(Jane & Maura)
Jane smiled as she looked at her rounded belly. She couldn't believe that she was going to become a mother and even less that she was going to marry the woman of her life: Maura Dorthea Isles.
Maura who was everything to her: her best friend, her confidante, her partner, her fiancée and soon her wife.
They had confessed their feelings to each other two years ago, after a particularly dangerous investigation which had almost cost them their lives and since then they had become even more close than before and when they revealed their relationship, it was a big moment of joy in the Rizzoli family especially for Angela who was just waiting for that then one day Maura smiling asked Jane if she wanted a child then if she wanted to carry it and Jane to Maura's great astonishment had answered yes to both questions !
Jane had accepted everything: the constraints of pregnancy, no longer drinking coffee, no longer drinking beer or alcohol, no longer going into the field and staying to work at her office and then no longer going down to the morgue because of the chemicals that were there and also eating healthier and other little things. Jane had accepted all of this for Maura's happiness and out of love for her and now she felt fulfilled and happy, as if everything had fallen into place in her life.
Jane and Maura had recently found out it was a girl and they were over the moon. They had already chosen the names: Angela Constance, in homage to Jane's mother and Maura's adoptive mother who supported them and loved them so much. Jane still couldn't believe it. She was pregnant with a girl, the result of her love with Maura.
Jane had never imagined being a mother and in fact she had often said she didn't want children but her love for Maura had changed that. Maura, for her part, was happy. She had always wanted to have a child, but she had never found the right partner and when she met Jane, she knew she was the person she was waiting for.
The two women had decided to get married before the birth of their daughter. They wanted to make their union and their commitment to each other official.
Today was the big day: Jane and Maura were going to say yes in front of their families and friends, in a simple but loving ceremony. Jane felt nervous, but also happy as ever. Jane wore a dress much to the delight of her mother Angela and brothers Frankie and Tommy. She didn't like it but wearing pants with her rounded stomach would have embarrassed her and she wanted to be comfortable. Jane knew that she was going to be united for life with Maura, her one true love and that they would soon welcome their little girl. Jane smiled and walked down the aisle to join her fiancée and knew that she and Maura were meant for each other and that they were going to be happy.
Jane and Maura looked radiant in their white lace dresses and they exchanged vows and wedding rings before the emotional eyes of their guests.
Jane and Maura kissed tenderly, sealing their love and happiness and Maura at the same time as she kissed Jane placed her hand on her wife's rounded belly and both women felt their baby kick as if she wanted participate in this magical moment. They smiled, looking into each other's eyes with tenderness. They were ready to start a new life together, with their little girl who would be born in a few months
