Here's the rest of the story as it was originally intended. I got discouraged from it and for that I apologize. The ending I gave you guys was terrible but I'm gonna stick it out this time until it's done for real. Also, a lot of you may have moved on from this story but for those of you still here, Thank you. Dick Wold owns the characters.
Eight hundred and thirty four seconds that ended with him on top of her, crushing her belly while his hands grabbed her everywhere.
"Harlan...Harlan, please!" She moaned. She hurt. And with the baby being in a position that made it excruciating to lie on her back, she was in agony.
He didn't know how much strength he used in his drunken state and it ended with her almost passing out! He kept right on fucking her though, never one to have his party spoiled.
She was counting in her head, the minutes until he'd pass out this time! She was in so much pain; this pregnancy hadn't been an easy one, and sex, it was like torture on an already tortuous situation but what choice did she have?
She had already collapsed under her own weight, coupled with his and now, she was being pressed into the mattress with his hands around her neck so tight, she could barely breathe! Desperate, she clawed at his hands to ease the pressure but this only resulted in him choking her harder as he fucked her at an alarming pace, slamming into her like there was no tomorrow. No reprieve in sight!
"That's it honey. Give daddy all that sweetness"
"Harlan...no, please!" She cried while she tried harder to get his hands from around her neck but they were like stone; they couldn't be moved.
"You love it, don't ya Baby?"
"...I can't breathe...Harlan!" She was striking at him, trying to land a hit anywhere. He was too drunk and she felt herself getting lightheaded as she clawed at his face. But suddenly he hauled off and slapped her so hard across the face, her torso jerked and fell sideways.
Suddenly, there it came, a growl so guttural it shook the walls as he came inside her. "Thats right bitch. You take it all!" He yelled drunkenly as he prodded deeper; leaving bruises along her hip and neck as he held her there tight to be sure that not a drop was wasted. He didn't care about what pain he was causing her. Holding her until he'd completely emptied inside her, then just like that, he released his grip and fell beside her, drunk and grinning while she tried to recover from this latest brutalization. She inhaled, deep breaths as she lay there beside him with blood pouring from her mouth.
"Ohhhh baby! I tell ya, you are somethin special! No matter how many times I get in that sweet, sweet pussy…" he laughed, amused at himself. "...it's s just like the first time. A lil looser, but just like the first time!"
Drunkenly, he got out of bed, staggering a bit as he tried to pull his pants up while she prayed that he would trip and split his head open. No such luck to her dismay.
"Don't get comfortable, that was just a warm up" he said as he opened the door and several men, one by one, rushed in and filled the room as Olivia immediately got up and tried to run but was stopped before she could even take a step.
"Harlan no!" She screamed as the men held her down. "NOOOOO!"
While downstairs in she and Elliot's kitchen...
"Okay, where did that come from? And I'm gonna regret this, but why?" Maureen said to Dickie as she laughed.
"Because, that means they're still having sex!" He said with a shiver.
"Lots of it." Elliot grinned.
"Dad, that's gross!" They both cringed. Suddenly, they all heard shouting coming from upstairs.
"Wait, is that…?" Maureen began but Elliot had already removed his apron in a panic.
He ran out of the kitchen and kept running through the living room.
"Daddy, no running" Serena shouted as Elliot ran past.
"Sorry Princess. Keep her here" he said to Elizabeth. He entered the bedroom then the bathroom to find Olivia was thrashing about violently, trying to fight an unseen person. Water was flying everywhere and she was screaming
"Harlan don't...DON'T!"
Things were falling to the floor from the tub and Elliot tried to wake her from the bathtub but it was no use and it saddened him when he did all he could but finally had to slap her to wake her up.
"I got you." He soothed.
She snapped back to reality tense and gasping for air. Nervously she looked around, wide eyed at the now water-soaked room for some familiarity as Elliot stroked her wet hair and kissed her head "Baby you're okay."
She stared at him momentarily as she wiped the water from her eyes, spitting out a mouthful as she started to cry and collapsed into his arms, trembling and in tears as she held him tight.
"Don't let go!"
"I won't let go." He whispered softly in an attempt to calm her down. "I'm right here."
"It was so real!" She cried, there against him. She hadn't had one of these dreams in over a year but even then, they never felt so genuine.
"Shhhh. It's okay, you're safe now" He kissed her forehead. "You're safe, I promise!"
...
"Hey little ones, mama's ho-" Amanda started as she came in the front door but cut her own self off when she saw Trey and Mani sitting with Eugenia on the sofa reading a book.
"Mama!" The children cried as they ran to her happily and hugged her legs as tight as their little arms could.
"Eugenia, I forgot you were coming." Amanda said as she bent to pick up the kids and sat down. "What smells so good?"
"I figured you would be tired after a long day so I made dinner. Fried chicken, baked macaroni and cheese, collard greens…"
Amanda's mouth was watering. "Tell me again why you don't come from DC more often, and when do we eat?"
Eugenia laughed. "...just waiting on the biscuits. "But anyway, how've you been; you look well?"
"Thank you, and pretty good actually. It's been a big leap returning to work-"
"Ma, peash, mik?" Trey asked as he began pulling at her blouse. Amanda quickly undid her shirt to feed him. Imani got up and ran off to get her sippy cup.
"So, you said you wanted to talk to me about something you couldn't say on the phone, what is it?"
"Actually, I was wondering-"
"Heeya" Imani said to Eugenia as she brought her baby doll to her grandmother and climbed on her lap.
"Thank you, precious ...so as I was saying, I was wondering; hoping actually that you'd be open…"
"To what?" but just as Eugenia was about to speak, the timer for the biscuits sounded.
"Speak of the devil. We'll talk after dinner. Come Mani, want to help grandma again?" She asked as she got up and took Imani by the hand and went off toward the kitchen as Amanda got up, Trey in tow and followed, only to be sidelined by the doorbell ringing.
"Fin" she said, trying to hold Trey. "What are you doing here?"
"Am I interrupting anything?" He said as he came in and tickled Trey.
"No, we were just about to sit down to dinner, you're welcome to stay."
His face screwed up, thinking about her many attempts at cooking and his stomach got bad feeling. "You know what? I'll take a raincheck"
"Ha ha" Amanda laughed sarcastically as Eugenia came from the kitchen.
"Amanda, diner's rea- oh hello" she said to Fin as she came toward him with her arms outstretched. "Seargent Tutuola. It's good to see you" she smiled as she hugged him.
"Mrs. Collins, you look well." Fin said.
"Can you stay? We were just sitting down to dinner and I made a lot more than the five of us can eat."
"Wait, you cooked?' Fin asked, suddenly excited.
"Oh yes. Fried chicken, collard greens…"
"You know what Amanda, on second thought, I think I will stay!" But Amanda just rolled her eyes playfully as Eugenia smiled happily.
"Anyway, I hope you like peach cobbler"
"Yeah, yeah!" Fin said as he rubbed his hands together.
"Eugenia, could you take Trey" Amanda said as she turned around and unlatched him from her breast, handing him over to his grandmother and quickly fixed her shirt.
"Momma!" Trey protested.
"It's okay baby...after dinner. We'll be in in a minute Eugenia." She and Trey were gone when Amanda turned back to Fin.
"Uhhh, she doesn't know about us, so…"
"It's not a problem, Amanda. I told you, as slow as you want this to go. Now, can we please go and eat? A brotha is STARVING!"
"Funny, you're never that hungry when I cook" she laughed as she looked behind her at the kitchen before drawing into Fin and planting a sensual kiss on his lips that lasted a few seconds.
"Offering dessert before dinner?"
"Sorry, I don't think you'll be getting any tonight, big Daddy" she kissed him again. "Comeon, let's get in there before she comes looking for us."
…
Elliot had gotten her out of the tub but still, she was trembling so badly. Even after he had gotten her nightgown on and put her to bed, she couldn't stop shaking or crying and now sat trying to calm herself as Elliot kneeled in front of her.
"You sure you don't want me to call Dr. Lindstrom?"
"Elliot, I just...I had a moment, I'm fine now."
"Baby, you're still shaking." He said softly as he stroked the back of her hand while he moved her still damp hair out of her face.
"I-" she started but was cut short by Dickie coming out of the bathroom.
"All clean." Dickie said as he emerged with the mop bucket and a bunch of wet towels for the wash.
"Since when did you become so tidy?" Elliot laughed, trying to seem un-bothered as he stood up and turned toward Dickie scratching his nose with his thumb.
"The ladies like it clean, I learned. Liv, you alright?"
"I'm okay, thank you Richard but you didn't have to clean up my mess. That's your father's job" she smiled wanly and Dickie laughed.
"Hey, it's no problem. I'm just glad you're okay. I'm gonna go and get these towels washed." He said and left the room. Elliot turned back around to Olivia and started to speak but she cut him off.
"El..."
"Liv, you had a dream that was so bad…"
"I'm fine; we're fine, I promise" she sat rubbing her belly. The baby was kicking now and quite uncomfortably, and Elliot noticed that her hands were still shaking. She noticed him noticing and quickly put them beneath the covers that were resting around her belly.
"Why don't I-"
"Why don't you go and finish dinner? I haven't eaten yet and I'm starved"
He backed off, seeing clearly that she was not up for talking about this. Though he wanted to, he realized that he had to be patient. It had been two years since the last time that Harlan had assaulted her, but for her, he knew that although she might deny it, it was still fresh for her; all of it was.
He relented and gave her some space.
"How about I bring Serena up with dinner to eat with you?"
"I'd love that, but she's having fun with her brothers and sisters, I don't wanna disturb that."
"I love you." He said to her as he palmed her belly "both of you...I'll be back in a bit"
When he left, closing the door behind him, she let out the breath she had been holding in and lay her head back, tears spilling from her eyes. Why did this dream freak her out like this? Maybe it was because after all this time, she still hadn't quite managed to put Harlan away, and now, 2 whole years later a part of her mind still hadn't let go of him or his son. She was close to having a boy any day now and a part of her worried what if? She'd give birth to this baby, this little guy who would one day grow up to be a man and it scared her! What if for all her and Elliot's love and teaching he grew up wrong?
"No!" She said out loud as she caressed her belly with hands that had now thankfully ceased shaking. She couldn't think this way; she wouldn't think this way. Even if she couldn't share her fears with anyone.
More to come
