Hi Readers: Sorry for the slow updates. I hope that you can forgive me, because I am continuing to give you updates; and that's all that matters at the end of the day right? Well, I hope you're ready for what Matt and Gabby are going to do today…because I think we both know what they're going to do after lunch, which is right now; chapter begins post-lunch.
Chapter One Hundred and Thirteen
New Year's Day – Part Seven: Post-Lunch Fun
They had an early lunch with each other, but that was fine with the wife; after all, there was a reason why they wanted to have an early lunch. They wanted to have time alone, the rest of the day alone more specifically. And that was perfect, as it was exactly what the couple need after not having had each other the night before. To say that the couple are hormonal, well that would be an understatement; after all, they want each other pretty bad. They want to take it easy with each other, and they want to make love to each other; and Gabby was ready to do just that with her husband, the moment he got back from the kitchen (where he did the dishes). While she was hoping that he'd be shirtless, she wasn't too sure about what he was going to do. But lucky for her, he was clad in nothing but his boxers as he made his way into their room today. "Wow, talk about a risky move; a move that could've definitely grossed out both my mother, and our best friend." Matt agreed.
At the same time, he also smirked at the sight of his beautiful wife standing at the end of their bed while just wearing her shirt. "Well, well. What's this?" Gabby smirked when Matt asked her that, really craving her husband as he closed the door behind him. He then proceeded to carry his clothes over to his dresser that he can set them down. "Looks like I can wear these clothes again tomorrow." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that he can wear the clothes again tomorrow. "And later, because you definitely need to get food last time I checked." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife when she said that, smirking due to the fact that she truly is very sexy. God, she is so damn sexy; and he's definitely ready to devour her in bed. Just looking at his beautiful wife, Matt smiled as he walked up to her before proceeding to put his hands on her sides. Moving her hands to Matt's chest, Gabby smiled as she leaned in and proceeded to kiss her loving husband softly today.
Wrapping her arms around his neck, Gabby smirked due to the fact that she is madly in love with the man who is currently standing in front of her clad in nothing both his boxers; the man who just so happens to also be her loving husband, and the father of her children. Putting her hands on Gabby stomach, Matt smirked as he leaned in and proceeded to kiss her once again. Taking things nice and slow with Gabby, Matt smirked due to t he fact that he's incredibly happy at the moment. And Gabby definitely knows that based on how her husband is kissing her at the moment. "God, you just love kissing me; don't you Matt?" Matt agreed with his beautiful wife when she asked him that, proceeding to pick her up in his arms while wrapping her legs around his waist. After all, he does need to make sure that she's safe if he decides to carry her in his arms. He doesn't want her to fall, nor does he want to do anything that will affect the babies. (Not that he ever could).
Just smiling at his beautiful wife as he got close to her, Matt smiled as he felt Gabby put her hands on his chest and kissed him softly. Moving his hand to Gabby's neck, Matt smiled as she truly is the woman of his dreams. "God, I love you so much." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that, smirking as that was exactly what she wanted to hear from her husband; the man that she's madly in love with. "God, you are just an amazing man; and I am so proud of the fact that you're also going to be the father of my children." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling as he went to grab her hand. "You ready to get in bed with each other?" Gabby agreed with Matt when he asked her that, smirking as she intertwined their fingers. "However, I'm not too sure whether I want to have sex right away." Looking at his beautiful wife, Matt shook his head. "Hey, look at me." Gabby agreed with Matt, looking at the man of her dreams this morning.
"You listen to me right now, we do not need to have sex right away; I just want to spend time with my gorgeous wife, and I do not need anything from my gorgeous wife. Baby, I love you; and that's all I want to do right now. You told me that you're tired, and we're going to rest. I promise that's all we're going to do." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, putting her hands on his chest. Wrapping her arms around his neck, Gabby smiled as she stepped close to the man of her dreams. Wrapping his arms around her waist, Matt smirked as he leaned in and proceeded to kiss Gabby softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman of his dreams, Matt smirked due to the fact that this is exactly what he wants to do with the woman of his dreams; he wants to take things nice and slow with her, and they just want to relax as they hold each other in bed this New Year's Day. "To think, I almost did work today." Gabby shook her head. "No working for a few days baby." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that, before opening the covers so that we could get in bed together.
Matt's POV – Part One:
Crawling into bed with the woman I love shortly after she got comfortable this afternoon, I smirked as this is perfect. There truly is nothing more I want to do right now other than hold the woman of my dreams (and the future mother of my children close to me), especially when she didn't sleep the best last night. I still hate the fact that she didn't tell me that she didn't sleep the best, because that makes me feel horrible. "So, you said that you wanted to do something before we take a nap?" Gabby agreed with me when I said that. "Were you just not telling me…because you didn't want to advertise the fact that we're about to have sex with each other?" Gabby smiled when I asked her that, slipping extremely close to me before putting her hand on my chest; moving my hand to hers shortly after, I smiled as I bent down and then proceeded to kiss her softly. Just taking things nice and slow with the woman of my dreams, I smirked as I just looked down at my beautiful wife.
"I can only imagine how comfortable you are in my arms right now." Gabby smiled when I said that I can only imagine how comfortable she is in my arms right now. "Oh, I am extremely comfortable in my dreamy husband's arms. I will always be comfortable whenever I'm laying down in bed with him. That's just a fact that he will never have to question." I smiled when I heard her tell me that, stroking her hand with mine as I stared into her eyes. "You know, I'm happy right now." Gabby was confused when she heard me say that. "And why wouldn't you be happy right now?" I smiled when Gabby asked me that. "I mean, compared to how I normally feel. There's just comfortable about us holding each other close that makes me smile more than anything in the entire world. Heck, hold you and the kids makes me smile; and it makes me believe that this is already the best New Year's Day that I have ever had with you." Gabby smiled, agreeing with me as I said that.
"Our third as husband and wife." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that it was our third New Year's Day as husband and wife. "I still love being able to call each other that. I know that it's already been over two years since we got married, but it doesn't feel like it's been that long. Time has just flown by." Gabby smiled when I said that, agreeing with me. "God, we are really going to have to figure out what we can do when we have twins." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that, proceeding to move my hand to her stomach while stroking it with my thumb; which was exactly where she wanted me to put my hand right now. "Baby, we're going to figure it out. And we're going to make sure that our marriage stays strong the entire time. I can already promise you that." Gabby agreed with me when I said that, grabbing my hand at the same time. "Believe me, I never questioned that." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that, smiling as we held each other's hands.
"I still can't believe that it's only a little less than 5 months before we meet the boys." Gabby smiled when I mentioned that it's a little less than 5 months until we meet the boys, which is something that we are both extremely thrilled about. I mean, why wouldn't we be happy over the fact that we're going to be parents in less than 5 months. "It's about time." I just laughed when I heard Gabby say that, moving my hand to the side of her face before leaning in to kiss her softly. "I think I might wait until Thursday to work again, we have that meeting that day; so I can work then. I just want to lay down with you for a while." Gabby agreed with me when I said that, smiling at me. "And tonight, we get to be alone some more." Gabby agreed with me when I said that, smiling as she grabbed my hand before intertwining our fingers. "And even better, we get more alone time after that." I agreed with Gabby and just smiled as I stroked her hand with my thumb.
Bringing her hand to mine, I smiled as I kissed it while we both just held each other close as we just relaxed today. "Can I ask you a question?" Putting her hand on my face, Gabby agreed with me. "Of course, you can always ask me questions Matt, what is it?" I smiled at Gabby when she told me that, leaning in to kiss her softly. "Do you regret spending all this alone time together?" Gabby shook her head when I asked her whether she regrets spending all of this time alone together. "Of course, I don't regret it. I love spending time with you, especially when we're alone. I also like the sight of you shirtless in bed." I smiled when I heard Gabby say that, wrapping my arm around her waist before tugging her body against mine as much as I could. Leaning in, I smirked and just started to take things nice and slow with Gabby. I then decided to roll over on top of her so that I could just take things nice and slow with my beautiful wife. "Wait, slow down baby." I looked at Gabby.
"Isn't this what you want?" Gabby nodded as I asked her whether this was what she wanted, it being clear to me what she does want this. "Hey, of course I want it baby. I want you to do this. But I just want you to remember that I don't want sex." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that, smiling as I put my hand on her neck and just kissed Gabby softly. Taking things nice and slow with my girl, I smirked as this is a lot of fun. "God, this is exactly what I want to do right now." Gabby agreed with me as I said that. "I have to say, I love the feeling of my husband on top of me right now." I agreed with my girl when she told me that, smirking as I kissed her again. That's when I heard my phone ding, and just groaned. "What is that?" I shook my head. "E-mail alert." Gabby agreed with me when I said that. "Do you need to check it?" I thought about it, before shaking my head. I don't want to check it, because I am enjoying some nice time with my gorgeous wife tonight. However, what I didn't know was that it was actually an inquiry into something that I didn't approve yet. And what might that be? The reply to a job posting/alert that someone may have told him about without my permission.

Sorry if my interest was peeked. That, and I have been starting to have problems with Voight recently; so, I thought that I'd try and reach out and just see what you guys were doing as a way to figure out whether there was something that could entice me to leave Voight behind. If I'm wrong, I'm sorry I intruded.

Matt's POV – Part Two:
It's like he couldn't give me a break. A break from intruding in my life. God, of course my brother-in-law had to mention something about the company to someone that I am not ready to bring in yet. I mean, I have yet to really get that part. I am not even sure if I want to do stuff related to police. And of course, as if I could've predicted it…Kelly called me. Sitting up in bed, I took a breath and then put my phone up to my ear. "Yep, I just got the same e-mail as you did." Kelly laughed as I said that, while Gabby was confused. "What e-mail was it baby?" I then turned to look at Gabby. "Antonio told Jay about what we're doing. He's having problems with Voight, and he's looking for jobs." Gabby agreed with me when I said that. "Well, I feel bad for him to have troubles with Voight." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that, before proceeding to roll over onto my back as I just lost my urge to have my wife. Well, not have her; I mean hover over her.
Going to set my phone down on my side table, I took a breath until I felt Gabby put her hand on my arm. "Come here again." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that, rolling over on top of her once again. Putting my hand on the headboard, I smiled as I made sure that I didn't crush her or our kids; afterwards, I bent down and proceeded to kiss the woman of my dreams slowly. "Baby don't do it so fast. You still need to figure this all out, and don't promise jobs if you aren't going to hire them." Pushing a strand of hair behind Gabby's ear, I agreed with her while putting my hand on her face. Bending down, I smiled as I kissed her before grabbing her hand and intertwining our fingers. Pressing it to our bed, I smirked as I am so glad that this is what we're in the midst of doing right now. This is very sexy, and it's all I want to do with the woman of my dreams right now. I want to just take things easy with her at the moment. "God, best New Year's Day."
Gabby laughed when I said that, agreeing with me. "Is that because you're getting intimate time from me? Or is it for another reason?" I was shocked that Gabby would think that this was just because I was having intimate time with her, because that couldn't be further from the truth; this is the best New Year's Day because I'm with her. Every day that I'm with her is the best day, because I am still living my dream; especially when I thought that we would be divorced by now. "Baby, of course that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the fact that I'm happy that we're still married. I thought that I was going to lose you remember?" Gabby agreed with me as I told her that, well aware that was the truth. "Yeah, I know that." I then took a breath and just bent down to kiss my beautiful wife softly, putting my hand on her neck in the process; at the same time, Gabby put her hand on my face as we took things slow with each other.
However, I just knew that this was wrong; especially when she was still tired after the fireworks from the night before. Rolling over onto my back, I let out a sigh because I knew that this was so wrong. Turning her head, Gabby looked at me. "Hey, what's wrong baby?" I took a breath when Gabby asked me that, turning my head to look at her before laying down on my side, proceeding to grab my wife's hand. I then slipped close to her and proceeded to grab her hand, intertwining our fingers. Just staring at my beautiful wife, I smiled at her. "Baby, you said that you were tired after the fireworks; so I am not going to have sex with you." Gabby agreed with me when I said that, before reaching out for me. Slipping close to her, I smiled as I looked at my beautiful wife. Putting her hand on my chest, Gabby then smiled as she put her hand on my cheek. Leaning in, Gabby smiled as she took things nice and slow with me. At the same time, I put my hand on her hip and looked at her. God, she is just so beautiful; and I am so glad that this is everything that we're in the midst of doing right now.
"Are you going to offer him a job?" I shrugged when Gabby asked me whether I'm going to offer Jay a job. Taking a breath, I just looked at her. "Would you be okay if I did that?" Gabby looked at me when I said that. "Why are you asking me? Last time I checked, it's your company." I shook my head when Gabby stated that. "It's OUR company baby. And he's YOUR ex-boyfriend." Gabby laughed when I said that, seemingly finding it funny that he's her ex-boyfriend. "Uhm, what's so funny? I'm just stating a fact. He is your ex-boyfriend, right?" Gabby shook her head. "Oh, I've never considered him an ex-boyfriend. I only have one ex-boyfriend, and that's Peter Mills." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "Jay was using me to get close to that bar guy, remember him?" I agreed with Gabby. "Right, that mobster. Gosh, I can't believe my wife was in business with a mobster. That was not on my bingo card." Gabby snickered as I said that.
"How about your ex-fiancé coming back right before the grand opening, of the bar that you made for your now wife?" I snickered when she said that. "God, that was bad timing. By the way, still regret doing that. The truth was, I was actually originally going to tell you how I felt at the bar that night; at least, until Hallie came back." I agreed with Matt when he told me that. "Yeah, let's not talk about another woman when I'm wearing lingerie like this for you." I agreed with Gabby when she said that, before getting close to my girl once again. Afterwards, I proceeded to wrap my arm around her and just started to take things nice and slow with the woman of my dreams; the future mother of my children. "How are you liking 2019 so far?" Gabby smirked when I asked her that. "So far, I love it. However, I am really savoring each and every moment; especially when each second that goes by, is one less second that I have you all to myself." I agreed with Gabby.
"Don't lie and say that you aren't going to love the sight of me, holding our children on my shirtless chest." Gabby agreed with me when I said that, smiling at me as I told her that. "Oh, I definitely like the sound of that." I smiled at Gabby when she told me that, leaning in before kissing her softly. Just taking things nice and slow with my beautiful wife, I smiled as I put my hand on her hip and just took things extremely slow with the woman of my dreams. "You want to watch the Dick Clark special that we never got to finish last night? Because you fell asleep in the middle of it? And then, when you woke up; it was too late to restart it?" Gabby smiled when I asked her that. "Oh, I love that idea." I smiled when I heard Gabby say that. "I want a midnight kiss too, when it becomes midnight." Gabby agreed with me when I said that, smiling at me. "Can you go get me a snack while walking around the house in your boxers?" I laughed. "No, you just ate. Just take it easy."
I then went to make a face. "I want a snack like I would've had last night." I groaned and agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "And I want to watch you walk around in your boxers. I want some Salt & Vinegar Chips as well as some chocolate covered pretzels." I agreed with Gabby, proceeding to kiss her softly. I then went to get up out of bed, smirking at my girl. "I swear, people are going to hate us for how much we walk about in our undergarments." Gabby agreed with me when I said that. "I don't care, because I love watching you walk around in your boxers." I smirked, agreeing with Gabby as she told me that before going to walk over to my dresser. "I might put a shirt on." Gabby shook her head. "Stay like that and go down quickly." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that, smiling as I went ahead to go downstairs and grab us a snack; let's just hope that nobody is in the kitchen when I walk in there in my boxers this afternoon.
