Hi Readers: I wanted to let you know that I am only going to be posting two chapters today, as I have been a bit slow today in my updates. This is going to be my last update tonight, so I hope you enjoy it. So, here's Chapter 115.
Chapter One Hundred and Fifteen
New Year's Day – Part Nine
Baby Shopping
They decided to put some clothes on that were going to help them stay calm for the rest of the night. More specifically, Matt put a shirt on, and Gabby put some comfortable PJ shorts on; and they were going to be staying on for the rest of the day. And Gabby specifically told Matt that while they were in the bath today, as she reminded him that they've had sex a couple times already. But, how have they had sex couple times when they've only had sex once in your eyes? Well, that's where you're wrong. The couple actually did have sex twice: once in bed, and once in the shower. And the truth was, they were both incredible. There's just something about the way that her husband makes love to her that pleases Gabby more than anything in the entire world. Just walking over to him as he laid down in bed, Gabby smiled as she put her hair up in a bun while she watched Matt's lip change from a smile to a smirk. "Remember what I said, we're done for a while."
Matt agreed with his beautiful wife when she said that, well aware that they're done having sex with each other today; after all, she does need to relax some more. "I mean, you do need to rest baby." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that, smiling as she is very happy over the fact that she's currently in the midst of getting ready to relax in bed with Matt. Seeing that he has the New Year's Eve recording on again (having re-started it), Gabby smiled. "Do you think that we're going to be able to finish it this time around?" Matt agreed with his wife when she asked him whether they're going to be able to finish it this time. "Yeah, I think that we're going to be able to finish it." Grabbing her iPad from her side table, Gabby smiled as she closed her drawer before climbing into bed with the man of her dreams. "Maybe we can do something else at the same time?" Turning his head, Matt looked at her. "I thought we were done with anything sexual for a while."
Gabby looked at Matt when he said that, not sure what he's thinking that she wants to do. "What are you thinking that I want to do?" Matt smiled at his wife. "You want to share a kiss with me?" Gabby shook her head. "No. I want to do something for our sons." Matt looked at Gabby when she said that, before realizing what that might be. "Yeah, that's something that we really need to get to, don't we?" Gabby smiled as she went to lay back against her pillow. "Okay, I want you to get close to me; however, I need you to promise me that we are going to keep our underwear on." Matt smiled when he heard Gabby say that. "Are you specifically talking about me? I mean, I am just wearing a t-shirt and some of my boxers." Gabby agreed with her husband when he said that, smiling as she put her hand on his face. Afterwards, she leaned in and proceeded to kiss him softly. Just taking things nice and slow with her husband, Gabby smirked at the man she loves.
She then proceeded to push a strand of hair behind his ear, glad that this is what they are in the midst of doing at the moment; and even better, she truly is madly in love with the man right here. She then proceeded to get close to him and just moved to cuddle up to her man. Slipping down into bed some more, Matt smiled as he put his hand on her stomach. Putting her hand on Matt's, Gabby smiled as she stroked it with her thumb while laying her head down on his shoulder. After which, Gabby turned to look at the iPad. "So, what's my budget for baby things?" Matt smiled as he proceeded to leave a kiss on her cheek. "Baby, there's no limit to how much I am going to spend on our boys." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that. "Do you want to do firefighter theme?" Turning his head, Matt smirked. "Oh definitely. I love that idea. Firefighter themed nursery sounds incredible, because I want that more than anything in the whole wide world."
Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that, reaching back so that she can lean in and kiss her softly. Just taking things nice and slow with Gabby, Matt smirked due to the fact that this is everything that they both want. At the same time, Matt pulled away from the kiss while bending down to kiss his wife's shoulder. Just holding his beautiful wife close to him, Matt smirked before proceeding to watch as Gabby navigated around the app that they're going to use to buy stuff for their boys. "So, we're going to use Amazon to buy things?" Gabby agreed with her loving husband when he asked her that, smiling. "Yeah, I want to do that because it makes it much easier. The shipping will be nice too." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling as she proceeded to look at Amazon app so that she can start looking for baby things. "I think that I already know some of the things that I already want to buy for the boys." Matt smiled when he said that, looking at the app.
"Oh, I definitely want to buy some of these." Matt said that, pointing to some of the plush toys that were being advertised.
Gabby's POV:
Looking at the plush toys that Matt was pointing at, I smiled as just looked at them. "Oh, we need to get Dalmatians." Matt laughed as I said that, agreeing with me. "God, we are so going to be the stereotypical parents who get everything that they think would be in a firehouse themed nursery." I agreed with Matt when he told me that. "Oh, can we have one of the cribs be ambulance themed? And the other firetruck themed?" Matt agreed with me when I said that. "Yeah, we can do that. We can have ambulance bedding on one of the cribs, and we can have firetruck bedding on the other crib." I agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling as I went to go look for some of the sheets. "But I think that we need to get your chair. Or wait, we already have that from Chicago." I smiled when Matt said that. "Thank you so much for bringing that here." Matt looked at me when I said that, just agreeing with me. "Hey, look at me baby." I agreed with Matt, doing just that today.
"Baby, that was your anniversary gift from me. There was no way that I was going to leave it behind, when I bought it for you. I wanted you to have that, because I knew that you would love to have it as you fed the boys. And I am so glad that you have it. It's a nice chair, and I know that you're going to love it." I smiled, agreeing with Matt when he said that, proceeding to grab his hand and stroking it with his thumb. I then went ahead and wrapped his arm around me. Moving to intertwine our fingers, I smiled at my beautiful husband. "Baby, I am so glad that we're doing this by the way. Us having kids is going to be incredible." Matt agreed with me when I said that, smiling as he bent down and left a soft kiss on my shoulder. "Baby, I already know that this is everything that you have ever wanted to do. I love you more than anything, and I am so glad that we're going to be parents as well. I then went ahead and looked at my man as I stared into his beautiful blue eyes.
The eyes that I love staring into more than anything in the entire world. Putting my hand on his face, I smiled as I kissed him softly. Just taking things nice and slow with my dreamy husband, I smirked due to the fact that this is everything that I have ever wanted in life. And even better, I never knew that this is the life that I have always wanted. "Just curious, do you ever feel like we're still dreaming each and every day?" Matt agreed with me as I said that, well aware that was the case. "I love this life that we have together, and that we're going to have with the kids soon. Baby, I promise that we're going to also spend time loving each other at the same time by the way." I agreed with Matt when he told me that, smiling as I knew that was the truth. "Hey, I am well aware that's the truth baby. We're going to make sure that our marriage is strong." Matt smiled when I said that, leaning in to kiss me once again. Afterwards, I just started to take it slow with him for a moment.
"Okay, we need to calm down." Matt agreed with me as I said that, making sure that we did just that. Afterwards, I went ahead and turned my head so that I could look for more stuff that we could buy for the boys. Afterwards, I just went to browse on the search that I made. The query that I used when I was searching? 'Baby firefighter themed' And that was definitely the results that I got in the search. It's nice, and I am so glad that we are getting all of these things. Just looking at the options, I smiled as I went to keep scrolling. "Oh, this is nice. Look, there's this nice dresser." Matt agreed with me when I said that. "I know I said in the past that I was going to make one for you, but I am not sure if I'm going to have time anymore." Turning my head, I sighed when I heard Matt say that; and even worse, I could just hear the disappointment that was clearly able to be heard in his voice. "Hey, look at me." Turning his head, Matt agreed with me as I told him that.
"Baby, you're going to find projects that you can do for the boys. I'm sure that's the case, and I know that you are going to be more than happy to do whatever you can to make the boys some adorable things." Matt agreed with me as I said that, leaning in so that he could kiss me once again. And let's just say that I love that. God, the way he kisses me is just perfect. Rolling over onto my side while continuing to hold my iPad in my hand, I smiled as I leaned in and just proceeded to kiss the man of my dreams softly. Taking things nice and slow with Matt, I just smirked due to the fact that Matt truly is the most amazing man that I have ever met. "Sorry I still want to kiss you." Matt shook his head as I said that. "Hey, don't you ever apologize for wanting to kiss me. I am your husband, and you have every right to kiss me." I smiled and agreed with the man of my dreams as he told me that. "I am so glad that's the case, because I am definitely hormonal all the time."
Matt laughed as I said that, agreeing with me as he kissed my forehead softly. God, the way we are just enjoying each other is perfect. And there really is nothing like the feeling that comes with my husband kissing me slowly. "Is there some reason why I believe that this is what we're supposed to be doing right now?" Matt smirked when I asked him that, before snickering a bit. He then proceeded to grab her hand, smiling as he grabbed my hand. He then intertwined our fingers and smirked as he stroked my hand with his thumb. Bringing my hand up to his lips, he kissed it softly. "I am so glad that this is what we're doing right now. There truly is nothing more I want to do other than shop for the kids. My mini firefighters." I then thought about something. "Oh, I just got an idea." Looking at me, Matt could see some creative flare in my eyes. "For the baby, or for something that you want to create with your clothing line?" I looked at him. "Oh, not that." Matt agreed.
"Then what's the idea?" I smiled when Matt asked me that. "What if we get them mini badges that we make like yours? And then we use your number and add dashes. So Gabriel would be 5939-1, and Matteo would be 5939-2." Matt smiled when I said that. "Oh, and we can the same for the girls. So, they can be 3445-1 and 3445-2." I smirked when Matt said that, leaning in before kissing him softly. "God, I love the idea of having twin daughters in the future." Matt agreed with me as I said that. "Oh, we are definitely going to be having twin daughters. Daddy needs to have some twin girls to spoil." I agreed with Matt. "Or you can just spoil your wife if we have another set of twin boys." Matt smirked as I said that, however I realized that I didn't like that idea. "Okay, never mind I said that." Matt was confused as I said that.
"Why do you not like the idea of us having badges 5939-1, 5939-2, 5939-3 and 5939-4?" I smiled when Matt asked me that, as I loved the way he asked me why I was against the idea of us having four boys. "Well first of all, I want to have at least two kids to have badges 3445-1 and 3445-2. Also, I need a daughter to continue ELLA creations." Matt agreed with me when I said that, smiling as he leaned in and kissed me once again. "I swear, you are so addicted to kissing me." Matt agreed with me again, smiling as he gave me another kiss. At the same time, I turned to look at the iPad when I saw that I just got a text message from some of our friends from back home. More specifically, from some of my fellow paramedics Violet Mikami and Evan Hawkins.
V. Mikami: I swear, I am so jealous that you live in Hawaii; it's cold here in Chicago!
G. Casey: Oh relax, it's not that bad. Remember, I've done it longer than you have.
V. Mikami: Wait, I thought it was G. Dawson? Why does it say G. Casey on here?
G. Casey: That's because it's what my new legal name is.
V. Mikami: Okay. BTW What's it like living the high life? Loving being a millionaire?
G. Casey: Yeah, I do. But right now…I am in the midst of doing some baby shopping.
V. Mikami: Don't do it too much, because you need to come downstairs first.
Just looking at the last text message, I turned to look at Matt. "Does that say to go downstairs?" Going to look at the text that I was point at, Matt agreed with me. "Yeah. Want to get dressed?" I agreed with Matt when he asked me if I want to get dressed, as I was especially ready to go see what was happening downstairs.
