Ace was excited, as he would meet the others today, and this time, they would be at Shachi's, which he never had been before, and it was a nice home. He did get a tour, and he really liked this place. It seemed like a nice house. Everyone had arrived by now, except Mika and Trevor, but they should be here soon. So, they sat down on their table and spoke as they waited.

And some minutes later, Mika and Trevor came in, and he was glad to see Mika, but frowned when she didn't look like herself. She sat down and moved her hands to her face as she gave a breath, and Shachi moved a hand to her back. "You okay?" Mika shook her head. "No! I am not!" Ace frowned more, when she didn't continue, he moved a hand to her shoulder. "Why not? Did anything happen?" Mika nodded and moved her hands away, her eyes semi red. "Yes, my mom found out about, well, everything. She found out about Trevor and I, that we're intimate, and it is more than just a relationship." Zoro had a frown as well "How?" Mika sighed. "I went to the bathroom, and somehow didn't manage to lock my phone- I always do when I leave it- and my mom wanted to search up something, and her phone sucks. Well, she found conversations and pictures, and everything." Mika stopped, and Ace felt bad for her. "And?" He had a feeling what it was.

Mika sighed again. "And she has a fit. Yelling at me when I go back into the room. My dad tries to calm her, and she has another fit when she figures out he knew. Saying how I am disgrace to the house and God. A disgrace to her and the family. You get it." They all nodded, Zoro speaking. "Did she disown you?" She probably had, but Mika shook her head. "No. Said that if she did, the community and church would know, her friends will know, and she can't have that. Her image is more important than disowning me, which she wants to do. So, I need to still go to church with her, show up at gatherings, and look the part. We will never speak of this again, and I am not allowed back in the house, unless it is absolutely necessary for her own image. And I am not allowed to talk to dad either. And that's what makes me really sad. I really like him."

He moved a hand to her hand. "I am sorry." Mika sighed and shook her head. "No, it's nobody's fault but mine. I just wish I could go back in time. Lock that phone. But on the bright side, I get to live with Trevor full time." He nodded, that was something. He still felt bad for her. Mika moved her hands. "But, can we talk about something else? How are you guys?" He got Mika wanted to change the topic, and Ace nodded. "We're fine. I am thinking about that I might need to have a talk with Sabo, as I feel he still might be a bit unsure about this, this whole dom/sub thing and everything." Zoro nodded. "You should if you feel that. But Marco really is a nice person, and a good Dom, just say that." Marco was, at least up until now, and he hoped it would stay that way. He had been burned before.

The stay went by fine, and he had fun, and they all tried to make Mika feel better, and it seemed it helped as well. Which was good. When the time to leave came, he hugged her and said it would be alright, and Mika nodded and said she hoped so, and they could only wait. He would be sure to check in on her at times.

Some days later, he was with Sabo, before he left for the store and he got Sabo's card so he could buy as Sabo wasn't really in the mood to head out. And it was fine for him. When he got back, they had fun, before he needed to head home. He didn't have the talk with Sabo now, as he felt it didn't fit right now. And he decided to stop at the liquor store and get some wine for him and Marco, that was always nice to have, and Marco really enjoyed it. He was trying to get better at enjoying wine. He still found the taste a bit weird and rotten, but he had tasted a few that was okay, and he was getting used to it.

Then he got to the cash register and was asked for ID, which he grabbed on auto and handed it, and waited for it be handed back so he could pay with his card, when the woman in the cash register frowned. "You can't buy this." Ace blinked, before he frowned. "What? I am old enough." The cashier hummed. "I doubt it. The cops have been called." Ace frowned more. What? He opened his wallet, and on his way to take out his drivers license instead, when he saw his bank card there. How? Then it dawned on him, and he looked at the cashier. "What did I give you? Was it Sabo's?" The cashier gave him a look. "It is not you! You could have at least used someone who looks like you." Ace shook his head. "No no! I gave you the wrong one! I have my brother's ID on me, this is me!" He said as he showed his ID. But the cashier shook her head. "No, that's false too. Just wait over there." Ace tried to explain it again, but no, she wouldn't listen. So, he sighed and nodded. "Okay okay, I'll wait for them." The cashier frowned. "You will wait? Willingly?" Ace nodded. "Yeah. I did nothing wrong! I tried explaining it." The woman just rolled her eyes, and he decided to just wait.

It didn't take long for two cops to show up and the woman in the cash register updated them, before they came to him. And when they did, one of the cops looked at him. "We need someone to call, new rules and regulations." Ace nodded and gave Marco's name and info, and he was called while he talked to the other cop, who looked at him. "What did you do? Trying to steal booze with a false ID? That is illegal." He said as he looked at Sabo's ID. Ace sighed. "Yeah, that's Sabo's. This is mine." He said as he gave the man his card, before Ace reached into his wallet again. "And here is my drivers license, here is my insurance card, and here is another card, all with my name and image. I have my brother's ID on me as I needed to buy something for him, and I accidentally gave her the wrong one. I forgot to give Sabo's back." The cop nodded and checked the cards, before he nodded. "I believe you, but we need to make a report since we came here. Nothing dangerous, nothing on your rap sheet as you did nothing wrong. It might take half an hour." Ace nodded. "It is okay. I tried to tell her, but she wouldn't listen." He wished she had, as this could all have been avoided.

The cop nodded, before he chuckled. "I see. It is okay. This is my first one though. Never had this happen before." Ace chuckled himself. "Yeah. Sorry you had to come all the way here for nothing." The cop shook his head. "No no, it is okay." The other cop then came over, and looked at the other one. "Okay, he is informed. How is it going here?" The cop hummed and explained what had happened, before the other cop laughed. "My third one, this happens. We still have to make a report, but nothing will happen to you or your rap sheet." Ace nodded and said the other one had explained that, which the cop found good.

They then took some more info, and it was all written down, before he was let go, with a report himself, as he wanted to show this to Sabo, that he had almost gotten in trouble for a small mistake, which was Ace's, but mostly on the cashier's one, who didn't take his word. But he got it as well, she only did her job. But she should have checked his real ID's. He then called Sabo and said what had happened, and he didn't believe him, and Ace said he had the report to prove it, and would show it, which Sabo wanted to see, he also found it a bit funny. He did take a picture of the report, and sent that to Sabo, and said he would bring the real one too. As that was easier to read than a picture.

When he got home, Marco was waiting for him in the hallway, and had a serious look on his face, and Ace smiled. "Hey! You never guess what happened!" Marco gave a breath. "You got caught shoplifting, yoi." Ace blinked, and his smile fell. "What? No. I didn't." Marco gave a disbelieving look. "That was what I was told, yoi." Ace blinked, on his way to talk, when Marco cut him off. "Ace, you can't try and shoplift, if you need money, just tell me, yoi." Ace blinked. "I don't need mo-" Marco shook his head and cut him off again. "Obviously you do. Why did you try and do this, yoi?" Ace did try and talk, but Marco cut him off again. "Just be honest. You got caught shoplifting." Ace blinked, and looked at Marco. "I didn't! Listen to me!" Marco shook his head. "No! The cops called me! You gave them my number and forgot, yoi? They said you were caught trying to shoplift booze! Why would you do that, yoi?"

Ace tried to talk, but Marco held up his hand. "I won't listen to excuses. Actually, since you keep trying to say excuses, you need to be silent for an hour, so you can think, and then we can talk again, yoi. Maybe you won't try to make excuses." Ace blinked, before he tried to speak, but Marco just repeated himself, before Ace decided to just give up for now, and went silent, fuming. When the hour had passed, Marco looked at him. "Now, should we try again, yoi?" Ace felt like Marco needed the hour, not him, and Ace gave a look to Marco, getting the report. "And since I can finally talk, here. I will be with Sabo for a bit." Then Ace just left, not wanting to deal more with Marco right now. The report said everything, how it had been a misunderstanding, how Ace had Sabo's ID, and how he proved he was old enough.

When he got to Sabo, his phone on silent so he could hear the music in his car from Spotify without having it interrupted by messages from Marco as he drove, Sabo wasn't shocked to see him, but was shocked when he explained what had happened. "He really didn't let you speak?" Ace shook his head. "No, he didn't! I am so mad at him!" Ace gave a look to Sabo. "And don't you dare let him in here if he shows up, as you did last time!" Sabo nodded. "Okay, I won't He felt sorry, so I felt you should talk." Ace sighed. "Okay, fine, you win that one. But still, not this time." Sabo nodded, before they went to have fun playing some games. It took an hour, before Sabo's phone rang, and he saw it was Marco as Sabo answered, "Yello." He couldn't hear the other end, but Sabo hummed. "Yeah, no. You need to listen to him, he doesn't need to only listen to you. He's fine here, we're having fun. Bye!" Then Sabo hung up as he heard Marco saying something Sabo didn't want to hear.

When they were having a break in the playing, he took his phone up for the first time, and was bombarded with the texts Marco had sent. Even calls. He quickly read them, before he rolled his eyes and looked at Sabo. "He says he's sorry, but this isn't the first time! I am so mad!" Sabo nodded. "I get that. He did wrong." He was glad Sabo agreed. He then stayed with Sabo for some hours, before he left for home. He didn't tell Marco he was coming home, but he didn't want to sleep over at Sabo's either this night. Just something inside him said he shouldn't stay with Sabo for the night. He also still didn't have the talk, as he felt this whole situation painted a bad picture of Marco.

When he got home and not even a step into the house, he was in a hug by Marco. "Oh my God! I thought you wouldn't return, yoi!" Ace hummed. "Won't break it off just because I am mad. Or maybe I will one day. If you keep not listening to me." Marco sighed and let go. "Sorry sorry, but the policeman sounded very sure of himself, yoi." Ace nodded. "Yes, and that was since he didn't have the full story. While he called you, I was talking to the other cop who showed up. He didn't get the full story until after he was done talking to you." Marco sighed again. "I feel so bad, yoi." Ace nodded. "And you should, in my opinion."

Ace sighed. "Also, why is this a recurring problem? I mean, I feel like my words mean nothing to you." Marco sighed as well. "I don't know. I just… I don't know. The cop sounded so sure. I am so very sorry." Ace sighed. "He was sure since he didn't have the full story! I need you to listen to me." Ace moved a hand to his chest with the last part, and Marco nodded. "And I will, I promise, yoi. I am so sorry about this. May I hug you?" Ace took a breath. "Yeah, sure." Marco hugged him and held him tight for a few seconds, before he spoke. "I am so sorry, I need to listen to you more, and I will do, I promise, yoi." Ace nodded. "You better." Marco let go of him and looked at him. "I will." Ace really hoped so. Maybe this would be a turning point. Maybe Marco would listen more to him now. He just hoped so.
