Well, I hope you liked the first two chapters of their anniversary; now, I hope you know that I am going to definitely try and make sure that this day goes as long as possible. I mean, I want to make sure that they have fun on their anniversary; but I have yet to figure out just how tired Gabby is going to be today. Do you want her to be really tired? Chapter Seventy-Eight
The Caseys Celebrate Two Years – Part Three
She was just finishing up with the nap that she was taking this morning, but she was no longer taking a nap on Matt's chest. Rather, she was sleeping in bed once again with the covers on top of her. However, there was one thing that was missing from the situation that she found herself in right now; and that was the feeling of her loving husband's strong arms wrapped around her. So, that was a bit confusing as she didn't know just where her husband went to. Or if he went anywhere in the first place, which he didn't. Rather, he was currently sitting up in bed while his wife took a nap; and he was making sure that he could figure something out. And just what might that be? Just how he can create a company here in Hawaii, and that was definitely something that they need to figure out; well, after they figure out just what they're going to do. But that was not the only thing that Matt wanted to do. He wanted to see whether he can figure out ways to just start a company easily. But it turns out that it's not as easy as he thought, and he even needs to figure out just what he needs.
Taking a breath, Matt looked at just some of the documents that he would need to fill out if he wanted to start the company; I t's a lot and there's also some money that he can pony up. There's also some other things that he needs to think about, as there are also a bunch of regulations that he would need to follow at times. More specifically, some employment regulations that he would need to follow. Then again, he must want to have employees. That's when Matt heard Gabby speak to him, pulling him away from what he was looking at as she sat up. "I can see that you've decided to do something other than just relax with me on our anniversary." Matt then proceeded to close his laptop. "Oh hey, sorry. I saw you fall asleep." Gabby then looked at Matt as she sat up, getting close to the man of her dreams. Afterwards, she cuddled up to him some as she wanted to do what he was doing with him. "It's okay baby. We can do it together." Matt agreed.
Moving to get close to his wife as they sat up, Matt smiled as he moved to wrap his arm around her while adjusting his laptop so that Gabby could see what he's doing right now. More specifically, what laws he was looking at. Gabby then proceeded to look at what he was seeing. "So, what exactly are you looking at?" Matt took a breath when Gabby asked him that, turning his head to look at her. "I shouldn't be doing this right now." Gabby looked at her husband when he said that, wrapping her arms around his bicep. "Okay, what are you really doing right now baby? Just tell me the truth honey." Matt took a breath and proceeded to agree with Gabby, before turning his laptop to show Gabby what he was looking at what he was looking up. "I'm just trying to figure out how to do this. I'm reading up how to start a company, and then I saw something about a Delaware company; and I am just trying to figure out what it is." Gabby looked at Matt, smiling at her.
"I think it's something to do with taxation last time I remember." Matt agreed with his wife, before going to open a website. "Yeah, that's it. Apparently, a lot of companies register there. If you don't do business there…yes, right here." Gabby just went to look at the website that he just clicked on, reading what he wanted to show her. "Right here. If a business doesn't do business in the state, they are only charged federal business taxes." Gabby laughed. "Well, that works." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, wrapping his arm around her once again; after all, he does want to do this together. Turning his head, Matt smiled as he kissed Gabby's forehead this morning. "What time is it anyways?" Matt smiled as he looked at his beautiful wife. "It's only 10. Seems like we always wake up at 8 since we moved here." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that. "So, that's like waking up at 10 in Chicago time." Matt nodded when he heard Gabby tell him the time.
"Yeah, Chicago is two hours ahead of us. Try having called my sister late last night to tell her how we are." Gabby turned her head when she heard Matt tell her that. "What time did you call her at?" Matt smiled. "I was just catching up on some sports. I've been meaning to tell her that we're good, and I think it was 9:30 or 10 when I called." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that, well aware that she was asleep by that time. "Yeah, I remember that I was asleep by that time." Matt nodded, smiling at his girl as they both held each other close. He then turned his head and kissed her forehead once again. "So, I am just looking at this. Now, obviously we'd own the business in it's entirety…but I am just not sure where I'm even headed yet, what we'd do." Gabby looked up at Matt when he told her that. "I thought you were thinking about wanting to maybe do construction full time baby? Wasn't that one of the options that you were interested in?"
Matt took a breath when Gabby asked him what he's interested in, not really sure. "I think that I am just thinking about how I want to do something that can help people, because I don't think that we should really keep all of this money; it's a lot of money. So, if we start a business…then we can give people jobs, and then we can also do stuff that might allow other people to benefit from things that we create. Yet, I don't want to have to work too much as I have an opportunity now to be a real full-time dad. And that's something that really peeks my interest, being here much more often so that I can be with you and the kids when they're born." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware of the fact that he was very interested in being a hands-on dad as much as he can. But he was also right when it came to them not being able to keep all of the wealth that they have. "Well, you could always give some to charity." Matt laughed, agreeing with his wife.
"Oh, I have already planned on giving some to charity because I know that I'm not going to be able to get out of that; so I have already set up a yearly donation thing. But I still want to try and do something to grow our wealth, that can also create a legacy for our kids. I want to do that, as I don't just want to be someone who has money and tries not to spend it; as that's going to get boring. Rather, I want to do something in the world." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt say that, before going to grab her hand. "I knew that I married someone who's just like me." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, before turning his head and then bending down to kiss her softly. "You know what, we can deal with this at a later date; and especially not today when it's our anniversary." Gabby laughed when she heard Matt tell her that. "Let me guess, you want to concentrate on doing something else?" Matt smiled when Gabby asked him that, as that was exactly what he wanted to do with her.
"Yes, I want to concentrate on a certain lingerie-clad woman who's currently looking so damn sexy as she lays down in our bed." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt tell her that. "I could go for some kisses." Matt agreed with Gabby when she told him that, as he could go for some kisses as well. "Well then, I think that I can definitely do that while we watch some movies." Gabby laughed when Matt said that. "Are you sure that you're okay with us watching Hallmark movies baby?" Matt smiled when Gabby asked him that, before bending down and kissing his gorgeous wife softly. "I'm more than okay with watching movies, as I just want to spend some time with my girl." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that, smiling as that was exactly what she wanted to do as well. "But listen, how about we just concentrate on each other right now; and we can even just have fun with each other…but not too much fun, and I just want to share a kiss with you."
Matt agreed with his beautiful wife when she said that, smiling as he proceeded to get up so that he can shut off his laptop. Going to shut it off, Matt smiled as he went ahead and carried it over to the desk that they have in their room for his laptop.
Matt's POV – Part 1:
As I walked up to the desk that I have in here for my laptop, I smiled as I went to open the drawer that I have before putting the laptop back down in there so that it can be hidden for the rest of the day. But there was one thing in here that I didn't expect to see…and that was the pregnancy test that Gabby took while we were still in Puerto Rico. God, this is crazy that I even still have it. I swore I lost it. Yes, I decided to keep the pregnancy test; as it was the one that told me that I was going to be a father. God, I am so glad that I found it, as it's much better that I found it now rather than worry about the fact that I lost it. That's when I heard my girl speak to me. "Baby, I'm going to put the TV on the Hallmark Channel; and I want to be comfortable with you as we watch the Christmas movies together. Are you coming to join me?" Snapping out of what I was thinking, I just agreed with Gabby when she asked me if I was on her way to join her this morning. "Sorry, coming babe."
Looking at me, Gabby seemed to be a bit confused as to why I was speaking to her the way that I was. "Baby, is everything okay?" I snickered a bit when Gabby asked me if everything was okay, because things were fine. I'm just shocked that I just found something. "Sorry, I just…I found something in my desk that I hadn't expected to find in there." Gabby was a bit confused when I said that. "Oh really? What's that?" I then smiled as I walked right up to bed, climbing in so that we could both get nice and comfortable with each other; after all, that was why I decided to put my laptop away. I put my laptop away so that Gabby could lay down in my arms and cuddle up to me as we watch some Christmas movies together. Laying back against my pillow once again this morning, I smiled as I looked at my girl (whom I wanted to come lay down in my arms). "You better be coming to lay down in my arms Ms. Casey." Gabby smiled, agreeing as she came to do just that.
Getting nice and comfortable in my arms as soon as she crawled in between my legs, Gabby leaned against my chest and just laid her head down on my heart. At the same time, I wrapped my arm around my girl and proceeded to rub her back while kissing her forehead softly. "So, what exactly did you find?" I smiled when Gabby asked me what I found, before going to show her that I found her pregnancy test in my drawer. "You're kidding. We've been looking for that for ages!" I agreed with Gabby when she told me that, smiling as I knew just how long we've been looking for it; as we've been looking for it together. "I know, and I just found it in my drawer. I have no idea how I didn't see it when I took my laptop out of my desk." Gabby agreed with me as I said that, smiling as she went to look at it. "To think, that was the first test that we took together. I mean, we already knew that we were pregnant but…." I smiled when Gabby started to say that, kissing her head.
"It was a nice gesture, nonetheless. I loved the fact that I got to experience it even though we already knew, and it was the thought that counts at the end of the day baby." Gabby agreed with me as I said that, smiling as she felt me put my hand on her stomach; the stomach where our children are currently growing inside of her. "Feeling better after that nap of yours?" Gabby agreed with me as I asked her if she's feeling better after the nap that she just took next to me, while I tried to figure some stuff out for how to start a business here in Hawaii. "Yeah, it was nice; and I felt like it was exactly what I needed after I woke up." I agreed with my beautiful (pregnant) wife when she told me that, smirking as I looked down at her. Afterwards, I bent down and proceeded to kiss my girl softly. "God, you are so damn sexy." Gabby smiled as she heard me say that, leaning up to kiss me once again. "We going to shop today? Or are we just going to take it easy as we watch movies?"
I smiled when Gabby asked me that. "We can do multiple things, but I just want you to get the rest that you need; as I think that's what we really need to put first right now. You seem exhausted baby, are you okay?" Gabby took a breath when I asked her that. "I've been having night sweats as part of my pregnancy." I took a breath when Gabby told me that, proceeding to kiss her forehead softly. "Baby, why didn't you tell me that you've been having night sweats? I would wake up with you, and we would sleep more during the day. I don't care if you don't like doing it, I just want to make sure that you get enough sleep for the sake of the kids." Gabby agreed with me when I told her that, smiling as she looked up at me. "I swear, I am really not worthy of such a great husband like you." I laughed when she told me that. "I feel the same way about my beautiful wife. Speaking of which, I wanted to let you know that we got some text messages."
Gabby looked up at me when I said that. "From whom?" I then went to grab my phone to show her the texts that we got.
Matt Casey Text Messages:
Antonio: Happy Anniversary you guys. XO -Toni
Christie: Happy anniversary future dad. XO -Christie and Violet (Christmas?)
Herrmann: Happy Anniversary kids. Cindy says hi. Money deposited.

Matt's POV – Part 2:
Gabby just smiled as she looked at the text messages that I just showed her, laying her head down on my chest. At the same time, I wrapped my arm around her back and just smiled as we held each other close. I swear, there really is nothing like the feeling of holding her close to me. I am so glad that we are just doing this, and that we are also holding ours (in a way) at the same time. But next year, they'll be in my arms; and that's going to be special. "I'm trying not to sleep as much today, because it's our last anniversary before we have the kids." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "Baby, it's honestly fine. We can sleep all we want. And we can also celebrate tomorrow too, as this doesn't need to be just a one day thing if you don't want to." Gabby agreed with me when I said that. "Just curious, I meant to ask you something; where are our plates?" I smiled as Gabby asked me that. "I already brought them downstairs, don't worry. I brought them down at the same time that I got my laptop in the first place." Going to set my phone down, I smiled as I grabbed the remote.
Turning the TV on, I proceeded to change it to the Hallmark Channel right away. "Thanks for putting it back on the Hallmark Channel. I just like their movies a lot, and they're really nice." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that, running my hand up and down her back with my wedding band on her spine; and, as always, that led to Gabby shivering a bit due to the fact that she really likes the feeling of my wedding band on her back. Sure, it's cold and it may make her shiver for that reason; but I believe that she shivers because she likes the feeling, which is always what she tells me is the reason. So, I am not going to start doubting my girl now when I would rather not fight with her on our anniversary. "So, I assume that you don't want to take a walk later now that I slept?" I shook my head when Gabby asked me that, tugging the covers back up on top of the both of us. Afterwards, I put my hand on her arm and back to rub the both of them. And let's just say this, we were both very comfortable as I did it due to the fact that this is how we love to sit with each other when we're in bed.
Wrapping my legs around hers, I smiled when I felt Gabby cuddle up to my chest some more before kissing her forehead softly. "I don't want to have to leaved bed if we don't have to, as I am very comfortable with you in my arms; and I will always be very comfortable with you in my arms." Gabby smiled as I told her that, well aware that's going to be the case. God, just the feeling of holding my girl in my arms is incredible; and I am so glad that this is what we're doing right now. There really is nothing like the feeling of holding my beautiful wife in my arms, as she really is the most beautiful thing in the entire world. And for us to relax like this, this is paradise. "So, you remember how you got me those nice baths that we can use?" I laughed when I heard Gabby mention the baths that I got her as part of my anniversary gift to her. "I promise baby, that we can take a bath later; and we can take one whenever you want." Gabby agreed with me as I said that.
"Good, because I have a feeling that may be the only type of intimate time that you're going to get from me today." Looking down at my girl, I pushed her chin up and then stared into her eyes. "Hey, look at me." Gabby agreed with me as I said that, doing just that as we stared into each other's eyes. "I have told you this countless times, but you are my priority; you and our children will always be my priority. So, if you need to take it easy and rest as we hold each other in bed; then that's what we're going to do. And if you only want to give me intimate time in the bath, then I'm good with that too because I love my girl more than anything in the entire world. And I will always love my girl more than anything in the entire world. Don't you ever believe that I'm not going to be okay with you taking it easy. Baby, I promise you that I'm okay with you taking it easy….and I promise that I don't need sex on our anniversary; I mean, we may not get a chance next year."
Gabby laughed as I told her that, well aware that was the case. "God, we're going to be dealing with two little monsters next year." I looked at Gabby when she told me that. "Excuse me, but you're talking about my sons there Ms. Casey. Last time I checked if they're little monsters…that makes me a big monster." Gabby smirked when I said that, running her hand down my chest. "The only big monster I ever have to deal with, is the one that makes love to me." I smirked when I heard Gabby tell me that, just loving the sound of what she called my erection. And yes, I am currently erect as my wife is still wearing this sexy lingerie that she has on. "Are you sure that you're still comfortable in this lingerie baby?" Gabby nodded when I asked her if she was still comfortable in the lingerie that she was wearing. "Of course I am baby, I am very comfortable because I am in your arms as we cuddle up to each other in bed." I smiled, agreeing with Gabby this morning.
Turning my head, I proceeded to kiss her forehead softly. "So listen, I found a recipe that I am going to make for you tonight for supper. I was thinking that we can have supper on the back deck? Or would you rather have supper in bed?" Gabby smiled as she looked up at me when I asked her where she wants to have a nice supper with me this evening. "I would love to have supper with you on the back porch. I don't care if I am not feeling the best at the time, I am going to do it because it's our anniversary." I smiled, agreeing with Gabby as she told me that, proceeding to rub her back when I saw that the movie just came back on. Seeing that the sound was a bit low, I went to turn it up for Gabby. "Thanks baby." I agreed with Gabby as she told me that, running my hand up and down her back as I kissed her forehead once again. "It's my pleasure." Gabby then smirked as she looked up at me. "No, you're my pleasure." I laughed as Gabby told me that, kissing her.
Afterwards, I moved to leave some kisses on her forehead, which is exactly what she wanted at the moment. I swear, this is the perfect life that we're living…and I am so fortunate that we get to live this life. There's absolutely nothing like the feeling of my beautiful wife just holding me close as we relax in each other's arms. It's what I want to do for the rest of my life after all, and I am just happy holding my girl in my arms. That's when Gabby brought something up that I know we need to talk about. "Matt, can we talk about something as we watch the movie?" I nodded when Gabby asked me whether we can talk about something. "Always baby." Taking a breath, Gabby looked up at me. "What are we doing for Christmas?"
