Hi Readers: That last one was a long one wasn't it? I hope you enjoyed how long the chapter was, because I put a bunch of work into that chapter. It takes a while to think about what I want to write in chapters. I mean, you have to admit that this isn't easy for everybody. But now, we're coming up to the middle of our first day on the road; if you have ideas for me, please send them my way. But first, please write me a message asking me for the next destination.

Chapter Six - The First Stop: Ann Arbor, Michigan
Michigan Stadium aka The Big House, University of Michigan

The couple both smiled as they finished picking up some Subway while making their way to Michigan Stadium on the University of Michigan Campus here in Ann Arbor where Matt and Gabby are going to take a walk (and stretch a bit) during this, their first stop of many on their road trip that will be taking them all around the country. And that was exciting. But something that was even more exciting for Matt, was how Gabby was currently in the midst of taking a picture of him in front of the stadium (which unfortunately, you can't go into). But still, Matt was just okay with them standing right close to it. It was still a historic sight to see, and he was glad to just get close to the stadium. Stadiums aren't made like this anymore, and they both know that's a fact; in fact, it even impressed Gabby when it came to how big the stadium is. And for there not to be any roof here in Ann Arbor (which she can only assume has just as cold of a winter as Chicago) is impressive, especially considering thousands of people gather here on could nights in the fall to watch football. But that's just something that people do to celebrate their teams. Still, it's nice that Gabby agreed to take a picture of him near it.

He wasn't sure if he was going to sound crazy for wanting to do it, but she said that he wasn't considering it's a huge stadium. In fact, Gabby now wants to take a picture with her loving husband. "Thanks for taking a picture of me. I know it's a bit weird." Gabby shook her head when he said that. "Nope, I'm not going to judge when you are very happy in front of this place. And now, I have a question for you." Matt nodded. "What is it?" Gabby smirked. "Can you take one of the both of us?" Matt was a bit shocked when he heard Gabby say that. She wants him to take a picture, of her in front of the stadium. "You want to have a picture in front of the stadium?" Gabby smiled as she walked over to her man, giving his phone back to him. "Well, not exactly." Matt just looked at Gabby when she said that. "Then what do you want?" Gabby smiled at her man. "I want to take a picture with my husband, in front of the stadium." Matt smirked when he heard Gabby say that, agreeing with her. He then watched as she walked over to him so that they can take a picture together, which he can't wait to do. He wants to take a bunch of pictures together along their journey, most of them with them sharing a kiss.

And the truth was, that definitely was something that Matt wanted to do as well. Share a bunch of kisses with his beautiful wife; the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world, and whom he wants to be married to forever. Now, time for her to join him in the picture. "I want to take a picture together in every city that we stop in, so that we can show our kids that we did travel before; and that we aren't boring. I can already see them saying that we were boring." Matt laughed, agreeing with Gabby when she said that, watching her walk over to him. She then went ahead and gave Matt his phone so that he can look at the picture that she took of him. Going to look at it, Matt smiled. "Hey, that's a nice picture." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that. "Thanks." She then smiled as she turned to look up at her loving husband. Putting his hand on her ass, Matt smirked as he squeezed it; and that made Gabby jump. "Okay, now that wasn't right." Matt laughed and just smiled at his beautiful wife, really glad that they are already having this much fun with each other. "Oh relax baby, and laugh for me. You have to admit that you like it when I squeeze your ass at times, you liked it at the firehouse."

Gabby smiled, agreeing with Matt when he told her that; well aware that was the truth, especially when they started dating. "I have to say, that was a lot of fun. When we first started dating." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling as he proceeded to wrap his arm around Gabby nice and tight. Afterwards, she wrapped her arms around his body and just smirked as she moved her arm around his back. Putting her hand on his chest. He then tugged the body against his as he wrapped his arm around her waist, making sure that the two of them stayed close to each other. Gabby then grabbed the back of his head and smiled as she took things nice and slow with her man. "I love you." Matt agreed with Gabby when she told him that she loves him. "I love you too, forever." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling as they are both very happy with each other. "So, where's next?" Matt laughed. "Right now, I want to go eat in the RV." Gabby agreed. "But Detroit is next. However, I don't think we're going to stop; I mean, unless you want to stop in Detroit?" Gabby smiled.

"I'm not sure, all I Know is that I'm glad that you ended up driving. I'm not sure if I would've had the patience to stay behind that truck." Matt laughed when he heard Gabby say that, able to see that she would easily pass that guy if she got a chance. He then wrapped his arm around her once again, really glad that this is what they're in the midst of doing; this trip is already amazing, and he's glad that they're doing this. "What do you say me and you go ahead with making our way back into the RV now?" Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling as he wants to eat. "Oh, I see; you'd rather go eat rather than explore the university." Matt laughed when he heard Gabby say that, reaching for her hand. Gabby then went ahead and grabbed his hand, intertwining their fingers in the process as she wants to go back to the RV so that they can eat their lunch together. "By the way, if you dare touch my cookies…" Matt just laughed when he heard Gabby say that. "What, you aren't going to love me anymore? Sorry babe, but I think that train left the station a long time ago." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, well aware that's the case as well. God, he really is the love of her life.

"I hope you know that, even when I'm mad you baby; you're still the love of my life." Matt nodded when she told him that, proceeding to turn his head so that he can leave a kiss on her forehead. "Of course I know that Gabby, I know that because I feel the same way. Even when we're in fights, I will always believe that you're the love of my life; that's just a fact that I will never be able to deny. So, I don't expect you to change who the love of your life is just because we're in a fight. I mean, unless we had kids…then I could easily see you changing your mind." Gabby laughed, agreeing with Matt as he said that. "I can definitely see us having kids, as it's going to be a lot of fun to raise them." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, moving his hand to her butt. "Just curious, can I actually talk to you about something about that? I wanted to say it when we first brought it up; but I also don't want to hurt you at the same time." Gabby looked at Matt when he said that. "If you're going to hurt me…" Matt sighed. "I don't know if it's going to hurt you, so that's why I'm worried." Gabby agreed with her husband when he said that. "Oh, so that's why we didn't talk about it yet." Matt agreed. "I want to hold you."

Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, clearly able to see why he wants to talk to her while they aren't driving now, as he wants to hold her as a way to make sure that she's okay; and that she knows that he's here for her. "I understand baby. And we can definitely talk about it, I promise." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, ready to talk about kids a bit more. The reason she wants to talk about it more. It's due to the fact that she wants to know whether he's really going to be okay if she gets pregnant. She's just worried about how he'll react. She started to think about it, and whether he's going to be excited; because that's how she wants him to react. And the truth is, she already knows that he's going to be excited; but she just wonders whether he's going to show it, or whether he's going to show her that he's scared. That's something that's really worrying her, and it's why she wants to talk to him about it. So, let's get to that conversation to get it over with.

She and Matt were currently in the midst of sitting together in the booth, with her ready to talk to Matt about what she has on her mind; but she just hasn't brought it up to Matt yet, as she's a bit nervous over what he's going to say. And she means it, she's deathly afraid of what the man she loves is going to say. She just doesn't want him to think that she's going to obsess about it, but she will. She knows that it's going to happen, because it's been on her mind for too long. She just wants to make him a father, and it's something that she can't wait to tell him is going to happen; but she also wants him to know how he's going to react ahead of time. She just wants to prepare herself. God, she just hopes that he can promise her that he's going to react okay. Looking up at his wife, Matt could tell that she was nervous; reaching over for her hand, Matt smiled as he grabbed it before stroking her hand. "Hey, what's wrong baby? Talk to me. You said that you have something on your mind, and you said you wanted to talk to me." Gabby just sighed, looking at him. "And you've barely ate."

Gabby sighed as she looked at the man she loves. "I'm sorry, I just feel like things have changed so fast today. Just months ago, you weren't okay with getting me pregnant; now you seem that you might be open to it, so that's a little scary I guess." Taking a bite of his sub, Matt looked at his wife. "Why would it be scary when it's everything that you've wanted." Gabby sighed as she went ahead, going to take another bit of her sandwich. "It's not the hypothetical pregnancy that I'm worried about, it's the reaction that you might give to me." Matt then realized what she's talking about, how he might react to the fact that she's pregnant; and that's a valid idea that she may be worried about. Going to take another bite of his sub, Matt looked at his beautiful wife. "Do you want to take a break from driving for a bit? If you want to stay here for a bit, we can. We're just going to Toledo now, and then Cleveland." Gabby took a breath when Matt asked her that. "Can we just do it?"

Matt nodded, agreeing with his wife. "Let's do it then. So, you're worried about my reaction?" Gabby nodded as her husband asked her that. "Yeah, that's what I'm trying to say. I guess, that's really on my mind." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, looking at her. "The truth is, I think that I would be happy at first; then I would be concerned." Gabby then got quiet, taking a breath. "Gabby, I'm sorry; but I know you want the truth." Gabby nodded, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "Yeah, I do want the truth. I guess, it's just a bit hard to hear." Matt then proceeded to grab Gabby's hand. "Do you want to sit together on the couch before we go ahead and keep going? I think that would be a good idea, as you know what happens if we don't do it." Gabby looked up at Matt when he told her that. "What's going to happen?" Matt laughed when Gabby asked him that. "You're going to obsess about everything that I could say." Gabby agreed with her husband when he said that, smiling at him. "You know me so well." Matt nodded, before taking a breath.

"Well, I hope I do." Gabby just looked at Matt when he said that. "Hey, you do know me Matt." Matt nodded. "I know I do. But, at times…I feel like I don't know you the best as I could. I question stuff sometimes." Gabby agreed with her husband when he said that, moving to grab his hand; stroking it with her thumb, Gabby just smiled at him. "Baby, I know that you try and do everything you can to make sure that you do whatever you can to make sure that we have a healthy marriage. And I know that we've been through a lot recently. But we're still here. The truth is, there were times this summer; times where I didn't know if we'd still be here." Matt was a bit shocked when he heard Gabby say that. "Really?" Gabby nodded. "Baby, I ran away from you…and our marriage. Heck, there were times where I was waiting for divorce papers." Matt shook his head when he heard Gabby say that. "Hey, I am not there yet; nor do I believe that I will ever get there, because I love you."

Matt then proceeded to get up, smiling as he leaned over his beautiful wife. Bending down, Matt smirked as he kissed her softly. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that. "I love you too. Now, how about we eat up so that we can get out of here?" Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling as he's glad that they're on this trip together.

Gabby's POV:
Sitting in the driver's seat of the RV, I smiled as I felt the warmth that came out of the steering wheel; still in shock over the fact that the steering wheel is heated. I mean, what are the odds that a steering wheel can be heated? It's cool, and I have to say that I love the fact that it's nice. But, at the same time, I want Matt to drive because he's the man. Walking out of the washroom this afternoon, Matt smiled as he walked up behind me before smiling; he then bent down while standing right behind me, kissing my neck softly. Oh, now that feels nice. "I like this sight in front of me." I agreed with Matt when he said that. "You sure that you don't want to drive? I don't mind sitting in the passenger seat if you want to drive for a while." I thought about it, taking a breath when Matt asked me that as I'm a bit nervous. "I'm not sure if I want to do it, it's a bit daunting." Matt agreed with me when I said that. "So, you want me to keep driving?" I agreed with Matt as I got up.

Afterwards, I turned to face my loving husband, getting close to him before putting my hands on his chest. I then felt him put his hands on my arms and smiled at me. Leaning up, I proceeded to kiss him softly and just took things nice and slow with the man of my dreams. God, I love him so much; and I am so glad that this is what we're doing right now. "What do you say we get out of here? Then, we can keep having fun with each other as we drive." Matt agreed with me when I said that, smiling as we're both ready to keep going to Detroit, Toledo and Cleveland; Cleveland being where we're (planning) to stay the night. "Listen, promise me something Matt?" Matt nodded. "What is it baby?" I sighed. "If you get tired, then let's just pull over and find a place to rest for the night." Matt agreed with me when I said that, smiling at me. "I think that we'll be able to get to Cleveland. It's only 3 and a half hours on the route that we're going to drive, and we can stop in Detroit."

Matt smiled. "Do you want to stop at the MGM Grand Detroit? Do some gambling?" I laughed when Matt asked me that. "I'm not sure yet. I think that we need to save our money though. In fact, don't we need gas?" Matt agreed with me when I asked him whether we need gas. "Yeah, we'll get some gas on the way. I'll make sure to fill us up on our way out of town." I agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling as I'm glad that's what we're going to do that. "I love the sound of that. Now, let's get going." Matt agreed with me when I said that, smiling as we both went ahead to walk away from each other; afterwards, I went ahead and went to sit down on my seat. At the same time, Matt proceeded to get in his seat. Afterwards, Matt went to buckle up, just smiling at me as he turned his head. Meanwhile, I turned my head as well and looked at the man of my dreams. "You happy that we did this?" Matt was shocked when I asked him that. "Of course I am baby."

I nodded, smiling at the man of my dreams before reaching for his hand; I then stroked it and just smiled due to the fact that this is a lot of fun. "Let's get out of here, I want to make our way to Cleveland. We said that we were going to stay the night there right?" Matt shrugged. "By the way, I'm glad we decided to go to Canada too." I agreed with Matt when he said that. "Calm down baby, that's not for months after all." Matt agreed with me when I said that, smiling. "Now, how about we continue to make our way to Toledo." I agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling due to the fact that we're ready for this. We're both ready to head to Cleveland via Detroit and Toledo.
