In the last chapter we saw the team first mission together with the rookie on their team. Though sometimes people do become homesick after some time which is the case for deliah. Chapter 11:Homesick

September 16th happy harbor 8:34 am

It was a whole day after her first mission working with the team which was so exciting right now. But the worst part was that she couldn't tell her parents or friends about this as she sighed a little right now. Because it was a new day in happy harbor but for her she was a little homesick right now missing her friends, family and most importantly for once school.

It was so nice to go to school, hang out with her friends, watch movies, see what the news was on the superheroes of their world. But with her being one it must have gotten on the news as she sighed with her getting up limping a little with her leg

"Time for a new day….maybe a new mission"she said getting ready for the day right now

September 16th 8:36 am kitchen, mount justice

Inside the kitchen of mount justice right now still there for the day despite not living there was artemis. Who was fixing her arrows right now after being shot by deadshot with her taking the tips off as they were all very special in a way.

Because they could blow up, be a grappling hook, foam arrows, tracking arrows you name it. But she was busy taking them apart to save money on the parts. With her was conner and m'gann who was busy making breakfast for the day

As she was she used her telekinesis to float the ingredients around right now as she hummed. She floated some eggs planning on trying to make omelets to celebrate their new teammates first mission together

"Okay so what do i need"she said to herself as she floated a cookbook infront of her smiling seeing the ingredients

"Eggs…cheese….sausages…and ohh hash browns haven't made those yet"she said using her powers

As several ingredients came out from the nearby cupboards and fridge right now. With some eggs coming out with a container of salt and one of pepper floating around. There were also some sausage links and hash browns. Though as she was doing it suddenly something happened right now as a loud yelp was heard

Looking up, the martian flinched to see all the food she meant to use for cooking right now was all over their new teammate. As delilah whipped the egg yolk off her face as m'gann flinched running over with a rag right now

"Oh my god i'm sorry!"She said starting to whip the egg yolk off of the girl face

"I was distracted and busy! I wasn't paying attention and I just didn't know what I was doing wrong is all"she said as she whipped the yolk off her face and some egg shells. As she did the martian stared at her for a moment

The two stared at each other for a long moment right now as she stared at her for a moment before some thought popped into her head. As it did the martian quickly cleaned some other stuff off before grabbing a towel handing her it quickly

"Here you go! Sorry for staring…i am kinda short and your ummm tall!"she quickly replied confusing the teen who signed flicking a piece of egg off her shoulder

"Great i gotta change…i'm gonna change again…be right back"She said with a sight cheer in her voice as she walked away as artemis noticed that putting her arrows down as her friend walked away

"Hmmm thats weird"she said aloud

"And why is that weird?"conner asked as he had ghost on his lap snoozing right now as the archer tapped her chin

"One she should be happy she had her first mission last night. But….i think she might be homesick"she commented as it confused conner as m'gann frowned at that for a moment

"Right, I forgot she was from gotham. That is quite upsetting to be away from home even for a couple weeks….you think we should ask my uncle j'onn and the league to let her family come for a visit"she suggested

"He might not do that m'gann….but maybe we could go out on the town i've hardly visited happy harbor and well she has to live here for a while."artemis suggested as the martian thought about it loving the idea right now

"Thats a great idea! Oh I could invite Karen and malcolm! Maybe even marvin''She cheered as connor growled a little at that

"I don't like them their annoying"he said

"You find everyone annoying besides it'll be fun to get out of the cave"artemis said as he thought about it with m'gann having a idea

"We could bring your new friend you made"she said as he eyed a ghost who barked a little as he grunted in agreement right now.

Soon enough delilah came back dress in a pair of black booty shorts with a dark blue crop top long sleeve on under what a orange puffy vest as she sighed rubbing her face annoyed for the day as she sat down rubbing her face

"So whats on today agenda another mission or me being trapped in this stupid cave"she asked

"Nope. we've got the day off right now and should explore the town right now with some buddies m'gann and conner know"artemis said to her surprise they could do that

"Can we do that? I mean i thought i couldn't leave here"deliah asked as the metal footsteps of someone approached them

"Correction: you are allowed to explore the nearby harbor town. But you must keep your powers hidden from the public"red tornado said startling her as she screamed a little but saw it was him sighing

"Gee you kinda jumped us but….i'm sure we won't let that happen superboy here has kept things under control"Artemis said shooting him a look as he stood up carrying ghost walking toward their hanger right now which made her frown at her advances going unnoticed

As they decided to leave with delilah slipping on some boots as she tallow them outside. They were at some hangers that opened with them taking a jeep there that was maroon in color. Once inside of it artemis took the wheel revving the engine as they took off to happy harbor to explore the town right now

Once they were in the town they were introduced to a harbor town that was small but quite large in appearance. There were people all over the place with the harbor full of some ships with superheroes memorable around the place. As delilah examined their surrounding for a bit with a surprised look seeing so much sun in one place right now

"Whoa…this place is pretty nice"she commented

"You mean how its better than gotham dark and broadening atmosphere"artemis replied focusing on driving still as she wasn;t wrong

"Hey it's dark and gloomy there but ...its home since i was born there or whatever. "Delaih stated

"Really? Well i was born on m'orzz with my family their"m'gann added as she was curious about martian culture a little

"Hey you keep saying mars like that…is that how martian say certain things"She asked interested on the topic as she was glad to explain

"It's simply how we speak on mars. We usually apostrophes in our language but we also say certain things with a added z or letter to it. Like my real name is m'gann but i go by megan to make it seem normal"she explained as that was difficult to take in

"Whoa…wait people say superman is an alien so are you one or not since your a clone"She asked the superman clone who stared at her as conner scoffed looking away right now as she found that annoying

Soon enough as they kept driving for a while now they soon arrived somewhere that was their diensation. That being a small cafe right now that was sailor themed with a shipwreck logo on the front of it with an area outside to drink or have some coffee right now.

But outside right now were three people with one being a caucasian male with brown eyes. He had shaggy hair and wore a green and white long sleeve shirt with the logo of a green m over a yellow background. He wore blue jeans and a brown jacket over his shirt.

As there was a young african american girl who had tight curly black hair with it parted in the middle and pulled up to form two afro puffs on each side of her head. While she was wearing a yellow long sleeve shirt with a black skirt on along with wearing some black character shoes.

Another was a rather tall and muscular african american male with short black hair and black eyes. As he wore a form fitting shirt that had superman logo on it with him wearing some black jeans. As the three of them were friends of the two residents of happy harbor mount justice

"Malcolm! Karen! Marvin! Over here!"m'gann called out as the african american girl looked smiling

"Heyya my fellow bumblebee! How you been girl!"karen called out walking over hugging her as the other spilled out with malcolm being the tall man stare at them for a moment staring at conner laughing

"Well whos this little guy kent"he asked as ghost was nibbling on conner shirt sleeve

"It's a friend of ours pet"he said as Artemis and Delilah stepped forward with the three noticing them. But the three went wide eyed seeing the tall girl for one other reason despite being tall

"Hey! You're the daughter of famed security and safety CEO philip bryce! "Marvin shouted in shock by her as delilah forgot she had the status of a rich girl back in gotham as that slipped her mind right now

"Right i'm a rich girl….shit"She thought to herself as mal laughed walking forward

"Well should i be polite and offer you a drink for a celebrity"he asked as he didn't need to do that

"Nothing like that buddy, just don't be all weird toward me. Names delilah well nikos i aint like most rich girls back in gotham"deliah said with a snarky tone as karen laughed

"Well this is a surprise. Are we sure that megan and conner didn't become best friend with a apparent rich girl and….uh…who are you"karen asked

"Artemis crock i'm a friend of delilah i know these two and well….were both from gotham staying here actually in happy harbor"artemis replied to some surprise hearing that

"Wait, you're both staying here? I mean i thought this chick would be in gotham or something"marvin said as m'gann sighed

"She would but her mother is umm friends with my uncle and conner family. Can we sit down and we can do name introductions"She said as they agreed on that

Sitting down they ordered some coffees as they sat there for a moment right now. As they got some coffees or lattes for a few of them. With them enjoying a small talk as they got introduced to each other very quickly. As karen was holding ghost who was snoring peacefully all tuckered out

'Aww aren;t you a cute little guy? I ain't much of a dog person but hey this little guy friendly"karen said

"Unlike conner at times who almost threw marvin on his first day"mal joked as conner growled a little as marvin swallowed nervously.

"Yeah that was scary but ... .tell me what does a girl like you being friends with in the lower class want? I mean you single"marvin said with a grin as karen scoffed

"Marvin doesn't do that. Seriously we just met a celebrity surprised more people aren't coming to talk to us"karen replied as delilah was sick of this just deciding to flat out say it

"Hey buddy wanna know if i'm single"She said confusing them as marvin smirked

"Are you offering me your number"he asked as she presented him something else the middle finger as she told her preferred person

"Nope! I'm into girls so but off buddie i don't do sausage you…might have a tiny pickle no offense"She teased back making marvin embarrassed as mal flinched feeling the pain of his friend manhood as karen laughed at that

"Ohhh i like her already someone swinging for the opposite team i ain't into yah. Me and mal here are happily dating"karen said staring at her boyfriend as mal took a sip of his drink for a moment thinking of something

"Hey why don't we all head out for the mall or something beats having to hang here all day"malcolm suggested as they loved it

"Good idea. It'll be a lot of fun"Artemis replied as they boarded the jeep that had some room for them. Quickly they drove off to the mall right now for the day as Delilah was happy to meet some new people here right now for the time being.

10:23 am happy harbor mall

It was a half hour after they left from the cafe and headed to the mall. It wasn't as grand as most malls but it was decent in size. As people were coming in and out of the mall all at once. But once they parked their delilah made sure to avoid any prying eyes because if she saw them they might start questioning why some rich girl is all the way in this simple town. But once inside they were welcomed by the sweet airconditioning of the mall right now

It was a immense relief as artemis stretched her back out for a moment sighing

"Sweet air conditioning but…what are we gonna do about you"She said pointing at ghost who was on a leash as karen cupped her chin

"I rather not leave the little guy in a car or something. Maybe we can take him inside i'm sure security will be fine with it"karen replied

"Sure but lets put you on a leash"deliah said placing a leash on her pet as she eyed conner handing him it making him look puzzled

"Why should i have this?"he asked

"Your attached to the dog simply as that besides let's get going and start shopping for some new clothes."m'gann said walking forward with the girls as malcolm sighed being the pack mule for his girlfriend right now as marvin just studied the place in awe for today

The seven of them started to enjoy what the mall has to offer right now. As they visited a few stores for the day right now to get some clothes or other items. They visited some campaign store checking out what they had on hand at the time. Along with that their was also the candy store obviously as they messed around in their getting some things

But to be nice to the boys of the group they visited a tech store for Marvin who eyed some new laptop he hoped to purchase some day. Along with Malcolm and Conner checking out the sporting section but Superboy just kept to himself like he always did during his time in town at times.

Though after some time they soon decided to get some grub for the day in the food court after a whole hour here. As they ordered some chinese with marvin drinking a soda as he sighed setting his drink down

"So you guys hear what been circling around the news since last night"marvin questioned

"Really what happened?"artemis asked

As Karen went a little wide-eyed"oh right I heard about this. Last night in california a researcher for marine biology was rescued by some sidekicks or whatever. But there's this ongoing investigation in some oil tycoon or whatever"karen mentioned as the four teen superheroes knew who that was

"Oh really? That must be exciting and great for the atlanteans who might get affected by the oil rig"m'gann replied but marvin had other news actually

"No way. You wanna hear something more interesting you know the leaguer named revenant right"marvin asked excited

"Yeah I do. But superman is more my style hence my preferred shirt"mal replied making superboy internally scoff at the person DNA he shares for his life as artemis was intrigued

"What about him?''she asked as Marvin pulled his phone out. Before showing them a news article with revenant announcing something as of today right now as he played the news clip

"Relevance! As of this morning you said you had a announcement to make for everyone"a newscaster said as revenant smiled in the frame with his mask on as he smashed his fist together

"I do my dear. As of last night i've taken on the mantle of my fellow leaguer on accepting a partner of myself. A new hero out on the field of our world"he said to their surprise, especially Delilah hearing that intentional listening right now.

As the news feed continued"I am glad to announce I've taken on a new little hero on the scene that is my new partner wraith! Sadly I didn't bring her. The poor girl got…sick before I could have her come and introduce herself to the people of our world. I revenant now have a new partner in my crime fighting spree"he announced as the feed cut with her being in shock

"Whoa that guys got a partner….who the heck is this wraith chick"karen asked as marvin pulled up a image he found

"No clue might have been this chick sighted back in gotham. Some people say they saw someone in a homemade suit and linked it to her"he said pulling another article up as he did they saw what the article read with artemis taking it right now in her hands.

"In Gotham people are already speculating the sighting of a strange girl in a homemade outfit might be linked to a revenant new sidekick. But that is only speculation since this mysterious person could be a new villain on the scene.``artemis said, eyeing the rest seeing it talk about Richie being paralyzed as she refused to say that handing Marvin back his phone for a moment.

"So what a new superhero is on the town big deal"conner replied annoyed on this topic as karen laughed

"It's a new girl superhero apparently. Better be we need some more women superheroes on the justice league their all…hmmm boys"karen replied as they found that amusing as they talked for a bit before someone approached them laughing for a moment

"Dear god, I visited this stupid town since my mother wanted to visit it for a campaign. But all i see is the bitch from school"a familiar voice called out as delilah growled hearing that voice right now

"Becky dent ... .ohhhhh you have you be kidding me"she muttered aloud turning to the source to see that scumbag infront of her right now along with a few of her posey right now. Along with her having a smug look on her face

"Uhhhh who the heck are you?"malcolm questioned as artemis stared at her

"It seems someone from our school followed us. Stalker much"artemis spat as becky laughed with a smug look

"Well at least i aint the little bitch who broke my nose. How ya been nikos….no wonder you haven't come back to school you must have moved to this piss water of a town"becky taunted making deliah growl but karen scoffed stepping forward staring at her

"Uhhh i don;t know who you are but i can already tell you're a jerk. I suggest you leave right now or else"karen warned as one of the cronies laughed into a scoff

"Or what?''she asked as suddenly a splashing sound was heard. As karen had a smug look on her face with her holding an empty cup as she placed it onto becky head who eye began to twitch right now

"That I was gonna do that. You're in our town now girly I suggest you leave and run back to your momma "Karen said as Malcolm held his laugh back with Marvin recording this on his phone. As walking over someone called out to them right now

"Hey! You're messing with my girl!''someone shouted as they looked over toward the source. As it belonged to a seventeen year old boy with fair skin and brown hair cut short. Along with having a muscular appearance to him but he had green eyes. As he was a letterman jacket for the gotham academy football team and some blue jeans with this being the dent girl boyfriend.

"Oh great the ox…heyya markie how's your nose since i broke it"deliah taunted as mark growled at her pointing a finger toward her

"Shut up bitch. Who touched my girl because we got a problem"mark said as mal stood up crossing his arms towering over the bully right now

"You wanna touch my girl then we got a problem friend.'' Mal said, jabbing a finger in his chest. With mark glaring back noticing conner their staring him down feeling a menacing presence from him as he scoffed grabbing his girlfriend by her arm

"Let's get you cleaned up your ma gonna wanna have you for the press conference"she said as becky scoffed yelling a few death threats in the mall as marvin laughed as they left

"That was sweet! First day meeting the new girls and we got some drama smile for the camera"he said to m'gann as karen pushed it away slightly before having an idea form in her mind

"Hey where all stressed out come with me i know a place we can destress for the weekend"she said with a smile as they followed her

They soon arrived at their designation which was a two story building with a green roofed tile. Along with that there was some steam coming from the back of it along with that a door that said what this place was. A hot spring which surprised artemis and some others for a moment

"This place has a hot spring"artemis asked

"Yep this place is awesome. I heard rumor that wonder woman herself visited this place before the league moved away from here"marvin said

"Then let's go inside but uh let's leave our little friend here with the owner. I know them.'' Karen said as they stepped inside of the establishment. There was a wall full of bath supplies on it along with some products to buy. But at the counter was someone right now that being a man

The man was in his late thirties having an Italian descent to him and African American skin. There was also how he had on a navy blue polo shirt with a pair of tan khakis on with a slight muscular build. Along with having a beard that was black with a pair of dreadlocks as karen smiled

"Heyya uncle taylor how you been"karen said to the man who was her uncle as he laughed

"Well if it isn't my lovely sister daughter how you been darling"taylor said as karen smiled hugging him for a moment

"Been great but i'd like you to meet more of my friends and some new ones"karen said as he eyed them going wide eyed on the sight of the bryce industries heir

"Well I'll be a celebrity in my mitts. Should i roll out the champagne and red carpet deary"taylor asked

"No thanks but umm…could you watch my dog be careful he's a fighter"deliah said, presenting a ghost who chomped on the air as the man chuckled while taking him. Before handing a key to his niece for a room

"We have available private rooms down the hall to enjoy"he said as they did with them splitting off onto the boys and girls side. After getting undressed and losing their clothes on the girl side they all slipped into the water of the hotspring

As it was a decent size area with rocks decorating the landscape along with that steam rises off the ground. As right now in the hotspring delilah sighed letting her long white hair in the water down with a look of content on her face. As the towel around her covered most of her upper body to her upper thigh along with showing some of her curves off with some cleavage as well.

While for artemis she had a towel wrapped around her body showing off her long legs as it reached to her upper thigh almost. Along with showing off her toned arms and legs for everyone to see. There was also how she showed off some cleavage right now

While Karen enjoyed a nice soak, the towel wrapped around her small frame with her letting her afro puff down for now. Along with showing off her legs and arms with some cleavage peeking out from her towel.

Then it was the martian who was in her human disguise showing off her long legs and arms right now. Along with the towel wrapping around her waist reaching her middle thigh still leaving her legs exposed. But she had a small hint of red on her face from the heat a little since martian hated the heat but she could managed this

"Ohhhh my god this is sooo nice i feel relaxed"artemis said as she had a content look

"God you said it…my leg is killing me from last night's elijah said on instinct

"What happened to your leg"karen asked as they realized their mistake as she came up with a quick lie

"Ohhh i just tripped and a piece of glass hit my leg…i'll be fine doctor said it didn't hit anything major"delaih said with a quick lie as karen went uh huh.

As they began to soak for a bit a grin came to Karen's face right now, eyeing her friend in the spring. As she slowly swam over toward her before suddenly m'gann went red in the face by something

"Well Megan here looks ready to pass out ... .are you embarrassed girly"Karen said groping the poor girl's chest as the Martian went very red in the face experiencing a strange earth custom…teasing.

"I…i w-what are you doing karen!?"She screeched as karen hummed before pinching her chest with a small grope making her blush more as artemis just felt weirded out by this with deliah blushing massively on the girl on girl action

"Come on it's some light fun besides…i know someone getting a nice eyeful of this"karen said to delilah with a grin as the girl blushed at that before clearing her throat

"Well ummm…okay i swing for girls but umm ... .stop it…stop it you"deliah said with a red face staring at the martian for a bit admiring her body for a moment before blushing. With m'gann tearing herself away from karen covering herself up right now

"God why….i thought people wouldn;t act like this"m'gann said covering herself as artemis stared at her friend/teammate before eyeing delilah seeing her staring at her bushing with her smiling at that wondering if there would be possible chemistry there.

"Well I mean it's normal for us girls but let's get out and dry off '' Karen replied as they did that, calling it a day and regrouping with the boys. As the four superheroes in disguises bid them goodbye heading back to mount justice

Mount justice september 16th 7:37 pm

As they got back they were greeted by a red tornado as they all made their way to their own rooms. Delilah and Artemis walked with each other as the ghost stayed the night in the corner room as he followed the clone to bed. With delilah having a small smile on her face

"Today was nice thanks for doing that to cheer me up"deliah said

"No problem but…did i catch you eyeing the martian of the group i think"she asked with the girl blushing mad red hearing herself be accused on that right now

"M-me?! I mean ummm well…ummm...no! I mean she's probably into her own species. I umm…night!''she said, running back to her room for the night. Once she did, Artemis rolled her eyes walking away glancing back slightly as she turned a corner.

As down the hall reappearing was m'gann who was blushing on her green skin right now hearing that. As for the martian she was discovering one thing that was being attracted to her new teammate it seems.

This was the warning i meant! I loved the little dynamic of conner and m'gann in the show but i wanted to test the waters with this. I mean this is an alternative universe you had to expect something to change! But don't worrie I have ideas for a charater i'll introduce later to make you interested. Heres a hint for her...hex...thats literally it. Sorry and please show me mercy for doing this!
