In the last chapter our new super hero in training got a mentor for her career. But every hero needs one thing and that is training for their powers and fightin you enjoy! Work belongs to greg wiseman and Brandon Vietti.

Chapter 8:Training

September 8th Happy Harbor/Mount justice.

It was soon another brand new day over happy harbor like always. With the seagull squawking and flying around for any piece of food they could find on the sandy beaches of the harbor right now. But for someone else they were still in a deep sleep right now

With Delilah slowly snoring in her sleep was Delilah who was enjoying a peaceful night right now. With a ghost nibbling on top of her head sleeping soundly like a good pup. But it was soon ruined from her alarm which stirr ghost awake

Which made him become immediately alert as he began yo start barking and yelping like crazy right now. With him prancing around on her head practically tap dancing. This made her stir awake as she looked up being met face to face to the pup

As they stared at each other he licked her face a few times making her laugh as she stroked his fur

"Good pup. Alright let's get up buddy"she said as he barked in response. With her slipping out of bed as she quickly got changed for the day. Once she knocked at her door.

Walking over she opened it to reveal m'gann their who smiled

"Oh you're awake. I wanted to tell you i made breakfast and wanted to wake you up for it"m'gann said with a bright smile

"Your pretty positive i guess. But that's a good thing too to lighten up the mood"deliah said, walking out as the ghost scampered out carrying his favorite chew toy in the form of a red rocket ship. With m'gann noticing him

"Oh I almost forgot he was still here. Hi little friend"She said reaching down to pet him but he backed up which hurt her a little. As delilah noticed this sighing as she reached down with him backing up as she sighed

"He thinks you're gonna take his favorite chew toy away. Drop it buddy…wanna play fetch"she asked as ghost dropped it

Picking it up she reeled her arm back before tossing it with all her might. As the ghost yipped, running after it with his little legs. With him picking up as he bite it running back dropping it down by their feet for more

M'gann stood there for a moment as delilah nudged her with m'gann picking it up. Then studying it for a moment she tossed it, throwing it as the young pup chased it catching it. Then he returned it dropping it yipping for more making her laugh

"This is so much fun….we never really have something like this on m'orzz"m'gann replied

"Really? No pets like cats or dogs"She asked as m'gann hummed for a moment

"No…oh wait i do have bioship she's a great asset to the team"m'gann said making the girl very confused right now what a bioship was

"A bioship? Okay now i gotta see what that is right now"delaih said as m'gann laughed getting the chew toy back as she offered it. But ghost snatched it scampering a little as she looked a little disappointed as she wanted to play with him more

"Well guess he doesn't wanna play anymore…or maybe he wants my pancakes"She said walking ahead as Delilah rolled her eyes seeing her as a bit of a ditz which was cute.

As they were walking back inside the kitchen the others were up. With conner busy watching the news right now with wally eating some pancakes that the martian made really fast like he was a wood chipper right now. As dick was drinking some coffee staring at a tablet right now.

"So you guys excited for today because guess what it is"dick jokes

"Let me guess training with superman. Wait…he hates me"Conner said with a growl as wally talked with a mouth full of food but it was muffled right now

"Wally swallow"dick said as the speedster swallowed as he cleared his throat for a moment

"Dude he's just adjusting still besides we like how you took the name it suits you. Just like the red s on your shirt"wally said as connor looked down growling as he walked over slamming his fist on the table right now

"Do you think I like jokes? I keep telling you to lay off"he said as wally got scared right now but suddenly a squeak was heard. Looking down it belonged to ghost who kept biting his squeaky toy several times which began to drive conner into rage

The clone of superman growled lifting his fist up to punch the dog. But as he was dick put a hand up getting between him and the pup

"SB relax! Little guy just wanted to say hi relax"he said as superboy growled with delilah staring at him

"Hey don't punch my dog."she warned as the ghost squeaked his toy again as Conner growled. With m'gann thinking of something as she waved her hand with her eyes glowing

Suddenly the pup began to glow as he was floating in the air flying as he kicked his little legs. As she placed him infront of connor who growled

"Get it away from me"he ordered but dick saw what she was doing as he picked the pup up who titled his little head

"Come on hold him. People say petting something soft calms your nerves"he suggested

Superboy growled but eyed them all for a moment, scoffing as he snatched the pup gently. Then he walked over toward the coach sitting down staring at him. With the ghost dropping his chew toy on his lap before moving around then curled up on his lap. Their was another awkward silence as wally sighed

"Dude pet him like this"he said making a petting motion with his hand

Hesitantly he reached down stroking and following the motion he was shown. Once he touched the dog's fur he made sure to not to put too much strength into it. But as he did it felt soothing and relaxing like he was petting a cloud right now. With a ghost enjoying it nuzzling into his lap right now.

"Well lookie here someone managed to calm down the beefcake"artemis said walking up the stairs right now

"Heyya artemis. Let me guess you stayed the night instead of going home"dick questioned as he got close with her scoffing at him

"Stop being weird, I didn't. Told my mom the situation is all….and oh boy i got a surprising phone call"Se said

"How so? Do you want some breakfast"m'gann asked offering some pancakes right now as she hummed shaking her head

"Sure"she said as the red headed martian fixed a couple plates as they sat down for some breakfast right now. As she quickly used her telekinesis to set the table for everyone real quick as Delilah began to eat the pancake that was a little cold but she didn't mind right now.

"What this phone call you got a boy number"wally teased as artemis stomped on his foot as he yelped holding it

"No. my mom and delilah are talking since the league filled her in i was well…you know a sidekick"artemis explained taking a bite of her breakfast

"Oh great there in a club now of worried mothers"deliah joked making m'gann laugh a little at that as wally laughed with robin wondering if they have another wally but who's the opposite gender. Though he was weary of her and artemis actually for their mysterious backgrounds.

"Maybe but eh it's better than nothing. So…are you gonna do something"She asked her friend who was confused

"About what?"Delaih questioned

"You know your supersuit? I mean look at mine"wally said zipping away before returning with his all suited up as he flexed to get her attention but she internally gagged fixing chica to be more her thing.

"He's got a point because i mean that one you had before was well…embarrassing"artemis admitted as she blushed

"It wasn't that bad i'll prove it"she said walking away knowing she packed it. After some time she came in that homemade suit she made right now. Once she came back she saw them staring at her right now. With their being a long pause happened as dick shook his head

"That just make you look like some exotic dancer"he brutally admitted as she frowned under the mask with wally humming

"Ehhhh i kinda like it shows the…goods"he joked eyeing her as she growled at him for that right now

"Is he always making pervy comments"She asked

"Yes"both m'gann and artemis said in unison right now as superboy was sitting there thinking he was trapped by the small pup right now

"Just wear some dumb mask to hide your face like the boy wonder"conner said as she had to disagree on that

"Nah but…wait she doesn't wear a mask"She said pointing at the martian. As m'gann immediately did something her skin began to change around. Before suddenly she was wearing her covert ops outfit as she twirled around for a moment showing it off

"I can change my skin and shapeshift here, watch this' 'She said as she began to use her shapeshifting. As suddenly she began to change into an exact copy of wally but a female version with costume and all right now with her amazed by that.

"Whoa…that's kinda cool can you turn into anything"She asked as miss martian sighed sadly

"No I can only do girls, boys are much harder. "She said as she decided to mimic her right now. As before them was another copy of delilah right now as there was an awkward silence as artemis sighed

"M'gann i think your making things awkward"she said as m'gann flinched before reverting back to her true form nervously laughing right now

"Sorry my bad…if you don't want me to–"she was stopped

"You kidding me that was cool. For once I didn't feel like I was taller than everyone…still am though"She whined right now as Artemis noticed something a little right now. Suddenly she shrunk just a couple inches right now which dick noticed

"Hey did you shrink a couple inches or something"artemis asked which confused her as she was now at eye contact with superboy almost to her confusion. With her feeling around confused right now

"What the? Did i shrink….do not tell me my powers involve me being able to shrink or something"she asked

"Won't know if we get a tape measure out."dick said grabbing one as delilah leaned against a wall as he measured her out seeing she was now at 6 ft in height right now as he pulled it away

"Your six foot right"he asked to her utter shock right now as without any heels she's at most 6'2

"No! I should have two more inches but….is it bad i don't mind that"she said as wally tapped his chin snapping his finger quickly

"Hey maybe you got a heap of powers. You don't even know what you could do...maybe star labs will come back. Might be interesting if your mole cure genes are different"he said confusing her hearing him talk smart

"When did the dumb one become smart"she asked as artemis held her laugh back but could't laughing at him as wally frowned

"Kid flash is actually smart despite his antics. But we should get ready because we might be getting training day right now since you arrived"robin said as they all agreed on that leaving with conner still sitting on the couch with ghost who was fast asleep with m'gann staring at him

"Ummm conner you can move"she said as he refused to just simply sitting their as she laughed at that right now

Training hall an hour later

It was an hour later where the mission briefing was as right now already there was kaldur with someone. That being Nico and Dinah who were both in their usual attire right now as they were also ollie but he didn't have his hood up.

"Well lookie here the newbie and the others finally arrived. We got here early for training you kiddios"ollie said

"Me and nico will be…wheres conner"dinah said

"Uh he's preoccupied being trapped by a dog right now. He's refusing to get up from the puppy on his lap"wally said as ollie laughed needing to see this. As he walked over as it wasn't far but he laughed right now as suddenly from the balcony he peeked over holding ghost who was still sleeping

"Do you have to see this it was hilarious he thought he couldn't move to wake the little guy up"ollie said as walking down embarrassed a little was conner as artemis laughed at that

"It's kind of a unspoken rule but come on superboy we got training to do."she said as conner joined them along with ollie as nico stretched his back out right now sighing

"Yep and you got the two who like to throw hands despite having powers. I gotta teach my rookie on how i roll"he said as delilah was interested right now

"Right your my mentor but…what are your powers i can't recall"She asked

As Nico showed them off as he channeled his power. Before suddenly the Aztec- like tattoos on his body started to glow in a golden glow with a small haze around them which she noticed. But suddenly from above a humanoid figure with a rhino head appeared behind him in aztec clothing before the tattoos burst into purple energy.

Then he walked over picking up a concrete block before putting pressure on it. Then he squeezed it in his hands, crushing it completely right now. The entire block was turned into dust as he shook his hand off smiling right now

"This right here is my little power. I can call upon aztec spirits to assist me. Mostly animal spirits that will assist me i sort of have some different powers"nico explained making her surprised

"Really? How many do you have you gotta be a match for superman i bet"she said as superboy grumbled with dinah laughing a little at that

"He wishes. Nico only has access to well four of them with one being flight, another being increasing his sense of smell."she explained

"Last one is just growing razor sharp claws, trust me they do damage. But it'll be a fun because.."he paused

As he got onto the floor with him throwing off his scarf to the winds. With him rubbing his side for a moment grunting. As the tiles on the center of the ring soon turned pure white with a blue barrier right now. Nico did some light stretches for a moment as he sighed

"Now let's get down to business i got a few bruises from last night"he said

"A mission?"dick asked

"If you count running into the local drug cartels down in Mexico then yeah. Pendajos thought kidnapping a kid be fun"he said but smashed his fist together smiling right now

"Taught them a lesson now who my first victim"he said as there was silence for a moment as wally smirked stepping forward

"I'll go might show her how to beat her old man of a mentor"he commented as Delilah rolled her eyes. With kaldur sighing

"You did it again west"he muttered

"Here we go again wally gonna get thrown around again"dick said as wally was entering the ring right now as he scoffed at that right now

"No i won't this time i'll win"he said stepping toward as he was meeting him in the middle right now

As there was a brief pause between the two right now, Nico lunged forward swinging at him. Once he did kid flash blocked it before swiftly dodging another one predicting the moves of the Aztec themed hero. This time he wasn't going to lose like the other time with black canary right now.

Though as wally dodged another hit he just had to showboat right now

"Whoa! Buddy watch out don't break a hip right now"he taunted

As this was his undoing right now as immediately nico sweeped the legs out. But wally expected it this time with him dodging it as he laughed

"I ain't falling for that again"he said firmly but the man smiled

"That's not what i was going for"nico replied confusing the poor boy right now

Before suddenly the man reached forward instead of sweeping the legs and kneed the boy in the gut. This made Wally grunt as it knocked the air out of his lungs. Then he fell to his knees in pain as the ground turned red right now then something appeared

From the ground appeared big red letters saying"Kid flash, status FAIL"it said in big letters to add insult to injury

Nico smiled helping the poor boy up to his feet laughing as he escorted him off the ring right now

"Well their we are our first victim of the training today whos next?"he asked as no one stepped forward as delilah scoffed stepping forward taking the ring right now

"You know i kinda wanna punch you for one reason she said as he smiled taking a stance against her

"That being"he asked as she shifted her feet into an offensive stance. With her clenching her fist circling her thumbs around her finger into a fist. Then she stretched her neck out for a quick moment right now

"Here's a huge hint….i hate smug jerks"she said before running forward starting their dual right now

Immediately she threw a few jabs toward her future mentor right now. With Nico blocking them as she nailed one on him to his surprise. As she tried to throw another he caught it trying to pull her down but she yanked her arm away. Before kicking her leg into his thigh making him stumbled slightly as dinah hummed on the sideline

"That a good hum canary"ollie asked holding the still sleepy ghost

"In a way, yes. Her work is a little sloppy but i can see she trained a little before…wonder how"She said

"Simpy she had some self defense training done by a few expert including her father"Dick answered as they stared at him for a moment as kaldur sighed

"You stalked her and searched her on the internet i take it"artemis jokes

"Nope told me herself back at school."dick said

"Good. because I would rather not have you do random background checks on your teammates like you tried with artemis,"kaldur said as dick eyed his old friend as he still doesn't trust these two newbies even if one of them was his friends from school.

As their fight kept going on right now slowly delilah was getting a little tired. But as she threw another punch Nico striked. The man dodged it by bending his back backward before wrapping his arm around her leg lifting it in the air. Which caused her to bounce up and down for a moment right now as she wobbled around.

Then he smiled, titling her back before she fully landed onto her back, making her grunt right now. Then the floor light up saying one thing that embarrassed her

"Wraith. Status FAIL"in big red letters to make her not feel so great but nico walked over offering a hand she took as he laughed for a moment smiling

"Nice try kiddio but you got a week of training with little old me. But lets keep going for some sparring"he said

As they kept going back and forth with Dinah and Nico for a while. With kaldur landing a few hits and managing to throw the siren screamer on her back. Which she complimented for but made sure to watch his blindspots. While robin easily landed some hits but nico threw him down onto his back knocking him out. Superboy was a little predictable as nico simply made him angry and resulted in him getting thrown onto his back.

Then there was Artemis who almost threw black canary onto her back or out of the ring. But the woman was quicker, kicking her back out of the ring before dropping her down onto the ground by grappling her head onto the ground. While m'gann had a tough time as she wasn;t much of a fighter from close range and got out instantly

After a beating for a few hours they were all sore right now as dinah whipped her hands off

"Good job everyone you've earned some down time right now for the night"dinah said as they all sighed in relief

"Great, I need an ice bath right now,"Wally said, zipping away as they were all ready to leave. Suddenly the large tube light up again as the speaker came to life

"Recognized 03 wonder woman, recognized a-09 the tailor"the announcer said as walking through the zeta tube was Diana with someone else. That being a man who had tanned skin with him seeming in his sixties. Along with having a gray beard as he wore a simple newboycap on his head colored dark gray. With him having on brown suspenders with a green dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up revealing a set of hairy gray arms

"Ah the princess graces us with her presence. I take it you brought out friend here for a good old fighting"ollie joked as diana sighed

"I did. Delilah come here for a second"she asked as the girl froze walking over but as she did the amazon noticed that she shrunk a few inches

"Weren;t you much taller? Did you…shrink"She questioned

"What are you talking about kids taller than….wait a minute you did"nico said as she looked nervous

"Well my powers kinda did that…i guess i might have a lot"she explained as the man stepped forward humming tapping his chin

"Multiple powers haven't worked with one of you before in a long time. "He said creeping her out wondering who this old guy was

"Whos this guy"She asked

"He's a tailor that we use to help make and fix any damages to our suits. We would let you make your own but you need help making it. He's an expert all we need are your measurement but with you shrinking it seems he might have his work cut out for him"diana explained

The tailor offered a hand"I am sorry young lady. I am a man of my craft. But i will be gently but do you have any recommendations for your costume while i'm making it"he asked

This made her think for a moment as her last one was pretty terrible but the design wasn't so bad. But if she didn't control her powers soon she could use some taser or something. But she thought of some ides deciding to run them with the man detailing the design she wanted for her costume

Elsewhere after exiting the showers in the girls locker room right now was m'gann and artemis. As artemis had a towel wrapped around her showing off her curves and hips with her lean and toned body right now. It brought out her figure well as she was drying her hair out right now along with said towel showing some of her bust.

Then there was m'gann who had a pair of curvy hips in a way as the towel was wrapped around her. With it reaching to her middle thigh. Along with that she had it showed some bust though she was busy drying her hands off as they spoke

"So how do you think training went today?"m'gann said starting some conversation

"Pretty good…if you count getting slammed on the ground my neck is killing me"Artemis replied

'I know but it makes us stronger"m'gann replied with the two going quiet right now. As they did m'gann seemed lost in thought for a moment before thinking about that new teammate of theirs for a moment. But shook it off as they needed to enjoy themselves for the time being till their next mission.

It seems things are getting interesting for the team with the tailor who is from the DC unvierse. He makes outfits and what not for supehero and super villians. But why is m'gann thinking of this new hero on their team? (btw if you figure out my hint this is an alternate universe so...meh).
