Hi Readers: There's a couple things I want to address before I start. First things first, I want to apologize for starting so late today; I have been busy with other things, and my uncle was here visiting. Now, on other matters. You may have noticed that I recently deleted chapters, chapters which were in fact written about Matt coming back from a trip. However, I got lost from that plotline; so, I have decided to try something else, something that might lead to future good chapters. Enjoy.

Chapter One Hundred and Twenty-Eight
Valentine's Day – Part One

Thursday, February 14, 2019 – Casey Primary Suite Bathroom
Her husband was currently on a business trip, on the most romantic day of the year; but he promised her, that they would celebrate this weekend when she came back. And that made her feel (somewhat) better. But still, it was still hard; waking up alone in bed on Valentine's Day was definitely not something that she was going to be okay with next year, and she was going to have to talk to her husband about that when he comes back tomorrow. Yes, he's coming back the day after Valentine's Day; and she was not happy about that. I mean, of course she's happy that he's coming back; but she just wishes that he was back today. She wanted to have her husband hold her in bed today, and have her man just taking it easy with her while lavishing her with kisses. Heck, she was sure that Alex and Stella felt the same way; after all, her husband was not the only one who was currently on business right now. Rather, their husbands (Jay and Kelly) were on business with him.

And just where might've that business trip have taken them? Well, it took them back home to Chicago, the Windy City; and the Blackhawks had a home game on February 13th, so they just HAD to go to it since they were in town. Didn't matter that this was her and Matt's last Valentine's Day as just husband and wife. It didn't matter that Gabby was nearing the end of her second trimester (she already told Matt that he's stuck in Hawaii during her third trimester). So, she understood the business trip. But she knew that he was done already, and that the only reason he stayed in Chicago was due to the fact that there was a Blackhawks game last night. At least, that was what she thought was happening. Rather, it wasn't the truth. The truth of the matter was that he was back in Hawaii; he was home, as was Kelly. (Stella ended up staying here with her during Matt's business trip). So, they were going to spend the day together; and that was going to be okay with her.

Well, it was the best that she could get since both of their husbands were gone; what she really wanted, was that her husband would be here with her today. And that was something that Gabby didn't know about, that her husband was actually here. All she knew, was that he asked her mom to run her a bath this morning; and that it was already ready for her when she woke up, so she definitely decided to go take said bath before it got cold (she ended up having to add a bit more hot water). But now, it was absolutely perfect; and it was really nice of her husband to have told her mom to run her a bath, a bath that she was now taking this morning. And it was perfect. But the truth was, this was not the most perfect thing that was going to happen today; as there was another surprise that her husband had for her, one that they were both going to enjoy. One that only he could do for her. Now, did you really think that Matt would stay away on Valentine's Day?

A day where he and Gabby can enjoy time together? Of course, Matt wouldn't do that, are you stupid? Rather, her mom was the one who was not here today. He asked her to go somewhere else for the entire weekend, and he ended up staying in her room last night (which was why Gabby didn't think that Matt was home right now). But now, she was going to learn that he was in fact home; and she was going to learn that by getting a nice massage, before he asked her if she was okay with him joining her in the bath this morning (he was sure that she was going to be okay). I mean, he's home and that's going to be really nice; they are going to take it easy, and they are just going to enjoy each other this Valentine's Day. Walking into the bathroom in his towel after hearing Gabby's music begin, Matt smirked due to the fact that he was ready to just join the woman he loves in the bath; and that was exactly what he's going to do right now, join her in the bath.

But first, he needed to turn off the music, which confused Gabby. "Mom, what the heck are you doing? I'm in the midst of enjoying my bath." Matt then smirked as he decided to bend down and put his hand on the side of Gabby's neck, leaving a soft kiss on it before whispering in her ear. "Did you really think that I would stay away from you on Valentine's Day?" Gabby was shocked when she heard Matt, looking up at him. "Matt?" Matt just laughed as he looked at his beautiful wife, moving to walk towards the other end of the bath. Sitting down on the side in his towel, Matt smirked as he looked at the woman he loves more than anything. Afterwards, Gabby decided to get up. At least, she was…until matt stopped her. "Hey, stay down baby. Last time I checked, I was wearing a towel." Gabby just smiled as she looked at Matt, proceeding to grab his hand. "I thought you were staying in Chicago to go to the Blackhawks game." Matt just laughed as she looked at his girl.

"Baby, it's our last Valentine's Day without kids. Do you really think that I would miss it?" Gabby smiled as she heard Matt tell her that, before stroking his hand with her thumb. Afterwards, she stared into his eyes and just waited for Matt to bend down and kiss her again, which is exactly what Matt did. Taking things nice and slow with Gabby, Matt smirked due to the fact that this was perfect. "Listen, I am going to join you in the bath; and I don't care if you already washed yourself, I am going to wash you again." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that, smiling at him as that sounded perfect. "Can you put the music back on though? That was a nice song that I was enjoying." Matt laughed when he heard Gabby ask him to put the music back on, getting up so that he could walk over to the radio. Proceeding to turn it on, Matt just smiled as he looked at Gabby in the mirror. "God, I have the most beautiful wife in the entire world." Gabby blushed, smiling.

Afterwards, Matt turned to look at her and just smirked. "God, I am so ready to just get in that bath with you and run my hands all over your body." Gabby agreed with her loving husband when he told her that, smiling as that was exactly what she wanted. "Me and the boys want you to do just that." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling as he made his way over to Gabby. Afterwards, he smirked as he went ahead and grabbed his razor. "Sorry, can I just shave quickly?" Turning her head, Gabby looked at her husband. "No way. You basically told me that you weren't going to be here today, now you are; and you are going to hold me in your arms." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife when she said that, smirking as he proceeded to make his way over to the bath; afterwards, he took off his towel so that he could join her in the bath (which was exactly what Gabby wanted him to do). Going to hang his towel up next to hers, Matt smirked at his wife.

Doing the same, Gabby shook her head as she loved the sight of her man when he's naked. Stepping into the bath shortly after, Matt smiled as he went ahead and then moved next to her; wrapping his arm around his wife, Matt smiled as he went to put his hand on her stomach. However, he didn't get a chance to do that before Gabby moved into his lap so that she would cuddle him to him; after all, she did miss being in his arms for the past few nights. But for him to be back, that was perfect. Just crawling into his lap right away, Gabby smirked as she went ahead and laid down in his arms; and that was all that Matt wanted as he put his hand on her stomach. Stroking it with his thumb, Matt smiled as he turned his head and then kissed Gabby's forehead softly. "Happy Valentine's Day baby." Gabby agreed with Matt when he wished her a Happy Valentine's Day, which was something that she was happy to hear from him in person. "I'm glad you're here by the way."

Matt agreed with Gabby as she told him that she's glad that he's here with her, which he knows that more than anything; feeling her wrap her arms around his torso, Matt smiled as he put his hand on her arm and just stroked it with his thumb. And all that made him think about, was just how happy he was to have his beautiful wife in his arms; kissing her forehead softly, Matt smirked due to the fact that he was glad that he was home with his girl. "So, how was your trip to Chicago? You see everybody at the firehouse?" Matt agreed with Gabby, proceeding to kiss her forehead softly. "And they are so happy for us. But I am not going to talk about our friends, when I am naked in the bath with my wife on Valentine's Day." Gabby agreed with Matt as she laid down on his chest and just cuddled up to him, rubbing his chest as they held each other close. Afterwards, Gabby bent down and kissed his chest softly. Running his hand down Gabby's back, Matt kissed her forehead.

"I can see that you're comfortable in my arms." Gabby laughed as she heard Matt say that she was comfortable in his arms. "Oh, I am always comfortable in your arms baby. And I promise that I will always be comfortable in your arms, which is where I want to be all day." Matt nodded as he heard Gabby tell him that she wants to be in his arms all day, running his fingers up and down her back as he kissed her forehead softly. "Baby, I love that idea. And I am so glad that this is what I am going to do today too. I want to hold the woman of my dreams close to me for the rest of my life, and you already know that." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that, smiling as she wrapped her arms around his torso and laid her head down on his muscular chest once again. At the same time, Matt wrapped his arm around Gabby's back while kissing the top of her head. "So, did you get the deal?" Matt smiled when his wife asked him whether he got the deal. "Yeah, I did."

Gabby smiled as she heard Matt tell her that, as she was glad that he at least got the deal. "I'm glad that you ended up getting the deal." Matt nodded, smiling at his beautiful wife as she told him that. Afterwards, he smirked and just kissed her forehead softly. "God, I am so glad that this is what we're doing right now; we're holding each other close, as we just relax in the bath right now." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that, smirking as she was very happy as well; after all, there's nothing like the feeling of her loving husband holding her in the bath…and that was exactly how she wanted to start her Valentine's Day. She wanted to have him hold her close, all day as they relaxed in bed; and that was exactly what they planned on doing with each other today. "All day, I want to rest in bed with you." Matt agreed with Gabby as she told him that she wants to spend all of Valentine's Day in bed with her. "Oh, I absolutely love that idea." Gabby agreed, smiling.

"So, I see that you're using some of the bath bombs that we have." Gabby laughed as she heard Matt mention that she's using some of the bath bombs that she's got as a gift. "What do you expect? That I'm not going to use a bath bomb?" Matt agreed with his wife when she said that, smiling as he turned his head and kissed her forehead once more. "It's how I knew where to find you to tell you the truth." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, still extremely happy over the fact that he's here right now. Heck, he doesn't even want to believe that he's here at the moment as it's crazy that he made his way here. But this is where she is, and that's all that matters at the end of the day. It makes her so happy that he's here with her, and she can't help but smile over the fact that she has the man she loves holding her in his arms. And she's pretty sure that Matt is well aware of that fact, especially when he's leaving a bunch of kisses on her forehead. "You like this feeling?"

Gabby smirked when Matt asked her if she's enjoying the feeling of being in his arms, which she definitely is. "Oh, I am definitely enjoying the feeling of being in your arms; and I am also enjoying the feeling of your hands on my. I have really missed you after all." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife when she said that, smiling as he knew that was the truth. And there was another truth that he knew, that he missed her as well; which was why he came home in the first place. "That was actually why I decided to come home. I missed you so much." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, having already figured that out herself. "Yeah, that makes sense." Matt smirked when she told him that, turning his head before pressing his lips to her forehead. Afterwards, he wrapped his legs around hers as he held her in his lap as a way to relax in the bath with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "So, what'd you do while I was gone?"

Gabby laughed. "Well, I am not sure if you saw some of those boxes that are now on your side of the bed." Matt laughed. "I can only assume that they are a bunch of baby clothes?" Gabby smiled when Matt asked her whether they were a bunch of baby clothes. "I mean, why wouldn't they be a bunch of baby clothes? I had a bunch of time on my hands, and I wanted to order some clothes for the boys." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she told him that, having already expected that to be something that she was going to be doing while he was on his trp. "Yeah, I had a feeling that was going to be something that you'd do. Now, just curious; did you already have breakfast?" Gabby smirked as she looked up at the man she loves more than anything in the entire world, putting her hand on his abs before kissing him softly. "No, so you have a chance to make me breakfast in bed." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby tell him that he has a chance to make her breakfast.

Matt's POV:
Walking out of the bathroom this morning shortly after finishing up in the bath with Gabby, I smirked as I walked out to see her putting some lingerie on; lingerie that she always likes to wear for me whenever we spend the day in bed together, which is exactly what we're going to do both today and tomorrow. I already promised her in the bath that I was not going to work tomorrow, as I was already on a trip and I have missed her. But now, I get to do something that she needs help with. And what might that be? Well, that would be help my girl do up the lingerie that she was putting on. Walking up behind her in my boxers, I smirked as I kept my towel in the bathroom (which meant that I had nothing to hang up). I mean, why bring it out when I can keep it in there. After which, I went ahead and walked up behind my girl; wrapping my arms around her in the process, I smirked at my beautiful wife. "Well, someone decided to wear something sexy for their husband today."

Turning around to face me, Gabby smirked as she stepped close to me and put her hands on my chest. Afterwards, she leaned up and proceeded to kiss me softly. Wrapping my arms around her, I smirked as I bent down and just kissed the woman I love more than anything in the entire world. "Why, do you like the lingerie I chose to wear for you?" I nodded, agreeing with my beautiful wife while pushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "Oh, you know that I love it." Putting my hand on the side of her face, I smiled as I bent down and kissed her softly. "But not as much as I love you." Gabby smirked, agreeing with me as I told her that I love her more than the lingerie. "Good, because I am only wearing this today, and only until I get uncomfortable. Sorry but, I am not sure I want sex until later." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "Hey, look at me baby." Gabby agreed, doing just that; at the same time, I put my hand on her neck and stared into her eyes.

"Baby, I don't need sex for you to show me that you love me; I just need to hold you in my arms." Gabby agreed with me as I told her that, smiling as she leaned up and kissed me softly. Bending down at the same time, I smiled as I took things nice and slow with the woman of my dreams; the woman I love more than anything in the entire world. And let's just say that it was perfect, and that this was exactly how I really wanted to start my Valentine's Day with her. I truly love her more than anything in the entire world, and I am very proud to call her my wife. "Listen, how about you take it easy, and just relax in bed? I'm going to go make us some breakfast." Gabby agreed with me when I told her that, smirking as that was exactly what she wanted to do right now (I think at least). "Hey, of course I can baby. I want to lay down in your arms and take it easy with you." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that, smirking as I wrapped my arms around her. "God, I missed you."

Gabby agreed with me as I told her that, smiling as she ran her hands up my back. At the same time, I proceeded to move my hand to her neck once again so that I could take things nice and slow with my gorgeous wife. "I hope you know that this is where I have always wanted to be, right baby?" Gabby agreed with me when I asked her that, smiling when I asked her that. "Of course I know that Matt, I promise that I know that." I agreed with her, smirking as I bent down and then proceeded to kiss her softly. Just taking things nice and slow with my girl, I couldn't help but be extremely happy with my wife. "Listen, you sit in bed and I'll go make breakfast." Gabby agreed with me as I said that, smiling as I let her go and then walked away. Walking out of our room, I smiled as I went to make us some breakfast this morning; breakfast that I needed.

Happy Valentine's Day

God, I love my husband. I know, that's something that I say all the time; but this is the truth of the matter when it comes down to it. Let me give you a few details behind why I am specifically saying that. Well, only after I say Happy Valentine's Day to all of my dear readers. Now, onto what's happening. Here's what happened. As you know, today is Valentine's Day; but just yesterday, my husband was in Chicago on Business…and I was under the impression that he wasn't going to be here. (He's a huge Blackhawks fan and they have a game soon). Since he was in town, he told me that he and his best friend (who also travelled to Chicago) were going to go to the game rather than come home. And let's just say that I was not happy about that. I mean, what woman doesn't want to spend Valentine's Day with her husband? Well, that was what I thought was going to happen to me. But it turned out what was never going to be the case, as it was all a ploy; and a huge lie.

I mean, not that I'm okay with him lying to me. (I'm not). But still, I'm glad that we're together again and that we're going to be spending some quality time together; after all, this is quite a special Valentine's Day for the both of us. More specifically, today is the last Valentine's Day that we get to spend together as just husband and wife. The next Valentine's Day that we're going to be spending together is as parents. We're going to have the twins next Valentine's Day, so we're not going to be able to get the quality alone time that we enjoy ever again. However, I am not complaining about that fact as I am so glad that we're having the twins. And I am definitely not complaining over the fact that I now have my husband home with my. I love him more than anything, and I am so glad that we're together; so much so, that I have this feeling that I'm going to want to be all over him today. To say that my husband will be getting lucky today, well I think that's going to be true.

Now listen, I am not sure when my husband is going to be back with breakfast; but I have a feeling that it's going to be soon, so I am going to let you guys go and wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day. I hope that you guys just have a nice day filled with love with your partner, and your children if you choose to spend it with them as well. Until next time dear readers.

It didn't take him long to make breakfast. Make a breakfast that he knew Gabby was going to enjoy, not that she wasn't going to enjoy anything that he made her for breakfast; after all, she loves basically anything and everything that he makes for her. Okay, maybe not everything; but it's pretty close. He'd say that she likes at least 95% of the food that he makes quite easily for her, and that's something that he's happy about; as it means that he's feeding his beautiful wife properly. He's not going to lie though, there were some times that he didn't do that good of a job when it came to cooking; but today, he thinks that he did a good job. But he was not the one who was going to make that judgment. Rather, his wife was going to be the ultimate judge as to whether her husband made a good breakfast for her. And that was what exactly what she was in the midst of doing, she was doing the taste test of her morning breakfast; meanwhile, Matt was waiting with bated breath for some feedback as to what she thinks of the breakfast that he made for her. God, he's hoping that it's good.

Taking a few bites of it, Gabby decided to play with her husband (as she knew that he was waiting for her husband). "I don't know, I might have to take another bite before I tell you whether it's good." Going to grab another bite, Gabby went to take another bite, which just deflated Matt. I mean, how long does it take for someone to tell her husband as to whether the breakfast was good? Just looking at Matt, Gabby smiled at her man. "Baby, of course I like the breakfast that you made for me." Matt smiled when he heard Gabby say that, putting his hand on her leg before leaning over her and kissing her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Matt just smirked at her. "So, did you already eat breakfast?" Matt smiled at Gabby when she asked him whether he already had breakfast. "Yes, I already had breakfast. I wanted to eat while I was down there since I was hungry, much hungrier than I expected. So, I had an egg sandwich, but you needed more." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that she needed to eat more than him, as she's pregnant after all, with twins.

"You and our boys need to eat much more than I do." Gabby laughed as she heard Matt mention their boys, as she knew just how glad he was that they were having sons. Yes, Matt would've been fine with having daughters; but she also knew that he's wanted a son for a longest time, which was exactly what they were having in May. "So, I heard from a birdie that you set a date with your OB to go into the delivery room?" Gabby took a breath when she heard Matt mention the fact that she set a date with her OB to give birth, as that was not something that she told her husband herself; rather, somebody else told him. "Uhm, just who might have told you that?" Matt sighed as he decided to get up, and walked around the bed so that he could get in on his side of the bed; the bed where he and Gabby are going to be staying today, as they just rest and enjoy some romantic time together today and tomorrow. "Uhm, who told you?" Climbing into bed, Matt smiled at Gabby.

"You put it in our shared calendar." Gabby then realized that. "Oh, right; I remember that now." Matt agreed with Gabby as he laid down in bed, tugging the covers up on top of himself. Just laying there, Matt looked up at his wife while smiling at her as he was quite happy right now. He was happy to be alone with the woman he loves on Valentine's Day, which was exactly what should happen; Matt should've always been here with her, but she's not going to be mad due to the fact that he was actually here at the moment. "You're thinking about something." Gabby took a breath when she heard Matt tell her that, well aware of the fact that he can read her better than anybody. "I was just thinking about how I was worried you wouldn't be here, and how disappointed I was." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that. "That's not something that I didn't know baby. I heard it in your voice whenever we spoke, I heard it the first day that I left." Gabby agreed with Matt.

"And that was when I decided that we weren't going to be staying away past Valentine's Day, and that I was going to be here with my wife; I was going to be spending the day in bed with the woman I love, maybe even taking off whatever lingerie she's wearing?" Gabby laughed when Matt asked her that. "I am wearing pink maternity lingerie, that hugs my body in all the right places. And we'll see if you get sex. I think I might want to try and have sex later, but it all depends on something that we can't control; and that would be how tired I am later." Matt agreed with Gabby, smiling at the woman he loves as she reminded him about the fact that it (them making love later) depends on how tired she is. And if she's really tired, then she's more likely than not interested in having sex with him. "I have to say this, I liked being in the bath with you this morning." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that he liked being in the bath with her, which she was well aware. "I did too, and I really liked how you washed me." Matt smiled when Gabby said that, agreeing with him. At the same time, Gabby ate some more of her breakfast this morning. "Baby, I hope you know that I don't expect sex with you today."

Gabby just looked at Matt when he said that, smiling at him. "Gabby, I know that you're tired; and I know that you need to rest still, because I was on the call with your doctor a couple days ago." Gabby agreed with Matt when he reminded her that he was on the call with her doctor a few days ago, which was another one of the reasons why he decided to come home; after things that he's heard from Gabby, he just had a feeling that he should be here with her. "Why didn't you tell me that you were always tired? And that you were thinking about what effect staying in bed all the time had on the twins? And then, you asked the doctor whether stayed in bed would be good or bad? Those questions all came out of the blue, and it's got me worried babe. I want you to talk to me. What's going on Gabby?" Gabby took a breath when Matt asked her what's going on. "That's exactly what I'm worried about." Matt agreed with Gabby as she told her that it's what's on her mind now.

"You know that you can always talk to me about these things babe, as I'm here to make sure that you feel good; and I don't want you to have to feel like you need to hide these types of things from me. You can always talk to me, and you can tell me what's going on so that we can figure things out together." Gabby agreed with her loving husband when he told her that, just smiling as she watched him slip up in bed so that he could kiss her. And let's just say that it was exactly what she wanted, and it even led her to putting her hand on his face. "The doctor said that it's fine, as long as you move every once and a while; and I know that's what you want to do today, as it's what I want to do. I just feel exhausted, as I haven't slept the best for the past few days." Gabby was confused when she heard Matt tell her that he hasn't slept that well for a few days. "Why's that baby?" Matt took a breath. "I was away from you and the kids." Gabby agreed with her husband.

"Was it because you couldn't get your goodnight kiss?" Matt smirked as he heard Gabby say that, before leaning in and kissing his beautiful wife softly. Just taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world, Matt smirked as he grabbed her hand. "Listen, you need to eat; and then, we can cuddle up to each other as we relax in bed. I want to hold my beautiful wife and my sons in my arms while we relax today, and I give her a bunch of kisses." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, smirking as she absolutely loved the idea of all of them cuddling up to each other in bed; after all, that was exactly what she wanted to do with the man she loves more than anything in the entire world today, she wants to hold him in her arms and just cuddle up to her dreamy husband.
