Chapter One Hundred and Thirty-Two
Valentine's Day – Part Five: Pre-Vow Renewal, Part One

To say that Stella and Alex weren't too amused with their husbands' boss was an understatement. Why in the world did he think that he could just hijack their Valentine's Day, and bring them here? Here, to show off one of his new homes. One of the new homes that he recently purchased for his wife, with some of the money that he inherited. I mean, it was a gorgeous home; but they were just so confused right now as to why they were told to come here, today of all days. I mean, they are supposed to be getting romantic with their husbands today; not spending the day at their (future) place of work. They just have yet to tell their husbands that, because they seem really happy for their friends. But this was done, they needed answers; and if Stella wasn't going to do anything about it, then Alex was. Pushing the stop button on the elevator, Alex decided to say what she and Stella were thinking out loud. She needed to get some answers from her husbands.

"Okay, listen. I get that you need to work sometimes. And I have tried to not question this, because I know you were excited; and I know that you guys wanted to show off the new digs. But you know what, this is my first Valentine's Day married to you Jay. I'm sorry but, who are you…and what have you done with my husband? Last time I checked, I was wearing lingerie for you; and I was hoping to get laid, and pregnant with our first kid today…" Alex then turned to look at Stella. "No offence of course Stella, I am so sorry that I needed to say that." Stella agreed with Alex, understanding. "No, it's fine. Anyways, I was ready to try again too; so yes, me and Alex both need answers as to why we're here." Jay took a breath when he heard the both of them say that. "I know, and you both deserve it." Stella agreed with the corporate executive. "Damn straight we do, especially when Gabby is supposed to be resting; and she's supposed to come here to be with us?"

Kelly took a breath as he turned to look at Stella, knowing that he's going to be in a lot of trouble. "Listen, let's just take you to the floor; and then we can explain. Please, just let us explain by taking you up there." Stella looked at her husband, confused. "Jay, push the damn stop button and keep us going please; I don't want to get in trouble with my wife." Jay agreed with Kelly when he said that, proceeding to push the button. At the same time, Kelly turned to look kat Alex; the woman whom he grew up with. "Alex, trust me when I say this; but we need to be here for this, because this is something that Matt needs us for." Alex just groaned. "Seriously? He needs here to show off the building? Why in the world…" That's when the elevator reached the right floor, and the doors opened; which prompted Stella to interrupt Alex. "Holy wedding." Alex then turned to look onto the floor, leading her husband out into the space that they just got onto today.

Just walking out and looking around, Alex and Stella were both confused, which prompted them both to look at their husbands. "Wait, a second." Alex then looked at Jay. "Did you rent this space so that we could…" Jay then put his hands up. "Oh hell no, I already got chewed up by your father while I was in Chicago." Jay then turned to look at Kelly. "Because someone couldn't ignore his request to finally take him up on his meal, after his father died. Oh, I got chewed up for getting married in Vegas; without him being present, so don't you dare think that this is me. Alex, if you want a vow renewal…then you're going to have to initiate that, because you're telling your dad." Alex thought about it and agreed with her husband. "Okay." Stella then looked at Kelly. "And you, did ask Matt to do this for us?" Kelly shook his head when Stella said that. "Oh, hell no, this is no for us either. Rather, it's for a couple who deserve it before they have their twins." Stella then smiled.

"Wait a second, this is…" Kelly smiled. "This is Matt and Gabby's new penthouse, the penthouse that's on top of our new corporate headquarters. We are going to start working here next week, and there's a floor for ELLA Apparel. However, that's not what's happening today. Today, Matt and Gabby are renewing their vows; which is why I couldn't tell you anything about why we were going here today. Yes, these are our offices; but this is what for Matt and Gabby, and I have strict instructions to take Stella somewhere so that I can show you something." Stella was confused when her husband told her that. "And what would that be?" Kelly then extended his hand, smiling at his wife. "Something that Gabby will need your help with." Stella looked at Kelly when he said that, well aware of just what he was talking about. "He got her a dress?" Kelly laughed when Stella said that. "Oh, by the way…I need to take your phone away from you until they are here."

Stella looked at her husband when he said that, confused. "Gabby doesn't know, and Matt doesn't want you texting dresses to her; he has a couple dresses and he wants you to narrow them down, he bought them in New York City at Kleinfeld while we were there." Stella just looked at him. "Oh, you're telling him that I am taking one of these dresses for our vow renewal." Kelly laughed. "Babe, these are way too plain for you. They are just plain white dresses, that are comfortable." Stella looked at her husband. "I don't care, I'm wearing one of them as her maid of honor dress." Stella then thought about something. "Oh god, did he…" Kelly nodded. "Hey, Alex!" Alex then turned to look at Stella. "Yeah Stella?" Stella smirked. "Come with me, we're going to go pick Gabby a dress; and we're going to pick out bridesmaids dresses." Alex smirked when Stella said that. "Where are the dresses from?" Stella smirked. "Kleinfeld." Alex just stared in awe, before looking at Jay.

Stepping close to him, she grabbed his jacket and smirked while leaning in to kiss him softly. "You and Kelly help the other staff here, I'm going to go pick out my bridesmaid's dress." Jay then looked at Alex. "Who knows if we're even going to be in the wedding party." That's when Antonio made his way over to the two other gentlemen. "It's going to be me, Kelly, Ben, Griffin and Diego." Kelly then turned his head and looked at Antonio. "Sorry, did you just say Ben and Griffin?" Antonio nodded. "Yeah, why?" Kelly laughed. "Well, I only got to see them for a bit in Chicago; I had no idea they came here." That's when Heather walked over to Kelly. "Yeah, that's because I just took a job here; I'm the new Head of Public Relations for the company." Kelly smiled when he heard Heather say that, before going to hug her. "Congratulations Heather, it'll be nice to be here with you some more." Heather agreed with Kelly when he told her that. "Now, where's your wife?"

Kelly laughed. "She's going to pick out Gabby's wedding dress." Heather smiled as she looked at Kelly, before looking at her sons. "Ben, Griffin…stay with Kelly. I'm going to help do that." Ben agreed with his mom when she told him that, smiling. That's when Kelly saw Boden there. "Boden? Herrmann?" Kelly then looked down at Ben and Griffin. "Follow me, we're going to go see some people who are going to want to see you." Ben and Griffin both agreed with their uncle Kelly when he said that, follow them towards some other people so that they can talk to them. That's when the boys recognized the two men. "Chief? Herrmann?" Turning to look at Kelly, Boden smiled. "Well, if it isn't my former Squad Lieutenant." Kelly agreed with Boden when he said that, smiling as he went to shake his hand. Boden then smiled as he looked at Ben and Griffin. "Well, if it isn't the only other children of Firehouse 51." Ben smiled when he saw Chief Boden. "How are you Chief Boden?"

Boden smiled as he went to hug Ben and Griffin. "Good, god have you grown." Griffin just laughed. "I heard that you finally became a dad." Boden agreed with him, smiling. "Yeah, me and my wife have a son named Terrence." Kelly then thought about them. "Speaking of which, where is Donna if you're here?" Herrmann then spoke up. "Just like Cindy, they stayed behind; but we're going to video call with them during the ceremony." Kelly agreed with Herrmann when he said that, smiling. "By the way, did they sell their place?" Kelly shook his head. "No, this is the other home they have; the home that they have on top of our headquarters." Herrmann agreed with Kelly. "Wait, this is your office building?" Kelly smiled. "We're starting a company remember? It's why we were in Chicago." Herrmann nodded. "But we were only there for a week, we told our wives we were gone two weeks; we spent the past week getting all of this ready for Matt and Gabby."

That's when Kelly heard his best friend's mother-in-law walk over to him. "Are Matt and Gabby not here yet?" Turning to look at her, Kelly smiled. "No, not yet." Antonio then added on, having just got a text from Matt. "They're on their way though." Camila agreed with her son when he said that, smiling as she walked over to him; wrapping her arm around her son, Camila smiled as she kissed his cheek. "Como estas Toni?" Antonio then kissed his mom's cheek too. "Soy bueno mama." Camila agreed with her son, smiling as he told her that; before seeing that there was alcohol at the event. "Listen Antonio, I'm going to be drinking today…." Camila then went to grab her car keys out of her purse. "Here's my car keys, you're going to drive me home later." Seeing the alcohol, Antonio agreed. "Let me guess, you saw the alcohol?" Camila agreed. "Oh, yes I did. And if I see you drinking, then you are going to be in trouble with me Antonio."

Camila then slapped her son's cheek; after which, she walked away so that she could go get some alcohol. At the same time, Boden looked at the (former) detective. "So, how are Matt and Gabby doing here in Honolulu since we were here over Christmas?" Antonio smiled when Boden asked him that. "They're really good actually, they've got stuff set up; and they've got a bunch of stuff for the twins. They're extremely happy with each other, and they're just ready to be a family; and that's why Matt's doing this so early in the day. We're doing the vow renewal at 11, a quick lunch; and then they're going to be staying here for the first time. Matt says he wants to stay here more, now that we have the office building; then, he can go downstairs and go work there rather than do it at home." Boden agreed with Antonio when he said that, completely understanding why that would be the case. That's when Herrmann spoke up to Kelly. "So, where's Molly's Honolulu?"

Kelly smiled as he turned to look at Herrmann, well aware that he wanted to see it. "Matt has yet to open it, but it's going to be in the cafeteria downstairs. We're going to be building our company, while we also build this office building out. Matt has a huge surprise for Gabby, one that Stella doesn't even know about. He already dedicated an entire floor of the building to Gabby's new clothing line, ELLA Apparel. They can design in there, and they have a manufacturing facility here." Herrmann smiled when he heard Kelly say that. "Wow, so how long has he been working on this?" Kelly laughed. "He's been working on it for a couple months, since Christmas. Well, they need to work on the offices still; but they have another home here. I think they're going to start staying here now that the office is ready to go. Well, the floors we need. They're going to keep working on the other floors now." Herrmann agreed with Kelly when she said that, glad that was going to be the case.

"So, where is Molly's going to be? You didn't answer that question yet." Kelly laughed. "It's on the main floor and second floor, two floor restaurant. The bar is on the second floor, family restaurant is on the first floor." Herrmann agreed with Kelly when he said that, smiling at him. "Well, I'm glad that you guys finally have this space. I know that it's going to come in handy." Kelly agreed with Herrmann when he said that, smiling.

While Herrmann and Severide were speaking upstairs, Matt and Gabby were currently arriving at the office downstairs. Pulling into the building's parking garage this morning, Matt Casey smirked as he went ahead and put his parking pass in front of the reader. However, that confused Gabby; why would Matt have a parking pass, when they haven't even checked into the hotel yet? "Baby, how do you already have a parking pass when we haven't checked into the hotel yet?" Matt smirked when he heard Gabby ask him that question. "That's because this isn't a hotel. Rather, this is something that I have been working on for a while; and it's actually where we're going to be living during the week from now on." Gabby was confused as she watched Matt drive into the parking garage. "What do you mean baby?" Matt smirked as he turned to look at Gabby while driving into the garage. "This is a new office building that we recently purchased for the company."

Gabby was shocked. "What?" Matt nodded. "A company just folded, and they were selling this building for like nothing; and the place was gorgeous, so we decided to buy it." Gabby agreed with her husband when he said that. "And we've spent the past month and a half fixing it up for us." Gabby smiled when she heard Matt say that. "Well, I'm glad; it means that you can have a new, permanent place to work." Matt smirked when he heard Gabby say that, before moving to drive towards his parking spot. "Well, there's also something that will keep you here. There's something for ELLA Apparel here too, that will be good for when we hire people." Gabby was confused when she said that, before smiling at him. "Well, I can't wait to see what that is." Matt then proceeded to make his way over to the parking spot that was reserved for him. He then looked at the plates, smiling at Gabby as he backed into the spot that was reserved for his car; the one next to it being for Gabby.

Shutting off the car, Matt smirked as he went ahead to look at Gabby; who was also looking at him. "So, we have a new place here?" Matt smirked, agreeing with his beautiful wife as he grabbed her hand. He then intertwined their fingers, smiling as he leaned in and kissed her softly; taking things nice and slow with Gabby, Matt smirked as he was very happy. "Listen, let's go see the place; which is where we're staying tonight…because I made sure that the penthouse is ready for us." Gabby smiled as she looked at Matt. "Penthouse?" Matt nodded. "It means that we can live here, and I can go to work while you take it easy upstairs." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, smirking as she was really happy. "Listen, how about we get out of here; I want to go see our new home." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife. "How about we go see our offices first?" Gabby smiled, agreeing with Matt as he asked her if they can go see their offices first.

"I want a kiss from my husband first actually." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, smirking as she went ahead and then proceeded to get out; walking around his car at the same time, Matt smirked as he got ready to share a nice kiss with the woman he loves. Getting out too, Gabby smirked as she got up and then leaned against the car; which was going to make sure that Matt walked up to her. Smiling at his beautiful wife as he walked up to her, Matt put his hand on her side and then brought Gabby close to him. Putting his hand on her side, Matt smirked as he proceeded to lean in and kissed her softly. Just taking things nice and slow with his wife, Matt smirked due to the fact that this is everything that they both want right now. "God, I love you so much." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, smiling at her. "I love you too." Matt smirked as he leaned in and kissed her once again. "Want to go see what it's like upstairs?" Gabby agreed with Matt.

Grabbing his beautiful wife's hand, Matt smirked as he proceeded to leave his beautiful wife up to the offices, where they plan on renewing their vows.
