I hope you continue to read this story and enjoy it. Now, if you have ideas; please send them to me via the comments or through a message. Now, let's keep going and I hope you enjoy today's chapters. Here's chapter One Hundred and Thirty-Three.
Chapter One Hundred and Thirty-Three
Valentine's Day – Part Six
Casey Headquarters – Molly's Honolulu
They were currently in the restaurant of their new office building. More specifically, the main lobby that also included something that he knew that Gabby was going to enjoy; something that has yet to be completed but will definitely be completed by the time Gabby starts working here full-time (after the twins are born). And you, the readers, are well aware of just what that is. It's the new project that Matt made sure was incorporated into the new headquarters where the company was going to be working. And just what might that be? Well, it was his and Gabby's new favorite restaurant; Molly's Honolulu, a three-floor restaurant in the office building with some space that they can use. Space that Gabby can use for future fashion shows for ELLA Apparel. But it is also connected to some other things. It's connected to the second-floor staff cafeteria, and the third floor entrance and exit to Gabby's ELLA Apparel boutique (check out area).
And she's sure that Gabby will like that, as it'll allow her to visit Molly's much easier (not that she won't be able to order into her office). Turning around to look at her husband (as he continued to hold their bags), Gabby smiled at him. "You made this for me?" Matt smirked. "Yeah, it's not done yet but…" Gabby just laughed. "Baby, I love it. Don't even worry about it. I know that this is a work in progress." Matt smiled when he heard Gabby tell him that. "Yeah, I know. But I just…I wanted to do this for you." Gabby was confused. "What do you mean specifically for me baby?" Matt took a breath. "I know that, as much as you love living here in Honolulu…I had a feeling that you were going to miss Chicago eventually." Matt then proceeded to make his way over to one of the booths, setting down their bags. "So, I decided to bring this here." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that. "Baby, this is incredible." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife, smiling at his girl.
Afterwards, he proceeded to make his way over to her and wrapped his arms around her; holding her close to his chest at the same time, Matt smirked as he leaned in and proceeded to kiss her softly. "There's a bunch of things that you are really going to enjoy. Now, I can say this. While the office building is still a work in progress, we have at least 4 floors here that are already ready to go. One floor for our executive offices, one floor for Casey Fire Offices, one floor for Casey Police Offices, and then one floor that you might also be in a lot." Gabby was confused when she heard Matt tell her that. "And what might that be?" Matt smirked. "Floors six through nine are going to be places where ELLA can make their clothes." Gabby was shocked. "You're giving me four floors of your rental space?" Matt smirked when he heard Gabby say that. "Baby, we already own the building after getting it for cheap." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, smirking at him.
"And this building has twenty-nine floors, with three floors of parking under the building. ELLA Apparel will have seven floors, and you will have access to fourteen of all of the floors in this building." Gabby was shocked when she heard Matt say that. "What?" Matt smiled at his beautiful wife. "We have 5 floors for our penthouse, and ELLA Apparel has seven floors, with two more for Molly's." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt tell her that because she really loves that idea. "Baby, you are incredible; and I hope you really know that." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife, smirking. "Actually, I just realized that you'll have access to 15 of the floors, because your mom and Antonio have a home on the twenty-first floor." Gabby laughed. "Antonio and my mom are going to live together?" Matt agreed with Gabby when she asked him that, smiling. "And don't worry, the bar will be on the third floor; and Antonio will not be allowed into that floor without a handler."
Gabby smiled as she heard Matt tell her that. "Want to keep going up? We can go check out where your boutique is going to be." Gabby agreed with Matt when he asked her whether she wants to go see where her boutique is going to be, which she definitely does. Walking over to Matt, Gabby smiled as she grabbed his hand and intertwined their fingers. "I hope you know that just because you have some floors to use, doesn't mean that you aren't going to be on my floor while you're still pregnant." Gabby laughed when she heard Matt say that, agreeing with Matt when he told her that due to the fact that she expected that to be the case. I mean, of course he's going to want to have her on his floor while she's pregnant. "I may continue to work in bed if that's okay." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling they walked through Molly's together; more specifically, they made their way to the stairs that were going to connect it to the office cafeteria.
Looking at Gabby, Matt made sure that she went ahead of him. "If you think that I'm going to be ahead of you, then you're crazy. You're pregnant, and I am going behind you." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that she was going up the stairs first. "By the way, how many employees do we already have?" Matt laughed. "With us, and our family; we have 16 employees. However, I am going to start hiring more. Right now though, we are making some more money; as I am going to be renting out four floors, some that will be Casey Fire and Casey Police floors in the future. But for now, they are going to be rental space." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that, liking that idea as she made her way up the stairs so that she can see the second floor of her boutique. Seeing that it was blue, Gabby smiled. "Well, I can see what floor this can be." Matt smiled. "This can be men and children. There's another floor you can use for women and babies." Gabby agreed.
"Now, are these floors going to be open to the public?" Matt agreed. "Yes, up until the fourth floor. Floors five through seven are yours for manufacturing and designing, and then floor eight is the cafeteria for the employees. Floors nine through twelve is temporary rental space, and then floors thirteen through seventeen are office space." Gabby agreed with Matt as they made their way up to another one of the floors. "These are great baby, and I am so proud of you." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife when she said that, smiling. "Now, just curious; where am I going to do the Ambulance Re-Design?" Matt smiled. "You can either do it in ELLA Apparel, or in the fire offices." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling as they made their way into the next floor. "I swear, you did a great job baby. This is perfect, and I am really happy that you did this." Matt smiled, agreeing with the woman he loves more than anything. "Want to keep making our way up?"
Gabby agreed with Matt when he asked her that, smirking as she was ready to keep going up in the office building.
At the same time, on the eleventh floor (Casey Fire):
Walking around, Stella smiled as she finished up the last parts of setting up the vow renewal space; after all, she wants this to be perfect for her best friend. She wants to make sure that Gabby has it all. That's when Kelly looked at his wife. "Babe, you need to relax and just take it easy. You're overdoing it." Stella turned her head, sighing as she looked at her husband. "I know, and I need to relax." Kelly nodded, smiling as he walked up to his wife; afterwards, Kelly put his hands on her hips and then leaned in to kiss her softly. Taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, Kelly smirked due to the fact that he's glad that they're here together. "I think that Gabby is really going to enjoy this." Turning to look at her husband, Stella smiled. "Oh definitely, she's going to be so happy over the fact that Matt decided to do this." Kelly smirked. "Just don't expect that I plan on doing this anytime soon." Stella laughed, agreeing with Kelly when he told her that.
"Oh, I am well aware of the fact that you aren't going to be doing this for me for a while." Kelly laughed. "More like ever. I am not sure if…" Stella shook her head. "Oh, you are going to be doing this for me sometime. I want to have a nice, real wedding with you." Kelly agreed with Stella when she said that, before smiling as they both heard Chief Boden make his way over to him. "And I hope that we get an invitation to said vow renewal." Turning around, Stella agreed with Boden when he told her that. "Oh trust me, we will make sure that you guys are there. By the way, I am so sorry that we left you out to dry." Boden just looked at the both of them. "I spoke to Matt about why you guys left, and I completely understood." Boden then turned his head to specifically look at Kelly. "Severide, I am so sorry that you didn't feel like you could talk to me." Kelly took a breath, agreeing with his Chief when he said that. "Sorry that I didn't do that." Boden agreed with him.
"Severide, you can always come to me; and I hope that you know that." Severide agreed with Boden when he told him that, smiling at him as he said that. "I know that, and I am so glad that's the case." Boden smiled as he looked at him. Afterwards, he turned to look at Stella. "And the same goes for you. I hope you know that I am also very sorry about what happened." Stella agreed with Boden when he told her that, smiling as he grabbed her hand and then stroked it; after which, she walked up to him and then proceeded to hug him. "How are you doing Stella?" Stella smiled. "Much better. Me and Gabby did a bunch while the boys were in Chicago." Boden agreed. "I'm glad that they went for a bit, as it was nice to see them around the house." Kelly agreed with Boden when he said that, taking a breath. "I needed to deal with my father's will and stuff while I was there too." Boden agreed with Kelly when he said that, well aware that would've been the case.
Stella then looked at her husband. "I thought that Matt offered to take care of that for you? With his lawyers?"
Kelly's POV:
When Stella mentioned that Matt offered to take care of it with his lawyers, I nodded in agreement as that was the case. "I decided to take care of it myself, as I had to deal with my sister Katie." Stella agreed with me as I told her that, well aware that I also had a sister; I mean, there is no way that she didn't already meet my mother and sister. In fact, I made sure that they were at our wedding. That was when I heard Jay and Alex walk over to me, smiling. "Yeah, and I saw my brother there too. He was not the happiest that he wasn't at my wedding." I laughed when I heard Jay say that. "Yeah, that makes sense." Jay agreed with me, before wrapping his arm around Alex. At the same time, I turned to look at her and smiled. "Well, you look good today Alex." Alex smiled as she heard me tell her that, blushing. "Thank you, I just wish this wasn't today." I laughed. "You and me both, but we need to be here for Matt. We both know that he worked hard to get this ready."
That's when I heard Herrmann walk over to me. "Yeah, I bet he did. I also saw that he worked pretty hard on Molly's downstairs. It's really nice." Turning to look at Stella, he smiled at him. "Are you going to work there?" Stella shook her head when Herrmann asked her whether she was going to be working at Molly's. "Nope, because I already have a job. I am going to be working with Gabby at our company. ELLA Apparel." Herrmann agreed with Stella when she said that, smiling. "I have to say, I have really missed you behind the bar; you were really good." Stella agreed with Herrmann when he told her that, smiling at him. "I know you have, because I have heard that all the time from the girls I still speak to from the firehouse." Herrmann agreed with Stella when she said that, smiling at her. "So, where's Cindy?" Herrmann laughed as he looked at me. "She's still in Chicago with the kids, and I am going to have to make it up to her." I agreed with Herrmann.
That's when I heard a voice that I didn't expect to hear, which prompted me to turn my head. "I would've brought her along to tell you the truth." Just looking at the woman who spoke up, I was not that happy; especially after what she did to Gabby. Stella then turned to look at Sylvie, the Sylvie who hurt our best friend. "What the fuck are you doing here?" Sylvie smiled. "Matt invited the entire firehouse." That's when we heard Antonio walk over to us, having obviously heard Sylvie. "No, we invited the entire firehouse; with the exception of you. You should not be here." Turning to look at Antonio, Sylvie smirked. "Hey Antonio, how are you.." She said, trying to flirt with him. "Oh, hell no, I am not even doing that when I know what you did to my sister." Sylvie looked at Antonio when he said that, confused. "What are you talking about?" But I was not having that, she was not going to play innocent over this. "Oh, hell no, you are not playing that card bitch!"
Sylvie turned to look at me when I said that. "I know the real story, and I am not letting you play that card with Antonio; especially not when you shouldn't even be here in the first place, not when you hurt Gabby like that. Oh, and then you flirted with her husband last summer." Antonio just looked at Sylvie when I said that, shocked. "You flirted with my brother-in-law, while he was still married!" Sylvie laughed. "I've always had a thing for him, Gabby was just in my way." Antonio just looked at Sylvie when she said that, starting to fume. "Excuse me?" That's when the entire ground heard another voice that was going to put Sylvie in her place. "No, excuse me!" Turning to look at Gabby, we were all shocked that she came here.
Gabby's POV:
I knew why I was here, I knew that I was here for my vow renewal the moment that I walked in; I didn't even need to hear Matt tell me that, which he was doing when we walked in. However, I was soon distracted. Distracted by the sight of another woman here, someone I do not want anywhere near my family. Nor do I want her on my property. That's when I heard Sylvie say something that really made me mad. "I've always had a thing for him, Gabby was just in my way." Antonio was mad when he heard Sylvie say that and went to speak up. "Excuse me?" But he was not going to be the one to confront her when she said that; that was going to be ME! Turning to look at me, Sylvie was shocked. "Oh, he…" I just stopped her. "Oh, don't even go there Sylvie. I heard what you said. You just said that you've always had a thing for MY husband!" Sylvie agreed with me when I said that. "And then, you said that I was just in your way." Sylvie nodded. "Yeah, you we…"
I then went to interrupt her, not wanting to hear it. "DON'T SPEAK!" Sylvie then shut up, while everybody else turned to look at me; them obviously having heard me yell. "Last time I checked, this is my property…" Sylvie then interrupted me. "Actually, it's Matt as he…" I just went to stop her. "I SAID SHUT UP!" Antonio then got close to me, putting his hand on my back. "Hey, take a breath and relax. Take a breath sis, remember the babies." I agreed with Antonio when he said that. "Of course." I then looked at Sylvie. "Now, onto the thing where you said that 'I was just in your way'." Sylvie gulped when I said that. "First of all, there was no 'way'. Last time I checked, being MARRIED to the man isn't being IN THE WAY of you being with the man. It's called MARRIAGE! And that makes you the hoe who wants to sleep with a married man."
Sylvie gulped when I said that. "And, you also wanted to sleep with YOUR BOSS' husband! Did I have to remind you of that? I was your PIC! Matt is my husband! You wanted to sleep with MY HUSBAND! That's not right, nor would Matt ever want to sleep with you now that he knows…" Matt then came to join me, putting his hand on my back. "Hey, take a breath baby. Remember for the kids." Matt then turned to look at Antonio. "Antonio, grab the guests and take them up to the rooftop patio for a while okay?" Antonio agreed with Matt when he said that, going to do that for us. "Stella, Kelly; stay here to help us." They both agreed with Matt when he said that, looking at us as I went to speak to Sylvie. "What the heck are you even thinking? I was in your way? That's disgusting; especially because of what you did to me." I then got close to her.
And why did I do that? Well, I wanted to smack some sense into this idiot that I used to call my paramedic partner. "What the?" I then looked at her. "Oh, that's the least that you deserve after what you did to me 9 months ago." I then decided to take a minute. "Antonio, wait a minute before you take everybody away." I then went to walk into the middle, watching as everybody turned to look at me. "Before you go, I need to clear the record. For the past couple months, I have no doubt in my mind that little miss Sylvie here has been playing all innocent; and telling you that I left her, and that I was the one that decided to leave, and that I was the one that was on her." Everybody turned to look at me. "But that was the truth. In fact, I have been hiding the truth because I'm a nice woman and don't want to ruin her reputation. But enough is enough, because had you known the real truth; that bitch here would not be here at MY VOW RENEWAL!" Everybody just listened to me.
"That woman there is no victim! She was the abuser, I am the victim. My last shift at 51. We were on a call, and she disobeyed MY ORDER. And after I called her out on it, SHE threw the ambo bag at me; and she abandoned her patient! I had to finish the call on MY OWN! And that's the truth; I have proof, and I have made the statements under oath that it's the truth. Boden knows it's the truth, and so does the paramedic field chief. So, for her to say that she's the victim; and for her to have come here, she is wrong. I am shocked that she even DARED to come here and be at my vow renewal! She has no right to be in my building, Nor does she have the right to be here…" That's when I thought of something. "But you know what, she's going to stay." Matt then looked at me. "Baby, what? No, she should…" I then continued, interrupting Matt. "She's going to stay so that she can watch how happy I am with Matt, and she's going to learn to never do what she did again."
I just stared at her. "You're going to watch me be happy with me husband, you're going to watch me hold my husband in my arms, and you're going to watch me have fun with my husband." Matt just took a breath when I said that, putting his hand on my back; afterwards, he kissed the side of my head and just looked at me. Afterwards, he looked at Stella. "Stella, can you take Gabby to the place I told you there's a surprise for Gabby? Other than this one?" Stella agreed with Matt when he said that, walking over to me. "C'mon girl, let's go relax and get you changed for your vow renewal." I agreed with Stella, proceeding to walk away with my best friend so that I could go get ready for the vow renewal. At the same time, Matt turned to look at everybody. "Guys, I am going to talk to her alone for a moment okay?" Everybody agreed and walked away so that Matt and Sylvie could share a moment together so that they could talk together today.
Matt's POV:
As I walked up to Sylvie today, I took a breath and looked at her. "So listen, I have been meaning to do this for a while; but I am just going to do this now. First of all, I am telling you right now to stay back. I am not going to let you touch me, so stay back. I am happy married to Gabby, and we're having twins. Do you understand?" Sylvie agreed with me as I said that, taking a breath. "Now, here's the thing. You are on my turf, and you have no right to say that I can't speak to you like this. I am here to talk to you about what you did. You abused my wife, and you dare to be here? You are such a bitch, and I am shocked that you have the nerve to be here AT MY VOW RENEWAL." Sylvie gulped when I said that. "You weren't invited, and that was on purpose. I didn't want to have my wedding anniversary ruined by your presence. But my wife wants you here, and I know why; she wants to show you that I am her husband, and I am going to renew our vows today."
Sylvie agreed with me. "Still don't understand why you…" I then looked at her. "Don't even start Sylvie. I am not going to let you speak to me that way. You hurt my wife, and that is not okay with me. You are not going to get away with what you did to Gabby. You hurt both of us, because I love that woman more than anything in the entire world. Heck, I'm shocked that you even know what love is." I then took a breath. "You think that you know what love is? You have no idea what love is. In the past, Gabby thought she had an aneurysm. An aneurysm that could kill her if she got pregnant. She doesn't have one. But when we thought she did, she wanted to get pregnant with my children so that I could have a baby; and she would do that while putting her life on the line in the process. You know what, I know for a fact that you would never do that. Nobody would ever do that, because they don't love me as much as Gabby does." Sylvie gulped when I said that, looking at me.
"And if you even think you can love me the way she does, then you are wrong; as she doesn't even compare to you. She's not a bitch, and she doesn't abuse people; nor does she go after people while they are married to other people. I don't even know why you thought that you could ever be with me, especially after what you did to my wife. That's just incredible, and I am shocked that you have the audacity to think that you could ever compare to her. But now, that's done; and I never want to see you anywhere near me or my wife again." Sylvie agreed with me when I said that. I then took a breath and just looked at her, before proceeding to turn around. "I did this for my wife, because I love her; and I hope to god that you can find somebody that loves you the way I love Gabby, but that's not going to be me. You have no right to be near me." Sylvie agreed with me. "Please, just leave and go Sylvie; I don't want you anywhere near me or Gabby ever again."
Walking away from her, I proceeded to go make my way over to the room where Gabby was so that I could talk to her; after all, I need to make sure that she knows that she's gone.
