Hello readers, and welcome to another day of chapters. I still can't believe that we now find ourselves at chapter one hundred and ten already. It seems like just yesterday I was starting to story. But now, this is where we are as we start 2019 off in Hawaii of all places. I hope that you guys have all enjoyed the story so far and continue to read for a long time. But how about we get to it today? Here we go with another set of chapters for you guys, here's Chapter 110.

Chapter One Hundred and Ten
New Year's Day – Part Four

The married couples were both happy, happy to be together and just relaxing this fine New Year's morning as they found themselves spending some quality time with each other as they waited for breakfast to be made (by Matt's mother-in-law) and brought to them this morning; and that was going to be just as nice as the time that they were spending with their wives, as it meant that the husbands weren't going to have to get up in order to get the food that their wives want. (And, in Gabby's case, needs in order to keep both herself and their twin boys fed). And let's just say that this was perfect, especially for Gabby as she sat down on the couch in between Matt's legs as she laid down on his chest. And there was a reason for that. It was because it was both very comfortable, and it allowed Matt to do something that they both enjoyed; and that had him run his hand around her stomach as a way to make sure that their sons know that they're loved, which they are.

Putting her hand on Matt's chest as she just relaxed with him this morning, Gabby smiled as she felt him turn his head and then kiss her forehead softly; and while it was not the place that she would really like him to give her a kiss, it was okay based on the situation (as she didn't want to move out of his arms just to get a kiss). If she could stay like this all day, she would do just that. However, she knows that it won't be the case as Matt and Kelly are going to go work on something together today; after all, the incorporation of their company was something that needed to be done before they could really do anything else related to business decisions. However, there was one thing that was still on her mind. And that was who else was going to help run the company. I mean, they can't do it with just the four of them; and even if Matt did want to offer her brother a position on the board, this is not the time to bring it up when…well, you know what happened.

Taking a breath, Gabby tried to keep these thoughts down as she didn't want to speak about them at the moment; however, she has a husband who can read her very well now a days…and he doesn't exactly like it when she keeps stuff in, especially not when he can help her through whatever's bothering her right now. And if there's something bothering her at the moment, then he would like to know what it is; after all, he is her husband and he's here to help her first and foremost. That's his job as her husband, and he's taken it quite seriously ever since they got back together for good just three months earlier; ahead of the road trip that really changed his life and made him realize that he didn't want to live in Chicago anymore. Rather, he wanted to go on trips and explore with Gabby. And that was definitely something that they were going to do, especially with this newfound wealth that they have found themselves fortunate to now have for their life.

A life that he could've only dreamed of having a few months earlier. But now, this was not a dream life; it was his reality, a reality that he gets to live with his beautiful wife each and every day. But soon, he's not just going to be living it with Gabby; rather, he's going to be living it with both Gabby and their sons Gabriel and Matteo. Now that is going to be a lot of fun, and something that he can't wait to experience; life with sons is going to be much different than the life than they have right now where it's just the two of them, but he's ready to take it head on as he's always wanted to have children. But more specifically, he's always wanted to have children with Gabby; as you know, this has always been a dream for the couple. And now that it's coming true, the couple couldn't be happier and just want to enjoy this pregnancy; and afterwards, they want to enjoy each and every day of their life as parents. But for now, they are just waiting for their arrival.

And, at the same time, they are also starting to set up the legacy that they want to leave for their children; the business that Matt hopes to run with his children someday, and then pass it on for years to come. That's exactly what both he and Gabby want, and they truly are ready for whatever life throws at them; and that especially includes all the drama that they'll deal with in the future, and are already dealing with at the present. God, the conversation that he's going to have with both his sister and brother-in-law at supper tonight; oh, did I forget to mention that they are coming over for supper tonight? Yes, so that's going to be a lot of fun; having to talk to both your sister, and to your brother-in-law about how they slept with each other last night. God, he still hates that he even needs to think about that right now; especially when he's already trying not to explode at his best friend for doing what he did to Gabby's car. God, he still thinks that his friend is really stupid.

I mean, you really take someone's car without asking? Oh, and then you damage it; that's something that they are going to definitely going to continue talking about, preferably away from Gabby so that she doesn't get affected from the stress that will inevitably result from the conversation/confrontation that he's going to have with his best friend over what he did. However, that was something that he could do later; right now, his wife would rather have him participate in the conversation that they're having with their friends this New Year's Day morning. "Baby. You're quiet. Why aren't you talking?" Matt took a breath as he turned to look at his best friend. "Just trying to breathe and control my anger over the inevitable conversation that we're going to have again today in the office." Taking a breath, Kelly knew right away that they were going to talk about it; I mean, of course he isn't just going to drop it right away after having sex with Gabby.

Moving her hand to that of her husband's, Gabby intertwined their fingers and then whispered to him. "Just remember that you need to breathe when you talk to him baby, and that he's your best friend." Matt agreed with his wife when she reminded him that he is her best friend, and that he's going to need to breathe as he talks to him about it. "Of course, I promise that I'm going to breathe as I talk to him." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that he was going breathe as he spoke to Severide while they're working on the incorporation papers today, which was Kelly's punishment for having done what he did. He's not just going to let him lay around the house, living in luxury that he hasn't earned yet; not when he damaged his car, and is inevitably going to have to pay for it somehow. He needs to earn enough money so that he can help his best friend pay for all of the damages that he made to his car. Only then can he really forgive him.

I mean, it's also a brand-new car; and his wife's car nonetheless that he damages. He just got the cars recently, and he didn't want them to be scratched. "Oh, I just thought of something. Gabby, I need you and Stella to do something today." Turning their heads, Gabby and Stella both looked at the new CEO when he said that he needed them (specifically) to do something today. "And what would that be?" Matt smirked when the two of them asked him that question. "Today, I want you guys to create the logo that you guys want to use for your clothing line; then I can bring it to my meeting Thursday." Looking at his best friend, Kelly Severide wasn't exactly sure just which meeting that they were going to this Thursday. "Which meeting is that again? I think you already mentioned it, but we're still waking up." Matt smiled. "Serhant Law Group. Lawyers. We're going to do our legal work on Thursday and get ourselves incorporated and stuff."

Severide agreed with his boss when he said that, but he still wasn't sure why he had to go to the meeting. "And why do I have to go to the meeting with your lawyers?" Matt sighed. "Because you need to be there to sign documents." Kelly just laughed when he heard his friend say that, as he didn't understand which ones. "Last time I checked, this was your company." Matt then went to clarify to his friend. "Well, last time I checked; I'm having twins in May, and you need to be on the documentation so that you can run the company while I'm on paternity leave. And that means that you need to have signing authority for documents, and you need to have the ability to speak to my lawyers. Therefore, you need to be there so that I can have you sign the documents and list you as a secondary agent for the company." Gabby turned to look at her husband when he said that. "And I don't have to be there? Aren't I going to be an agent of the company too?"

Matt sighed when he heard Gabby ask him that, not exactly ready to have this conversation yet. However, he also knew that he didn't exactly have a choice in the matter. Somehow, he was going to have this conversation with his wife; and he'd rather just get it over with right now. "Not yet. I want to wait until after your maternity leave that you're going to take. Honestly baby, I am still worried every day that you're going to push yourself when it comes to working on the designs; so I don't want to get you involved in the entire company yet, when I am barely okay with you just doing the designs. It can distract you, and I don't want people calling you if they can't reach you; it'll just put stress on both you, and the twins. So for a year, I think it'll just be me and Kelly." Thinking about what her husband just told her, Gabby agreed because his logic make clear sense; and she also knows herself, pretty much the same as her husband knows how she would react.

If she got a call from somebody, it would make her worry for her husband and the business; and that definitely wouldn't be good when she's pregnant, nor would it be good when she's taking care of two young sons. That's when Gabby thought about something, something that they all need to talk about; and that would be how the first few months of the twins' life is going to go, as Matt will need to split his time between her, their boys, and the company. As much as Matt says that he's okay with taking a paternity leave, she knows that will never be able to happen. "Actually, that brings up something that we all need to talk about together." Matt was confused when her head Gabby say that. "And what would that be babe?" Gabby took a breath when Matt asked her that. "That would be how things are going to work during the first year of the twins' life." Matt was a bit perplexed as to just what his wife was trying to say, before turning to look at Stella this morning.

"Okay, I think this is where I am going to have to ask you to try and decipher what she means Stella; you're a woman, you tell me what she means." Stella sighed when she heard the husband say that, as she would definitely like to do that if she could; however, as much as she is Gabby's best friend, she is just as perplexed as the husband is at the moment when it comes to just what his wife is trying to say. "Matt, I hate to say this…but I am just as perplexed as you are when it comes to what Gabby is trying to tell us at the moment." Taking a breath when she heard both her husband and best friend say that, Gabby knew that she was going to have to explain just what she means to the both of them; that way, they can have a productive conversation together as friends. The reason that she wants to involve Kelly and Stella in this conversation, is due to the fact that they are going to be a lot of help when it comes to making sure that the companies run smoothly.

Taking a breath, Gabby proceeded to start telling both her husband (and her friends) what she's thinking about at the moment. "What I am thinking about is, how this will all work when it comes time for us to have the kids." Turning his head, Matt looked at his wife. "I am going to be at the hospital with you, that's final." Gabby took a breath when Matt said that, having never doubted that would be the case; grabbing his hand, she stroked it with her thumb and smiled at him. "Baby, I already knew that was going to be the case; I don't want you to think for one minute that I didn't think you were going to be at the hospital with me when I gave birth to our children." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife when she said that, proceeding to give her a kiss as they started this conversation this morning. "But what I am thinking about, is after I give birth. I mean, I am going to want you in bed with me; so are you going to work from bed, or are you going to take leave?"

Matt's POV:
When Gabby finally clarified just what she was trying to ask me, I finally understood just what she was trying to figure out; and that was whether I was going to be splitting my time between the company, as well as her and the boys. And the truth was, I hadn't even thought that far yet; however, I definitely am now. And when I think hard about what I want to do after Gabby gives birth to our twins, I already know for a fact that I'm going to want to spend as much time as possible with her and the twins. That's just a fact, and it's something that Gabby is never going to have to worry about. I can already promise her that. And I am glad that I have the ability to promise her that, as I know that it'll relieve her of some of the worries that she's probably dealing with right now. She needs to know that I am going to be there for her after she gives birth, and that's not something that she's ever going to have to worry about; and I truthfully mean that forever, until the day I die.

I mean, these aren't the last children that we're going to have; and it's going to be the same scenario both when she gives birth this time, and any future time that she gives birth to our kids. "Baby, don't you even worry about whether I am going to take time to take care of you and the kids after you give birth. I mean, I haven't decided whether I'm going to work from bed. However, that's only something that I can decide after we see that the scenario is; and what condition you're in. Heck, if the twins need both of us there…then I am definitely going to be sitting in bed with you, and be there for you and our boys. But if you're okay, then maybe I might slip away here and there; but only when you're resting and taking a nap. And even if I did slip away, I wouldn't leave the house; I would stay home, and just be a call way for me to come be with you and the kids. I mean that babe, and that's not something that you ever have to worry about." Stella agreed with me.

"And if Matt has to go to a meeting, me and your mom can both help out and cover for Matt. I mean, not like I'm going to be doing much else other than sitting in bed with you; I'm going to want to spend time with my girl, and my nephews." I smiled when I heard Stella say that, really liking the idea of her helping Gabby just relax in bed, especially when I might need to step away. "But like I just said Gabby, I would just be a call away from you and the boys. Whether I'm in the room, or I'm in my office; I will come take care of you before I do anything else." Gabby agreed with me when I told her that, well aware that will always be the case. I mean, what husband doesn't want to take care of his wife and kids right after his gorgeous wife gives birth to the two most adorable boys in the whole wide world? "Baby, you need to relax and take it easy okay? I am going to be there for you, and that's a fact that you never need to second guess." Gabby agreed with me, smiling.

Putting her hand on mine, Gabby smiled as she stroked it with her thumb before leaning in and proceeding to kiss me softly. Just taking things nice and slow with my girl, I smirked as she is very sexy; and god, I am so glad that she's my wife. There's nobody like her, and I am so glad that this is what I'm in the midst of doing at this moment. Sure, our friends may not like the fact that me and Gabby are in the midst of sharing a kiss with each other at the moment. However, I could care less about what they think; all that matters to me is what my wife thinks, and how happy she is right now that we're sharing a kiss with each other. Plus, this kiss is really hot so far. She is so damn sexy, and I am a very proud man to have the ability to call this beautiful queen my wife. Pulling away from the kiss, I leaned my forehead against Gabby's while smiling at her. "I love you." Gabby agreed with me as I told her that, smiling at me. "I love you too, forever." I agreed with her.

Smirking, I leaned in and kissed my girl once again before hearing our best friends. "Ok, break it up you two." However, we decided to torture them and just kept kissing each other. Grabbing a pillow, Kelly then threw it to me. I knew it was him, because it was that force. Afterwards, both Gabby and I turned to look at him. "Did you just hit us with a pillow?" Kelly smirked when I asked him that. "Maybe." Gabby then shook her head. "They may be called throw pillows Kelly, but that doesn't mean that they are meant to be thrown!" I agreed with Gabby when she said that, smirking as I looked at my best friend. Little did he know, that was one of Gabby's pet peeves; and she didn't play around when it came to people throwing her pillows, and that included her niece and nephew. "If I catch you doing that again, I will make your wife work late so that you can't have fun with her." I smirked when Gabby said that. "Well, only as late as you can before you get tired."

Gabby turned to look at me when I said that. "We work in bed Matt." I thought about it and agreed with her. "So, I can take a nap while she keeps working; and you can make sure that she keeps working, because you can cuddle up to me in bed while she works." Stella was not the biggest fan of that though. "Okay, I am not looking at your husband as he walks around in his boxers." Gabby smirked when she heard Stella say that. "God, that's always hot. I love the sight of my man walking around in his boxers and Matt knows it." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that, proceeding to kiss the side of her head as we continued to wait for breakfast to arrive for all of us this morning. God, I am so ready to eat.

Walking out of the kitchen with breakfast this morning, Camila Dawson smiled as she was ready to give her children and their friends their omelets. "Here we go, all of the omelets that we have ready." Looking up at her mom, Gabby smiled as she got ready to have her delicious omelet that her mother made for her. "Gracias mama." Camila smiled when she heard her daughter say that, well aware that she was truly grateful for the fact that she made her an omelet. Not many mothers would take the time to make their children omelets, especially not when it takes time. "Of course sweetheart, I am just glad that I got to make you breakfast this morning." Matt agreed with his mother-in-law when she said that, smiling at her. "Just remember that we're going to order delivery at lunch and supper. Feel free to join us at supper, as I think Antonio and my sister will be joining us." Camila then groaned.. "I swear, he better not bring that woman he slept with last night."

Looking at his mother-in-law, he got a bit worried. "I mean, why would you sleep with a man when he has children?" Matt then got a bit mad. "Uhm Camila, careful what you say next because I know that woman." Camila then looked at her son-in-law when he said that. "You do? Oh lord, did you…" Gabby then went to stop her mom. "MOTHER! That was not what he means. The woman that Antonio slept with last night was Matt's SISTER!" Camila just looked at Matt when he said that. "I am so sorry Matt, please forgive me." Matt agreed with his mother-in-law when she said that, well aware that she must not have known that was the woman her son slept with. "Well, I'm going to go now." Matt agreed with her, watching as she walked away. At the same time, Kelly decided to speak up. "Awkward." Matt then turned his head, giving his best friend a glare. A glare that frightened him. "Sorry." Matt agreed with him when he said that. "She's my sister, remember that."

Stella then turned to look at her husband. "And I do not even want to hear you speak about women like that, or you get a time out." Gabby smirked when she heard Stella say that, well aware of just what she was taking about. "God, I love those threats. Even better, he can't break up with you over it because he sealed it with a ring." Stella laughed when she heard her best friend say that, because that was the truth. "Oh girl, I can't wait to spend the day in bed with you; this is going to be a day filled with a bunch of laughs." Gabby agreed with her best friend when she told her that, smiling as that was the truth. God, just the fact that they are going to be spending the day in bed will be incredible. But even better, they are going to be having fun as friends; and that's really what everybody wants to do here. Sure, they may be working; but it's to a common goal. For them to start their company and get it profitable as soon as they possibly can.
