Chapter Seventy-Six
The Caseys Celebrate Two Years – Part One
He had a plan. A secret plan. A plan to give his wife an anniversary to remember, as it will definitely be the last one that they can ever celebrate like this; that they can celebrate alone without having to worry about having to (a) find childcare for their children, or (b) have to worry about sick kids that they will not want to leave with his mother-in-law. But today, they didn't need to worry about that; as today, they just needed to concentrate on each other and celebrate two years of wedded bliss. Okay, maybe not bliss; but Matt still believes that, if they deserved to celebrate any anniversary…it was this one. You couldn't tell based on how happy they both are now, but six months earlier…Matt wondered every single day whether he would ever get to celebrate two years of marriage. But today, that was exactly what they were going to do. They were going to just be together, and celebrate two years of marriage, which starts with a beautiful surprise for his girl.
And what might that be? Well, they have already decided that they are going to be staying in bed (most) of the day. Yes, most of the day; Matt of course, will not be able to spend the entire day in bed as he needs to take care of his wife in bed. And that was something that Matt already told Gabby the night before, Gabby is to do nothing but take it easy today. Today, she's going to be relaxing for the sake of our children; and that was especially the case as Matt was prepared to make sure that his wife doesn't need to move too much, which was something she needed to do today. And unfortunately, it wasn't just due to the fact that Matt wants to treat her like his queen today; rather, it was the reason why he had to change his plans (more on that later). But first, let's just explain WHY exactly Matt had to change all the plans he had for his wife today; most importantly, the fact that Gabby just feels like crap after having ate something bad last night.
Apparently, something just didn't agree with her stomach, and that led to her needing to take it easy. Heck, it was like night and day after they ate supper last night. Before supper, Gabby wanted to have her husband in bed; she wanted him to make love to her both on the eve of their anniversary, and on the night of their anniversary. However, after eating supper and making her way up to bed…Gabby started to feel like hell; so, she told Matt that it wasn't happening…and she wasn't sure that it would even happen tonight. But she told him that she'll try, which was something that he shut down right away. However, that was the only part of his plan that he was going to have to change. The part of the plan where they make love to each other, was the part that was going to go away right away; and Matt was fine with that, as he wanted to just let her rest today. But that was not something Gabby wanted, she wanted to have fun with her husband in the middle of the day.
So, they made a compromise. They aren't going to make love to each other tonight, but they may make love to each other during the day…and that's actually something that really interests him due to the fact that Matt loves the idea of. He's going to be able to make love to his beautiful wife during the day, as that's exactly what he wants to have from his wife; he wants to make love to her during the day rather than at night so that she can relax, which is going to be nice…especially since it allows him to implement another part of his plan, and it'll happen naturally as they will have a reason to do it. And just what might that be? They are going to take either one, or multiple romantic baths with each other. Matt already pre-ordered some nice baths that she can they can take together, and he already knows that she's going to love it. This is perfect, and there's nothing better than the idea for the both of them to just have a nice bath a few times today; and later tonight.
That was what they're going to do instead of having sex later tonight, they are going to take a romantic bath with each other ahead of climbing into bed with each other; it's going to be exactly what she wants, and the perfect way for the both of them to end their day. However, there's something else that Matt already knows that Gabby will love; and something that he needs to start right now, especially since he needs to deliver something fresh to her. Well, after he sets something down. While he originally told Gabby last night that he may want to rush out and go for a run this morning, that was not the truth; instead, he went to the grocery store and got everything he needed to make fresh, healthy food today. Food made from natural, healthy ingredients that his wife will love more than anything in the entire world. And that's a reaction that Matt knows will happen from Gabby today, because he just feels it in his gut that it's going to be how she feels.
But there's only one way to be certain about how she feels about his first plan, and that's to make his way upstairs so that he can give her first anniversary gift to her. Yes, her first anniversary gift. Matt actually has 2 other gifts for her. The one that she's going to love the most (in his opinion), the diamond gold charm bracelet (worth $1,400) that he bought for her; the charm bracelet that had two things engraved on the back. The first thing? XII – VI – MMXVI. But, just what is that? Well, that's their anniversary written in roman numerals; the day that their lives became one. For the rest of their lives, they are going to be one; this is the life that they are going to share forever, and there's no day where Matt doesn't believe that he's going to be married to Gabby. And that's why he got her a diamond goal charm bracelet. The other thing that he got engraved onto the back of the charm bracelet? "Te amo in aeterum." Latin for "I'll love you forever." Now, there's also some heart charms with their sons' names on them (it's been confirmed). Gabriel and Matteo. So, no changing their names.
And the other gift is the massage that he's going to give to her. He's found a way to give her a great massage to help her back, so he's sure that she's going to enjoy that for sure; after all, her back is going to need a massage at some point today. And it'll be after she takes a bath alone, which is another thing that he bought for Gabby. He bought her a bath bomb thing that helps people relax. (And before you ask, he's already cleared it with his doctor so that she can have it). But now, it's time for Matt to walk into their room and give his beautiful wife the first part of the special anniversary day that they're going to celebrate with each other. It's going to be a great day. They are both going to enjoy this day, as it's their last anniversary as husband and wife; next year, they're going to be parents as well, and that means that they're going to need to balance being parents; while also being husband and wife as they try and get romantic with each other.
And that's definitely what they're going to do today. Matt wants to be romantic with his wife, and that's exactly what he plans on doing with the woman of his dreams. But not yet, as right now he's going to just give her some roses to her right now; roses that he's certain that Gabby is going to enjoy the moment she wakes up to him sitting next to her in bed.
Matt's POV – Part 1:
As I walked into me and Gabby's room, I smiled when I saw her sitting in bed while watching some TV. So much for me waking Gabby up this morning, and so much for making sure that she relaxes. I can already see it. She's going to be pissed that I'm not in bed with her as she wakes up, but I hope that she understands that I did it for a certain reason; because I wanted to get her natural ingredients to make food for her. I just hope that she's okay with that idea. Making my way into our room with the flowers this morning, I smiled at my girl. "I think that I'm going to need to do a bit of apologizing this morning." Turning to look at me as I walked in, Gabby smiled as she put her hand on her stomach. Afterwards, she went ahead and sat up some more. "Hey, take it easy baby; don't push yourself too much when you aren't feeling good." Gabby agreed with me as I told her that. "Sorry about that." I shook my head when Gabby apologized for not feeling good.
"Hey, don't you dare apologize for not feeling good baby. I just want you to take it easy if you aren't feeling good right now." Gabby agreed with me as I told her that, smiling at me. Afterwards, I went ahead and sat down next to her. Looking up at me, Gabby smiled due to the fact that she saw the roses. "I can only assume that those are for me?" I smiled, agreeing with my beautiful wife as she told me that. Going to give Gabby her roses, I smiled when she grabbed them. She then realized something. "Only two?" I smiled at Gabby when she asked me that. "Two roses, for two years of marriage." Gabby then went to smell them, smiling at me. "So romantic." I smiled, agreeing with Gabby when she told me that; afterwards, I leaned in and proceeded to kiss her softly. "I love you." Gabby agreed with me as I said that, smiling as she put her hand on my face and just took things nice and slow with me. "I love you too, and I am ready to just hold each other close."
I agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "Whatever you want to do today baby, I'm all for it; just like I'm all for you wearing something comfortable, or something sexy for me today. I don't care what you wear, as long as we're both happy on our anniversary." Gabby agreed with me as I told her that, smiling at me. Afterwards, I put my hand on her neck and kissed her softly. Taking things nice and slow with my beautiful wife, I just held her close to me. "I promise, you will get a bunch of roses from me in the future by the way, because you are worth it." Gabby smiled as I told her that, obviously really happy with me. "And you're worth all of the morning sickness that I need to go through so that we can have these beautiful children of ours." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that, putting my hand on her stomach. "And that's why I am telling you right now, I don't need sex tonight; we can take it easy tonight." Gabby smiled at me when I said that, smirking.
"So, sex during the day instead of at night?" I smirked when she asked me that, stroking her hand with my thumb. "I may have a bit of a plan if we decide to do that." Gabby looked at me as I told her that. "What type of plan?" I smiled when my beautiful wife asked me that. "A plan that involves us making love to each other during the day, and I bought some nice bath bombs that I know you like…so we can take a couple baths together today; and we can just make things go. But, we only do them as long as you feel okay. You're my priority. You and our twins." Gabby agreed with me as I told her that, obviously glad that I was ready to do this. "I swear, how did I get so lucky when it came to me having such an amazing husband?" Gabby agreed with me as I said that, smiling at me. Afterwards, I leaned in and proceeded to put my hand on Gabby's neck. Taking things nice and slow with my girl, I smiled at her. "I love you Gabby, and I want you to feel good."
Gabby agreed with me when I said that, smiling as she grabbed my hand; after which, I looked at her and stroked her hand. Afterwards, I leaned in and proceeded to kiss the woman of my dreams softly. "God, you are going to torture me today with how much you're going to turn me on by all the kisses that you're going to give me." I smiled, agreeing with my girl as she told me that. "Listen, I'm going to go make us some breakfast. How does that sound?" Gabby smirked when I asked her that. "First, I want something else first." I smiled when Gabby asked me that. "Oh, and what might that be?" Gabby smiled at me. "I want my husband to be in his boxers, and I want a nice kiss from him as we lay down in bed together; like I should've gotten this morning." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that, smiling as I looked at the woman of my dreams. I then stroked her hand and just smirked. "So, am I getting undressed?" Gabby nodded, smiling.
Getting up, I went ahead and proceeded to get undressed for my girl so that I can give her exactly what she wants; she wants a nice morning kiss, so that's exactly what I plan on giving her, a nice morning kiss in bed.
Matt's POV – Part 2:
Walking back over to bed after setting my clothes down on top of my dresser, I smirked as I made my way over to Gabby in our bed before going to grab the flowers that I gave to her. Afterwards, I went ahead and moved them to the side table. "We can't stay up here too long, because I have groceries downstairs." Gabby looked at me when I said that. "Seriously? You should've told me that in the first place. If you already have food out to make us breakfast, then you need to go put it away." I laughed when Gabby asked me that, before proceeding to sit down next to her; wrapping my arm around her, I smiled as I leaned in and proceeded to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman of my dreams, I smirked due to the fact that I love her more than anything in the entire world. Just taking things nice and slow with Gabby, I smiled as we both slipped over in bed as I wrapped my arm around her and just held my beautiful wife close to me this morning.
Afterwards, I put my hand on her stomach and smiled as I closed the covers on top of the both of us. Gabby just smiled as she cuddled up to me, wrapping her arms around my body. "Sorry if we stay in bed so often when we live in Hawaii." Turning my head, I looked down at Gabby when she asked me that. "Hey, look up at me." Gabby nodded as I told her that, looking up at me. Staring into her eyes, I smiled as I went to grab her hand and just stroked it with my thumb. I then bent down, proceeding to kiss her softly. "Listen, I don't give a damn that we live in Honolulu if you want to be here in bed. I love you, and I want to do everything I can to make sure that you and our kids are okay. Hasn't that been the truth since we learned that you were pregnant?" Gabby agreed with me when I asked her that, smirking at me. Afterwards, she put her hand on my cheek while leaning up to kiss me softly. "Yes, yes it has." I smiled, agreeing with my girl right now.
Afterwards, I kissed her forehead before bending down to kiss her softly. Just taking things nice and slow with the woman of my dreams, I smirked due to the fact that this really is everything that I want in life. "I love you Gabby, and this is the life that I want with you. If that life means that you need to rest in bed for the sake of our twins, then that's what we're going to do. Heck, we don't even need to take a bath. But one thing that I do need to do, is give you another gift. And I can do that here in bed. I can give it to you while we eat breakfast in bed." Gabby looked up at me when I said that. "And what might that be?" I smirked as I looked at my girl, before bending down and kissing my beautiful wife. "Baby, I'm going to spoil you. And I don't want to hear anything about the price." Gabby looked at me when I said that, already knowing that was trouble. "Just tell me how much it is ballpark." I smiled at her. "$1400" Gabby stared at me as I said that.
"Wow, that's a lot." I laughed, smiling at my beautiful wife as I proceeded to kiss her forehead. Afterwards, I bent down and proceeded to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman I love, I smiled as we continued to just take things nice and slow with each other. And let's just say that this is the best way to start our anniversary. "Sorry that I wasn't here when we started, but I wanted to get to the grocery store; I wanted to get that, since I forgot to go yesterday." Gabby laughed when I said that, cuddling up to me some more before putting her hand on my chest. "I think I know who's fault that is." I smirked when I heard Gabby tell me that, before putting my hand on hers. "Oh, and who might that be?" Gabby smirked as she leaned up, kissing me softly. "I think that'd be me as I wanted you bad last night, and I was sick as hell. Sorry about that." I shook my head when Gabby told me that, not wanting to hear her apologize to me about it.
"Hey, what did I tell you about apologizing for being sick?" Gabby took a breath when I told her that. "Not to apologize." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that, kissing her forehead softly. "If anybody needs to apologize, it's me." Gabby was confused when I told her that. "Okay, say what now?" I nodded, agreeing with my girl as she looked at me. "Yes, I should be the one to apologize as I'm the one who made you feel this way." Gabby was confused as I told her that. "And how might that be the case baby?" I smiled at my beautiful wife when she asked me that. "I'm the one that got you pregnant, so I'm the one that made you sick in the first place." Gabby smiled, agreeing with me as I told her that; well aware that was the truth while she put her hand on my chest. Afterwards, I put my hand on hers and stroked it with my thumb. "Promise me something?" Gabby nodded as she looked up at me. "What is it?" I smiled at my beautiful wife; just so in love with her.
"Let me take care of you today." Bending down, I kissed her hand and smiled at her. "Let me make you feel better, and just like the most beautiful woman in the entire world." Gabby agreed with me as I told her that, smiling as she looked up at me. "I promise, I can do just that." I nodded when Gabby told me that, bending down so that I can kiss her once again. Taking things nice and slow with my beautiful wife once again, I smiled due to the fact that I am so glad that this is what we're doing right now. God, she is so damn sexy; and I am so glad that we're just holding each other close. "So, what are our plans for today?" I smiled when Gabby asked me that, proceeding to intertwine our fingers as I grabbed her hand. "Today, we're going to just relax in be, with you wearing lingerie and I'm going to be wearing my boxers. And…we're going to do something that is part of one of my surprises." Gabby smiled at me. "One of my gifts?" I nodded, smiling at my girl.
Afterwards, I bent down and proceeded to kiss the woman I love; and god, she is so damn sexy…and I am just so glad that she's my wife. "I love you, and I am so glad that this is what we're going to do with each other today. We're going to hold each other close, and we're just going to concentrate on each other. And of course, we're going to make sure that you and our twins are going to be okay. I want you to rest, because I know that you're tired; and that means that you need to get as much rest as possible, so we'll just do that." Gabby agreed with me when I told her that, smiling at me. Afterwards, I proceeded to kiss her forehead softly while we both held each other close. God, she is just so damn beautiful; and I am so proud to call Gabby my wife. Looking down at her, I smiled when I let Gabby's hand go so that she can rub my chest (which is something that she likes to do all the time). Afterwards, I put my hand on her stomach and smiled at my wife.
Stroking her stomach, I smiled at her before kissing her forehead softly. "We can do some shopping if you want…." Gabby shook her head when I asked her whether she wants to do some shopping. "Today, I just want to take it easy with you. I want to hold you in my arms and relax. Sorry that I didn't get you a gift, just a warning." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "Hey, that's okay baby. I promise that we're okay. I don't need to get a gift from you, when you're already giving me the biggest gift that I have ever wanted, and that would be our future children." Gabby agreed with me when I told her that. I then went to stroke her hand and just smiled due to the fact that this is what we both want to do right now. We want to take it easy with each other, and we want to have her rest in bed. And I mean it when I say that I want her to rest in bed, as that's what her and our boys need to do right now; they need to get as much rest as possible during the day.
Moving to kiss Gabby's forehead once again, I smiled as I looked at my girl. "Listen, how about you put it on the Hallmark Channel and we can have a marathon?" Gabby agreed with me as I said that. "I like that idea." I nodded, agreeing with Gabby as she told me that. I then bent down and proceeded to kiss my beautiful wife softly. "I love you." I agreed with Gabby smiling as I told her that. "Happy 2 years baby." Gabby smiled when I said that, before moving out of my arms so that I can get up and walk away to make us breakfast. Shaking my ass as I walked away so that I could tease my girl. Watching me ass I did that, Gabby yelled. "NOT FAIR!" I laughed when Gabby told me that, just going ahead with walking away so that I could go ahead and make us the breakfast that I plan on making us today.
