I only own my OCs, I do not own Tess, Bentley, Carmelita, or any Van Helsing Characters

On a ship heading for Transylvania, Taylor, Van Helsing, Bentley, Carmelita, and Carl were on their way there to help out the Valerious and defeat Dracula. Later after sailing, the rode on horseback, while Bentley was on a coach driven by Carmelita. Eventually, after riding throughout a snowy mountain terrain, they reached a village.

After getting off their horses, they started to travel on foot. People were staring at them, as Carl asked Van Helsing, "So what do you remember?"

"Not now, Carl," Van Helsing replied.

"There must be something," Carl said, hope to get something from him.

Van Helsing thinks, and said, "I remember fighting the Romans at Masada."

Carl and Bentley were shocked, as they both said, "That was in 73 A.D."

"You asked, Carl," Van Helsing said.

Carmelita was looking at everyone, who were looking at them, and said, "They're all just staring at us."

"They are definitely not the welcoming committee," Taylor added.

Carl was scared too, and asked, "What are we doing here? Why is it important to kill, or in this case make this Dracula mortal anyway?"

"So, we can be a bit closer to defeating the Fear Clan and stop more of Nosfearatu's plan," Taylor replied.

"And because he is the son of the devil," Van Helsing added as he puts his hat down a bit to cover his face.

"I mean besides that," Carl said.

"Because if we kill him, or make him mortal, anything bitten by him or created by him will also die or become mortal," Van Helsing replied back.

"I mean besides that," Carl said again.

"Welcome to Transylvania," said a man, Taylor looks, and she knows him, it was the man from her vision, the one who led the mob into Frankenstein's castle.

Taylor looks around, and said, "Funny, this 'Welcome' looks more like, 'Get Out'."

Van Helsing sighs and drops some his stuff and looks at the crowd. Carl then asked, "Is it always like this?"

"Pretty much," Van Helsing replied, as he moves his coat a bit.

Taylor heard some footsteps, and a voice saying, "You, turn around."

The group did and see Anna on the edge of a well, but then some then shouts out, "Wait!"

Everyone looked, and scurrying towards Taylor was Tess. She then jumps up and gets on Taylor's shoulder, who smiled, and puts her fist next to her, and said, "It's good you're alright, Tess."

Tess then fists bumps Taylor's fist, and said, "Yeah, you are too."

"It is good to see you too, amiga," said another voice, which Taylor knows is Lupe.

Anna then said, "So these three are the friends you were talking about, Tess," she then looks at the men, and said, "As for the human men, let me see your faces."

"Why?" Van Helsing asked.

Anna replied, "Because we don't trust strangers."

"Strangers don't last long here," the man who greeted them said, who was measuring Carl, and mutters, "Five foot seven."

Ann then nodded her fellow villagers, who close in on the group and said, "Gentlemen, with the exception of the turtle, you will now be disarmed."

Van Helsing grabs hold of his pistol and say, "You can try."

The villagers back away a bit, then Anna asked, "You refuse to obey our laws?"

"The laws of man mean little to me," Van Helsing replied.

"Fine," Anna said, looks at the villagers, and tells the villagers, "Kill the human men."

The man who was measuring Carl was excited, and Carl was scared as the villagers close in closer, but then Van Helsing said, "We're all here to help you."

"I don't need any help, not from you," Anna said.

"Really?" Van Hesling asked as he takes out the crossbow and extends its ranger. Anna then gasped, then ducks, only to reveal three winged creatures screeching towards them.

Taylor knows these are Dracula's brides. Van Helsing begins shooting at them, while the villagers cower and run off. Taylor then notices some shock shots, causing her to look and sees that Carmelita has her Shock Pistol, giving Van Helsing some help. Anna them yells out, "Everybody inside!"

Everyone was scared and scream, even a woman screams, "Find the children!" Carl gasps as this is happening.

Van Helsing keeps trying to shoot the brides, but then Anna moved him out of the way as a bride tries to get them. Anna and Van Helsing looked at each other, but then a bride grabs Anna, but then Van Hesling grabs Anna's legs, and due to this, the bride lets go. Taylor soon notices an awkward position, but then Van Helsing quickly moves it, and was on top of Anna, and said, "Stay here."

But Anna rolls so she was on top of Van Helsing and said, "You stay here. They're trying to kill me," she gets up and runs off as Van Helsing gets up a bit and found his crossbow.

Taylor then said, "Tess, keep Anna company!"

"Right!" Tess said as she jumps and scurries to Anna. Once she is on Anna's shoulder, she said, "Taylor sent me to keep you company."

Anna looks at Taylor who smiles. Anna smiles back, then Taylor looks at Carmelita, and said, "Carmelita, keep trying to shoot the creatures, just be careful not to harm the villagers!"

"Got it!" Carmelita replied.

Taylor looks at Bentley, and asked, "Bentley, can't we shoot the potion at them?"

"Unfortunately, no," Bentley replied, paused and explained, "To make it work, we need to be very close to them."

"Close as in point blank?" Taylor asked.

Affirmative," Bentley said.

Lupe soon looks up and see two of the brides stop, and the black-haired one said, "Marishka, while I go after the Fearbrave girl, get the stranger."

She then pulls the arrow that was in her out as the other, Marishka said, "Love to, Verona."

"Amiga, watch yourself, one of them is after you!" Lupe said.

Taylor looked at sees Verona chasing her, while Van Helsing gets his crossbow, then sees Anna running to an alleyway but stops as she yells out, "Run!" while seeing some villagers being thrown up by the third bride but are caught and saved by Lupe.

Van Helsing continues to shoot, until he ran out of ammo, then said, "Carl! Carl, it's not working!"

Carl then gets a spare ammo roll, then said, "Try aiming at their hearts," he fumbles it, then throws it to Van Helsing.

Van Helsing catches it, but sees the bride going after him, but he ducks as the bride grabs a toss into a building a cow. Van Helsing notices Taylor and Anna running, he refills the crossbow, and begins shooting at the two brides chasing them. Arrows were shooting, but luckily missing Taylor, Anna, and Tess, but then Taylor sees Nosfearatu, who then used on a man he just captured a syringed and summoned a Mannequin Decoy, then used Puppet Strings as Verona catches the decoy, who screams as she bites the neck of him, which stops the screaming. Suddenly the screeching stops, and some light came out.

Taylor and Anna got up, and Van Helsing looks around, Anna then said, "It's the sun."

Everyone looks around while the villagers come out, but then Van Helsing heard some water sloshing coming from the well, causing to point his crossbow there and Anna to gasp upon hearing the sloshing. They slowly creeped toward the well, while Anna took a sickle, ready to fight. Both were near the well, when Van Helsing nods a bit, and both looked down and seeing nothing and hear nothing but water dripping. They looked at a each other a bit, then Taylor, her friends, Lupe, and Carl noticed the sun was being blocked by the clouds, causing Carl to say, "Uh- Uh, Van Helsing?"

Suddenly a bride burst out of the well, surprising everyone and began to carry Anna while Tess was forced off Anna's shoulder. Lupe soon hears the bride ask Anna, "Do you like to fly?" She then begins cackling.

Van Helsing tries to shoot the bride. She continues to cackle until Anna took out a hidden knife and sliced the bride's foot, causing her to scream in pain and let go and for her to fall, but then Verona catches her Van Helsing adjusts his crossbow, aims and fires. The arrow flies and hits Verona's foot, causing her to scream in pain and drop Anna on a roof of a house. "What a shot!" Carmelita said.

Anna struggles as she then slides on the roof, but then catches to edge. Lupe hears some hissing as Marishka begins to fly towards Van Helsing, who was now running away from her. Tess soon watches as Anna used the roof to jump onto a tree, then after some hits while falling down, Anna lands on her feet, but kneeling which allowed Tess to jump on Anna's shoulder, and asked, "Did you miss me?" Anna smiled and she ran off somewhere. Taylor, Bentley, Carmelita, and Lupe watch as Van Helsing stops and shoots at Marishka, she screeches as she flies and crashes into a house.

Anna, with Tess on her shoulder, was now in a building, and closes and locks the door. Anna backs away, and both were shocked and gasp as the third bride was with them upside down, who then said, "Hello, Anna." The bride hisses, and after moving flips to a standing position on the floor in her human form.

Anna was scared as she said, "Nice to see you too, Aleera."

Van Helsing, along with Bentley who has his crossbow out, preparing for something to happen. Suddenly Marishka burst out screeching as she knocks Van Helsing down with a grunt, while Bentley was knocked off his wheelchair.

"Bentley!" cried Taylor.

Van Helsing groans as he was on the ground, he soon watches as Marishka takes the arrows out of her, lands on a railing, and turns into her human form, then the holes from the arrows close up and she tosses an arrow away.

With Tess and Anna, the latter backs away, and asked, "Did I do something to you in a past life?"

"Don't play coy with me, Princess," Aleera replies as her irises turn light violet, Anna turns and opens a door, to reveal Aleera, causing Anna and Tess to gasp as the bride said, "I know what lurks in your lusting heart."

Anna, feeling scared, but then boldly said, "I hope you have a heart, Aleera," Anna pauses, then said, "because someday I'm going to drive a stake through it."

Aleera then hits Anna and Tess out a window. Once on the ground, then Tess said, "Wow, Anna, you really have ways making friends with vampires," Anna glares at that remark, but then gets up, while Tess jumps on her shoulder, and makes a run for it.

Van Helsing and Marishka were at a standoff, where he wishes to get his crossbow, which was next Bentley and his crossbow, while Marishka was poised to pounce to attack him with a low hiss. Taylor notices Carl taking out something, while saying, "This should do the trick," he takes out a bottle, and yells out, "Holy water!"

Carl throws it to Van Helsing, but it was intercepted by Verona, who with a grunt tosses it into the well, then said, "Stop your teasing Marishka, and finish him while I get Fearbrave!"

Taylor was shocked, and makes a run for it into a building, while Lupe looks at Marishka, who soon said, "Too bad. So sad."

Carl then thinks, then said while turning and pointing, "The church!" Van Helsing sees the church, which has a basin full of holy water, which even drips from a faucet. He then looks back at Marishka, who grins as her irises turn yellow, and her top incisors extended into fangs.

Taylor soon ran inside a tavern and met up with Anna and Tess. They soon gasped as they see the decoy that Verona bit lying down in a table, and Aleera near it with a chalice of what Taylor knows is blood. Aleera then said, "Thirty years old. Perfectly aged."

They turned to a doorway, and gasped to see Verona in her human form, who then said, "Hello, Taylor Fearbrave, we meet at last, and hello to you too, Anna, my dear." They turned and saw Aleera is now right next to them, they backed away, Taylor was scared, but she shook her head, and got her staff ready as the two vampires approach them as Verona said, "The sister of the great Fearbrave, and the last of the Valerious." Taylor knew, that if possible, she can use her Soul Robber that is invisibly sitting on her staff so Anna will be saved.

Marishka roars as she is poised to be ready if Van Helsing moves. Van Helsing makes a break for the crossbows to get his, but then Marishka screeches as she jumps off the railing and turns into her winged form to charge straight towards Van Helsing. She hits him many times, until he was on the ground, Marishka laughs as she was toying with him, she was now ready to finish him.

Van Helsing notices the two crossbows, but Bentley was there as well, who crawled to it, and said, "Take mine and shoot her at point blank range," he pauses, then said, "The dart can make her mortal and make her fall asleep as well so Shadow can send her into where we came from in a cell."

Van Helsing thought, then nodded, Marishka saw this, gasps, then screeches as she charges after Van Helsing for the kill.

Anna tries to punch one of them, but Verona stops her, she then moans as she said, "I can feel fresh blood rushing through her veins."

"You have to get through me to get her," Taylor said as she uses the Soul Robber on Verona, but Aleera grabs her and whacks her into a barrel, knocking her out.

"Taylor!" Tess cried, as she was grabbed by Verona to toss her to Taylor, who then shakes her to wake up.

Van Helsing grabs both his and Bentley's crossbows and makes a run for the church, while Carl points out and said, "Here she comes!"

Marishka continues to charge for Van Helsing as he runs for the church.

Verona was getting ready when Aleera said, "I want first bite." but Verona hisses her to back away.

Marishka pursues Van Helsing, but just as he was about to dip his crossbow into the holy water, he drops his crossbow to reveal Bentley's, though scared yet confused about the dart, despite she was close to have it hit her.

Verona was about to finally bite Anna's neck, but then a voice said, "Uh, uh, uh, Verona, remember," the brides looked, and Taylor came to and noticed Nosfearatu, he then said, "You know the rules about killing, the rules of the Fear Clan due apply to anyone vorking for a Fear Clan as vell." Both Aleera and Verona were shocked, and angry at that, then he said, "Besides, it seems your master vill be one bride short soon."

They were confused, until they remembered Marishka.

Van Helsing shoots the dart, and it hits Marishka in the stomach, causing her to hit the ground.

Aleera and Varona sense that Marishka was defeated, and they shriek at that. They both spin a bit into their winged forms and flew off, while Nosfearatu opened a portal and escaped.

Van Helsing approaches Marishka, but then looked up to see Aleera and Verona burst out of a house and retreat, while Verona says in mourning, "Marishka."

Van Helsing watches as Marishka changes into her human form, and she looks and asked, "What have you done to me?"

Bentley crawled, and replied, "What is in you is a special potion that has by now made you mortal, you are no longer a vampire," he paused, then said, "However, it is mixed with what dart had is a bit of a sleep potion as you might call it, you will now be falling asleep right about now."

"Curses," Marishka then collapsed to the ground, they both noticed she was breathing, meaning she's alive.

Bentley then said, "Shadow, Marishka's human and detained, ready to be sent to the Manor."

"Alright, Bentley, bringing her now," Shadow said, a portal then opened up beneath Marishka, which she sinks down into it, and closes up.

Taylor noticed this, and said, "Van Helsing did it, and the potion worked, Marishka's now human!"

Tess was happy, but then Taylor's goggles vibrated, and the diamond on her staff glowed, meaning a 'what if' vision is about to reveal itself. Taylor puts the goggles down and sees the vision.

Taylor sees Van Helsing not using Bentley's crossbow, but his, which he dips into the holy water and shoots Marishka until she was impaled onto a part of the roof of the church. She does see the brides fly away as well. Van Helsing watches as Marishka shudders as her skin was cracking and changing into her human form while her wings were turning to ashes. Marishka then screams and became nothing but bones that tumble down to the ground.

Van Helsing then does the prayer cross as the vision fades to black.

Taylor takes off her goggles and tells Tess and Anna the vision.

Finally finished this chapter, and Taylor reunites with Tess and Lupe, while the group has defeated the first bride. She is still alive but is now human.
