Once the weekday had rolled around, Carrie had woken up from her bed to get Rebecca out from underneath. Then, she got her backpack to open it to place Rebecca inside. Today she has to go to school. Right now, school hasn't even started yet. Without any thought to herself, she slowly opened the door, gently. She looked across the hallway of the house as she landed eyes on the door to her mother's bedroom. It was still closed. This meant that her mother could still be asleep, Carrie sighed.
"Well here goes nothing.",she said to herself
She quietly tiptoed out of her room and into the hallway. Then, she looked to see that the door was still very much closed. That gave her the chance to head to the staircase to walk downstairs. She made it downstairs. Carrie took one look upstairs…still nothing in sight. She looked back directly towards the door and carefully opened it before stepping outside and closing the door behind her.
