I had supper, and just didn't like the chapter that I already had written up for you guys. So, I had to re-write it all. That was the reason for the delay. NOTE: This will be the last chapter for the night, as I have something else to watch today; more specifically, Grey's Anatomy. Sorry, that I have only written three chapters today. I got distracted and need to work on concentrating much more. Then again, I truly believe that you can forgive me considering I gave you a 7,500-word chapter to end our night yesterday.

Chapter One Hundred and Forty-Seven
Peanut, Butter, Jam, and Amazon

He made her exactly what she wanted for lunch. He made her a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. He thought about just making something that he'd enjoy, but he thought that'd be selfish. So, he decided to send her a quick text and ask his beautiful wife what she wanted for lunch. And when she texted him back, he saw that it was something simple, which meant that he was going to be able to do it quickly; then, he would be able to make his way up to bed with his wife. And that was exactly what he was in the midst of doing right now. However, he didn't like what he was walking into; more specifically, he was walking in to see her watching a TV show with handsome men. "Okay, I thought I had a rule against you watching stuff with handsome men without me being here." Gabby laughed and turned her head when she heard her loving husband tell her that. "Baby, it's Days of Our Lives." Matt then realized that, agreeing with the woman he loves.

"Okay, that's fine." Gabby just looked at her husband when he said that, quite shocked that he was just okay that fast. "Really? That fast?" Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling at the woman he loves more than anything. "I know that soap operas are something that I do not argue with you about, as I know you like them." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, just smiling as he went to give her a plate of food; which Gabby gladly grabbed. Matt then proceeded to get in bed with the woman he loves, leaning back against his chest. He then went ahead and closed the covers on top of him, setting his plate down in his lap. He then got close to the woman he loves, wrapping his arm around her. At the same time, Gabby snuggled up to his side and just smirked as she laid her head down on his shoulder. "Thanks for letting me watch this." Turning his head, Matt smiled as he kissed her forehead softly. "Like I said, I want you to be happy."

Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, smirking as she looked up at the amazing man that she loves more than anything in the entire world; extremely happy over the fact that he's sitting with Gabby, which he showed her by turning her head and kissing her forehead softly. At the same time, Gabby looked up at Matt; smirking at her husband, she then leaned up and kissed her man softly. Taking things nice and slow with Gabby, Matt just smiled due to the fact that this is everything that she has ever wanted. "God, I am so glad that this is what we're doing right now. I just want to hold you close to me right now." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling due to the fact that they are both just enjoying these nice sandwiches. "So, do you like the sandwich?" Gabby agreed with the man she loves when he asked her whether she likes the sandwich that he made for her. "I love the sandwich baby, and it's really good." Matt smirked, agreeing.

He then went ahead kissed her forehead softly, that being exactly what the husband wanted to hear. "So, what are we going to do this afternoon?" Gabby laughed as Matt asked her what they were going to do today. "Well, I am currently tracking something on my iPad actually." Matt was confused when he heard Gabby say that. "What exactly are you tracking?" Gabby smiled. "Oh, just some nice clothes that I already purchased for the boys." Matt laughed when he heard Gabby say that, glad that they are currently going to be getting some things. "So, where is it at right now?" Gabby then went to look at it, smiling as she went ahead to check where the package was. "it should be here within the hour." Matt smiled when he heard Gabby say that, as she was glad that was going to be the case. "So, are we going to keep the clothes in here? Or are we going to put them in the nursery?" Gabby sighed. "I think I want to keep them in here."

Matt just looked at Gabby when she said that, clearly able to see that she was a bit hesitant to give her said answer. "Hey, why are you so hesitant when you give me that answer?" Gabby looked at Matt when he said that. "I'm not sure to tell you the truth. But I am just a bit hesitant to say that I want to put them in here but…" Matt smiled at his beautiful wife. "Baby, let's just leave them in here, as we need to get them, dressed every morning." Gabby agreed with her husband when he said that, smiling as she felt him leave a soft kiss on her forehead. And let's just say that it was a really nice feeling. She always loves it when Matt leaves kisses on her forehead, because it's definitely something that makes her feel so special; and there is definitely nothing like the feeling like the one that she has when Matt holds her in his arms, and when he kisses her forehead just like he is right now. Laying her head down on Matt's shoulder, Gabby just smiled as she proceeded to take another bite of her sandwich. After which, she proceeded to look at the man she loves. "I swear, I am way too lucky to have you as my husband." Matt shook his head when Gabby said that, as that's not the truth whatsoever. "Hey, not true."

Gabby just looked at Matt when he said that. "Baby, we're lucky to have each other; especially me as I got lucky when it comes to being able to be with you. I hate to put it this way but…I always felt lucky for some reason that Hallie died." Matt looked at his wife when she said that. "I know, it makes me a horrible person." Matt sighed as he heard Gabby say that, so conflicted at the moment due to the fact that she's talking about his late ex-fiancé. But, at the same time; she's also his wife, which almost makes her the woman he vowed to love and support for the rest of his life (vows which he just recently renewed with her). As in, yesterday. "Listen, how about this. Let's just eat our sandwiches, then I'll bring the plates back to the kitchen; after that, I'll slip back into bed, and we can cuddle up to each other. We can take it easy, and we can relax as we talk about it." Gabby agreed with Matt when he told her that, smiling as she got ready to talk about that with him.

He just finished bringing their plates of food downstairs to the kitchen after having their PB&Js in bed, while also making sure that he also grabbed the Amazon boxes that were at the door; that way, he would be able to bring it up to their room so that he could unpack it at some point with the help of his wife. Whether they do it now, or they can do it later; it doesn't matter. Just making his way into the room with the boxes, Matt smiled as he made his way over to the cribs and then set the boxes down in the individual cribs. He then turned to face Gabby and just smiled at the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world, and that means that they are now ready to just take it easy with each other as they talk to one another in bed. Making his way over to bed, Matt smirked due to the fact that Gabby looks really sexy right now; and he means that more than anything, as he truly believes that she looks incredibly sexy right now. "Hey sexy."

Gabby laughed when her husband called her sexy because she didn't believe that was the truth. But if he says that it's the truth, then she's going to take him at his word. But now, it's time for him to just get in bed with her so that they can talk to each other. Opening the covers that were once again on top of Gabby, Matt smiled as he got in bed with her; smirking, Matt slipped close to the woman of his dreams and then tugged her body against his chest. Smiling as Matt did that, she then watched as he closed the covers on top of them. "Well, you got in bed with me pretty fast." Matt smirked when he heard gabby say that, as that definitely was the truth. He then proceeded to put his hand on her neck and leaned in to kiss his girl softly. "What? My wife is sexy, and I wanted to get in bed with her." Gabby smirked when Matt said that, just moving close to her as they cuddled up to each other. Afterwards, she wrapped her arms around Matt as they held each other.

Wrapping his arms around Gabby too, Matt just smiled as he felt her lay her head down on his heart. "So, do you want me to lay down in bed some more? Or would you rather lay on my chest?" Gabby smiled when Matt asked her that, putting her hand on his shirtless chest before bending down and kissing his chest softly. After which, she just held the man she loves more than anything. Putting his hand on the back of Gabby's head, Matt smiled as he kissed the top of her head. "Listen, can we talk about what I just said?" Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that. "Listen, I just want to say that I know how much you wanted Hallie to not be in my life anymore; I know that." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, taking a breath. "I just hate the fact that I just said that I'm glad that she died. I mean, how can I say that; especially when it literally broke you. Matt, I need you to know that okay?" Matt then decided to just listen to the woman he loves right now.

Putting her hand on Matt's chest, Gabby took a breath while feeling him put his hand on hers; after which, Matt turned his head and kissed her forehead softly. And let's just say that made Gabby smile, as she was definitely happy over the fact that Matt just kissed her forehead. "God, I love it when you kiss my forehead." Matt agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling due to the fact that he's really happy right now; he's always happy whenever he's with the woman he loves more than anybody in the entire world. "Good, because I am always going to keep doing it; as I love kissing your forehead as well." Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling as that was exactly what she wanted to hear him say. But now, that was not what they needed to talk about right now; rather, she wants to talk about that thing that she mentioned. "Listen, we need to talk about that. I want to get it over with, because I know that I hurt you." Matt agreed with Gabby.

"Can I just talk to you about it?" Gabby agreed with Matt when he asked her that, deciding to let him talk first.

Matt's POV:
Taking a breath as I got ready to talk to Gabby about what she said that, I took a breath as I knew that this was going to be a hard conversation that I need to have with my WIFE about a topic that deals with my late EX-fiancé. God, this is going to be complicated; and I need to make sure that we set some ground rules. Wrapping my arm around Gabby, I took a breath while stroking her back. "Listen, I think we need to set some ground rules; we need to remember that we're the ones who are married, and we love each other." Gabby agreed with me when I said that, smiling due to the fact that was exactly what she wanted to hear from me (I think). "Let me guess, that's what you want to hear from me right now?" Gabby agreed with me when I asked her that, just smiling as she got close to me; afterwards, she wrapped her arms around me nice and tight. I then put my hand on her stomach, smiling as I stroked it with my thumb while leaning in and kissing my girl softly.

Just taking things nice and slow with my girl, I smirked as I am so happy with her. "I love you." Gabby agreed with me as I told her that, putting her hand on my face as she leaned her forehead against mine. "But listen, we need to talk about this. Gabby, I get what you're saying okay? I get that you're happy that we're together, and I know that you're happy that everything turned out so that we could be together." Gabby agreed with me as I said that. "Babe, I don't want you to forget that I have always known that you have always had feelings for me; so I am well aware that's the case. And we are not going to worry about rehashing that, as that's something that we're already past." Gabby looked into my eyes when I told her that. "Now, here's where I'm going to need some comfort." Gabby was confused when I said that. "You're going to need comfort?" I took a breath when Gabby asked me that, because it was the truth; as I am not happy about this.

"Because I am going to feel so ashamed after I say the following: I'm happy that Hallie died too, because it means that we're together; especially now." Gabby just looked at me when I said the 'especially now' part at the end of my sentence. "Okay, especially now? I am not sure why you are saying that." I smiled before putting my hand on her stomach. "Because you are the only one of my fiancés that would've ever made me a father." Gabby smiled when I said that. "Can you still believe that you've had two fiancés?" I shook my head when Gabby said that. "No, I can't really. I know that sounds horrible but…" Gabby shook her head when I said that. "Hey, it's okay. I think we can both forgive each other for what we said. It's something that we both know that can hurt each other, and we just need to remember that we love each other."

Gabby agreed with me when I said that, smiling as she leaned in; she then proceeded to just taking things nice and slow with me, which is exactly what I want right now. I want to take things nice and slow with the most beautiful woman in the entire world, and then future mother of my children. Gabby then got nice and close to me, before wrapping her arms around my neck. Just cuddling up to each other, me and Gabby held each other close; at the same time, I moved my hand up the shirt that she was wearing. The shirt which was currently covering her braless body. And let's just say that I definitely want to move my hand to the front of her body, so that I can touch her breasts; but I know that I shouldn't, because we need to relax with each other right now. I then leaned in, proceeding to kiss her softly once again. Just taking things nice and slow with the woman I love more than anything, I smirked due to the fact that this is all I want to do right now.

"You aren't touching my breasts Mr. Casey." I leaned back, I looked at the woman I love when she said that; shocked that she just said that, especially since I was just thinking about that. "OK. How in the world did you know that I was thinking about that right now?" Gabby smirked when I asked her that, leaning in so that she can kiss me softly. "Because I know you better than anybody in the entire world." I agreed with Gabby when she said that, just smiling due to the fact that I am so happy over the fact that Gabby is the woman of my dreams. I then started to take things nice and slow with my girl. "Maybe I can convince you to take off that shirt? And we can just cuddle? We can hold each other close, as we just relax in bed with each other?" Gabby smiled. "We aren't going to work for the rest of the day, are we?" I just took a breath when Gabby said that. "Uhm, I think I want to talk about the new thing I got diagnosed with." Gabby agreed with me when I said that.

"Hey, if you want to talk about your PTSD; then you can always talk to me about your PTSD baby, and I hope that you know that." I agreed with Gabby when she said that, smiling at the woman of my dreams as she told me that. "I'm just worried about how it might affect me in the future." Gabby agreed with me when I said that. "Yeah, I can see that being something that's on your mind." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that, just taking a breath as I proceeded to grab her hand. Stroking her hand, I just smiled due to the fact that I love her more than anything; after which, I leaned in and kissed Gabby softly. Just taking things nice and slow with the woman I love more than anything in the entire world, I just smirked due to the fact that this is perfect. "How are you feeling after lunch, by the way? Was it easy on your stomach?" Gabby smiled.

"It tasted great baby, thanks for asking." I smiled when Gabby said that, just smirking as I leaned in and proceeded to kiss the woman I love more than anything in the entire world; after all, she is extremely sexy, and she's also the love of my life. "And it didn't bother you right?" Gabby shook her head when I asked her that. "Baby, I promise that everything is fine; and I am so glad that you asked." I smiled, just agreeing with Gabby when she told me that; afterwards, I put my hand on her neck and kissed her softly. After which, I took things nice and slow with the woman I love more than anything in the entire world once again. God, she is just so damn sexy; and I am so proud of the fact that she's my wife. "I love you so much." Gabby smiled as I told her that. She then slipped close to me, wrapping her arms around my neck once again; afterwards, I wrapped my arm around her back nice and tight. "So, PTSD talk now." I sighed when Gabby said that, but agreed with her.

"So, what do you want to talk to me about?" Gabby smiled at me. "Just talk to me about how you are right now. I mean, you must be quite worried about stuff about it." I sighed when Gabby asked me that. "I guess, I am just worried how PTSD is going to affect how I'm going to be as a dad."

Gabby's POV:
When I heard Matt question how his PTSD is going to affect how he is as a dad, I was just shocked. I mean, he shouldn't do that; as I know that will not have any effect on him. I mean, he is a great man; and he's an even better husband. And since he got diagnosed with PTSD, he hasn't changed when it comes to being a husband. Sure, has he maybe been a bit more worried? And a bit more stressed when it comes to the situation that we have in our life? Of course, it has. But I also know that there's a reason why that's the case, and that's because he has a lot on his plate. Right now, we just need to make sure that he figures it out. "Listen, I get that you're worried. I get that you're worried about how this is going to affect the kids. I know all of that baby." Matt agreed with me as I told him that, smiling as he was really happy that I'm understanding right now. "However, I don't want you to think that this is going to affect anything when it comes to your parenting skills."

Matt sighed when I said that, about to say something…but I then went to interrupt him. "Matt, I have seen you be a dad before you learned about the diagnosis; and you are going to bring out those same skills, when we have the twins. I already know you'll do that, and I do not want you to believe that you're not going to do anything bad to our kids. I love you, and you are going to love our kids more than anything in the entire world; that's just the truth, and I know that you aren't going to hurt the kids. You are going to be the most loving, caring father in the entire world; and that's not just to your own children, and it's also happening with Ben and Griffin. Sure, they may be teenagers now; but that doesn't mean that I don't still see the same man. The man that I really feel in love with, when we were taking care of the boys." Matt agreed with me when I said that, smiling due to the fact that he's definitely listening to what I'm saying right now.

"And I do not even want you to think that you aren't going to be a good father, because you're going to be a great father; and that's the last I want to hear about this." Matt agreed with me when I said that, smiling as he leaned in and kissed me softly. "And you're going to be a great mom too." I just smiled, agreeing Matt when he told me that; I then took things nice and slow with the woman I love. "I love you so much, and I am so glad that we're here with each other right now." I agreed with Matt when he said that, proceeding to grab his hand; playing with his wedding band, I just smirked as I was very happy as I looked at it. "You know, I am so glad that I got you a gold wedding band." Matt laughed. "Yeah, what was the other option? These are the only type of options." I shook my head. "No, I was thinking of getting a black, silicone one that might be better in fire; but this one is really nice, especially when we're going to go to events together." Matt agreed with me.

"Dibs on being your date." I just laughed when I heard Matt say that, shaking my head. "Sorry, but I only go to events with my husband." Matt smirked as he leaned in, kissing me softly. "Oh, and he only goes to events with you." I agreed with Matt when he said that, smiling at her. "I love you." Matt smirked when I said that, agreeing with me. "I love you too." Me and Matt then proceeded to kiss each other softly once again, taking things nice and slow with each other as we relaxed in bed with each other. "Do you think that you're going to fall asleep while were just holding each other close?" I shrugged when Matt asked me that, slipping nice and close to him before putting my hand on his neck; at the same time, Matt put his hand on my stomach and just smirked due to the fact that he was very happy. "I think I might, as I am always tired in the afternoon." Matt agreed with me, grabbing my hand as he brought me close to him this afternoon.

I then put my hand on his side, smiling as I looked up at my husband; at the same time, Matt looked down at me before kissing me softly. Just taking things nice and slow with me, Matt smiled as he moved at hand to my neck; before stroking my cheek with his thumb, which just made me smile more than anything in the entire world. "How about we just take it easy like that? Until I fall asleep in your arms." Matt agreed with me when I said that, smiling as he ran his hand up and down his arm. He then stroked it, and smiled due to the fact that he's very happy right now; we're both extremely happy with each other due to the fact that we're going to be having the twins. And that was exactly what I dreamed about when we took a nap this afternoon.
