Hello dear readers, and welcome to another day of chapters. I hope to provide you with more chapters than I did yesterday, as I am truly enjoying this story more each and every day. But now, how about we get to the date that Matt and Gabby are going to enjoy? A some nice, quality alone time that's long overdue for the couple; so, let's get to it, shall we?
Also, I am very sorry over the fact that I am posting so late. I hope you understand that I do want to put quality over quantity of my chapters. I pride myself on the quality of my chapters, and the length of the chapters as well. Thanks.
Chapter One Hundred and Twenty-Six
They were currently in the midst of driving down the quiet streets of their neighborhood in Matt's Tesla Model X, the car that was not the one that was damaged. And let's just say that this was a nice feeling. After all, they weren't inside anymore; rather, they were out and about with each other as they enjoyed some nice alone time where they can just take it easy with each other. After all, it was definitely something that the couple needed to have every once and a while; especially since it's time that they'll never get back. Once they have the twins, they aren't going to be able to go on dates like this in the future; a future that Matt will never change, as he's always wanted to be a dad. And that's exactly what he's going to be in May after they have the twins, he's going to be a father to Gabriel and Matteo; the children of his dreams. But that was not what Matt was concentrated on right now, as he was instead concentrating on his beautiful wife.
The wife that he loves more than anything in the entire world, and who looks absolutely beautiful today; oh, let's face it. Matt thinks that she looks beautiful every day as it was the truth, along with the fact that he was currently interacting with his sons in a way. While he was concentrating on the road right now, Matt also had his hand on Gabby's stomach as he felt their sons move in her stomach. While it wasn't as pronounced as it will be in the future, it was at least nice to be able to feel their sons kick against his hand; the hand that would one day change their diapers in the future, a future that will always include children. And that was just something special that the future father was looking forward to each and every day. And that was something that Gabby was well aware of as she admired her husband while putting her hand on his. Stroking his hand with her thumb, Gabby just smiled as she looked out at the beautiful ocean that she now lived by.
And even better, it was the perfect way to calm her down; and it was exactly what she needed right now, as it turned out that there was another reason why she needed to get out. And that was because she just needed to be alone with her husband and get this quality time with him. And while she loves staying home, she is a bit sad over the fact that they will soon have to share each and every day with their sons; as much as she wants to be a mom, she's going to miss being with her husband too. Turning her head as she took a breath, Gabby decided to move her hand to the back of her husband's head, running her fingers through his hair so that she can just admire him even more. However, that feeling of his wife's fingers running through his hair began to concern the husband. So, he decided to put his hand on her leg and stroked it with his thumb. "Something that you want to talk to me about Gabby?" Gabby took a breath as she heard Matt's question.
"Just thinking about the fact that, in a couple months that this alone time that we're sharing with each other; it's going to be gone, because we have the boys." Matt sighed when he heard Gabby say that, having expected this question to come up at some point. And that was why Matt decided to get off the highway so that they can take to each other, and so that Matt can hold her in his arms; after all, that's what Matt needs to do for his wife. Anyways, he also needs to do something else. He needs to clarify that he's always going to be there for her. Even though he says it all the time when they that in public, there's just something about him telling her things that she needs to get in her mind in private that really make it resonate for her more; it makes sure that Gabby understands that he's always going to put three things above anything else. And those things are (1) her, the woman he loves, (2) their marriage; and (3) their twins Gabriel and Matteo.
He's going to put her ahead of work, because of the fact that she's the woman that he loves more than anything in the entire world; and he truly believes that he can't live without her, nor does he want to be married to anybody else. And that's why he's always going to put their marriage before work, as he doesn't want to ever put that at risk again. He's done it in the past, and he knows just how much it truly hurt the both of them; and how truly close they both came to almost loosing this relationship, this special relationship that they have with each other. And last but not least, he's going to put their twins before work. That's just a fact that she's never going to have to question, as he's always wanted to be a father; ever since Andy was a dad, he wanted to be a father. And now, it's time for him to tell those things to his wife. Things that they need to talk about, and things that he needs to tell Gabby at some point. And that was what he planned to do.
Matt's POV:
After getting some food for our lunch date, me and Gabby both made our way to the beach where we're going to sit together and just take it easy; oh, and we're going to talk about how things are never going to change between us. I am not doing what I did to her last May ever again. Gabby is my wife, and he's my priority. Yes, we are going to be parents; but our marriage will always be the foundation of our family. And the truth is, I think that Gabby already knows that; but she just needs to hear it from me a bit more; and she also needs to get some food in her, as she's quite hungry. Carrying our subs and drinks around the Tesla this afternoon, I smiled as I got ready to help my girl out of the car (and get a nice kiss). I love getting a kiss from my girl whenever I help her out of the car, and that was exactly what I got the moment Gabby got up out of the car. Getting close to me, Gabby smirked as she wrapped her arm around me so that she could give me said kiss.
"Hi you." I laughed when I head Gabby tell me that, wrapping my arm around her waist in the process before kissing her once again. .Just taking things nice and slow with the woman I love, I smirked due to the fact that I love her so much. "Listen, before we go ahead and sit together at the picnic table over there; I want to just say something, then we can go relax and just have it out of the way." Gabby agreed with me when I said that. "And does it have anything to do with the fact that the faster we're done our date, the fast you get to hop in the bath with me?" Moving to close her door, I smiled as I went to lean Gabby against the car. Pushing a strand of hair behind her ear, I smiled as I put my hand on her neck and then leaned in to kiss the woman I love more than anything in the entire world. Moving her hand to mine, Gabby moved it to her hip and just smiled at me. I then put my hand on her stomach and smiled at my beautiful wife this afternoon, my girl.
"So, what do you need to talk to me about?" I took a breath when Gabby asked me that. "I heard what you said about the alone part after the boys." Gabby took a breath when I said that, agreeing with me, as she was well aware of just what I was talking about. "Yeah, I know." I agreed with her, smiling at my girl. "Baby, we have that nice porch upstairs from our room. We can always go sit up there, whenever you want. Heck, I can even take you home right now and we can enjoy each other up there." Gabby smirked as I told her that. "The truth is, I think I just want to eat; and then we can go home and cuddle in bed." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that, laughing a bit. Putting my hand on the side of her head, I leaned in and kissed her softly. "And we can, because I had a feeling that was going to be the case. But first, I want to say this. I want to promise you that what we have will not change because of us having the twins." Gabby agreed with me and just smiled.
Pushing a strand of hair behind her ear once again, I smiled as I kissed her again. "You're my girl, you're always going to be my girl, and I am never going to do what I did to you in May ever again. Our marriage will always be the foundation of our family, that's just a fact that I will never forget baby." Gabby agreed with me as I told her that, smirking as she leaned in and kissed me softly. "Lunch, give drive; and then we can go home and cuddle in bed. I'd like to lay down in my amazing husband's arms as we just relax together. I know that's boring but…" I shook my head when Gabby told me that. "What's boring, is me not doing everything that you want to do. If you want to just go rest in bed, then we can do that. Gabby, you're my priority; and that's what I'm trying to tell you right now. And I'm going to show you that today, by just putting you first. After lunch, you're my queen; and I'm going to do whatever you want me to do, starting with going home."
Gabby agreed with me when I said that, proceeding to wrap her arms around my neck; she then kissed my cheek and smiled at me. At the same time, I ran my hand up and down her back. "God, I am not worthy of you." Leaning back, I looked at my gorgeous wife. "I never want to hear you tell me that ever again, as I am the one who isn't worthy of you." Gabby smiled as she heard me tell her that, before stepping close to me and kissing me softly. Doing the same, I smiled as I took things nice and slow with the most beautiful woman in the entire world. Wrapping her arms around my back, Gabby smiled as she stared into my eyes and continued to take things nice and slow with me. "Do you ever feel like we're living in a dream? Like, you just need to pinch yourself sometimes, and make sure that this is reality?" I laughed when Gabby asked me that. "If I am dreaming, I don't want to wake up…because I have the most beautiful wife in the entire world, and she's pregnant."
Gabby smiled as I said that. "And that's why I am okay with us just having a short date, as that's all I need with you. I just need short dates with you, followed by some time in the lingerie with you. We can take a bath, and we can do whatever you want." Moving my hands to her neck, I smiled as I rubbed them and just held her close to me. "And if you want to head home right away, then I will be okay with that; because I want you, to take it easy, and concentrate on what really matters. Yes, our marriage is the foundation of our family; but right now, what matters is our babies…and we need to make that that you're okay. But can we go eat, I'm starving!" Gabby laughed agreed with me, putting her hand on my face before kissing me softly. "There might be another reason why I want to take you home." I smirked, agreeing with my beautiful wife. "Yes."
Gabby's POV:
When Matt said that he was happy over the fact that we're on or way home after lunch, I just smiled at him while holding his hand on our way to the bench and just laid my head down on his arm. Stroking his hand with my thumb, I smiled as this is my dream life. I have such an incredible husband, and he is just the best man for me; I am so glad that we're here with each other and having fun. Just walking over to the bench, I smiled as I watched Matt help me set down. Afterwards, he went ahead and sat down in front of me; which was definitely something that I wanted, as I just love the fact that I get to look at my husband while we enjoy some sandwiches together. Looking at me the same way, Matt then reached over and looked at me. "Here, move your sandwich." I was confused when Matt said that. "Okay?" Matt then went to wipe some of the mayo from my mouth, smiling at me. "There, you're clean." I laughed when I heard Matt tell me that.
"Well, that was nice of you." Matt smiled when I said that, proceeding to grab my hand. Stroking it with his thumb, I smiled at him due to the fact that this truly is something that makes me happy. "It was my pleasure Gabby, because I want to make sure that you look presentable." I smiled when Matt told me that, agreeing with him as I knew that was important to him; however it also brought up something that we need to talk about. "Just curious, how are we going to work in dates when you might have a busy schedule?" Matt smiled at me when I asked him that, and was about to answer before I spoke up. "You know what, we don't need to talk about this anymore…. I'm obsessing over it." Matt shook his head when I said that. "Baby, it's fine. We can talk about it. And it's easy. I'll block off my Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Nights." I was shocked when I heard Matt say that. "Really? You'll do that." Matt agreed with me, smiling as I asked him if he'll do it for me.
"For now." I was confused when I heard that. "Wait, you mean that…" Matt then went to clarify. "When we have the boys, I'm on call. My main priority, like I said is you and our family. I want to be a dad Gabby, I want to be a dad first; and I don't to be the type of dad, that makes my sons search for him in his office. Especially not when I want to use that office for naughty things too." I laughed when Matt told me that, just letting his hand go before going back to eating my sub. "Things like I want to do with you later." I agreed with Matt, smiling at the man of my dreams. "Oh trust me, I want to do you too." Matt then choked a bit on his sub when I said that, looking up at me. "Oh my god. I swear, your hormones are giving you a dirty mouth Ms. Casey." I smirked when I heard Matt tell me that. "So is my husband, who looks sexy today." Matt smiled when I said that. "Oh, and so does that lingerie on your body." I smirked when I heard Matt at me, well aware he wants it.
"Oh, you so want me; and I am so going to give it to you. But maybe we can relax on the top deck first? You in your boxers, me in my lingerie?" Matt shook his head when I asked him whether we can relax on the top deck first, which is obviously something that he DOESN'T want to do with me. "We're going to lay down in bed and watch TV together. I just want to have fun with my wife. Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday…I'm all yours. Maybe even Monday Morning…" I groaned when I heard Matt say that. "Oh, definitely Monday morning. God, this has to be the best part of our new life. Not having to wake up at 7 in the morning, for a 24-hour shift, at 8 in the morning. And then, a first call at 8:10 in the morning." Matt smiled at me. "And now, you wake up at 3 pm in the afternoon." I looked at Matt when he said that. "No, I don't." Matt snickered. "Chicago time." I then realized that, snickering when he said that. "Oh god, I am going to hate the jet lag!"
Matt agreed with me when I said that. "Yeah, that's why we're hosting Christmas for the rest of our lives." I looked at my husband when he said that, not that happy. "You want us to host it? When we're going to have four kids?" Matt was quite happy when I said that. "Four kids, I love the sound of that. Two boys, two girls." I agreed with Matt as he told me that, smiling as that was exactly what I wanted as well. "Gabriel, Matteo, Ramona and Shay." That's when I realized something. "Oh my god, now I know where I originally heard that name." Matt was confused when I said that. "Where?" I sighed. "Fuller House. Ramona Gibbler." Matt was shocked. "As in the daughter of Kimmy Gibbler?" I nodded, agreeing with Matt when he asked me that. "I mean, I do love the name though. If you want to change it…" Matt shook his head. "We are not changing our daughter's name." I agreed with Matt when he told me that, glad that was the case. He then added on.
"Nor are we changing our plans. I want that lingerie." I smirked, agreeing with my husband; god, I want to hold him too.
