Chapter One Hundred and Forty-Six

The just finished with making the second crib this morning, shocked that they were actually able to get it done within an hour. Yes, he as that fast. But it's not that surprising, as he's put a crib or two together before. (He helped his sister put together Violet's crib, as Jim was hopeless with construction). So, he definitely does have some experience when it comes to putting cribs together for others. But that doesn't mean that he had experience putting together cribs for his own children; however, that was no longer the case. Rather, he now has experience putting two cribs together for his twin boys. And that was definitely something that Matt was happy about, especially since it meant that she could get back in bed with the woman he loves. Getting up after packing his tools, Matt turned around to face the woman he loves; before noticing that she was actually in bed, fast asleep under the covers. Just shaking his head, Matt smiled at his beautiful wife.

He then went ahead and proceeded to (quietly) put the tools away, deciding to just leave them up here; as he's sure that they're going to have to put something else together. Whether that be a rocking chair, or something else; he doesn't know yet, but that doesn't matter. If there's something that he needs to put together, then he's going to do it. Well, later. But right now, that's not what he's going to do. Rather, he's going to make his way over to bed so that he can join the woman he loves in before she wakes up. He truly loves holding her and the boys when she sleeps, as it's just the most adorable sight in the entire world. She is so damn beautiful, and Matt is so happy over the fact that they are currently expecting twin boys; boys that he can't wait to meet. God, he can't wait to be a dad; and he knows that Gabby feels the same way about being a mom. Just making his way over to Gabby's side of the bed, he decided to shut off her side table lamp.

Yes, she had her lamp on even though it's the middle of the day; as it made it easier to read the manual, and that was fine. But now that she was asleep, he didn't want it to be in her eyes. Rather, he wanted to make sure that she gets the sleep that she needs right now. Just going to turn off the lamp, Matt smiled as he then went to grab the instruction manual so that he could put it away. However, he didn't do it quietly enough; as he ended up waking Gabby up, which he didn't want. Turning her head to look around, Gabby was confused. "What?" Taking a breath, Matt put his hand on Gabby's stomach and then smiled at her. "Hey, it's okay. It's just me. I was just going to grab the book from you." Gabby then realized what he was doing, and just agreed. "Right, of course." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling at the woman he loves more than anything. He then went ahead and proceeded to put his hand on her neck this morning.

Smiling at Matt as he did that, Gabby stared into his eyes and gave him the hint that she always gives him when she wants a kiss; a hint that he recognizes better than any hint in the entire world. So, Matt leaned in and proceeded to kiss the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world softly; which was exactly what his girl wanted right now, and will always want whenever she has a chance to share a kiss with the woman she loves. "Thank you." Matt smirked as he heard Gabby thank him for giving her a sweet kiss. "Baby, I will always give you a kiss if you want one." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, just smiling as she was so happy that was the case. "Thanks." Matt nodded as he smirked, leaving a soft kiss on her forehead as they held each other close. "So, do you need anything right now? Food? I know it's getting close but…" Gabby shook her head. "I'm fine baby, I promise." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife when she said that, smiling.

He then went to grab her hand and stroked it, glad that they are currently just holding each other close right now. "Ok. But if that changes…" Gabby laughed. "Babe, I know. Just take a breath and relax okay? I know that I can always tell you that I need something, and that you'll gladly get it for me." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, as that was definitely the truth. "Oh, don't you know it." Gabby just laughed, smiling as she heard Matt tell her that; after all, he is truly the man of her dreams, and she is so happy over the fact that he's her husband. "Did I ever tell you that you're the man of my dreams?" Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling as she bent down and proceeded to kiss her softly. "I know that I'm the man of your dreams, because you're the woman of my dreams. Now, I think there's something that you want me to do; as I can already see it in your eyes." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling at her loving husband. "And what might that be?" Matt laughed when Gabby said that, because they both know what she wants right now.

"You want me to take off my shirt, and then you want me to climb into bed with you." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that she wants him to take off his shirt, and then get into bed with her, which is definitely something that she always wants. "I would've preferred it if you worked shirtless, as then I wouldn't have fallen asleep." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that. "Hey, you needed sleep; and if you needed sleep, then you need to get it. I don't know how many times I have to tell you that Gabby." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, smiling as she proceeded to grab his hand this morning. She then went to look at the time, seeing that it was noon. "Are you sure that you don't want anything to eat first baby?" Gabby shook her head when Matt asked her whether she wants him to get her some food, because she doesn't. Rather, she wants him to climb into bed with her; and then, she wants to cuddle up to her loving husband.

"I want to cuddle up to you in bed, and just take it easy right now." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling as that was definitely something that he wanted her to do right now; he wants her to rest for the sake of the twins. "At least we already have the cribs done." Gabby then looked past her husband, smiling when she saw the completed cribs; and even better, they were against the wall. However, they were against the wrong wall. "Okay, before you go ahead and climb back into bed; I'm going to need you to do something." Matt looked at his wife when she said that, as she was unsure as to what she needs him to do. "And what might that be?" Gabby smiled at Matt when he asked her that. "I need you to put one of the cribs next to you, and one next to me." Matt then looked at the places that she just said she wants the cribs, which she can't exactly have; and that's due to the fact that they are right by the stairs to the washroom. "That's not that safe."

Gabby was confused when she heard Matt say that. "And why not?" Matt sighed when Gabby asked him that. "It's right by the stairs to the washroom, so I think we should put the cribs at the end of the bed instead." Gabby thought about it and agreed with her husband when he said that; after all, his statement did make a lot of sense. "I like that idea." Matt then smiled as he went to grab her hand, just holding her close to him this morning. "So, I'm going to leave them where they are?" Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, just smiling at the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "And then, you're going to come get in bed with me as I want to cuddle up to you. I mean, I fell asleep; so that must mean that I'm tired. I swear, it's like I am starting to practice. Babies are going to be up all night, so that's what's been happening recently." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, before taking a breath; as he wished she would've told him.

"Baby, you should tell me if you wake up in the middle of the night; because I want to wake up with you, and we can spend time together. I mean, not that we don't already spend time together; but I want to spend as much time as we can together before we have the kids, especially in the middle of the night when we're going to take care of the kids." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt tell her that, as she really liked that idea. "Oh, I love that idea." Matt smirked when he heard Gabby say that, before leaning in and proceeding to kiss her softly. She then put her hand on his neck and continued to kiss each other softly, which is all she wants right now. "Listen, I want you in bed with me." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, before leaning his forehead against hers. "I want the same thing." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, just smirking as that made him very happy. "God, I love you so damn much." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife, smirking at her.

Gabby then put her hand on his face once again, really happy that they are going to just hold each other in bed; and that's definitely what they are going to do right now. "Take off that shirt for me, and then come join me in bed." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling as he got up so that he could go take off his shirt for Gabby; he then went ahead and proceeded to take off his shirt, carrying it towards his dresser so that he could set it down; after all, he can just grab it from there if he needs to go downstairs. "By the way, you are done wearing a shirt; I want to see you walk around in your boxers remember?" Turning around to look at Gabby, Matt smiled as he heard Gabby tell him that; which he feels the same way about due to the fact that it's much more comfortable. The truth is, he likes to be shirtless as he sweats a lot here in Hawaii; and he just needs to cool down at times. Setting his shirt down on his dresser, Matt smirked as he turned around.

Looking at his beautiful wife once he was shirtless, and clad in nothing but his boxers; Matt smirked due to the fact that he was truly ready to get in bed with his gorgeous wife, which is something that he always loves to do. He always loves to be in bed with the woman he's crazy for. Walking over to his side of the bed, Matt smiled until he saw his phone flashing. Going to grab it, he saw that it was an e-mail from Kelly; a work e-mail. "Sorry, there's an e-mail that I think I need to read." Gabby just looked at Matt. "From who?" Matt sighed. "Kelly." Gabby agreed with Matt, well aware that it's going to be something that happens a lot now that they have a business. "I understand baby, just read it." Matt nodded as Gabby said that, proceeding to open the e-mail so that he could see what it was. That's when I saw that it was a great e-mail. "Oh my god." Gabby just looked at Matt when he said that. "What is it baby?" Matt just laughed. "Stella's 7 weeks pregnant."

Gabby was shocked when she heard Matt say that, before rolling over to grab her phone so that she could call her friend.

They were currently sitting up in bed together, holding each other close to that they can talk to Kelly and Stella after just learning some great news. They needed to talk to each other about this, as this is incredible. Waiting for them to answer the call, Matt and Gabby waited on pins and needles. That's when they finally answered. "Hello?" Gabby laughed when she heard Stella say that. "Are you kidding me? Did I really just hear that right? Are you pregnant?" Stella laughed when Gabby asked her whether she was pregnant. "Yes, I am pregnant once again. Seven weeks to be more precise." Gabby agreed with Stella when she said that, having heard about that from Kelly. "Yeah, Kelly just sent an e-mail out." Let's just say that didn't make Stella that happy to hear that. "Seriously? You sent out an e-mail before I could tell Gabby!" Kelly laughed. "I at least left out one part that you get to tell her. I just told my friend that we're pregnant."

Matt was shocked when he heard Kelly say that. "There's a part that you left out though Stella." Stella then sighed. "I swear, I can't keep anything secret." Gabby then went to speak to Stella. "What did you leave out?" Stella laughed. "Uhm, it's twins." Gabby was shocked. "Say what now? Did I just hear that my best friend, is having TWINS just like me!" Stella laughed. "Yeah. So it's just like you. They're giving us our first baby back." Matt agreed with Stella when she said that, as that was how they were thinking about it as well. "Well, I am so happy that's the case." Gabby then turned to look at her husband. "You know what, I don't care if you just had a meeting. You boys, go get dressed. We're not going to do this over the phone. Matt, get your swimsuit on; and then we're going to meet at the pool so that we can celebrate this." Kelly laughed when Gabby said that. "Oh hell no. You already interrupted my celebration." Matt laughed when he heard that.

"Oh, sorry man!" Stella then went to speak to her husband. "You are ridiculous, you really need to tell that to our best friends!" Kelly laughed. "Sorry babe." Stella just shook her head. "Listen, we are going to have to talk about this." Kelly then went to speak up. "I am going to need a bunch of advice from you Matt, especially when it's twins!" Gabby agreed with Kelly when he said that. "Oh, believe me; you're going to get a bunch of advice when we have the twins, as I am going to have you guys over all the time." Stella agreed with Gabby when she said that, well aware that was the case. "Listen, we'll have to co-ordinate appointments. I'm going to use the same doctor as you. Dr. Mariah Cambridge right?" Gabby agreed with her best friend. "Yes, we can definitely do that; our husbands can just get the scans after." Matt agreed with his wife when she said that. "Of course. But I am so happy for you Kelly." Kelly agreed with Matt when he said that. "Thanks man."

Matt then thought about it. "You aren't getting Tuesday off to celebrate. You already have a long weekend." Kelly agreed with his boss when he said that, understanding. "OK. No work right now okay? I would rather just concentrate on celebrating." Matt agreed with his best friend when he said that, glad that he and Stella were pregnant. "Congratulations man, and you definitely take some time to celebrate." Kelly agreed with his boss when he said that, glad that his best friend when he said that. "Thanks Matt. Now listen, I want to stop talking to you; and I want to concentrate on my wife instead." Stella laughed when she heard Kelly say that. "Bye guys." The couple then hung up with their bosses, wanting to concentrate on each other instead. Setting his phone down shortly after, Matt smiled as he turned to look at Gabby. "You happy with the news?" Gabby agreed with Matt when he asked her that, smirking as she got close to her husband.

Afterwards, she wrapped her arms around him and leaned in to kiss him softly; taking things nice and slow with her incredible husband, Gabby smiled when she felt Matt wrap his arms around her. "I'm so glad that they are pregnant." Matt smirked. "Happy enough to have a bit of fun?" Gabby shook her head when she heard Matt say that, as she just wants to relax. "No, I just want to take it easy. However, since we just told them to take some time off to celebrate; then we should definitely just go take it easy somewhere else." Matt laughed. "You want to go to our other place?" Gabby smiled. "We need to make cribs there too." Matt sighed. "Can't I just spend time with my girl right now?" Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, leaning in as she proceeded to kiss her loving husband softly.

Gabby's POV:
As I took things nice and slow with Matt, I couldn't help but be really happy for our friends; the friends who are now pregnant with their first children. God, me and Stella are both having twins. What are the odds of that? I am just so glad that they are having the kids, and that we are going to have a chance to raise things together; which is everything that I have ever wanted when it comes to raising kids, raising them with our friends. That's going to be a lot of fun, and I am just so happy for them. "We can spend time together right now." Matt smiled when I said that, moving his hand to the side of my head. Afterwards, he went ahead and just took things nice and slow with me; after all, this is definitely what we both want to be doing right now. We just want to take it easy with each other, as we hold each other close in bed. God, I am so glad that this is what we're doing; as it allows us to show each other the love that we have for each other. "I need lunch."

Matt just looked at me when I said that. "Seriously? Now." I smirked. "I was thinking. If we do it now, then we don't need to interrupt ourselves when we're hungry later." Matt agreed with me when I said that, giving me another kiss. "I love you." I agreed with Matt when he told me that, smirking due to the fact that this is everything that I want to do right now; I just want to kiss my man, especially after he gets me some lunch. "Go get me some lunch, and then we can share a nice kiss." Matt agreed with me when I said that, giving me one last kiss before getting up. Quickly turning to look at me, Matt smirked as he went ahead and walked away so that he can go make us some lunch for the both of us this morning.
