At the crack shack, Tamsin is sitting on the couch shaken up and tired as Dyson is barraging her with questions concerning Bo, to which she has given him the same answer, that she doesn't know anything about Bo. She looks over to Kenzi and asks her if he's going to try to hurt her.
Kenzi shakes her head, feeling a little ache to the heart. "No. I would never let that happen, okay?" she says. Tamsin nods her head in a trusting manner. "He's a cop, you know they like to ask a lot of questions."
"Then shouldn't I be at a station or getting a lawyer?" asks Tamsin, seriously. "They always do that on those television shows that I watch, and I don't think this is legal."
Kenzi smiles like a proud parent, except in this case mentor to her protégé. Dyson looks over to Kenzi. "Ah c'mon D-man, you know that was good."
"No, it wasn't," he says, upsettingly. "She's playing you and she's lying, can't you see that?"
"I'm not lying," says Tamsin, earnestly.
"Look Dyson, for all we know she probably isn't even Tamsin. She just heard that name being said a lot," says Kenzi, not knowing what to really say.
"Do you really believe that?" he asks, giving Kenzi a crazy look.
Kenzi shrugs her shoulders like anything's possible. She then thinks of something. "You remember that time when we all thought she was a goner, and she returned all cloney and stuff. Well this is not that kind of cloney."
"There was never any proof of that," Dyson replies.
"Um dude, I was there, that's proof enough," Kenzi says as a matter of factly.
Dyson fold his arms. "As memory serves me correct, it was noted that she was undercover."
Kenzi smirks a yeah-right smirk. "And you believe that?" she says, turning his words on him.
"It doesn't matter what you say to me, blue eyes, blonde hair, keeps growing. Sounds like a Valkyrie to me," says Dyson, now looking at Tamsin, with a bit of anger mixed with frustration and annoyance in his eyes.
Kenzi doesn't say anything because she shares Dyson's points, however Tamsin is still a child, so she spares Tamsin her thoughts on the matter at hand.
Tamsin is mixed up in her feelings, confused and wondering why this is happening to her. "Why are you being so mean to me? I never did anything to you," she asks, frowning a kind of sad frown. Kenzi scratches her head like well I don't know about all that but okay. "I already told you everything that I know…I'm sorry but I don't know anything about what you're talking about," says Tamsin, kind of reminiscent to when she interrogated Bo at The Glass Factory years ago.
"Don't give me that," says Dyson, not holding back. "You know something," he says, with an intense glare at Tamsin. "Now tell me, where the hell is Bo?!" he yells, which startles Tamsin.
Kenzi is now upset. "Hey! Hey!" she yells, to Dyson, with a stern look. "I never agreed to this shisum Dyson," she says, with a look of distaste. "So don't yell at her like that. You hear me?"
Dyson gives her a please-what-are-you-going-to-do look. "I can do what I want."
Kenzi gives him a bitch-please-I'm-Kenzi look. "Does this look like your crib nah I didn't think so, so respect the house," she says, arms folded. The room becomes momentarily silent. Then Kenzi sighs. "Look D-man, I know that you're upset okay, we get it, but you need to take it down a few notches."
Then out of nowhere. "I would if she would tell the damn truth!" he yells, again, shocking Tamsin and Kenzi.
"Stop it," says Tamsin, emotionally affected. "Stop yelling at me. I didn't do anything wrong. I don't even know who Bo is so could you just leave me alone," she says, anguish in her voice.
Kenzi is looking like this is breaking her heart. "I can't take this," she says, shaking her head. "This is way wrong."
Dyson continues with Tamsin, ignoring her plea. "You do know who Bo is. Her name were your first words, so I know that you're lying."
"Dyson, she was a baby for crying out loud," says Kenzi.
"Baby my ass," he says, pass rude.
"Dude," says Kenzi, nodding her head in a fed-up manner. "You need to watch your language."
"Why because it's Tamsin," he says, without a care in the world.
"No because I said so," says Kenzi, with a very effective being an asshole tone. "And anyway, I'm like her mothe," she says, stopping herself. "I'm her guardian. And I'm sorry my dude, but you can't speak to her like that, point blank with the period."
"So now you want to be her mother all of a sudden," says Dyson.
"All of a sudden?" says Kenzi, now offended. "I have been that, I mean, her guardian since she was a baby."
"So what, you're covering for her now? Teaching her how to steal, how to lie?" he says, reaching.
Kenzi puts her hands up in the air as if she were in church praising, sighing at the same time. "I'm gonna act like I didn't hear that. Whew, let them evil thoughts come out," she says, talking to herself, but out loud. "Calming down, calming down, calming down. Now relax Kenzi, you are o-kay," she says. "Made me have to clutch my pearls."
Tamsin is looking at her with concern. "Kenzi? Do you need me to get you something?" she asks, to which makes Dyson sneer.
"No, I'm okay Kira, I mean Tamsin." Kenzi shakes her head. "I'ma just call you KT from now on. It's a nickname," she says, to which makes an uncomfortable Tamsin smile. Dyson shakes his head in contempt. "Now back to you," says Kenzi, looking at Dyson. "Do you think that this is what Bo would want?"
"Well Bo isn't here is she? And she," he says, pointing at Tamsin, "was the last person to see her."
Kenzi walks over to Dyson. "Do you really think that Tamsin would hurt Bo?" she whispers, to him. Dyson is silent. "I didn't think so," she says.
"Kenzi can I go upstairs now? I'm really tired," says Tamsin.
"Sure kiddo," answers Kenzi. Tamsin gets up and walks away all the while Dyson's eyes following. "And don't forget to do the bathroom stuff, and the pajamy jams!"
Dyson unfolds his arms now. "So you're just going to let her leave like that?"
"Well hell Dyson, after the shit you just pulled tonight, that's damn near torture," says Kenzi, with a frown.
"Don't act like you didn't want answers too."
"I did, and I do, but not like that. I mean c'mon D-man, she is just a child."
"She is no child. She's a Valkyrie and she's Dark Fae," he says.
"Oh here we go with this Light Fae Dark Fae bull-shit. And she is still a child. It's not her fault that you just don't like her, and you know why," points out Kenzi. Dyson doesn't say anything. Kenzi sighs. "Have you ever thought that maybe she is telling the truth." Dyson starts walking towards the exit. "Hey, I was talking to you," says Kenzi.
"I'll see you tomorrow. Along with Trick," he says.
"Trick? Since when did Trick get involved in this? This was supposed to be between me and you."
"It was, then I got my memories back. And I made a call to Trick. We'll be seeing you tomorrow."
"And what are you going to tell him huh? That a baby pulled an abracadabra into the clubhouse, and in a bling basket because shits like that happens all the time. Or are you going to tell him how we kept her hidden from everyone because you couldn't tell if she was Fae or not? My bet is you still can't," she says, raising her eyebrow. "So what's it gonna be Dyson? Another shit-show like tonight, or maybe, just maybe that you just found her at the crash site," says Kenzi, trying to plant a seed.
"Like I said, we'll see you tomorrow," he says, exiting.
Ooohh," says Kenzi, pissed. "Tamsin was right, you are a dick."
The next day at the crack shack, Trick is placing a crate of items on the floor, unbeknownst to him, the infamous Wanderer card with Bo on it, is in there as well. "So you found her a couple days ago at the truck site," says Trick, to Dyson.
"I know right, like who would have thunk it," responds Kenzi, looking at Dyson as well. Tamsin is sitting on the sofa wearing earplugs inserted into a laptop.
In Dyson's jacket pocket, his phone vibrates from a private number. It's Lauren, who is now a waitress named Amber at Ronny's Restaurant. After not receiving an answer, she hangs up the pay-phone, frustrated. When she turns around she is startled by another waitress named Crystal, who is very much so in her personal space. She wants to know how Lauren is doing and Lauren tells her that she's fine. Crystal offers assistance in a friendly manner, however Lauren respectfully declines, walking away.
At the same time, at the crack shack. "I wonder why you guys didn't tell me sooner about this?" questions Trick.
"Well like duh, we did all just got our memories back," says Kenzi.
"She looks pretty well-kept, and mannered to have been out there by herself," ponders Trick.
"Well you know, Valkyries, I mean am I right?" says Kenzi. Trick frowns at her while Dyson sighs. "What's the big deal with bathing and clothes, I mean has anyone ever heard of presentation, it's everything," she shrugs.
"Well, you're doing a good job," says Trick, nodding his head in approval.
Kenzi gasps. "Finally. Some respect around here," she says, looking over to Dyson like in your face.
"You all are lucky you found her before anyone else did," says Trick. Both Kenzi and Dyson gives him a what and why look. "Not only are young Valkyries vulnerable, but they are also really valuable."
Kenzi raises her eyebrow. "Like how valuable are we talking?" she asks. Trick gives her a don't-even-think-about-it look. "What? I wasn't going to like sell her or anything. I just want to know, for my science."
"Very valuable Kenzi," responds Trick, shaking his head.
Dyson changes the conversation. "I questioned her. She doesn't know anything Trick."
"I'm not surprised. She's still young. Valkyries have many lifetimes and as they grow so do their memories," says Trick.
"So what? We have to just wait around until she's all grown up?" says Dyson, upset.
"Like that'll take any time," says Kenzi.
Trick stops what he is doing. "Dyson, these are critical stages for a Valkyrie. They see so much death that they could either accept or reject memories from their past lives."
"So now we're leaving Bo's life up to chance," says Dyson.
"I'm not saying that," says Trick.
"Then what are you saying Trick?" says Dyson, but before Trick can even explain himself, Dyson continues. "Because I'm sure as hell am not going to sit around here doing nothing when Bo's life can be in danger waiting for some brat to regain their memories."
Kenzi's eyes have the look of a woman standing over someone with a pot of boiling hot cooking oil. "Rude much. And her name is Tamsin. What an asshole?"
"What did you call me?" says Dyson, arrogantly.
"You heard me," says Kenzi, unbothered.
"Alright already!" yells Trick, losing his patience. This makes Tamsin take out her earplugs to see what is going on. "Now both of you calm down. We all want Bo back just as much as the other, and we can't do that unless we all are in accordance, agreed," he says. Kenzi and Dyson nod their heads. "Now, there is another way. It may be a long shot, but we would need the Recuerdo Compass. It's been missing since Engelram's ball." Dyson notices two slashes on Trick's arm, but doesn't comment on them.
"You mean the Ricotta Rita Ora thingy, says Kenzi. She gets up and goes into her purse, taking the compass out of it.
Trick smiles. "Yes, but how? Wait why am I even asking."
"Hey, I'll have you know that I earned that fair and square buddy," says Kenzi as she hands it to him.
Randomly, Trick with a rather peculiar look asks them if they've seen his ruby encrusted Armillary Sphere. Before anyone can say anything, Tamsin asks Kenzi if she could use the restroom. Kenzi gives her a yes look with a slant of her head and Tamsin exits. Trick forgets about it and begins doing something with the compass. While Trick is busy, Kenzi and Dyson are debating amongst each other about finding Bo. Kenzi wants to help, but Dyson tells her that he and Hale will look for her.
"I should be included. She is my BFF remember," says Kenzi.
"And Tamsin is your responsibility. She's very valuable remember," he says, with a smirk.
"Damn, you're right. I hate it when that happens," Kenzi complains. Trick sshh's the pair. "What, what is it Trick? Did you find her?" she asks.
"She's not here," he says, confused.
Kenzi does a half laugh. "Yeah, I think we all kinda figured that out by now."
Trick is appearing highly concerned. "What are you not saying?" asks Dyson.
"Bo is not here," he says, to which makes Kenzi thinks he's lost his marbles. He continues. "As in not on this physical plane here."
"Holy shit dude. I don't even think I really understand what that even means, but it sounds trei bad," says Kenzi. "Okay processing, does that mean that she doesn't exist," she says, worried.
"I wouldn't say that Kenzi, she's just not registering on our plane by the reading of this compass," Trick explains.
"Man, I knew I should have watched The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy," says Kenzi.
Meanwhile somewhere on another physical plane, Bo wakes up in a bed wearing a white flower embroidered nightgown. Bo calls out to someone and receives no answer. She sits up, and is feeling kind of dizzy from the constant motion of wherever she's at. Looking around the place isn't much of an upgrade from the crack shack. She gets up from out of the bed and looks out of a broken window. What she sees leaves her all a gasp as she is traveling at great speed into nothing but darkness.
The Dal. Inside of Trick's dwelling, Dyson wants to know what happened to his arm as he can smell Aife's blood. Trick explains that when they got their memories back, she went back insane and he had to do what he had to do to defend himself. He doesn't want Bo to know. In any case, Dyson is naming trackers that he knows of but aren't of any use when Trick pulls out a card from his Rolodex, explaining to Dyson that there is one person that can cross all planes, Endymion, but no one has heard from him in 800 years, however Selene his Ex just might know something. He hands Dyson the card to a hair salon that she owns. Before Dyson could exit, both he and Trick hear screams of horror. Trick tells him that's the Una Mens way of correcting the colony.
At the old Ash's compound. Inside of the Una Mens chamber, a bloodied and tortured Vex is uncomfortably trapped inside some kind of contraption as his body lies on top of what looks to be a steel-plated butcher's table. A short-haired blonde woman that lacks expression wearing a wool-type trench coat walks over to him asking about his pain in a rather monotone manner to which he responds to with sarcasm. On the wall are masks that reads and sort of looks like the people that they are trying to correct/get rid of like Bo, Lauren, Kenzi, including him. The woman wants to know the whereabouts of Evony, and he tells her that she escaped. She does not believe him. A one-eyed man wearing a robe of the same material grabs Vex's mask. They are about to take him out permanently until he promises to them that he can get them her. She agrees, but before they let him go, the one-eyed man grabs an archaic looking lab tong and pulls out a slimy parasitic thing from behind the woman's ear, and then places it into Vex's mouth.
Dyson and Hale walks into the hair salon, questioning Selene about Endymion, she doesn't have an answer for that, but does have one for Dyson's hair, requesting to fix it. While Dyson is in the back, Hale tries to look in their computer, but is stopped by Clio, who takes his hat, and places it on her head. She informs Hale that she knows that they're looking for Endymion, however Selene isn't going to help them. Clio then offers help, by telling Hale to go to Astrid and writes something in Hindi on his hand to give to her when he sees her. Before he can catch Clio's name, she disappears, leaving behind his hat.
Back at the crack shack, Kenzi has enlisted Tamsin to help her redecorate Bo's room. "Tell me, why are we doing this again?" asks Tamsin.
"Because it's Bo's room, and I want it to be special when she gets back from you know wherever," explains Kenzi.
"But I thought this was your room?"
"Um, I was just borrowing it until she uh came back."
"So does that mean that I won't be sleeping in it anymore?" inquires Tamsin.
"I highly doubt that," says Kenzi, to which Tamsin does a confusing frown. "Um, I mean, you know, no, you'll be sleeping with me in my room. And you kiddo will have your own bed," says Kenzi, in a proud manner.
Now Tamsin frowns a real frown. "There's another room in this dump."
"Oh KT, you are just slowly sounding more and more like yourself," says Kenzi. Tamsin raises an eyebrow. "And of course there's another room, it's called the attic."
"Wow really," responds Tamsin, unenthused. "Why am I not surprised."
"Well you should be because it's not just some ordinary smelly attic, it's been Kenzified."
"Okay. So I have a question, are you sure you and Dyson aren't boyfriend and girlfriend?"
Kenzi looks surprised by the question once again. "Hel-cks to the nall. We're just homies."
"What about Hale?"
"Um no, he's a homie too, cop homie, but my homie. Hey, what's up with the interrogations into my personal?"
"I just wanted to know. So, have you ever even been in a relationship?" asks Tamsin,
Kenzi looks insulted. "What do you think? I mean have you looked at me." Then Kenzi sighs. "I had a special one before, you know guy, but I had to let him go."
"Why is that?"
"Dang dude, and because some shiznyee happened, secrets, complications, Fae, saving, more complications, last goodbye, broken heart, and you start to question love, is it divine or full of crap, end of story," says Kenzi as if she has had way too many energy drinks. Tamsin doesn't know what to make of all that, giving Kenzi a look of concern, that is for her health. "Did I mention men are like uber stupid?" she adds.
Tamsin is looking over some of the things that Kenzi bought for Bo. "Why does she need condoms?"
"Good point, very good point," says Kenzi. "Anyway, you're too young, I mean to know that, about stuff like that. It's grown folks business. Plus she might get hungry so…" she adds, not even thinking about the words that are coming out of her mouth.
"So people eat condoms?" asks Tamsin, really wanting to know, holding one. "Doesn't look like it has any ingredients on the back of it."
"Okay what did I just tell you, and hey put that back," says Kenzi. Tamsin complies. "Now here have a lollipop," she says, sticking one inside of Tamsin's mouth to prevent her from asking anymore questions.
Tamsin takes the lollipop from out of her mouth. "Can at least use the bathroom?"
"You know, you don't have to ask me that every time you have to use it. You're old enough, just go when you have to go."
While Tamsin is in the bathroom, Kenzi is fixing up Bo's bed. She stops immediately when she sees the bathroom light up in different hues. "Oh please for all that is holy tell me that she didn't do what I think she did," says Kenzi, rushing to the bathroom. She opens the door.
"Look Kenzi, I'm Jubilee," says Tamsin, sparks coming from her hands.
"Oh no!" says Kenzi, which startles Tamsin and makes her accidently drop the container of cream in the toilet. "Why, why would you do that to me?"
"What did I do Kenzi?" asks Tamsin, feeling bad.
"My spark cream. It was the only thing I had to protect me. Now it's all gone," says Kenzi, all down and out. She is shaking her head in gloom. "Now everything's gone to hell."
"I'm sorry Kenzi. I was drying my hands, and I thought that it was lotion."
Kenzi sighs heavily. "It's not your fault kiddo, it's mine for leaving it out in the open like that."
"So that's where you get your powers from?"
Kenzi gives her a peculiar look. "What do you know kid?"
"I saw you use them with the snake man…and when that creepy guy snatched you when you were on the truck," Tamsin admits.
"Wait," says Kenzi, shaking her head. "I get at Engelram's but you were just a tyke when zombie boy happened. And how did you get there anyway?" Tamsin ignores her question and instead makes a shape of a heart using the sparks. "Aww, even though I may be captured, tortured, maimed and likely killed, that was like so sweet. Come here, give us a hug," she says, her arms wide open. Tamsin gives her a hug. "Okay, now take a shower." Tamsin gives her a look. "You are not about to be chasing me around the house with those hands. No go on. Hey, we'll bake some cookies when you're all done."
At Astrid's. After showing the message that Clio wrote on Hale's hand, Astrid refuses the request. Both Dyson and Hale look confused. She explains to them that whoever wrote that isn't trying to help them, but instead would like their memories gone. She goes on to tell them about their current lives as she concocts some sort of potion. Hale is like he doesn't know what she's talking about, and she tells him that she can't, talk that is, removing the clothing that was covering her mouth to which she has none. She's an Astomi, and Hale does his formalities, bowing and such. When that is over, she goes on to tell them about how she and Selene were business partners for years as she made creams for the salon. However, twelve years ago someone there gave her a bad perm that she is still dealing with to this day. With that being said, she would happily assist them. She gives the potion to Dyson telling him that it's a single kiss and to use it wisely, more or less, then she puts some kind of something on Hale's forehead for courage.
Selene's hair salon. The all blonde and female employees are cleaning up the place in a seductive manner while listening to music, dancing and giggling and cleavage all at the same time. Hale and Dyson walk in, Hale tells him he had a dream like that before. Clio shows up, the only brunette and warns them that they should've never returned. Hale lets her know that she is a liar to which makes Clio gather the women, telling them it's time to eat before departing herself. The women then circle Hale and Dyson with sharp objects, some even with Lady Deathstrike fingers. Dyson asks Hale if this is what happened in his dream which Hale replies no, that he was the only one with a pointy object. Suddenly the women stop, and now they are all over Hale like peanut butter jelly time, pushing Dyson out of the way. Hale wonders what the Astrid has done to him. Dyson asks him if he needs help to which Hale happily declines, telling him to find Selene and Endymion.
The crack shack. Kenzi is stirring a bowl of cookie dough that appears to have been made from scratch. "So if you and Bo live together…" says Tamsin, being cut off by Kenzi.
"Before you ask that question, we are strictly, and I do mean strictly BFF's okay."
"I was just going to ask you if you loved her?" says Tamsin.
"Well yeah, she's my BFF," she says, handing Tamsin a wooden spoon with dough on it. "Tell me how you like that?"
Tamsin is looking hesitant. She tries it, and it tastes awful to her. "Um, it's great," she says, with a partial frown that goes unnoticed to Kenzi as she continues to stir. "So, what is a BFF anyway?"
"It's like when you're really tight with someone, you know. You hang out all the time. Drink together, listen to each other's problems. Always there when you need them. Answers your calls and texts when you send them. When one cries the other cries. And if the crying is over someone, you find out who made them cry and hit that person in the head with a bag of nickels, or bust some windows out then you go out later and party. And you like know where they are when they're not around you," says Kenzi, stirring the bowl of dough harshly.
"So if Bo is your BFF, how come you don't know where she is?" asks Tamsin.
"Because I'm a major bag of suckatude."
While Kenzi is busy stirring, Tamsin is busy going through the box that Trick left over. Frowning perhaps in curiosity, she picks up the tarot card, flipping it over to see a man standing next to a woman backs turned, and on it reads The Wanderer. Almost immediately the card sets aflame. Tamsin throws it on the floor. "Um Kenzi, I don't want to get in trouble but there's a fire."
"There's a fire, what do you mean a fire?" She turns around and sees it. "What in the Smokey the bear," she says, rushing over to it. Then she sees the card. "That can't be Bo," she says. She then begins blowing on the card to no avail.
"You should probably try something else because I don't think this place is fire-proof."
"Yeah you're right, and not about the house smarty." She looks for something to contain it and grabs what looks to be a glass cake lid and places it over the small fire until it burns out. Then she removes the lid and she and Tamsin observes the card.
"That MMVX was not on there when I touched it," explains Tamsin.
"MMVX? I don't even know what that even means," says Kenzi. "Damn, am I ever so not helpful." She sighs. "I should tell Dyson," she says as she texts him.
"What if that's Bo and she's trapped inside of the card?" asks Tamsin. Kenzi is now looking worried.
