(Jane, Maura, Angela)

After a year at the FBI, Jane Rizzoli decided to leave her position. She needed a change, to find her roots. So she packed her bags and returned to Boston, leaving Cameron Davies and her life in Quantico behind.

Jane had decided to go to her best friend, Maura Isles. Maura had been surprised when she saw Jane at her door but she was delighted to welcome her and accommodate her and then the two women had spent the first two days catching up, talking about everything and nothing, laughing and sharing memories then the two women had finally decided to admit that they loved each other and the following days they spent their time loving and cuddling.

Angela who lived with Korsak, had decided to visit Maura. Angela opened the door and walked in and saw Jane and in surprise she dropped the bags she was carrying and exclaimed with wide eyes:

« Jane? But…what are you doing here? »

Jane smiled, stood up to kiss her mother and said

« Hello Ma ! I'm back !»

Angela looked at her daughter, then Maura, then back at her daughter and said as surprised as ever.

« You are back ? Really ? Since when ? But why ? What about your job at the FBI? What about your boyfriend Cameron Davies? »

Jane exchanged a look with Maura before responding:

« I came back on Monday. I needed to come home, Ma. I needed to... to find myself. I liked my job at the FBI but I realized I was far from everything that made me happy... I was far from home... far from my family, my friends... from Maura, so I gave my resignation and I left after the promotion of the trainee agents.

Angela asked

« And Davies? Will he come too? »

Angela had never really liked Cameron Davies who for her was the man who took Jane away from what made her happy but she respected Jane's choice to leave.

Jane says

« Ma… It's over with Davies, I spent a year with him and it wasn't a success. He didn't understand me when I told him that I was starting to miss Boston and he didn't really loved me. It's over since I left but in fact it was over between him and me four months ago.

I'm going to come back to BPD but not to Criminal... not right away. I want my life back and Frankie and Frost are a great team and I don't want to break that
