Bo and Aife somehow end up in Dr. Taft's office, where he is prancing around. A guard tries to grab Aife and Bo, but he tells him not to since he wants Bo to be his first test run, seeing that now he has become a hybrid. Then Taft grosses both her and Aife out when he talks about Bo and him breeding together. Suddenly he rushes over, faster than any human, to a bookshelf to grab a knife.
Bo is looking like WTF. "What in the hell did Lauren do?"
"I'm one of you now," he says, excitedly. Bo is thinking like I knew that Lauren was smart, but I didn't think she could turn humans Fae. "Well I'd like to stay here and chat, but I really must be going, and you are standing in my way."
"You're not going anywhere," says Bo.
Then he jumps up in utter jubilee from the excitement of the challenge. "You asked for it," he says as he rushes towards her with the knife, but Aife quickly moves in front of Bo, being stabbed instead. Bo catches Aife before she falls. Out of nowhere Dyson shows up and snaps the guard's neck angrily. Then Dr. Taft runs off.
Dyson is shocked to see Bo there. Bo is beyond pissed as she cradles her mother. "I don't know what he is, but he should have been dead yesterday," she says. Dyson goes into his wolf-man form and chases after Dr. Taft.
Now Bo and Aife are having a mother-daughter moment, the knife that was embedded into Aife is laying on the floor. Bo has her hand over her mom's wound. "Are you still there? Mom?" asks Bo.
"I am Isabeau. Isabeau, that was your grandmother's name too," says Aife.
Bo sighs. "Yeah, Trick told me." As they are talking, Tamsin returns with Suneetha beside her. Then it sounds like her mom asks her to look after Trick, but I guess not because Bo seems to be confused on who is this him her mother was referring to. Aife's eyes are rolling in the back of her head literally before she fades away.
Tamsin kneels beside Bo and tells her that they have to leave, but Bo refuses to leave her mother again, crying. Even though Tamsin dislikes it when people cry, she tries to be understanding for Bo. "I get it Bo. But you have to look at this in another way, and it had nothing to do with you. It was this place that made her lose herself, but she still saved you Bo. Don't let it be for nothing," says Tamsin.
Then Suneetha sits beside Aife, and tells Bo that she will take care of her, adding that the only hope they have of leaving this place is if Bo leaves. Bo hands her mother over to Suneetha and gives her gratitude. Bo apologizes to her mother for leaving her again. At this point Tamsin can't really take anymore of the mushiness and tells Bo that it's time that they left, walking out of the room. Before Bo leaves, she takes one last look at her mother, hearing Tamsin in the background saying that she is ready to finish this, and yells at Bo to hurry up. Bo leaves. Out of nowhere, Aife comes to and chi sucks Suneetha probably dry.
Now Tamsin and Bo are walking around the compound to which seems in circles, ending up in the operating room. "It looks like Mary Shelley has left the building," says Tamsin. Her whole demeanor changed. "It really doesn't matter anyway, like I said before I'm ready to finish this."
Bo turns around, already expecting something to go down between them. "Finish meaning what exactly," she says, nonchalantly.
"I really don't give a shit. I'm just here to deliver. It's not my business what happens to you after that," says Tamsin.
"I knew it was a matter of time before you'd show your true colors," says Bo, shaking her head. "And that's messed up, after everything we went through together."
Tamsin smirks. "Well what can I say, I'm good at my job."
"So helping me all those times, what was that about?" asks Bo, folding her arms.
"It's called gaining trust, which I established wouldn't you agree?" says Tamsin.
"And everything else in between?" asks Bo, really wanting to know.
Tamsin laughs a bit. "I hope you're not referring to the sex are you? Oh wait you are," says Tamsin, shaking her head. "Don't you know that it's all a part of manipulation?" she says, rather smugly. Bo is getting upset. "Oh don't feel bad about it Bo. Even a squirrel enjoys a good nut," she says. Then she closes her eyes feeling an invisible smack. Tamsin opens her eyes and frowns like what the hell was that?
Bo is feeling herself grow angry from that comment, remembering the last time she heard those words. Then she calms herself with a huge sigh. "No matter how pissed you're trying to get me, or throw me off my game, I saw you, and it wasn't like this," she says, unfolding her arms.
"No, you saw what I wanted you to see. I told you from the beginning that I wasn't who you thought I was."
"It's things like that that tells me differently. Why would you even tell me something like that Tamsin if it was all just a game?"
"That was just fair warning. To give you a fighting chance."
Bo nods her head. "Okay. Maybe I was wrong about you all along. So now what then, are you gonna summon your little demons to come get me?"
Tamsin raises her eyebrow. "Yeah, if I wanted you to die."
Bo realizes something. "So that's why you really came to The Dawning with me?"
"Bingo. I couldn't have Dyson and even you for that matter messing up the package."
"So I'm just a package?"
"Always have been. Now what do you say we get this show on the road," says Tamsin, cracking her neck to get the kinks out.
"Just so you know, I won't back down," says Bo, preparing herself, not knowing what Tamsin has up her sleeves. Bo may love Tamsin, but now it's down to her life.
Tamsin takes out the rune glass. "Hopefully with this little baby, you won't be much of a fight," she says. She thinks about it. "Now what was it again, one hair from a person you love, two from a person you trust, and three from your own, fastened from a kiss by a person who wouldn't betray you." She sighs a content sigh as she looks at the vial. Then she throws the glass towards the floor directly in front of Bo. It shatters, but only seems to sparkle bits around her. Bo is looking at herself, wondering what is going to happen. Then Bo sighs in relief when nothing does. Tamsin frowns. "Since when does a druid botch a mix?"
"Apparently since now."
"It could be that you don't love and trust people like you used to."
"Gee I wonder why," says Bo, eyebrow raised.
"That's fine. I didn't want to have to do this, but now I have no choice."
"What, have to fight me?"
"Try my best not to kill you. And to be fair, I won't use any powers."
"How can I trust you?"
"Oh, you can't," says Tamsin.
Inside of the trunk of a car, Trick is preparing himself with some kind of sharp object in his hand. He threatens whoever his kidnappers are, but when the trunk is opened, it's Hale. He helps Trick out of the car. Trick is relieved.
Meanwhile back at the compound. Tamsin and Bo have already begun fighting each other. Bo is mostly dodging Tamsin's kicks and swings that have been breaking through walls, and doors. The two start throwing each other around. Tamsin is starting to get upset. She gets up from behind one of the operating tables, her hair coming out of its bun, and now resting down her shoulders. She goes back over to Bo, who hits her with a metal pan. Tamsin returns the favor, hitting Bo with one. But when the hit lands against Bo, something triggers in Tamsin's mind, and her heart begins to ache. "What is wrong with me," she says, to herself, still in fighting mode. Bo lands a punch to Tamsin's face that knocks her to the floor. Tamsin quickly gets up, rubbing the side of her face. "Good one," she says. Bo walks over to her and Tamsin jumps in the air, grabbing a pipeline and kicks Bo into a cabinet. "Oww," says Tamsin, to herself, landing back on her feet. Images surface across Tamsin's mind. Bo rushes over to her but Tamsin quickly moves out of the way. She trips Bo onto the floor and hits her. Now it is apparent that every hit against Bo causes her pain. "Fuck this," she says as her face turns ghastly. "YOU DON'T WANT TO DO THIS ANYMORE. YOU WANT TO STOP FIGHTING."
Bo immediately closes her eyes. "Thought we weren't using powers," she says as she reopens her eyes that are glowing blue. Then she sucks Tamsin's chi. Tamsin pushes her off. "Thanks for the pick me up."
"Alright, I'm done playing with you," says Tamsin, returning normal. Bo does the same. Then she swings on Bo, who ducks. Bo hits Tamsin, and Tamsin hits Bo back. Then Bo tosses Tamsin across the room. Tamsin is holding her head like she has a migraine. Tamsin gets up and faces her. "You will not win."
"It looks like I'm winning to me," says Bo. She then starts sucking Tamsin's chi from across the room, bringing Tamsin to her knees. Tamsin cuts off Bo's air supply, stopping her. Then a chain comes from out of Tamsin and knocks Bo across the room. Tamsin stands to her feet and walks over to Bo, but when she reaches Bo, she has changed, eyes blue, bones etched, hair blowing.
Tamsin frowns. "What the fuck?"
Dark Bo stands to her feet. "I am the most powerful of them all," says Bo, in her echoing demonic voice. "For I am my father's daughter, and they shall fear our wrath."
Tamsin starts backing away. "Guess we all have our secrets, but I did not see this coming." Then Bo brings blue flames to her hand and throws it at Tamsin. "Oh I don't think so," says Tamsin, her entire body engulfs in blue flames, blocking the attack. "That's my shit," she says, throwing a ball of flames in return. It doesn't do anything to Bo. Suddenly everything in the room starts to levitate except Tamsin. Bo is in the air. Tamsin watches this occurrence with major surprise. The expression on her face reads how come no one ever told me about this shit? Then everything starts spinning around faster. Tamsin finds herself dodging the flying objects. As this is going on, things are being thrown at her as well. "You gotta be shitting me." Tamsin starts deflecting the objects with her chains, turning them into a shield. "Okay," says Tamsin, nodding, "Two can play that game." Her skin turns grayish black, eyes hollow. The haunted sounds commence. "YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH A DARK SIDE." Her wings spread out then move forward with a powerful force, feathers become sharp as darts as they speed towards Bo. Bo puts her hand up and stops them from moving. Then she looks over to Tamsin and with her other hand throws Tamsin against the wall and keeps her in place. "NOW I'M REALLY GETTING PISSED," says Tamsin as she struggles to break free, still deflecting objects with her chains. Then she just starts burning the objects. "IF YOU WANT ME, COME AND GET ME!" says Tamsin.
Dark Bo slants her head to the side from the comment. "You dare challenge me," she says.
"HELL YEAH," says Tamsin.
"Then death you shall have," says Dark Bo, slowing walking over to Tamsin, the objects in the room still spinning.
Tamsin is still pinned against the wall. Bo reaches Tamsin and grabs her by the neck, preparing to break it. Suddenly multiple searing chains wrap around Bo, restraining her. Tamsin looks into Bo's eyes. "YOU WANT TO STOP THIS NOW AND RETURN TO YOUR NORMAL SELF," says Tamsin, using her influence over Bo, who made the mistake of looking into Tamsin's hollow eyes. Suddenly Bo snaps out of it, and returns to normal, including Tamsin. Everything falls to the ground, including them as well. However, this move has placed Tamsin in a position of vulnerability since Bo is on top of her, eyes still glowing blue. Tamsin is too weak and tired. Bo grabs Tamsin by her shoulders looking as if she is going to drain all of Tamsin's chi. But Bo hesitates, her eyes return brown. "What are you waiting for? Do it!" yells Tamsin, with this look of defeat in her eyes.
Bo shakes her head. "I can't," she says as she lets go of Tamsin. Bo sits up. Out of nowhere, Tamsin pulls out a jagged weapon, placing it underneath Bo's neck.
"You should have taken it while you had the chance."
"Tamsin don't do this. You know you don't want to. I know you and you were barely fighting me. This can all end here."
"I know it can. And you don't know shit about me."
"Okay, then do what you have to do. Just know that I love you, I always have and I always will," says Bo, closing her eyes.
"What?!" says Tamsin, her heart beginning to race. She looks into Bo's mind and sees that Bo is thinking about her lovingly. Then she starts seeing images inside of Bo that she's never seen before. Her hand trembles underneath Bo's neck. Tamsin's head starts aching. Then suddenly her eyes roll up to the whites as she is getting a memory overload. She sees herself interrogating Bo at the Glass Factory, then The Morrigan telling her to spy on Bo. Tamsin remembers having sex with Bo for the first time after the Frost Giant's damage. Then she sees herself trying to prevent a war that Bo and Vex would have created, yet Bo attacking her at the end. And when she first felt jealousy and her feelings for Bo ending with everyone messed up including herself in a coma, and then seeing Bo while in her coma acknowledging the connection they both shared. Next image is walking into Bo's house, saving Bo's life from the Goblin. And that same day, taking Bo to her home where they made love to each other shattering her glass house. She remembers breaking both her and Bo's heart after. Bo coming to her for help with Dyson, and the altercation that made her become at odds with The Morrigan when she saved Bo's life by killing Silas. Then she finally tells Bo how she really felt about her, becoming a couple with Bo. And how later she found out that no one could love her by almost killing Bo when she said that to her. She remembers asking Hel for help because she really cared for Bo, placing her in Hel's debt. And Bo and her reuniting again at the old manor when Bo asks her to make love to her in her true form which she complied. The day after she and Bo are putting their hands in the barren garden's dirt, and her asking Bo to move in with her. Then her final act, sacrificing her life for Bo when The Morrigan tried to have Bo killed. All of those old memories combined with these new memories are making her body shake. She comes to with a fresh set of eyes. Tamsin sees that she has a blade against Bo's neck. "What the hell am I doing?" she says, throwing the weapon away. "I'm so sorry Bo…I don't know what I was thinking. I would never," she says, with a frown, shaking her head. Bo reopens her eyes, and is looking at Tamsin so confused. "You have to know that I would never intentionally hurt you."
"Tamsin?" says Bo, with a questioning tone.
"Yeah, it's me, and I remember everything. And I'm sorry for coming back as a bitch, well an uber one," says Tamsin, sincerely. Bo's eyes grow watery. "Don't cry Bo," she says as tears begin to fall down Bo's face. She holds Bo in her arms.
"You don't understand," says Bo.
"Yes I do. And I know it took a lot on your end to bear with me, it showed a lot of patience. I want to thank you for never giving up on me," says Tamsin.
Bo cries even harder. "I'm sorry," she says, in between tears and sniffles. "I'm just so happy."
"So am I. And yes you can kiss me," says Tamsin. The two kiss each other as if it were for the first time. It gets lengthy and grows with intensity. After a while the kiss ends, and now the two are staring into each other's eyes. Bo's eyes glowing blue. "This is all really crazy. I mean I knew that something was off this whole time put I couldn't figure it out. I just thought it was me, well it was me, but me going insane. And the more I tried to fight it, the worse things became for me. And I was so confused. It's like every time I tried to resist you it was a battle for me. But I kept being drawn to you and I didn't know why. All I know was that I wasn't supposed to like you in any way, but I did, not at first, but slowly. You must have thought that I was nine kinds of crazy too."
"Well it was very difficult to say the least," responds Bo.
"You know, I remember the first time I knew there was something special about you. It was when I looked into your eyes when Jesper made you all frosty, but it was a beautiful image seeing the ice around your lips and eyes, your skin on the verge of becoming blue itself, and your eyes glowing. I mean you were dying and all, but it was like the most beautiful display of death that I had ever seen," says Tamsin.
Bo begins to smile. "Well I knew there was something about you when I first tasted your chi back when you were playing good cop bad cop," she says as she nestles back into Tamsin's arms.
Tamsin laughs. "You mean when you were acting like you were on crack," she says. Bo laughs too. "You know even after all the crazy stuff from this year, one thing positive did come out of it."
"Like what, you not putting me in jail or killing me," says Bo, jokingly.
"Well there is that. But I wanted to say that I got a second chance to fall back in love with you again," says Tamsin.
Bo is at a loss for words. She sits up. "I can't believe you just said that."
"And I can't believe you're thinking what you're thinking right now," says Tamsin. Then Tamsin comes back to her senses. "Wait, oh shit. I fucked up." They both stand to their feet.
"What, what happened?" asks Bo, concerned.
"I didn't do what I was supposed to do. Now they all are gonna be coming for me," says Tamsin, afraid but not revealing it as to not make Bo freak out.
"Who is this they?" asks Bo, with worried eyes.
"It doesn't matter. I've doomed us both, and I don't have that much power or time to protect us."
"What are you saying Tamsin?"
"I'm dying Bo. This body has been fading quickly. And I don't know why or how much longer it will last."
"Tamsin don't say things like that. Not when we've just found each other again. And I don't need your protection, I just need you," says Bo.
"You don't know what's going on here Bo. This is serious."
"Then tell me. Who is this guy that you tried to deliver me to?"
"Bo, I'm sorry, but I can't talk about it," says Tamsin. Bo shakes her head in disappointment. "Bo please, you have to understand. Some things cannot be said out loud, you never know who's listening."
"But it's just us," says Bo, not understanding.
"No, it's not. And if I were you I would get as far away from me as possible."
"You know that's never gonna happen. I lost you once, I'm not losing you again. So whatever happens, we're in this together," says Bo. Tamsin sighs like why doesn't she ever listen? She already knows that she cannot convince Bo otherwise. But Tamsin's eyes appear highly concerned, Bo notices. She rubs Tamsin across her face. "Baby don't worry. We'll get through this. We'll, we'll get the gang back together. I'll find Kenzi, and you'll get Dyson."
"It couldn't be the other way around," says Tamsin, still not liking Dyson very much.
"I know. Dyson is a lot of things, but he is loyal," says Bo. Tamsin rolls her eyes. "So me Kenzi, you Dyson, and we'll meet up at The Dal to figure out our next move."
"And Lauren, what about her?"
Bo sighs. "I mean I do care about her, but it's not the same. And this is like a really uncomfortable conversation."
"I was talking about getting her. I don't believe that she is a traitor."
"Oh," says Bo. "I don't know where she's at?"
Tamsin's eyes go black. "Yeah, she's not here."
"Then let's just go as planned. We'll figure out the rest later."
"Alright, but I have to do something first," says Tamsin, adamantly.
"Tamsin, promise me that you'll be there, at The Dal."
"Bo, I promise. I'm not going to leave you," says Tamsin, genuinely. Bo hugs her and Tamsin hugs Bo in return. "Yeah, I love you too," Tamsin says, reading Bo's thoughts. Bo kisses her. "Now you have to go." Bo is reluctant, and moves to the exit slowly, looking back at Tamsin. "You know I wasn't lying when I told you that you were perfect to me."
Now Bo is really feeling a certain kind of way. "I never doubted it."
"Okay. We should get going," says Tamsin, nodding her head in reassurance. Bo sighs then exits. Tamsin breathes deeply. "Okay, no thoughts, no thoughts. But this shit is going to hurt." Her skin turns grayish black, and she is wearing a black cloak. Chains come from out of the floor, taking hold of her ankles, her wrists, and neck, and she is pulled in. The room is now empty.
