MJ woke up to the sound of someone crying. She had finally got some sleep. After a time of lot of thinking. She had to distract herself. She turned around to find her sister sleeping by her side and her tiny little hands were wrapped around her. She quietly slid out of her hold and kissed her sister's forehead.

Damon was on the couch with a knife in his hand. He cut his finger and it healed quickly. He looked relieved. She was confused honestly. What was he doing? She came forward to ask him but saw Elena and Bonnie coming out.

" Aunt Bon Bon." MJ squealed and came forward to hug her which Damon turn around to look at her.

" Hey , kiddo." Bonnie said back in happiness.

" How are you? When did you come here? How is dad? " She asked all fast not letting her answer even any one of the question. Bonnie smiled as she spoke slowly.

" I am okay. I came here just today I guess. And your dad is okay too."

MJ nodded as Elena came forward to hug her. It was tight hug and she definitely couldn't breathe.

" You had me scared to death." Elena mumbled as she let go of her.

" What happened?" MJ asked as everything got quiet but she could hear Caroline crying.

" Why is Aunt Care crying?" Elena and Bonnie looked at each other and Bonnie spoke.

" She is human now."

" What!?" Damon and MJ spoke at the same time.

" How's this possible?" MJ asked as Damon got quiet.

" You have some talking to do with Sam."

" Did he do this?"

'' Not directly, but his blood is the cure." Elena tried to explain. Bonnie gestured something to MJ and took her to another room to talk.

" What is the Cure?" Damon asked and Elena continued explain.

" And I have Cure in my body too for some reason." She said rubbing her head.

" Were you a vampire at some point?" Damon asked after he thought about it. Elena nodded at this and he looked shocked.

" You...died?How?" Damon held her hands and looked in her eyes. Elena's cheek looked flushed as she was seeing her husband concern and he looked so younger than her. She smiled

" I drowned in my car at the same bridge where parents died. I had your blood in my system. No , I didn't feed from you. That's a whole other story so."

Damon sat down as he absorbed the news of Elena dying in the future and him being her sire. She sat down next to him and took his hand and looked at him. He looked back at her and she smiled sadly.

" I am happy for you though. You got that life you wanted. Human , children , a career and you still look beautiful."

" Me too. I love my family. One of the best decisions of my life. " As she showed him her wedding ring , he was both happy for her and sad for himself for some reason. They sat comfortably for some time when MJ came out all excited with Bonnie.

" We have a plan!!" MJ exclaimed as she shut the door.

Before the couple could ask, MJ gestured them to wait and ask for Damon phone. After some time , she put the phone down and responded.

" Hope is with Alaric , Lizzie and Josie are with Caroline, Mason and Stefan are with Jenna . They are going to bring her here in the evening. We need Sam so I am going to find him. "

" You can't go alone." Damon said as he got up. ' And that isn't a question.' and picked up his car keys.

" So what is the plan ?" Elena asked as she turned towards Bonnie.

Lizzie and Josie looked at each other and awkwardly sipped their coffee and tea respectively as Liz looked at them keenly.

" I thought vampires couldn't.." She started but Lizzie interrupted.

" No , they can't but Our Gemini coven .. witch family .. yes witches too exist, transferred us into our mom's womb when our bio mom was dying at the altar. Yeah , a crazy uncle of our killed her at her wedding. " She continued to sip her coffee.

" Cookies ? " Caroline entered the room with fresh cookies. The awkwardness was in the air, weirdly fresh cookie smell wasn't helping too.

" Yes , please." Josie answered and smiled. She picked up one and bit.

Caroline's phone ringed and she answered the call.

" We need to go. Something about the ritual." Caroline said and both got up. They were kinda glad to leave the place in all honesty.

" First we need Katherine. " Bonnie said as everyone sat down. Sam got up volunteered to get her.

" Sam, now that Tom won't need to die .Can you save him too?" MJ asked innocently and smiled sweetly when he nodded back at her. Damon eyed him carefully and then her. He looked at her mother smiling at both of them. For some reason, he wanted to dislike him. But he always protected MJ , he definitely was in love with her and wanted to be with her. But also he wasn't her lapdog because he had heard both of them arguing over stuff and one of them agreeing to others point. They were compatible. He need to talk to Sam.

Caroline hadn't come out of the room yet and VC was shocked as she was enjoying her vampirism as she heard herself cry for some time and then doze off to sleep.

" So , you like the kid? " Damon asked Sam as he drove towards Ric's apartment. They had almost reached and hadn't talked in the last 15 minutes of the car ride. Damon volunteered to go with Sam to get Katherine before MJ could say something.

" I mean MJ." He clarified before Sam could answer.

" Yes , I do.Very much. Sir. " He felt uncomfortable for some reason. He knew he wasn't exactly MJ's dad now but would later

"She's a good kid. Hurt her and I would find a way to kill you." He said as he parked the car.

" Let's get that bitch to her death. " Damon smirked , almost satisfied.

As they reached the door, Sam and Damon heard noise behind the door. Sam spelled something under his breath and open the door. He saw Klaus , a witch and two vampires looking pissed at him. He smiled at them brightly and waved at them. He saw witch spelling something but obviously it wouldn't work.

" You!" Klaus almost snarled at him.

Damon entered through the door and looked around to see Katherine and his brother's doppelganger. He hoped that doppelganger didn't have hero hair like two goody shoes brother. He went to get them as Klaus and the vampires jumped at Sam. Greta grew frustrated as she tried hard to spell everything. Before they could touch Sam , he spelled and approached Damon.

' Invisique.'

They couldn't see them and tried to hunt. Sam was tired of the fighting. Being bitten isn't fun. Besides he had other things to attend to.

Stefan and Mason had brought Jenna and John to boarding house. Sam had made a barrier around the house which no supernatural

'' So you are saying his blood is the cure? " Stefan sat down as MJ explained to him.

" Yes. Stefan? "

" Yes? "

" You have made great progress. You are in so much control. But if you want to be human , I can ask Sam for some his blood or my mom... "

" You are a good kid. " Stefan smiled and patted her head.

" But if you want to... " She still continued as she really wanted the help him. She felt guilty because of terrible things have been happening. Him and Mom breaking up. It had hurt him. She wanted him to be happy.

" It's a big decision, MJ. I need time to think about it . Okay?"

MJ nodded her head as they waited for others to arrive.

'' So plan is this. Sam with his magic would make human for sometime and in that time , she would be given to Klaus to break the curse. She would supposedly die but won't. As Hope would make a potion which would preserve her heart till she gets her vampire side back. And everyone would stay here except for Aunt Bonnie , Hope , Stefan , Me and Sam. Everyone including the werewolves too. ''

" Why don't you let that bitch rot in hell?"

MJ and FB looked at each other , making Damon and Stefan more confused.

" We need her for something." Bonnie chipped in after staying for so long.

" This house is being protected by my magic. No supernatural can enter this house without Elena's permission. "

" And what job do we have? " Lizzie asked on behalf of her and Josie

" Tak care of your mom and please stay inside. " Bonnie said as she was concerned. MJ put her hand forward.

" We got this." Hope chimed in as she put her hand on MJ's as more hands joined in. Even Damon joined in after the twins insisted. He rolled his eyes and put his hand on the other hands.

Jenna looked at Mason as he placed her bags in the room where she was staying. He had been told that he and Tyler must stay here. Tyler was coming by later but he was still worried.

" I want to talk to you." Jenna said as he walked towards and sat by her side. He slowly took her hand in her own and looked at her. She had been his drunk buddy and he had sex with her when they were both wasted. They were still friends at the essence but he had come to like her as his girlfriend. Though things haven't been official between them because he was supposedly her rebound. He was afraid to speak about his feelings after Katherine's betrayal. Thankfully he didn't end up dead this time.

" Yeah , Jen?" He asked as she sighed peacefully and laid her head on his shoulder.

" What do you think about us? What is this thing?" Jenna said slowly because she was confused. She was hooking up with a werewolf andher friend. She was somehow over Alaric after she saw her kids. They were beautiful and he deserves being happy. She was getting her memories back. She was kidnapped and killed. But now she was alive.

" Jen, I like you very much." Mason said quietly and felt Jenna smile against his shoulder.

" I like you very much too." She turned her head towards him and kissed him gently. He touched her cheek lightly. He looked nervous for some reason.

" I don't know what would you say but would you like to be .. my... girlfriend? " He said and immediately burst into red. Jenna laughed heartily , making Mason sure about her decision. She was done with him.

" Mason, we are not in third grade. But I would very much like to be your girlfriend. " She said sweetly , making his eyes twinkle. He jumped on her and kissed her furiously. She smiled against his lips and kissed back passionately.

" Why would you do that , Damon? Making me drink your blood? " Elena asked furiously as she entered Damon's room to find him reading on his couch.

" Aren't you a little pissed?" Damon said , putting down his book and looked at her. She was definitely furious with him.

" Tell me."

" It's a memory, Elena. It hasn't even happened."

" You owe me that much, Damon. " She said coming close to him and looked into his eyes, wanting to show confidence.

He sighed and shook his head.

" You know why."

" Because you didn't want to lose me? Why do you care? You don't even talk to me or look at me even. Why? "

" Is it because I am a doppelganger and I need to be protected? You killed my brother, Damon. You do reckless things but you don't stop talking to me."

" Because it's hard to be around you. You have future, Elena and I am no part of it , fortunately. You are surgeon, you are happily married and have two beautiful kids. I can't lose you but they can't lose you too. " Damon finally burst with emotions , making Elena perplexed.

" Leave me alone , Elena. For some time."

'' I know you love me and you can't tell me you don't. I remember the day you told me you loved me and compelled me to forget about it. If I were you , I would careful about confessing for love and not checking for vervain. " She turned around and left the room, leaving Damon in an emotional peril.

Just one day and he would leave Mystic Falls forever.

" We have no Freaking doppelganger!We need to break the curse. Do something! " Klaus barked orders at his minions and Greta who calmly tried to re evaluate things.

Suddenly, Greta's eyes turned white and her tongue started batting in and out. Fir started around her and she started to speak.

" Klaus Mikealson. You would have your doppelganger and werewolf. After helping you , you would have to leave us alone. If you don't, consequences would be worse. "

Suddenly the fire stopped and Greta became normal. She looked dazed and after a minute , she fainted.

" Yeah, I will leave you alone after killing everyone you have loved , witch boy." Klaus said in a deadly quiet voice and threw his whiskey glass on the wall.

'' I can help you with that ." Klaus turned around to find a man who he would later find out by unfortunate means was the Devil and had planned to kill MJ.

It had been a long time since she had talked to best friend properly. MJ saw and talked to Hope but it was mostly about saving the world and stuff. They had some time left before sun would rise and Hope was almost done with her work. MJ had to talk to her because she missed her. She went to the room where Hope was staying and sat on the bed.

" Hope , I keep having these visions. You know my visions turn out to be true. It involves me dying. " MJ told Hope after some courage.

" How do you in yout visions?" Hope said , being unusually calm.

" I have not seen myself exactly dead but more like , my body slowly turning grey and ..."

" You feel the pain. It's the potion we had made for my dad. I knew something like this might happen because it was gone when he came to get Tom. Don't worry I will take care of it. "

" Hope, I am worried though. I don't wanna die. "

"You are not dying on my watch. I have seen enough of the people I love die." She said seriously and felt confident about this time.

" I love you , Mikealson." MJ said as she hugged her hard.

" I missed you, Salvatore." Hope miffed as she hugged back her best friend.

" I promise everything will be alright when we go back. " MJ said as she broke the hug and Hope nodded at her.

" It's weird because I came to see my uncle and you to save your parents. " MJ said as she scratched her head.

" I know. It's weird talking to Uncle Elijah like strangers and dad like some enemy, we have to overthrow." Hope sighed.

" I think I have lost my sleep for tonight. I am stressed and results could be anything for tomorrow. We have foolproof plan but anything can happen. "

" MJ, don't worry about it. I won't let it happen again. For the sleep part, I haven't slept well for days. So tonight's not that different." Hope wrapped her hand around MJ's shoulder for some reason. She had felt protective about her since MJ had barged her way in. She remembered the first time they met. MJ was aware about vampires and everything. But it got more into detail when she learned about other creatures. Her dad's and uncle's vampire life. She didn't know about Klaus or any of the hardships of her parents. People talked to her about her dad and his lifestyle. Mostly praised his self control and how her uncle was the ripper but the good vampire. She was after all studying in a school named after her surname. When MJ learned about Hope being a Mikealson, her first question was if she was a threesome baby because she was tribrid. Hope had found it amusing because MJ wasn't joking about it but rather serious. She had told MJ about her status but stayed distant as she did usually. MJ was fascinated with her and usually came to talk to her as she worked with Emma as a counselor yet artifact consultant.

After Hope had graduated from the school, She took admission in UCLA and chose to become psychologist and took Archaeology by side. Took her five or six years. Josie chose music as her major and Lizzie was in medical school.

For Hope , she was becoming more of an annoying teenager and a point came when Stefanie got on her nerves and Hope kind of snapped at her. At some point, she seemed sad but didn't press on Hope again. It was time when MJ saved Hope from a witch hunter who wanted to make her fully activated tribrid for her blood. They were in woods when Hope was looking for something. Hope couldn't turn into werewolf or use magic because Hunter had already given her a mixture of wolfsbane and herbs supposed to suppress magic. MJ had to kill her when she saw Hope fading out. She took her back to school. Hope was up and got to know about MJ saving her life. Hope had thanked her but she was surprised and shocked to see MJ shaken up about killing someone. It took a lot of help from Emma and Hope for MJ to get over the incident. Hope had to come to care for her like her little sister and didn't want anything happen to her. She remembered helping her through how MJ couldn't drink blood without her help or when she had nightmares about killing the Hunter which later turned out to be curse. She couldn't live with her friend and sister from another mother.

" So everyone is here. Sleeping most probably. We need to do it fast." Hope said as she talked to Bonnie. MJ came out of her and walked towards them.

" He's coming. Where is she? ''

" She is in the basement." Damon said as he came up.

" Bring her up , please. " MJ said and he obliged and Stefan followed him too. A minute later , Katherine came up with brothers. She tried the break free and run away but it didn't work because of the force sheild around the house.

She took out something in her pocket and lunged towards MJ. Unfortunately, it was the potion made for Klaus and she had successfully hit her arm. Before she could do something else, Hope made her faint and she mumbled.

" I know who you are."

" She will be down till I want her to be."

" Hope, you are getting stronger. " Bonnie praised her former student as she had taught in Salvatore School for sometime before taking up the job of being a professor.

" Hope, the potion..." MJ fell on the ground as she saw her finger turning grey. Pain was visible on her face but she was trying to ignore it. Damon picked her up and laid her down on a couch.

" I have something." Hope walked to her room and came back with something.

" Drink this." She handed it to , MJ who couldn't feel her hand at this point and somehow drank the whole thing. In a minute, her fingers turned normal and pain was gone.

" How?" MJ said as she examined her fingers.

" Lizzie and I have been working on this since the potion had disappeared. Thankfully, it works but it may have some side effects. "

" Thanks, Lizz... " MJ said as she grew unconscious and it sounded like she was snoring.

" Did you add chamomile or valerian root for the substitute of lavender. " Bonnie asked as she touched MJ's forehead and she felt for a vampire.

" Yeah. We added both of them instead of lavender. "

" She is going to be asleep for some time then. Take 6-7 hours. " Bonnie said as she got some covers on MJ.

" What do we then? " Hope asked.

" Let her sleep. Ritual won't be happening till the full moon and we should do what we have to do. " Bonnie replied as she got some book.

" Let's get to work. Sam!" He came forward as soon as he heard his name and saluted her , gaining an irritated look and eye roll from her , making Hope slightly grin.

Unknownst to everyone in the room, they hadn't realise where Stefan was since yesterday and unfortunately for them ,this would turn out to be disastrous for him and his family.

Sorry, guys. I have been busy with stuff that's happening. One thing I can say is that I am going to complete this story because that's the main intention and one of the reasons I started to write this fanfic is because of the ending I had in mind.Don't forget to drop a review.
