Happy reading!
When did it start? She doesn't know. All she knew was that she was always fond of her ever since she could remember. They were the same age and her father was the king, naturally as a daughter of a general she was often brought to the castle as the young princess' playmate. They were inseparable and would cause mayhem to the castle staff like any little kids would do.
Years later the arrival of royal cousins from another kingdom happened and this got the princess preoccupied since the said cousins were unconscious and were on the brink of death. One of the cousins passed away, and Cassandra understood how much attention Elsa needed as a young child. However she couldn't help but to feel displaced in the princess' life. That goes on for a year until Cassandra herself was forced to interact with the royal cousin with Rapunzel's insistence.
She didn't particularly like nor disliked Elsa, she tolerated her at best for Rapunzel. As years went by, the three of them were inseparable.
A certain memory tickled Cassandra's mind, made her heart flutters as she remembered it. It was when she was about the age of nineteen.
-Ten years ago-
They were in the countryside, it was summer and the King and Queen allowed the cousins and a guest to spend their time away from court for about two months, and those two months were one of the happiest memories they had.
Cassandra was of course included with the three royals, and the three distant relatives of the Duchess - or rather- Princess Elsa. Addressing the royal cousin had caused confusion in the court since her father was a Duke and therefore should be addressed as a Duchess but King Frederic insisted on addressing the Vinter girl as Princess since Duchess Iduna was his sister and therefore Elsa was a royal princess in Corona.
Both Coronan Princesses requested this vacation because they had promised to their royal guest they would bring her here, the manor house by the sea.
Cassandra watched Princess Rapunzel entertain her guest on the balcony, regaling her with stories, their childhood stories and their mischief. She could only smile as she sat under the shade of the tree. The Coronan Princess was and always been a cheerful one as if all the light in the world came from her, like she's the sun. Her long golden hair only amplified the metaphor, and those viridescent eyes of hers that reminded Cassandra of lush fields.
She couldn't even forget how those eyes looked at her with such warmth and kindness. All she could do was stare at them whenever she had the chance, earning playful remarks of how she spaced out for a moment and that would surely be followed by a bell-like chuckle or laughter from the princess she admired for a long time.
Her admiration for the princess wasn't limited to her beauty, she admired Princess Rapunzel's courage for standing up to her father, the King, whenever he was being harsh on her cousin. Speaking up for Princess Elsa's defense despite knowing what her father could do whenever he was angry. Also her pure heart filled with kindness for her people by helping them and finding various solutions to solve problems in the long run, instead of having people relying on just help. She educated people on how to stand on their own two feet.
Princess Rapunzel had all what a Queen should embody.
"Can't help but to stare at her huh?"
Cassandra whipped her head in the voice's direction.
"I don't know what you mean." Cassandra responded.
"Sure," said the person.
"What about you then Your Highness, our royal guest clings to you at every opportunity she gets." Cassandra smirked.
"She's always been like that, their people are affectionate and didn't have to hide it in public. And Cass if you call me Your Highness again I'll have you clean the stables and armory for weeks once we get back."
Cassandra chuckled. "Of course that's your favorite way of punishing people, Captain Elsa."
"And don't assume Princesa and I have something going on, it might give my cousin ideas."
"Then her calling you my darling and you calling her your flower weren't something to fuss about?" Cassandra grinned.
"As I've said it was normal for them to address such people who are close to them, don't overthink it." Elsa shrugged. "And don't think I am not noticing your glances towards my cousin. I know those particular looks, I've seen them on how men in court look at the women they fancy."
"Again, I don't know what you're talking about." Cassandra denied her obvious affection towards the Princess.
"Whatever you say but know this, I prefer you far more than any men in court to look at my cousin that way because I know you have no bad intentions towards her." Elsa smiled and patted Cassandra's shoulder.
This surprised Cassandra and looked at Elsa with wide eyes.
"Don't worry I won't tell anyone." Elsa assured her.
Cassandra was about to respond when laughter reached her ears, that particular laughter that lifted her soul.
Both her and Elsa looked up and saw both princesses having the time of their lives.
Cassandra couldn't help but smile.
"Thank you." she said.
"You're a dear friend Cass-"
"Elsa! Mi Corazón, come join us here!" the foreign princess called from the balcony and waved at them.
"You too Cass!" Rapunzel called.
"We'll be right up!" Elsa waved back. "Come or else they would keep on calling us."
"True." Cassandra chuckled as she stood up then they walked towards the manor house. Soon a smirk formed on her lips. "So. . . she called you my heart today, are you sure there's nothing going on?"
Elsa glared at Cassandra.
"Goodness I am just kidding!"
"Remind me again why I taught you her language."
"Because you wouldn't want her to feel left out and alone in case she visits again. . ."
"Good-"
". . . and also because you're such a sweetheart that you care for your beautiful flower soooo much-ouch!" Cassandra's dramatic words were cut off by the elbow that hit her side. "That actually hurts!"
"As I intended." Elsa said flatly.
Cassandra chuckled.
-End of Flashback-
That summer was truly unforgettable because that's the time when she openly acknowledged her feelings towards the princess and was supported by Elsa herself. She hoped there would be more days, months and years like that certain summer, however it all changed when the alliance between the King of Corona and the Vinter retainers was finalized and had started the preparation of the invasion.
All the three of them had to focus and prepare for what was about to come, and it didn't help the multiple assassination attempts on Elsa and Rapunzel's life. That was the time a certain man came and disrupted their lives, a certain man whom she hated in every fiber of her being. Even though he was an enemy, she couldn't do anything about it because it would hurt her princess' heart. She then decided not to tell anything at all, and had distanced herself by accepting to be one of the Queen's guards instead of the princess'.
Being the Queen's guard and personal spy had exposed her to a lot of things. The things so sensitive that it could ruin a household, kill a person, ruin diplomatic relationships between neighboring kingdoms and lastly ruin familial relationships.
And recently she had crossed the line and broken someone's trust because she chose her duty.
"-sandra? Are you listening?"
Cassandra snapped out of her thoughts and looked at the person who she held dear. "I was distracted for a moment. You were saying?"
The princess stared at her for a few seconds.
"Are you okay?"
"Perfectly fine. Just thinking about how Elsa is doing." Cassandra said.
"I hope she's okay since she's stuck with that woman for weeks." Rapunzel sighed.
"That bad?" Cassandra's eyebrow raised.
"Hmm let's see." Rapunzel faux pondered. "They were constantly at each other's throats, disagreed on everything, they loathed each other, what else? Ah my father and the other nobles asked my cousin to force herself on the woman. I can see a marriage that would last a lifetime." her tone was dripping with sarcasm.
"Surely Elsa didn't. . .did she?"
"Of course she didn't or else I would never forgive her and leave this place at a moment's notice." She picked up a lilac envelope with the opened orchid wax seal. "And Señorita Perfecta might lose her temper and strangle Elsa."
Cassandra nodded in agreement. "Speaking of Princesa, would she really visit Arendelle?"
"Yes." Rapunzel answered as she opened the secret compartment of her jewelry box. Inside it were the letters her dreamers sent her and a vine motif silver ring with three small lilac colored diamonds embedded on the centers of three orchid flowers. The ring was secured by a silver chain necklace.
Cassandra was looking at the ring.
"Wait, that's-"
"Yeah, she gave it to me for safe keeping. I haven't had the opportunity to return it."
"Hm." Cassandra hummed.
Series of knocks prompted Rapunzel to close their jewelry box.
"Vlad?" Rapunzel called.
"Let me." Cassandra opened the door. "Vlad, what is the matter?" her eyes then found the reason of disturbance at this time of the night.
It was him. Flynn Ryder.
Cassandra got out and closed the door behind her.
"What do you want?" she asked.
"My men had sent missives from the north." he raised the parchments containing the reports.
Cassandra held out her hand. "Give them to me."
"I apologize, I was asked to only give the reports directly to Her Royal Highness." Flynn said coldly.
Rage filled Cassandra the moment she heard those words.
"Her Royal Highness is currently indisposed. Give them to me."
"I'm afraid I can't do that."
Cassandra reached for her sword and was about to unsheathe it when a hand prevented her from doing so.
"Cass." Rapunzel said. No one noticed her getting out of the room.
"Vlad, kindly take those reports from Captain Ryder." Rapunzel ordered without making eye contact with any of them. "And next time you can hand them over to General Cassandra." she continued as she took the reports from Vladimir and went back to her room. Cassandra then followed her princess but before that she threw a withering glare to the Eldr Captain.
"Now, Lord Odin." Olaf started as he looked at the kneeling man bound in thick ropes. "You have brought shame to your namesake. Your wisdom couldn't even be compared with mindless chicken."
Lord Odin was a wealthy businessman through legal and illegal means. For years the law had turned a blind eye on the corruption of the magistrates. The said enforcers of the law accepted bribes from crook nobles and gentlemen in return they would sweep their crimes under the rug.
"How dare you! I have done nothing!" the man shouted.
"Sure". Olaf smiled at him. "However, these letters say otherwise." He raised a handful of letters with the seal of Baroness Gothel on them. "Planning to usurp the Dukedom of Eldr in exchange for lands and more gold. Then they will eventually claim the throne itself." he tutted.
Lord Odin paled.
"Ah now you know what I am talking about." Olaf said in a cheerful manner. "Good good, I hope you don't mind joining your small party of friends."
"What-" Lord Odin's words were cut off when he saw familiar faces, though he could hardly recognize them because they were bruised and bloodied everywhere. The said people were confined in metal cages and bound in thick ropes like him."
"Cooperation was not their strong suit so I had to do the gentle touch." Olaf grinned.
"Gentle. . ." Lord Odin trailed off and felt a shiver down his spine as those grinning lips didn't match the sinister look of his eyes. "Y-You're derange!"
"Oh my. A new name for me! How about we commemorate it?" Olaf unsheathed his dagger.
"No! Stay away from me! Stay awa-AAAAH!" Lord Odin screamed as the dagger slashed his left cheek. "MONSTER!" he screamed in pain.
"I'm happy to be one as long as the likes of you will no longer walk this earth." Olaf wiped the bloodied dagger on the screaming man's shirt. He turned to Lord Odin's family, his blue eyes landed on the daughters, they were also bound in thick ropes. Olaf could see faint bruises on their skin. He walked towards them and lifted his dagger.
"You want my daughter?! Take her! Take all of them, just release me!" the man said in desperation.
The young women's eyes were filled with contempt for their father and fear of the Queen's guards.
"Pathetic." Olaf glared at Lord Odin before he gave a swift move of his dagger, earning a surprise squeak from the young woman in front of him.
The rope went loose, releasing the young woman.
"May I ask for your name?" Olaf asked.
"Eilonwy."
"Miss Eilonwy, tell me. Do you wish for your father to live?"
Eilonwy looked at her father.
"Eilonwy! My darling girl. You'll save your father right? Right?!"
"No."Eilonwy said.
"How dare you! You are not my daughter! Your whore of a mother made sure of that! I shouldn't have raised you, you ungrateful bitch-ARGH!" Olaf's dagger embedded itself on the man's shoulder.
"So noisy." Olaf grumbled. "Please take that noisy man to his friends and kindly retrieve my dagger too."
"Release all the girls." Olaf ordered his men and had observed how the younger girls flinched at the contact. "We will leave you and your sisters here unscathed but if any of you try something you shouldn't do then I'll have no choice but to take you as well. Are we clear?"
"Yes Sir." Eilonwy answered. "Thank you for sparing us. We will be forever grateful." She gathered her younger sisters.
"We'll take everything your father had made through illegal means then you can keep the rest." Olaf then turned away from the girls.
One of his men handed him his dagger. "Are you sure about leaving them just like that, Sir?"
"I'll have men observe them." Olaf paused, contemplating on what he had seen on the little girls, especially the faint bruises on their skin despite the poor lighting of the torches. "They were abused by their father. He's been beating them, the way they flinch at the sudden contact from other people was a tell tale sign. Her Majesty would be having fun punishing the likes of him." he gritted his teeth. Olaf loathed men abusing women by any means.
"What a vile man," said his subordinate.
"He is-"
"Lieutenant!" a man in black cloak on horseback approached them and immediately passed a letter to Olaf.
Olaf took the letter and read it. His brows furrowed and immediately ran to his horse and ordered the following. "Half of you take those prisoners to Eldr castle discreetly! The rest of you follow me!"
"What's the matter Sir?!" Olaf's second in command asked.
"Andalasia estate was burned down." Olaf urged his horse to go faster. "Go to Eldr Castle and inform the Queen!"
"At once!" the man answered and turned his horse to the direction of the castle.
Baroness Gothel had her spies watch House Andalasia and continued to coerce them into pledging their allegiance to her sons. Andalasia might be a just lower ranking house but their noble blood could be traced from the founding of Arendelle itself. Lady Narissa's father was a Lord before becoming a Viscount, however the title didn't pass down to her since the law forbade it but there might be hope for her daughter, Lady Giselle, to inherit it if they appeal to the Queen. House Andalasia had the prestige, dignity and influence of a nobility that could help Baroness Gothel to gather more retainers to their side. It would be troublesome if those said retainers would support Lady Giselle's claim instead of her sons, hence her relentless efforts.
Ever since that dinner when she received the severed head of the assassin tasked to kill the new Duchess, most of her allies abandoned her since they knew they were found out by the royals and had severed any ties with the Baroness to save their own necks.
She tried her best to contact her other allies over and over but it seemed they all vanished into thin air. All was left to do was persuade the Andalasia matriarch to align themselves to her cause but they did the one thing she hoped they wouldn't do.
Making contact with their enemy. The Queen and the Duchess.
Baroness Gothel's spy, disguised as a maid, had informed her about the arrival of the Duchess' messenger and the contents of the letter. This had pushed the Baroness to the edge, so House Andalasia had to go one way or another.
They launched a surprise attack in the dead of night. Catching the Andalasia household off guard but to her disappointment, both noble ladies weren't included on the pile of dead bodies they left on a burning manor house. The Baroness had tasked her men to search for the traitors in the surrounding woodlands owned by Lady Narissa.
"Any sign of them?" Baroness asked from the carriage she was in as she watched the manor house being engulfed by the fire.
"No sign of them yet M'lady." a man informed her.
Baroness Gothel gritted her teeth. "Find them at all cost!"
"We will M'lady."
Northul.
Queen Yelena was having tea while reading reports from the border. There was no sign of any Arendellian resistance nor guards to guard the border.
"It seemed the Arendellians didn't care about the troops lingering in their border." Queen Yelena could shake her head at the naiveté of the new Queen of Arendelle. "There's still much to learn, little Queen."
"Grandmother?" a voice from the other side of the door reached Yelena's ears after a few soft knocks.
"Come in." Queen Yelena said and had put down the parchment on the pile in front of her.
The Northulian princess came in and closed the door behind her.
"It's late, why aren't you sleeping yet?" Queen Yelena asked.
"I'm just wondering if there's any news about possible negotiations?"
"You mean if it's still possible to have the Queen of Arendelle to be your spouse?"
Princess Honeymaren nodded.
"No. They are refusing to budge and I was told that Queen Elsa is on a royal progress. Quite reckless if you ask me, leaving the capital vulnerable from any possible attacks. Are you sure you want her to be your spouse?" Queen Yelena questioned because Queen Elsa was being complacent on the current things going on. Queen Yelena wanted to have Elsa as her granddaughter-in-law so they could rule over the entire north but the young monarch's action only proved how inexperienced she was in ruling a kingdom. She could be easily manipulated.
"Yes. Ever since I saw her few years back in Corona, I've always wanted to have her." Princess Honeymaren stated with a dreamy sigh but soon her expression morphed into such distaste.
"What's the matter?"
"Nothing. It's just that I remember a certain dark haired woman who kept on clinging to her." The princess vividly remembered how the dark haired woman placed a kiss on Elsa's cheek so casually and how she kept Elsa to herself.
Queen Yelena's interest piqued. "Dark haired woman?"
"Yes. I asked around who she was, most of them said she was Elsa's betrothed."
"Interesting." Queen Yelena mumbled. "She was betrothed to another before the Eldr girl. That would be a problem if you want her."
"Why? That was years ago and now that Eldr girl is her betrothed."
"That's true but if she's already promised to wed that dark haired woman you speak of then any wedding that would take place between her and the Eldr girl would be invalid. That means it would break the alliance of both factions." Queen Yelena stood up from her chair and started to pace.
"That would also mean I can't wed her?"
"Yes. If and only if the said betrothal is still in effect."
The Northulian princess was having none of it.
"Then how can I wed her?"
"An official document stating the breaking of engagement signed by both parties."
Queen Yelena suddenly possessed an ace she could use when the time comes.
Elsa was reading on their shared bed for the night, waiting for Anna to finish putting on her nightdress. The day had been exhausting for the both of them. After they visited the blacksmith, they had a long day walking around town and greeting people on their way. Once they were back at the castle, she had ordered the servants to serve dinner in her room to avoid those nosy men and would try to bring up the certain subject in Anna's presence. Elsa never did like being put in a situation where she could lose her temper so quickly that it might cause problems for her. However despite having dinner alone with Anna, she still didn't bring up the subject they wanted her to talk about with the Eldr Duchess.
"Hey." Anna softly called her attention as she got on the bed.
"Hey." Elsa closed the book down and placed it on the bedside table. "Tired?"
"Yeah." Anna leaned her back on the headboard. "I had fun today, thank you for inviting me." she smiled.
"I'm glad." Elsa fixed Anna's fringe.
Both of them were silent for a moment. Not knowing how to bring up the things they have in mind.
Elsa doesn't even know where to begin. She could just tell Anna but she's quite apprehensive knowing what Anna's reaction would be, she might blame herself again.
She stared at the strawberry blonde woman, she was wearing her green nightdress and her hair styled in twin plaits. A small smile graced Elsa's lips. She was falling for this woman in front of her and it frightened her but also made her feel as if she could do anything. Never in her life had expected to find love so quickly in an unexpected place and to an unexpected person.
Elsa was aware how many people wanted her for either political gain or genuine affection, but she couldn't bring herself to reciprocate since her head was filled with how she could avenge her family and how she could possibly rule a kingdom if she succeeded and the fear of losing them. There were many lost opportunities of advantageous marriages to various princesses from different kingdoms. She may not hold any affection like she has with Anna at the moment towards them, but she was sure eventually she might develop affection to whoever she might've married if the betrothal with Anna wasn't offered to her.
Despite all the possibilities, Elsa didn't like the thought.
She wanted Anna.
Only her.
Elsa subconsciously lifted her hand and cupped Anna's face.
"Elsa?"
Elsa didn't answer, instead leaned in for a kiss.
Both of them had their eyes closed as they shared a gentle kiss.
Elsa pulled away slightly and whispered the following words.
"Kjæreste, you are so beautiful."
"Thank you. And so are you." Anna leaned her forehead against Elsa's.
Elsa smiled and pulled Anna towards her by the waist and hugged her from behind. "Is this okay?" Elsa asked.
"More than okay." Anna caressed Elsa's arms as she leaned her back on Elsa's chest. Elsa responded by a kiss on Anna's nape, surprising the poor woman. "Elsa?'' She was about to turn but Elsa prevented her by latching her lips on the side of Anna's neck. "Ah."
Anna closed her eyes and bit her lower lip to prevent herself from making noises.
Elsa on the other hand peppered Anna's neck with kisses and suckling on her pulse point, earning soft whimpers and moans from Anna.
"Did I cross any line?" Elsa whispered as she kissed Anna's jawline and held her tighter.
"No." Anna turned her head and pressed a kiss on Elsa's cheek.
Elsa sighed and nuzzled on Anna's hair. "Would you like to practice on your new bow tomorrow?"
"Hm, as long as you'll teach me."
"Perfect." Elsa smiled.
Anna couldn't help but to remember the conversation they had one night ago. "Elsa about Northul. . ."
Elsa's brows automatically furrowed. "What about it?"
"I know I have no right to say any of these things but I want to say them."
"Go on." Elsa perched her chin on Anna's shoulder.
"You see, I want to help in any way I can to defend our kingdom from the likes of them. I wouldn't be able to do much but I do have a private army under my command and wealth but I don't think the council would favor me interfering with state affairs." there was hesitation there at the last part.
"What do you suggest we do?" Elsa asked.
Anna was surprised by this.
"I uhm how about we bolster our military to show them that Arendelle wouldn't be intimidated by them."
Elsa smiled at this. "How can we do that?"
"Train new recruits, fund them properly. I heard that most of the former Duke's army were just forced to fight and had no military training."
"The kingdom's treasury has barely recovered since my ascension and I haven't collected taxes from them since-" Elsa remembered her cousin's concern about the people who used her name to commit criminal acts. "I issued a royal decree that allowed people in the capital not to pay their taxes for a certain number of months for them to recover, however I received concerning news from my cousin about minor noble houses hiring thugs dressed in royal military uniforms forcibly collecting taxes using my name."
"What?" Anna's tone was filled with surprise and anger.
"It started after we left for royal progress. They took this opportunity to commit crimes against the crown since my cousin was left in charge. Rapunzel wasn't sure what to do with them but she was more than willing to punish them herself, however because she was considered a foreigner she couldn't carry out her punishments."
"What kind of punishments?" Anna asked.
"Simple ones like hanging and beheading." Elsa said casually.
"Those are the simple ones?!" Anna didn't want to hear the harsh punishments.
"Yes. And since they were nobles of Arendelle, I should carry out the punishments myself when we get back. My cousin had all the evidence we needed such as names of the nobles and would apprehend those men harassing our citizens."
"Such corruption should stop!"
"I agree with you there. We have to weed out those nobles and punish them accordingly. I wanted to go back and solve the problem but my cousin said she had it under control." Elsa sighed. "These kinds of men flourished under the usurper's rule. There was corruption everywhere, if I could just kill them without trial I assure you there would only be a quarter Arendelle nobles who would remain alive." Elsa realized she and Anna had shared the same sense of justice for their kingdom. She needed someone on her side like her so she decided to test her further.
"Do you think such punishments I mentioned are justified?" Elsa asked.
"Depends on the severity of the crime. If these nobles would receive light punishments then it would be as if we've done nothing at all. They will commit the same crime over and over."
"What do you suggest we do since they are tarnishing my name and disobeying royal order?"
Anna's brows furrowed. "I suggest stripping them of their lands and titles and grant those titles to those who are worthy and allies of the crown. Giving power to allies will be a good way of creating a power base amongst the nobles since they kept on doing whatever the hell they wanted with no regards of your authority."
Elsa was impressed. "That's all?"
"No. Those found guilty should suffer by either imprisonment, exile with nothing but the clothes on their backs, or death. As I've said it has to corresponds to the severity of their crimes but directly harming the Queen's name is unforgivable."
"Are you suggesting. . ."
"Yes. They had to be executed and be shown as examples that the authority of the crown should not be trifled with."
Elsa couldn't be more pleased. Anna would be a wonderful consort for her. Her Queen that wields power and authority. Her Queen had the same vision as her.
"But how are we going to accomplish those since as you've said they have no regard for my authority?"
"As a woman I wouldn't be able to do much since men's words are treated as if they are the law."
"But you are not just any woman. You are a Duchess in your own right. And the wife of the Queen."
Anna looked into Elsa's eyes.
"Yes. You're right but in order to do that I need to be heard. Surely those noblemen would see me as a formerly pampered princess and a young Duchess who knew nothing of politics."
"Unless you prove it to them."
"How?"
"Join the council." Elsa said casually.
"How could I? Are they going to let me?"
"I am not sure but are you aware that being a Duchess of Eldr automatically earned you a seat in the council even without their votes?"
Anna's eyes widened.
"You are one of the high ranking nobles in the land, and all you need is the approval of someone high up the ladder." Elsa grinned.
"You." Anna muttered.
"Yes, me." Elsa chuckled.
Anna then smiled. "So do I have Her Majesty's approval?"
Elsa nuzzled on Anna's hair. "Of course. I'll sign the document formally inducting you to the council."
Anna chuckled. "Thank you, Your Majesty."
"You're very much welcome, Your Grace." Elsa held Anna a bit tighter. "You don't have to worry about Northul, I'll protect our kingdom, our people. . .I'll protect you."
"I know but who's gonna protect you?" Anna turned and looked Elsa in the eye.
Elsa was startled by this. Ever since she started her training she was told not to rely on anyone but herself.
"I. . ." Elsa trailed off. "I am capable of protecting myself."
Anna caressed Elsa's face. "I know darling." she buried her face on Elsa's shoulder. "But I want to protect you too, you know? I-I want to be there for you too as you had for me. You were there to protect me when the people wronged by the late Duke were trying to harm me and you had done it many times before that. I want to return the favor."
Elsa was stunned.
"I may not be as skilled nor strong as you but I want to share the burden you're carrying on your shoulders not only because I am your wife but also I care for you." Anna wound her arms around Elsa's waist before lifting her head to once again stare at those icy orbs.
Tears gathered in Elsa's eyes. Anna's words deeply touched her heart. Having Anna might've been the gods' way of giving Elsa back the light in her life, the light that they took two decades ago. She was now sure that Anna was the one for her. The one that would fill the void inside her.
Elsa pulled Anna into a deep searing kiss, and it was reciprocated with equal measure. She held Anna as if her life depended on it. Their kiss became passionate as Elsa nipped Anna's lower lip, urging the strawberry blonde woman to grant her permission to enter.
Anna was perceptive to her advances and slightly parted her mouth, giving Elsa the opportunity to slide her pink muscle into Anna's mouth.
Soft moans emanated from both of them. The slick sounds of their kiss filled the room.
Elsa gently pushed Anna down on the mattress without breaking their kiss, Anna then wrapped her arms around Elsa's neck, pulling her closer.
Their lips were in sync with each other, Elsa felt her body heating up. She wanted to stop or else she might lose control and take Anna right there and then.
Elsa reluctantly pulled away and panted, leaving an equally breathless Anna.
The moment Anna's eyes fluttered open, Elsa noticed how dilated her pupils were. Anna was aroused.
That particular fact made Elsa bite the inside of her cheek to divert her thoughts from her growing need. She leaned her forehead against Anna's and whispered. "Thank you. You can't imagine how your words made me happy." She lied next to Anna and pulled her closer. "When we first met, I already accepted I will never experience such warmth and kindness from you given our circumstances but I was wrong."
Anna smiled. "So am I and yet here we are." she chuckled, ignoring the heat pooling in her belly.
"Yeah." Elsa pressed her lips on Anna's forehead. "I'll always be here for you. Never forget that."
"Likewise." Anna snuggled on Elsa.
"Sleepy?"
"Yeah." Anna answered.
Elsa smiled. "Good night my dearest." She placed a kiss on Anna's crown.
"Good night darling."
Elsa was staring at the far wall of the room, while Anna hid her face on the crook of Elsa's neck. Once again she waited for Anna's breathing to even out before saying the words wanted to say but she wasn't ready for Anna to hear them yet, however her heart might burst if she didn't so she once again whispered in the night.
"I think I have fallen in love with you."
And yes Isabela Madrigal is coming to Arendelle sooooon! gosh I love her. Anyone here like Isabela?
