Chapter Thirty-Seven
October 18th, 2018

Getting up out of their bed this morning, Matt Casey took a breath as he looked around his bedroom to try and find his wife as he didn't feel her on his chest; with that being where she normally slept, it was abnormal for her not to be on his chest when he woke up. And that was especially the case when the couple agreed that today would be a day in bed, a day where they can relax; and a day that she can take it easy for the sake of their twins. And that was something that was crucial (in his opinion). Gabby really needed to rest for their twins, as they both wanted to have those children badly. So, the reason why his loving wife wasn't in bed with him this morning was truly a question mark; as if there was anywhere that the husband expected Gabby to be this morning, it would've been on his chest as they cuddle up to each other in bed. Heck, they both love cuddling to each other in bed whenever they get a chance to do so (even when she doesn't need to relax and take it easy). They do it every night, and he was really hoping that he was going to be able to do it with her this morning; but that turned out not to be the case, as he didn't know where Gabby was at the moment. So, it was time to call out for her.

"Babe?" Matt said, calling out with the hopes of trying to find his wife this morning; still unaware of the fact that she was only steps away from him, and that he would easily find her if he just put a bit more effort into trying to find his wife (who wasn't lost at all). Rather, she was mere steps away from him as she sat on the porch they have off of their bedroom; enjoying a bit of tea, she snickered a bit while hitting post on her latest blog post. But now, it was time for her to tell husband just where she was this morning so that he would stop worrying about where she was. "Maybe it you put a bit more effort into trying to find me, then you would know that I'm right over here baby." Turning his head to where his wife's voice was coming from, Matt smiled as he sat up so that he could get out of bed and go find his beautiful wife. Proceeding to stretch a bit, Matt ended up yawning as he looked at the time and saw that it was much later than he expected. On a regular day, it wasn't abnormal for him to wake up prior to 10 am to start his day (and make Gabby some breakfast). But that was not the case today. Today, he was waking up at 10:45 am; and that might mean that his wife is starving.

God, he just hopes that she at least went to grab a muffin or something. But he's going to ask her that after he makes his way out to her, as he wants his morning kiss; a morning kiss that he should've gotten when she first woke up this morning. Had he known that she was awake, he would've woken up much sooner and made sure to go make the both of them some much needed breakfast. I mean, his wife does need to eat for the sake of their children. And he would much rather get up and make them some food, than sleep in later than he really needs to sleep in. The truth was, he didn't need to sleep in as much as he does sometimes; but that didn't mean that he didn't like sleeping in as much as he does. It just means that he gets more cuddle time with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. Well, sometimes. This morning, that turned out not to be the case due to the fact that Gabby decided to get up early and make herself some tea. Yawning a bit more as he made his way over to the back porch off of their room, Matt smiled at the sight of his beautiful wife.

"Good morning." Turning her head, Gabby smiled as she looked at Matt. "Don't worry, I already decided to go grab something to eat." Matt nodded, agreeing with his wife when she told him that; after all, he's glad that she ate. She needs to eat for the sake of their kids. And as much as he knows that his wife is well aware of that fact, he does like to remind her sometimes. "Sorry if I'm starting to pester about that." Gabby shook her head when she heard Matt say that, not wanting him to worry about pestering her over her having to eat. She knows that he's doing it because he cares for her (which he does). And all she wants is for him to relax. She wants him to take it easy, and she wants him to remember that she's fine at the end of the day. She loves him and will always love it when they are holding each other close in bed. That will always be a fact, and Matt really doesn't need to worry about her (as much). But the truth is, she knows that he'll always worry for her. Just making his way out to his beautiful wife, Matt smiled as he proceeded to sit down next to his gorgeous wife.

"So, what made you get out of bed; and get away from me having your body against mine when I woke up?" Gabby laughed when she heard Matt say that, watching as he put his feet up on the coffee table. Afterwards, she proceeded to close her laptop and smiled as she decided to put it to the side. "I was up early, and I just couldn't stay in bed any longer." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, smiling as he watched her get close to him. Afterwards, Matt smiled as he put his hand on her stomach. Sure, she didn't have a baby bump yet; but he didn't care. All that mattered to him was that he gets a chance to put his hand on her stomach. "Does it feel weird when I put my hand there? I mean, when you don't have a baby bump?" Gabby shook her head when Matt asked her if it felt weird, but it didn't. Rather, it was welcome…as it meant that she was pregnant. "No, I like the feeling regardless. And there's a reason for that." Matt looked at Gabby when she said that. "Oh, there is now?" Gabby took a breath when Matt asked her that. "It's because I never imaged the day where I would actually be pregnancy. I always thought that I wouldn't ever get the chance because it was too risky or something."

Matt took a breath when he heard Gabby say that, still really sad that she even thinks that way. But he isn't just sad for that reason, he's sad as he's part of the reason why she feels that way. Maybe, if he didn't speak to her the way he did; she wouldn't have all of these feelings. Moving closer to Matt once again, Gabby took a breath when she felt him leave a kiss on her forehead. And that definitely was welcome. It was exactly what she wanted to feel from him, as it was just what she needed. The feeling of his hand on her stomach was perfect too, as there was nothing better than the feeling of the man you love holding you close to him. And she meant that more than anything in the entire world. Moving to grab her hand, Matt took a breath as he looked at Gabby. "So, what time did you wake up?" Gabby smiled at him. "Maybe 9, 9:30." Matt agreed with her. "I wish I knew, I would've gotten up to make you breakfast." Gabby agreed with Matt, smiling at him.

"I know you would. But we went through a bunch of drama yesterday, and I just felt like I needed a bit of time to decompress; and I just felt like I needed some time alone to just…" Gabby took a breath, trying to think of what she was trying to say. Realizing that right away, Matt left a kiss on her forehead. "Hey, it's okay Gabby. I can get some of what you're saying. If you don't know everything that you want to say, I can understand some of it; and that's all that matters. You just needed to take a minute to think about everything that happened yesterday." Gabby looked down when her husband said that. "God, I swear; it's like we can't escape drama." Matt looked at Gabby when she said that. "Hey, is there something on your mind Gabby? You seem a bit flustered." Gabby looked at her husband when he asked her that. "I'm just worried. I mean, things got contentious yesterday. What if…" Matt shook his head. "Hey, look at me." Gabby agreed and did just that.

Grabbing his beautiful wife's hand, Matt smiled as he leaned in and proceeded to kiss her softly. "Baby, you have nothing to worry about. Things are being taken care of. We are here with each other, and we're just relaxing. That's all that matters. And today, we're going to take it easy as we just hold each other close." Gabby agreed with her husband when he said that, taking a breath. "Are you sure that's what you want to do? Or do you want to…" Matt just looked at Gabby, smiling at her. "There's nothing that I would rather do other than hold my girls close to me." Gabby laughed a bit when she heard Matt say that. "Oh, and you're so positive that we're going to have daughters now? What if we have one of each?" Matt smiled at his wife when she asked him that. "I'm sure that we're going to have twin girls, there's just no way that we aren't going to have twin girls." Gabby just smiled when he said that, really liking the idea of them having twin girls. "I like that idea."

Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling at the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. He then proceeded watch as she got up. "Hey, where are you going?" Setting her coffee mug down next to her laptop on the table they have outside, Gabby smiled as she proceeded to come join her husband on the couch once again; sitting in his lap, Gabby smiled as she cuddled up to him and wrapped her arms around his torso. "No, I just wanted to cuddle up to my loving husband." Matt smiled when he heard Gabby say that, loving the idea of him holding her close to him right now. After all, that's exactly what he wants to do today; he wants to just hold her close. Putting his hand on her leg as they relaxed with each other, Matt smiled as he looked into her eyes. "How are you feeling right now? You want to just sit here for a bit? Or do you want me to get you some breakfast in bed?" Gabby smiled when Matt asked her that.

"Oh, I can definitely go for some breakfast in bed. I just wish it didn't mean that my husband had to leave our room, he's quite sexy and muscular after all." Matt smirked when he heard Gabby say that, well aware of the fact that she wants him to stay in their room with her. "I know, I feel the same way. But at the end of the day, it'll be worth it because you will love my breakfast." Gabby agreed when Matt said that, smiling as she turned to look at the man she loves. She then put her hand on his leg as she leaned in and kissed him softly. Taking things nice and slow with each other this morning, Matt and Gabby both smiled due to the fact that this was the perfect way for them to start their morning; together as they just enjoy a bit of alone time. "Promise me something?" Gabby turned to look at Matt when he said that. "What's that?" Matt smiled at her. "If you need to talk to me, talk to me." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling at her man. "I promise."

He ended up taking longer than expected to make breakfast for himself and Gabby, as he wanted to make sure that it was perfect. He wanted to make sure that today went perfect for his girl, as he wanted to just walk around and take it easy. Walking into his and Gabby's bedroom shortly after making his way back there, Matt smiled when he saw Gabby watching TV as she comfortably laid down in their bed. God, just the sight of her laying down here is incredible. But that was not what Matt needed to concentrate on right now. Rather, he needed to concentrate on the fact that his wife needs to eat for the sake of their children. Just smiling at the woman of my dreams, I smirked due to the fact that she's incredibly sexy. That's when Gabby saw me, saw me smirk at her as she laid back in bed; she then went ahead and adjusted how sexy she was laying down in bed. God, the way she's laying down was really turning her husband on; and the wife knew it full well.

The reason she knew it, it was the way his boxers tightened up around his erection that was starting to show. "You like the sight Mr. Casey?" Matt smirked when Gabby asked him whether he was enjoying the sight. "Oh, I'm definitely enjoying the sight in front of me." Gabby nodded, smirking at the man of her dreams as he told her that. "So, are you going to come join me in bed with that breakfast? Or are you going to let it get cold, just because you want to stare at me?" Matt laughed when Gabby asked him that, proceeding to walk over to his and Gabby's bed so that he can join the woman of his dreams in bed. After all, that was exactly what he wanted to do right now. He wanted to join his woman in bed, and he wanted to just help her relax. That's all she needs to do at the moment, and Matt was well aware of that. So, that's why he's ready to just take it easy with Gabby. Making his way over to bed with the woman he loves, Matt smirked at his beautiful wife.

"So, do you want to talk about what we're going to do today?" Matt was a bit confused when he heard Gabby ask him that, walking over to their bed. Afterwards, he set their food down on the bed as he looked at her. Putting his hand on Gabby's stomach, Matt smirked as he bent down and proceeded to kiss her softly. "So, what do you need to talk to me about? I thought that we were just going to lay down in bed today?" Gabby smirked as she looked at her husband. "How about you get in bed, we can get comfortable with each other, and I can hold my husband in my arms; and I can tell him what I want today." Matt was still confused when he hard the love of his life tell him that, but he decided to just go ahead and did what Gabby told him to do. He didn't want to make her mad, so he just made sure that his gorgeous wife was happy right now. So, that's exactly what he did. He did whatever he could to make her happy at this moment, and that was to sit down.

Gabby's POV:
Feeling Matt sit down in bed with me this morning, I smiled as I felt him cuddle up to me before kissing my forehead softly. God, the way his lips just feel against my forehead is incredible; and I love him more than anything in the entire world. But right now, it wasn't time for us to concentrate on that. Rather, it was time for me and Matt to eat some breakfast. Looking at the egg sandwiches that Matt made for the both of us. Turning my head, I smiled as I looked up at my incredible husband. "Thanks for making this for me baby." Turning his head, Matt smiled as he looked down at me. "Hey, of course baby. I'll always make you breakfast for the rest of your pregnancy." I smiled, agreeing with the man I love before leaning up and kissing him softly. Taking things slow with me, Matt put his hand on my neck and smirked due to the fact that he's very happy that we're in bed with each other. "So, we're going to talk as we relax today?" I agreed with Matt, smirking.

"I mean, I hope that's what you want to do." Matt nodded when I asked him whether he wanted to talk today. "Hey, of course I want to talk baby. If you want to talk to me, then we'll talk. That's everything that I want to do for you." I agreed with Matt when he told me that, smiling as I looked up at the amazing man that I get to call my husband. "Did I ever tell you that I have the best husband in the entire world?" Matt laughed a bit when I asked him that, smiling at me. "Oh, I am well aware of the fact that I am the best husband in the entire world in your opinion." I agreed with Matt when he said that. Going to grab my egg sandwich, I smiled as I proceeded to take a bite and just looked at the man of my dreams. God, he always makes good food; and he's well aware of the fact that I love it when he makes us food. Turning my heard, I smiled at my gorgeous husband. "I swear, you make really good breakfasts." Matt laughed when I said that. "You always say that."

I agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling at him. "Because it's true, and it'll always be true." Matt agreed with me when I said that, proceeding to kiss my forehead softly. "How about you wait and tell me how you feel once you digest?" I was a bit confused when I heard Matt say that, not exactly understanding why that would be the case. "Why exactly?" Matt then proceeded to put his hand on my stomach. "Our kids need to tell you whether they like it first." I laughed when Matt said that, agreeing with him as I put my hand on his. I then went ahead and looked at the man of my dreams. Stroking his hand, I stared up into his eyes and smirked as I am so happy over the fact that I have the best husband in the entire world. "Did I ever tell you that I have the best husband in the entire world?" Matt laughed when I said that, leaning in to kiss me softly. Taking things nice and slow with me, Matt smirked due to the fact that we're here together right now.

And honestly, I'm really happy too. This is everything that I have ever wanted. I want to have a baby with my husband, and we're having too; I want to be with him in Puerto Rico, and that's where we are right now; I still want to be married to Matt, and we're still married. Well, that's just my dream life; and I can't wait for the rest of our lives. The lives that will include our children in the future. "I'm glad that we're having twins. This is going to be the life of our dreams." Matt agreed with me when I said that, smiling at me. He then leaned in and kissed my forehead softly. "What do you say we just take it easy and we can eat? After that, we can cuddle and just hold each other close." I agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling at me. I then proceeded to stroke his hand and just smirked due to the fact that we're both extremely happy right now. How in the world did I get so lucky to have Matt as my husband? I will always believe that I have truly hit the jackpot husband wise.

"I swear, I hit the jackpot in who I married." Matt agreed with me when I said that, smiling as he (must) feel the same way. "Trust me baby, I feel the same way about you. And I am so glad that we're just holding each other right now. This is all we need to be doing right now. But we also just need to take it easy and relax. Promise me that we do that right now?" I agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling as that was exactly what I wanted to do right now. I just want to cuddle up to the man of my dreams as we both held each other close. And honestly, there's nothing better than the feeling of us holding each other close; as it means that Matt's also holding our children close to me. "How are you feeling about having twins?" Matt laughed. "I can't wait to have twins, and we both know that." I smiled, agreeing with Matt as I went ahead and took another bite of my breakfast. "Yeah, I feel the same way. Now, how about we finish eating…then I can cuddle up to my man."

Matt agreed with me (again) before turning his head, kissing my forehead as he smiled at me. Afterwards, he bent down and kissed me softly. Taking things nice and slow with each other, me and Matt both smirked due to the fact that we're currently just holding each other close in bed right now. "I love you." I agreed with Matt when he told me that. "I love you too." Matt nodded, smiling at me when I said that. He then kissed my forehead, smirking as we both just held each other in bed while we relaxed with each other. And honestly, there was nothing better than the feeling of us holding each other in bed. "This is perfect." Matt laughed when he said that, agreeing with Gabby when he said that before continuing to eat breakfast with his beautiful wife; glad that they are currently just resting with each other ahead of their day in bed.
