Part Four: Post-Late Night Meal Cuddles

The late-night meal which Gabby had this evening was quite delicious, and she was glad that she just had it thanks to her loving husband. But that was not the best part of her having that meal, that was that she was sure to be full for the rest of the night; and that meant that she was going to be able to cuddle up to her loving husband (whom did a formidable job making the meal for her) for the rest of the night. Whether that be here in the couch, or in their bedroom; that was all Gabby planned on doing with him for the rest of the night, cuddle up to him and relax in his arms. It's all she wants to do with the man she loves more than anything in the entire world, and the future father of their twins. Just making his way into the screening room after finishing up in the kitchen, Matt smiled as he looked at his beautiful wife; the woman who looked quite comfortable in what she was wearing this evening. But that was not the only thing that he was thinking, as he was also thinking about what his wife was wearing under the clothes that she was currently wearing to be comfortable this evening.

Yet, he can't help but wonder whether she's also wearing those clothes as a way to tease him; after all, she was wearing one of his dress shirts and some comfortable shorts. But there was something specific about how his wife was wearing his dress shirt for him this evening; more specifically, how she's wearing it with quite a few of the buttons undone to reveal the sexy bra that she was wearing for him this evening. God, the way this woman teases him is just perfect; and that's definitely something that he's going to enjoy looking at while they are all cuddled up to each other, here in the living room with their friends. Seeing her husband start making his way into the screening room, Gabby smirked as she could tell that he was staring at her; more specifically, the sexy way that she was sitting and how she was dressed for him this evening. Matt then decided to break the sexual tension that was in the room, specifically between the both of them. "You ready for me to come join you on the couch there?" Looking up at Matt, Gabby smirked as she got ready to play with her husband tonight.

"I don't know. I think my husband would get a bit jealous if such a handsome man like you, cuddled up to his pregnant wife; and ran your hands all over her bump." Matt just smirked when he heard Gabby say that, while his best friend was just plain disgusted. Turning his head, Kelly just stared at the expectant couple. "Bleh. Oh god, what happened to my best friend?" That's when Stella turned her head to look at her boyfriend, turning his head at the same time. "What did you just say? Did you just say that you don't want sex tonight?" Kelly gulped when he heard Stella say that, while Matt just chuckled a bit. "Remember my rules Kelly Severide. You insult my best friend when she's trying to get her hormones out while flirting with her husband, rather than having sex with him in front of us; then you risk having your sex either curtailed, or cut off all together. And that's for the rest of the year." Kelly smirked. "Well, lucky for me…I can just wait until after midnight to have you then." Matt smirked when he heard his friend say that, because that was very smart. "Hey, you said rest of the year."

Stella then turned her head, giving her future CEO her evil glare. "I know what I said Matthew. I said that for a specific reason! Now, shut your yapper, and go sit with your wife; hold her in your arms, before she decides to cut you off tomorrow." Matt just laughed when he heard Stella say that, not believing that his wife would do that to him. Turning her head, Gabby looked at her loving husband. "Are laughing at my best friend? Because last time I checked, that's something that can easily make me NOT want to have sex with you Mr. Casey." Matt then proceeded to make his way over to Gabby, leaning over her so that he can kiss her softly. "Baby, I know you…and I know that you're going to want me regardless of the fact that you're mad at me." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that, smiling as she went to get up so that she can let her husband sit down on the couch this evening; after all, she does want to cuddle up to him as they watch NBC

More specifically, NBC's New Year's Eve with Carson Daly, Chrissy Teigen and Lester Holt. Oh, and we can't forget the entertainment: Jennifer Lopez (J-LO), Kelly Clarkson, Andy Grammar, John Legend, Diana Ross, Blake Shelton, with Keith Urban and Brett Young from Nashville. "Oh, just to let you know; you are letting me watch Brett Young. I am madly in love with some of his songs. They are incredible." Stella laughed when she heard her best friend say that. "Tell me about it. I just love how good he is. He's the best, and I just love his music." Matt agreed with both of the women when they said that, well aware that was the case. "As long as you remember that he's just a celebrity crush, and not your husband." Gabby smiled when Matt told her that, liking how he's jealous about her celebrity crush right now. "Oh, is my hubby jealous?" Matt laughed when he heard Gabby ask him that. He then went ahead and just laid back on the couch, getting comfortable.

Feeling Gabby crawl into his arms, Matt smiled as she cuddled up to him before putting his hand on her stomach. Liking the feeling of Matt's hand on her stomach, Gabby smiled as she cuddled up to him; and the smile that she had on her face just got bigger as Matt left a kiss on her forehead while wrapping his legs around hers. Afterwards, Gabby grabbed the little blanket that they have on the couch and brought it on top of the both of them; just holding each other close, Matt and Gabby both smiled as this is absolutely perfect. This is everything that the couple want to be doing right now, especially when this is their last New Year's Eve as just husband and wife. Moving her hand to his, Gabby smiled as she stroked it with her thumb. At the same time, Matt put his hand on her back and then ran his hand up and down her back. And let's just say that this was perfect, with the both of them just holding each other close while they cuddled up to each other.

However, that didn't mean that Gabby didn't also let her mind race a bit at some points during the TV show; more specifically, about the fact that this was the last year that this was going to be like this. Taking a breath, Gabby tried to just push down the thoughts and enjoy this time that she was spending with her loving husband and their friends; but Matt knew better, as he could tell that something was on his wife's mind this evening. Making sure that Kelly and Stella were distracted by the show that they were all watching on the TV, Matt proceeded to leave a kiss on Gabby's forehead before whispering to her. "Hey, what's on your mind Gabby? I can see that something's on your mind babe. Talk to me and let me know what's going on." Whispering back, Gabby agreed with her husband when he asked her that. "Pretzels first." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, grabbing some of the pretzels that he has there for her. He then smiled at her.

Going to grab some of the pretzels, Gabby smiled as she proceeded to take a bite of them. And that was really all she needed at the moment, as it did calm her down. But that didn't mean that it was the end of the conversation that she and Matt where just having with each other. Rather, it was just the start. Matt was not one to let something go, not when he's well aware of the fact that his wife needs to talk to him about it more than she wants to admit. Running his hand up and down Gabby's back, Matt whispered to her again. "What's going on Gabby? We can talk as we watch the TV." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that, feeling him wrap his arm around her and rub her arm (while also kissing her forehead); which was something that really made Gabby smile. It was so sweet, and Gabby was just happy that she has such an amazing husband who'd do that for her. "So sweet." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that. "Talk to me babe."

Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her to talk to him. "I'm just thinking about how this is the last year that we're going to be alone, without kids on New Year's Eve. Things are going to be so different next year, and I guess…" Matt just caught on to what she was saying, and decided to whisper to her about what she was thinking. "You're a bit sad that it's the truth?" Gabby agreed with Matt when he asked her if she was a bit sad that it was the truth, not being able to say it herself.

Gabby's POV:
When Matt said that I was a bit sad over the fact that this is the last year that we're going to be alone, without kids on New Year's Eve; I couldn't help but feel horrible. Me and Matt both want these kids more than anything in the entire world. And for me to even think that way, well it makes me feel like a monster. I mean, these are the kids that we've wanted for the longest time. But now, I'm thinking about the fact that I am not interested in having them now. That's just not fair to the both of them, and it's not their fault that it means that this is our last New Year's Eve as just husband and wife. Taking a breath, I proceeded to whisper to Matt. "Does it make me a horrible future mom to even think that way?" Matt shook his head when I asked him if it makes me a horrible future mom. "You're going to be an amazing mom baby; I hope you know that. That's something that I can't wait to see. I can't wait to see you as a mom again. You're going to rock it."

I smile when I heard Matt tell me that. "And don't tell me anything about me being biased. I am your husband, and my opinion is the only one that matters at the end of the day; you're my wife, I love you, and I already know that you're going to be a great mom because I've seen you be a mom before. The first time, when we had the Darden boys; the other time, was when we were raising Louie together for a while. So, I refuse to let you even say that you aren't going to be a great mom Gabby. If you even try and say something other than that, then I am going to without sex from you." I laughed when I heard Matt say that. "Last time I checked, that didn't just punish me mister." Matt agreed with me as I said that, smiling as he kissed my forehead softly. Afterwards, he proceeded to run his hand up and down my back. Afterwards, he went to speak to Alexa. "Alexa, dim theatre lights to level 2." Alexa then spoke to the both of us. "Diming theatre lights to Level 2."

Sitting up, Stella turned to look at the both of us before smiling. "Ah, you look adorable." I smirked when I heard my best friend tell me that. "But how'd you just dim the lights?" Matt smiled at her. "Alexa, did you not hear me speak to her?" Stella then thought about that, agreeing with Matt when he said that. That was until Alexa spoke up. "I'm sorry, I didn't understand what you just said to me. Do you want me to do something?" I then spoke to Alexa. "Alexa, cancel." Alexa then shut up and that made me smile. At the same time, I went to grab some more of the snack that Matt got for the both of us. However, I was not the only one who decided to do that between me and Matt; which led to our hands meeting in the bowl. Smiling as I felt his hand, I then proceeded to intertwine our fingers. Intertwining our fingers too, Matt ran his hand up and down my back as we just cuddled up to each other here in the screening room this evening.

At the same down, I laid my head down on his heart and cuddled up to the man I am so proud to call my husband; he is just so sweet, and I am so glad that this is our life. The way he holds me in his arms is formidable, and I just want to cuddle up to him like this for the rest of the night. Heck, I may not even want to go up to bed. "We can sleep here if I fall asleep, okay baby?" Matt nodded as I told him that, kissing my temple as we both held each other close. And let's just say that was the sweetest thing that I have felt in a long time, especially when it's rare that Matt kisses me anywhere other than on the lips; or even better, or my forehead. But god, the way we're just all cuddled up to each other truly is perfect; after all, this is all that me and the boys want to do tonight. We want our favorite man to hold us close to him as we ring in the New Year with our best friends. Another thing I wanted though, was a bit of sexual attention; and that was exactly what I just got.

Reaching into my shorts, Matt put his hand on my butt and stroked it with his thumb as a way to tease me. Smiling as he did that, I laid my head down on his chest and just cuddled up to him as a way to tell him that I loved the feeling; god, the way this man treats me is perfect…and I just feel like a very lucky woman to have him in my life. For this to be my life is incredible, and I am so glad that me and Matt are living this life together. Matt then started to whisper to me. "I don't know if I'm going to be able to sleep down here after what I just felt." I laughed a bit when I heard Matt tell me that. "Let's wait until we hear one of them snoring before we think about leaving. Then, we can use the excuse that I wasn't comfortable." Matt agreed with me when I said that, continuing to stroke my bottom with his thumb as he turned my head and kissed my forehead softly. And let's just say that it was perfect, as this was exactly what I wanted to do right now. "No sex still."

Matt then ran his fingers up and down my back. "Unless you're uncomfortable. If you're uncomfortable, then we're going upstairs okay?" I agreed with Matt when he told me that, smiling as he ran his hand up and down my body. He then turned his head and looked at me. "Maybe we can spend the day in bed tomorrow after all of this." Matt agreed with me as I asked him that, leaning in to kiss me softly. "That sounds perfect, and just what I want to do tomorrow too. We can start 2019 in bed." I smirked when I heard Matt say that. "One hour okay? Then we find a way to make our way upstairs." Unfortunately, I said that a bit too loud. "Gabby, just go ahead whenever you want. I already know that you were hoping to stay up there." I laughed. "Girl, not yet. But we're just relaxing right now. We aren't even talking." Stella laughed. "That's because Kelly already dozed off." Matt was confused when he heard Stella say that. "Didn't he sleep last night?" Stella sighed.

"He was thinking about his dad in the middle of the night." Rubbing Gabby's shoulder with his thumb, Matt agreed with his best friend's girlfriend; yet, he also couldn't help but feel horrible over the fact that his best friend was thinking about his dad in the middle of the night, and then they went our anyways when he must've been exhausted. And let's just say that stayed with the husband for a while.
