Well, that was a nice breakfast for our favorite couple; what'd you guys think? Let me know in the comments and give me some ideas for what you guys want to see in conversations. This story will (due to the circumstances) will have less sexual time. So, it means more time for long conversations that I can write for you guys. Hope you guys can think of what you guys might want from me, as I can't wait to see what you guys have in store for me; heck, what I have in store for this story.

Chapter Four

The house was now dark as the couple stood outside the place they've called home for the past couple years, all locked up and ready for them to rent it out over the next couple weeks. And even better, their landlord representative (and his girlfriend) ended up making their way here to their place before they left. He wasn't actually sure whether or not he'd be able to see his best friend before he left, but Matt was glad that he was able to see Kelly before they left; and Gabby felt the same way when it came to Stella. As much as she would've been fine with them just calling every once and a while, she would much rather just have one last conversation; and that was exactly what the best friends were in the midst of doing inside the RV. At the same time, Matt just finished locking up and was now walking over to his wife (and their best friends) so that they could have one last conversation before they leave; and so that Matt could give Kelly a certain folder. And just what might be in said folder? The documents for the Airbnb, and how he needs to set up the house in between each stay. He needs to make sure that the house looks a certain way when the new tenant comes to stay for a while, it's a need.

And he just hopes that his friend can, as a good friend, make sure that he takes care of the place. And, if something happens, that he calls him as soon as possible. But, he knows that his friend will do just that; he just hopes that he doesn't need to come back. But if he does, then that's fine; and they can figure out a way to get here as fast as possible, which also making it part of their journey. Who knows, maybe that might be the most exciting part of their journey; them finding ways to rush back to Chicago. But right now, that was not what he was concentrating on; as he's more excited to just get out of here with Gabby. Walking up to Kelly, Matt smiled at him. "I swear, I really hope that I made the right choice in choosing you instead of my sister or Antonio." Kelly laughed a bit when he heard Matt say that, nodding as he looked at his friend. "How worried are you right now that I'm going to screw up?" Matt sighed when his friend asked him that. "I hate to say this man but…" Kelly then put his hand up, not really wanting to hear what he has to say; this being due to the fact that he wants to believe that his friend will trust him explicitly for the entire time that they're away. "So, how long's the trip?"

Matt took a breath when he heard his friend ask him that (again), as he wasn't exactly sure. "The truth is, me and Gabby aren't sure yet as to how long we'll be gone. We don't want to be put on a schedule, and we just want to have fun with each other." Kelly agreed with me when I said that, smiling at me. "And you promise to invite us at some point?" Matt agreed with his best friend when he asked him if, just like he promised before, that he plans on inviting him to join them at some point (which is definitely something that he plans on doing). "I will, because then I can get you to bring us money both from the Airbnb; and you can also bring us cheques from Molly's." Kelly agreed with his best friend when he said that, well aware of the fact that he was worried about money. "Man, you're going to be fine when it comes to money. Remember that you're going to have fun." Matt nodded, agreeing with his best friend when he said that. "Trust me, I am well aware of the fact that me and Gabby are going to have fun." He then went ahead and gave him a smirk, thinking of her sexy lingerie. Recognizing the smirked, Kelly laughed. "God, she's wearing some…isn't she?" Matt just looked at his best friend.

"No comment." Kelly nodded, agreeing with his captain when he said that; especially due to the fact that he basically just asked his best friend if his wife was wearing lingerie for him (which is really exactly what he did). "You're not happy that I asked you that question, are you?" Matt shook his head when Kelly asked him whether he was happy about the fact that he just asked him that question, which he isn't. I mean, that's not really something that he wants to share with his best friend; I mean, she's HIS wife…and the lingerie is for him, not his best friend. "I don't want to have to have this conversation with you ever again." Kelly agreed with his best friend when he said that, smiling as they are both really happy in their relationships. "I can see that you and Gabby are already in a much better place than you guys were in the past." Matt agreed with his best friend when he said that, smiling as that was the truth. He's in a much better place then he's ever been in a while with Gabby; and that makes him happy, that they're in such a good place. "I love it, and I'm glad that we're in such a good place." Kelly agreed with his best friend when he said that, loving the sight of that smile on his face. "Well, I'm glad that you and Gabby are in a better place, as it means that I get my friend back in all of his happy self." Matt agreed.

"Her coming back from Puerto Rico has really made me very happy, and it feels like we're back in that stage of dating; getting to know each other all over again, and I believe that's exactly what we need to do right now. It's what I want, and I'm so glad that it's what we're going to be doing for the next couple months." Kelly agreed with his best friend when he said that, smiling due to the fact that he knew just how depressed he got when Gabby was gone for months on end. So, for her to be back is incredible, and it was exactly what Matt needed to feel better. "I hope that you guys at least try and not make me all jealous over the fact that you guys are in the warm down south." Matt laughed when he heard Kelly say that, knowing that he's going to be jealous at times that he's in Florida. "You can always come join us at times man, just take some furlough and let us know; we'll book an Airbnb or something, and we can split the cost." Kelly agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling as that sounds like a great idea. The four of them getting together somewhere warm where they can relax together. "Maybe I can come over for the New Year, and then the Super Bowl." Matt smirked, agreeing with him.

"Oh, that's a plan. That just sounds perfect, and exactly what we're going to want from you guys; and you can even bring us clothes and stuff when you come." Kelly laughed. "And your laundry too?" Matt shrugged. "Is that you offering to do laundry for us." Kelly shook his head when he heard Matt say that, well aware of the fact that he just walked right into that one. "I just walked right into that one, didn't I?" Matt smirked when his friend asked him that, putting his hand on his shoulder. "Yep, you did. Just promise me that you don't get hurt or anything; I would like to enjoy this time away that me and Gabby are taking. And I would rather not have to drive all the way to Chicago if we're in Miami or something. I'm thinking that we're going to try and stay down south for a while. Stay some places for a couple days, weeks at a time. Not sure yet to tell you the truth." Kelly agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling at him. "Well, I'm glad that you guys are doing this. I know that you're a bit worried for your marriage." Matt took a breath and sighed, agreeing with his best friend. "Yeah, I am unfortunately. But, I have a feeling that this trip will make a world of a different; and it'll keep me married."

Kelly agreed with his best friend when he said that, well aware of the fact that he's worried about that. "You're still worried about that, aren't you?" Matt took a breath as he turned to look at his best friend, nodding as he asked him whether he's still worried about the fact that…there are still times whether he wonders if they're going to stay married. "And I hate that I feel that way, as it makes me paranoid to think that way." Kelly agreed with his best friend when he said that, smiling as he went to grab his hand. "Man, I promise that everything will work out in the best way possible. You guys are going to have a blast on this trip, and I already know that you guys are both going to be beaming with glee when you guys come back from this trip that is both well deserve, and well needed for the both of you guys; you should've really taken away a long time ago, I mean you haven't even taken her on a honeymoon yet." Matt snickered a bit when he heard Kelly say that, well aware that's a fact; as he actually pointed that out to Gabby as he tried to convince her to take this trip with him. "Yeah, that was part of my pitch to Gabby; that we haven't even taken a honeymoon trip yet, and that we need to take one."

Kelly agreed with his friend when he said that, smiling. "Then you have fun, and just enjoy yourself; remember why you're doing this. You're doing this so that you guys can reconnect and just have fun with each other. Oh, and make sure that you get a tan for me. I know that I am not going to be getting a tan anytime soon, so you can get one for me." Matt laughed when his friend said that, hearing the jealousy in his voice. "Man, you can always come see us in Florida. Just call us, and we can make sure that we're there. Or, call us and ask us where we are; and then you can come join us. We can park in a hotel for a while. Heck, I was thinking of booking us hotels too." Kelly was shocked when he heard Matt say that. "Really?" Matt nodded. "We're going to New York City at some point, and I want to book a nice suite there; a suite where I can give her some romance." Kelly agreed with his friend when he said that. "You're going to spoil her, aren't you?" Matt agreed with him when he asked him whether he's going to spoil his wife. "Oh, don't you know it. She's going to enjoy this trip so much, that I'm not sure that she's even going to want to come home." Kelly laughed when he heard his friend say that.

"Well, you better come back at some point; we're going to need our Captain at some point." Matt agreed with him when he said that, smiling at him. "Well, all I know is that I am going to be in Florida on December 6th. I want to celebrate my anniversary in the sun." Kelly agreed with his friend when he said that, smiling. "Then good luck with the I-95 traffic. You said that you guys have plans to go to New York City first right?" Matt shook his head. "We changed it. We're going to Boston. Might go through Canada, and then make our way down to Boston. After that, we can go all the way down I-95 to Miami from Boston. I know, long way…but we did bring our passports just in case." Kelly agreed with him when he said that. "Well then, that sounds like a lot of fun." That's when Matt heard Gabby speak to him. "Do you really want to go through Canada?" Matt turned to look at his wife when she asked him that, smiling. "I'm leaving it up to you." Gabby smiled, agreeing with Matt as he told her that he was going to leave it up to her if they decide to go to Canada or not.

And the truth was, them visiting Canada does seem interesting. "Well, we can definitely talk about that on our way our of town." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling. "You ready to get out of here?" Gabby smirked when Matt asked her whether she's ready to leave on their trip. And the truth was, as much as she loved their best friends, she was ready to leave. She wanted to get out of here, and she wanted to go see North America. It sounds like a lot of fun, and she and Matt are really going to enjoy themselves. Going to give his best friend one last hug, Matt smiled. "Listen, me and Gabby are going to want one last moment along." Kelly agreed with his best friend when he said that, smiling. "I promise, we'll give you that after I hug Gabby." Matt agreed with his best friend when he said that, watching as he proceeded to walk over to his wife so that he can give her a hug. "God, it's going to be weird not having the both of you around."

Stella agreed with her boyfriend when he said that, smiling as she walked over to Matt. "And it's going to be weird not having you on Truck." Matt agreed with Stella when she said that, smiling as he went to hug her. "Don't worry, I think you guys are really going to like Pelham. I talked to him, and gave him the run down; he seemed like a nice guy, and you're going to enjoy him on truck 81." Stella agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling as she went to grab his hand. "Please, just give Gabby a baby for crying out loud." Matt sighed. "I promise, we'll try our best. No pressure." Stella agreed with her Captain when he said that, smiling as she went to give him another hug. After all, that was what they both needed to do right now. They needed to share some hugs, as they were going to be leaving for a while. And it was bittersweet, as she was both going to miss them; yet, at the same time, she's glad that they're doing this…as she knows that they need to do this.

Matt's POV:
Making my way into the RV with Gabby once both Kelly and Stella left, I smiled when I saw her leaning against the counter where I want her to be. After all, I do want to share one last kiss with her. But first, I need to lock up the door and just make sure that we take it easy. Locking the door behind me, I smiled as I looked at Gabby and walked over to her. "So, Stella told me to give you a baby." Gabby laughed a bit when she heard me say that, watching as I walked over to her. I then went ahead and stood right in front of her at the counter, wrapping my arms around her. Meanwhile, Gabby put her hands on my arms and then leaned up to kiss me softly. "Sorry about that." I shook my head when Gabby said that, proceeding to push a strand of hair behind her ear. "You're passionate about us having a baby, and I love that about you. Just, maybe calm down a bit." Gabby agreed with me when I said that, smiling as I put my hand on the side of her face this morning.

God, I am so ready to leave and just be alone with the woman I love; oh, and I'm ready to make love to her in so many different places. I'm determined to (maybe) make love to her once in each and every state. "Okay, so I have a goal for this trip that I want to tell you about." Gabby agreed with me when I said that. "Oh, and what's that?" I smirked at her. "I want to make love to you once in each state." Gabby laughed, smirking as I told her what I want to do. I then put my hand on the side of her face once again, leaning in to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with each other, I smiled due to the fact that I really love my wife. "We already did it in the state of Illinois." I smirked, agreeing with Gabby when she told me that. "By the way, I want to let you know that we're not just going to live here in the RV. There are times where I want to stay in hotels. Like New York City, I want to stay in nice hotels." Gabby agreed with me when I said that. "I love that idea."

Gabby smiled. "And when we go to Las Vegas, I want to do the same. Maybe we can even do a vow renewal in Las Vegas?" I thought about it, smiling as that was a really good idea. "I love that idea, we can find a chapel and do it there." Gabby agreed with me when I said that. She then got nice and close me to, wrapping her arms me nice and tight. Afterwards, I proceeded to kiss her forehead; smiling at my girl as I love her more than anything in the entire world. Afterwards, I looked down at her and just smirked as I bent down and proceeded to kiss her softly. "I love you." Gabby agreed with me when I told her that I love her. "I love you too Matt, and I'm ready to get out of here." I agreed with Gabby when she said that. "And I'm ready to start all of our conversations." Gabby agreed with me when I said that. She then laid her head down on my chest as we cuddled up to each other. Meanwhile, I kissed her forehead once again. "First destination?"

Gabby smiled as she looked up at me. "Boston via Canada." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that, smiling as I really like that idea. "I can't wait to see that; it'll be a lot of fun. Just know that we can stop wherever you want." Gabby agreed with me when I told her that, smiling at me. "I love that idea. Means that we can make it spontaneous." I agreed with Gabby when she said that. "Almost means that we can agree to have sex whenever we want to have sex." Gabby laughed when I said that, smiling at me when I said that. She then proceeded to grab my hand, looking at me as she was really happy at the moment. And the truth was, so was I. And I am so glad that this what we decided to do, as it's long overdue. "Sorry it took us so long to do this." Gabby agreed with me when I said that, smiling at me. She then put her hands on my chest, stepping close to me before leaning in and kissing me softly. "What do you say we got out of here? Then we can just leave?"

I nodded, agreeing with Gabby when she asked me that before smirking as I moved my hands to her butt. I then brought her body against mine and went ahead with kissing her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman of my dreams, I smirked as she truly is very sexy; and there is nothing more that I want to do other than kiss her right now. "I love you." Gabby agreed with me as I told her that I love her. "I love you too baby, and I'm glad that we're out of here now." I agreed with Gabby, smirking as she told me that she's glad that we're out of here. "I promise, we can leave whenever you go sit down." Gabby agreed with me when I said that, smiling as she knew that I didn't really want to go sit down. Rather, I was quite comfortable here with Gabby in my arms. At the same time, I did know that I need to just take it easy and relax with the woman of my dreams. We both need to relax, and we also need to get out of Chicago to get on our trip right now.

"Let's get in our seats, then we can get out of here baby." I smirked, agreeing with Gabby as we went to do just that.

Gabby's POV:
Once me and Matt were both sitting in our seats this morning, I smirked as I knew that we've both been waiting for this for a while, we want to get out of here and just have fun with each other. We don't want to wait any longer than we have to get out of here. We just want to go have fun, and that's exactly what I plan on doing with my loving husband; having fun with him for the rest of my life. And I just hope that Matt knows for a fact that I can't wait for us to be together for the rest of our lives, as it's exactly what I want. I want to be with him until the day I die. Going to buckle up this morning, I smiled as I turned to look at Matt. "I'm shocked you didn't touch my blouse today." Matt laughed when I said that, going to grab the keys to the RV. "Trust me, I was tempted; but I knew that I needed to concentrate so that we could get where we want to go. New York City today?" I shook my head. "Boston via Canada. First place we go is Ann Arbor." Matt agreed with me.

"Then let's get out of here." I agreed with Matt when he told me that, smiling as we both got ready to start our trip.
