I only own my OCs, I do not own Bentley, Carmelita, or any Van Helsing characters

Back at the Valerious residents, birds caw as Lupe, Chiyo, and Carmelita woke up. Bentley woke up as well and went off to the tower. Once there, he was about to knock when he heard what appeared to be Carl's voice shouting, "Vampires!" then with an, "Aah!" Bentley opened up the door and noticed the awkward site.

"So, this is what was the repayment, Carl," Bentley said.

Carl looked at him, then the woman, who he saved last night, smiles, and said, "Now I remember," he soon touched a wall decor, causing it to move to reveal a painting of two knights fighting.

Bentley then said, "Now this is very interesting, this painting appears to maybe some sort of clue that Valerious the Elder left for us," he looks at the inscription, and said, "I might be a genius, but I think a friar like you could read the Latin inscription."

Carl nodded, and begins reading it, "Even a man who is pure in heart and says his prayer by night may become a wolf when the wolf bane blooms, and the moon is shining bright or cravin' others' blood when the sun goes down and his body takes to flight."

They soon see the painting come to life, and the nights begin fighting each other, but then they dropped their weapons, then one turned into a werewolf, and the other became a demon vampire, and begin to wrestle. This caused to Carl to gasp and back away, right into the couch where the woman was, making the couch flip and the woman to scream.

"That would have been a rude awakening," Bentley said.

Bentley then heard some rushing footsteps, and Carmelita, Chiyo, and Lupe came in, and Lupe said, "Que pasa, mi amigos?" (What's wrong, my friends?)

Bentley replied, "I think we might've found a clue."

Chiyo thought, then said, "That could be something, we got to tell Taylor and the others once they return, Bentley-san."

Carmelita thought, then asked, "Come to think of it, where are the others? They should have been back by now."

Bentley then said, "I don't know, but I hope they are okay."

The woman looked, and said, "Whatever this is, I wish to help. I know I did repay Carl here, but you girls helped out as well," she paused, then said, "I am Zandra, by the way."

Lupe then said, "Well, Zandra, I hope you will be of great help."

Very short chapter, but finished it to move on, nonetheless. The woman that Carl saved wasn't named, but I thought she could maybe be some help, and I named her Zandra.
