust those portals, they can take me anywhere," says Bo.
"I am merely a guide. And your instincts are truly impressive because you have not yet found the key."
"Are you fucking kidding me?!" says Bo, upset. "Dyson died for nothing?!"
"Well you of all of people should know by now his alpha male personality always makes him think he is the one. Remember The Garuda?" he says. Bo wonders about how he knows about that.
"Then if it's not him, where is it?"
"That is for you to find my dear."
Bo can feel herself being consumed by anger. "I think you should leave now," she says, to The Caregiver. She feels a hand on her, it's Tamsin's. Bo looks down. "Oh my God, I thought you were dead."
"I thought I was too. But Bo, the key, it's me." She lifts her other hand up and it's holding a bloody set of keys. Bo then remembers a nightmare she had where she was holding a set of bloody keys as a figure was being tormented. "I'm a monster remember. No one will miss me. Go on, kill me."
Bo shakes her head. "No, I refuse to go through this again. There has to be another way. There's always another way."
"I'm a Valkyrie remember? I'll return."
"No, I can't do this again," Bo says, shedding more tears.
Tamsin looks at her, puzzled by her display of emotions. "Dude," she coughs. "You are really channeling your inner…Usagi with the waterfalls," she says.
"What?" says Bo, confused.
"Sailor Moon? Ah forget it." Tamsin's coughs are getting worse, and blood is starting to come out of her mouth. The look on Bo's face is heartbreaking. "Bo…don't…cry over me," says Tamsin. She nods her head. "It's okay." Bo is about to say something, but Tamsin stops her. "Bo don't," she says, which makes Bo give her a strange look. "Let's just get this shit over with," says Tamsin.
The scissors in Bo's hand is trembling. "I can't Tamsin. You don't understand."
"This shit is…really starting to hurt," says Tamsin. "I didn't come…all this way for… nothing. Just do it."
"No!" yells Bo. "I'm sorry Tamsin," she says, dropping the scissors. "I'm sorry. I just can't." Then she holds Tamsin in her arms.
"It's okay Bo…I wish I had the strength…to do it myself…especially to avoid all the mush…but shit is funny like that," says Tamsin. Bo is too sad to say anything. She places her hand against Tamsin's face and it becomes rose. "What are…you doing to me?" asks Tamsin, feeling the effects.
"What I should have done last time," says Bo, softly.
Tamsin looks confused then relaxes. "Bo?"
"Yes Tamsin," she answers.
"That was very noble of you," says Tamsin, looking peaceful. Bo smiles at her, not a happy one, but a comforting smile. Then Tamsin closes her eyes.
"Tamsin? Tamsin?!" Bo shakes her, but she doesn't respond.
"She left just enough energy to present herself as the key," says The Caretaker. "I've never seen such a sight, tragic yet beautiful ending."
Bo is trying to hold it together, repeating in her mind to be strong. "Think Bo, think," she says, to herself. Then suddenly Bo gets an idea. "There's always another way," she says, with confidence. She uses Tamsin's blood to create the Pi in the circle symbol. Then another portal opens.
"That's cheating," says The Caretaker.
"See that's thing you all don't seem to understand, I make my own rules."
"But you don't know where it will lead to," he says. "Or the consequences."
"It's called believing in yourself. And taking a leap out on faith," says Bo. She looks over to Tamsin. "And love. Goodbye Caretaker," she says, to him as she grabs both Dyson and Tamsin by the arm.
